Jimmy hides his scars in costume because the texture can still be seen and felt under the makeup and it’s less likely to be noticed while he’s on the job due to others not typically being close enough to notice he’s wearing makeup

Jimmy told Lizzie he burned himself while cooking which she believes due to past incidents with her disaster prone brother.

In this au Lizzie and Jimmy are siblings while Pearl and Grian are Jimmy’s roommates and close childhood friends. Pearl and Grian are not related but treat each other and Jimmy as siblings. I hope that makes

Jimmy actually got his scar while in a fight with citadel (Tango, a villain). They are arch enemies but Tango thinks they are in an enemies to lovers arc

Man it’s crazy to think how esmp was like. THE biggest thing in my life for a couple months and now it’s just something I think about every now and then. I was writing essays and fics and poetry and going in depth fleshing out my theories and ideas and now I can barely remember my biggest aus. I’ll never be able to go back but I’ll always remember living it. The euphoria realizing that wcsmp!shelby and esmp2!shelby were the same person. The collective insanity when s2!sausage brought pearl into his lore. The entire hermitcraft crossover. Watching seablings go from fanon to canon. The season one ending and how it collectively broke us. How nature wives went from basically a crack ship in season one to teased as canon in season two. I went through my poetry folder and almost everything I’ve written are poems about e!false.

i keep thinking about s2 and s1 jimmy being the same guy.... the fact that its one of the most plausable is really fun to me. bc y'know. the seablings already seemed to have inhuman lifespans and we know lizzie would lose fish traits when seperated from the ocean. its not a stretch to apply a similar logic to jimmy. of course that also opens the inevitable question of what happened to s1 lizzie because she's been reincarnated more traditionally into. a cat. but. well.

Empires Smp: Rewrite idea

hello fellow empires smp fans!! I have a question to ask you all today :3

so awhile back i started thinking about empires s1 a lot, and I honestly kept thinking back to how much I love the story and characters inside of it. But I also couldn’t help but wish some aspects and characters and stories were fleshed out more (such as the rest of the gods, Aeor Exor and Xornoths characters and personalities, the whole seablings arc, pearls land and story, Gems character, etc etc) and I thought to myself “why don’t I make a rewrite?”

and so in my head I came up with a bunch of idea and concepts and storylines and even made some art! But i do wanna turn it into more than just that, specifically I wanna make it into an ao3 fic. Problem is that I’m still on the fench if I should commit to it or not, so I’m asking you all if I should do it or not.

to be clear, while I will be add and changing a lot of things, the overall story and the way things play out will mostly stay the same. And I’m not gonna spoil all of my ideas here if I do make it, but to mention some of the changes and additions;

Shelby comes into the picture a lot earlier

there is a couple of original characters (they’re mostly all side characters but some are important :))

the gods of old have ALOT more focus and time put into them

Pearl’s arc is heavily based off of Sausage’s S2 lore

Xornoth has a bit more of a backstory and personality ;))

I added some people from the rest of the mcyt scope (hermitcraft, the life series to be exact, and none of them are really main characters but their important :3)

Scott and Jimmy have a little storyline together (it’s nothing romantic but it is sorta sad)

Sausage and Katherine are siblings (the reason they run different kingdoms will be explained tho dw ;))

The Scott angst will get turned up to 11 real quick…

Joey is less horny (you could claim that it’s out of character but me and Xornoth cannot handle it ok?)

There’s a lot more changes and tweaks but again I don’t wanna show all my cards just yet ;))

So I ask again, what do you guys think??? Should I make this rewrite or is it not worth it to commit??? Let me know what you think, I’d love to hear your thoughts!!!! (Also if you’ve read this far, there is two character sheets I made below the poll, have a lovely day ^_^)

rewatching sausages empires s2 ep 42 again and im am still truly SO normal about this interaction between Blood Sausage and Shelby???

sausage: “the lost empire joey? i havent heard that name in centuries”

shubble: “well, he’s not lost anymore”

because something i will ALWAYS maintain is that a major theme in season 1 is “Lost, then Found, then Lost Again”

joey, obviously, and the Lost Empire, and how its once again lost to the world during the end

the Seablings, having forgotten each other, then remembering after lizzie eats the Ocean Orb, then the codfather runs and lizzie loses her memories again at the end

scott and xornoth, and how in the end scott had to kill both of them* for the sake of the world

shrub, who lost her home, then managed to build a new one, but then it burns in the aftermath of the explosion

time and again, things lost to time and destruction are recovered, only to be lost once more during the events of the Rapture

and so im soooooooooooo normal about “he’s not lost anymore” i prommy

*i have my own thoughts abt scotts afterlife but thats not the point of the post

Headcanons I need to put onto paper

1. The Overgrown -> Chromia

How? Why??? Well. When the rapture happened the Overgrown burned to the ground. But interestingly enough fire is a important tool to forests. So after a year or two new flowers began to grow in the fertile soil. As time went on the people of the Overgrown left the valley’s they once called home but in pouches on their belts they carried the rich soil. And eventually in the plains biome the start a settlement, known throughout the world for it’s colours and flowers known as Chromia.

And if they also accidentally carried the spirit of their ancient queen with them in that soil no one knows.

2. Mezalea -> Tumble Town

Although Tumble Town is dull and relatively small it has its roots in grand colourful buildings. And if you looked in certain corners you’d see terracotta speckled with chipped dyes. They’re avoidant and denial tendencies also carried on to the modern day. In the dry season you could find the lone historian walking quietly around the quarry walls looking for something.

3. S2 Pix knows more then he’s letting on.

About what? ABOUT EVERYTHING. Sure it could be because he’s the Lore Guy™️ but I choose to believe that he remembers something about a bygone era. In empires we’ve already had a history with amnesia (Looking at you Seablings & False). He knows something sure he might be just a random archeologist who’s decided to be the sole one responsible for an entire continent’s worth of very complicated history. I’m just saying he’s very mysterious.

4. Between s1 & s2 there was a long dark ages

And s2 is only just coming out of the era of blank. (Much to the historian’s displeasure there’s only like 10 sources of post rapture documents.)

The Grimlands were the hub for technological innovation and when it was destroyed, infinite amounts of knowledge was lost.

I miss how together everything felt and, like, I liked how much story was in there

I get everyone wanting to do their own thing in s2 but it just feels too divided? and also like there's nothing going on

also, this is specifically a me problem but I'm not enjoying the toy bit with Jimmy specifically </3 idk why but it's not hitting

with s1 we had the seablings and the cod alliance, the wither rose alliance, whatever Joey and Shrub was doing, it was really fun and I liked the drama between the various kingdoms
