People who have a creative side and do not live it out are most disagreeable. They make a mountain out of a molehill, fuss about unnecessary things, are too passionately in love with somebody who is not worth so much attention, and so on.
There is a kind of floating charge of energy in them which is not attached to its right object and therefore tends to apply exaggerated dynamism to the wrong situation.

No, you're not wrong.
You're not wrong for wanting a better life for yourself.
You're not wrong for believing that you are deserving of better.
You're not wrong for making those necessary changes in your life.
You're not wrong for changing the way you show up to life.
You're not wrong for distancing yourself from those things that harm you.
You're not wrong.

Understanding of oneself is the first act in establishing a transformative philosophy for living a vivid and a reflective existence. Knowing thy self is essential to designing and instigating a meaningful life that is self-directed instead of exclusively controlled by innate traits and external determinates.

As long as you keep secrets and suppress information, you are fundamentally at war with yourself…. The critical issue is allowing yourself to know what you know. That takes an enormous amount of courage.

There's something about accepting yourself, your body, your mind, your personality. Recognize it. And before that, identify it. And then sit with it. And then allow yourself to love it, to smile at it, to really be it without shame. That's where genuineness starts, then authenticity. That's where you can start to build every single thing that you've ever wanted for yourself. And then pure, real, vibrant confidence walks in without even being asked to.

In trying to express the nature of intellectual knowledge, Muslim scholars commonly cite mathematical understanding as an example, and they consider true mathematical insight as a halfway house on the road to intellectual vision. A real knowledge of mathematics does not derive from rote learning or rational argumentation, but rather from the discovery of the logic and clarity of mathematics in one’s own self-awareness. When one perceives the truth of a mathematical statement, one cannot deny it, because it is self-evident to the intelligence.

When you become aware of your vulnerabilities, they lose their power over you. Your awareness of them is enough to start the healing process of self-acceptance.

Bluestreak cleaner wrasses (Labroides dimidiatus) are fundamental in coral ecosystems, as they remove parasites from fishes, keeping them healthy, and according to a recent study, they may be self-aware as these small fishes can recognize theyself in photos and mirror, an ability usually attributed to humans and large mammals. According to researchers, self-awareness may be more widespread among animals than previously thought.
Cleaner fish, likely recognize their own mirror image using a mental image of the self-face comparable to humans. Mirror-naïve fish frequently attacked photographs of both themselves and strangers. In contrast, after passing the mirror test, aggression against their own photograph and composite photographs of own face/stranger body declined, but aggression remained toward unfamiliar and composite photographs of stranger face/own body. These results suggest that cleaner fish with mirror self-recognition ability can recognize their own mirror image based on a mental image of their own face, rather than by comparing body movements in the mirror

What we see depends mainly on what we look for. ... In the same field, the farmer will notice the crop, the geologists the fossils, botanists the flowers, artists the coloring, sportmen the cover for the game. Though we may all look at the same things, it does not all follow that we should see them.
