last thing im gonna say on the homestuck pilot for now but. while i understand people saying "they announced this to distract from the unoffiical homestuck collection drama!!" i think considering it was announced by spindlehorse at a convention makes that kind of unlikely? personally i feel like the timing means either a) gio knew that some kind of big announcement was happening and wanted to get his word out ahead of time, or more likely b) hussie was trying to acquire the unoffiical homestuck collection in preparation for the pilot and the fact the news broke the day before the announcement is just a crazy coincidence.

either way judging by fandom response i think the timing is actually driving more attention to the UHC stuff instead of distracting from it so. if it was intentional they failed emgmke.

i dont know anything about hazbin hotel but i do think its funny seeing homestuck fans acting like vivziepop is gonna ruin it and make it edgier or whatever. like its homestuck. its already steeped in edgy 2009 humor. we do not have a moral highground here bro.
