giggling kicking my feet blushing madly
#fun fact it did indeed take me until the literal end of railway to actually invest anything into train defenses.#both bc of the scoundrel's stupid railway board comp and also bc i wanted luxuries first#i only upgraded it because i realized it was what scales dangerous checks when traveling along the railway.#the scoundrel LITERALLY only invested in safety measures out of its own self interest#yin-thoughts#fallen london#technically speaking sometimes there's choices too cruel even for me and i do indeed go the heroic route#that's why the scoundrel has an occasional (admittedly usually actively dying) sense of empathy/remorse#it's all so i can (rp-wise) justify being a stupid soft rpg player in a playthrough that's otherwise pretty much purely a villain run#like at the end of evolution with the naturalist. if the scoundrel had control over their own account they'd go hanged man#but bc i got attached to him it's just scoundrel lore that they're a guy who sucks and occasionally does one (1) good thing per month#before immediately going back to being evil#they've really evolved over the course of me playing FL. it's been a delight to play and hopefully a delight for yall to witness#scoundrelventures

Thinking about when i studied counselling at uni and they straight up told us that cbt has negative outcomes for many people and shouldn't become a standard for care, all talking therapies seem to have the same efficacy as each other, many psychologists think therapy is ineffective altogether, serotonin and dopamine don't work like that we just act like they do because pills that prevent their reuptake help people*, all diagnoses are a socially created (and enforced) map that shifts and changes with time and culture, and any one person could have been diagnosed and treated differently by myriad different doctors based on luck and social factors
Shame its practitioners don't think so
#anti psychiatry#when it came time to pick a master's degree it turned out every single professionally recognised course was pseudoscience#so i have to choose between practising actual bullshit or not becoming a proper psychotherapist#their rationale: it doesn't make a difference what the therapy is because it doesn't matter#also good luck trying to get into the mental health sphere if you're not able to pay £££#so many people get into it as a hobby after retiring from middle class positions. which I'm sure doesn't contribute to its problems at all#like they taught us to formulate our own approaches and beliefs and then told us we're only getting a job if we take up someone else's#training is gonna suck shit yall#like. i see some efficacy and potential in it that's why i want in. but... it's like being trained super well on food hygeine and safety and#then becoming a line cook at the filthiest restaurant and learning everywhere in town is the same. yknow?#i think therapy is useful. i also think it's not for everyone. after all that's what they taught me and they used evidence to do it#anyway

having been told by my employers that any of our tools or parts could be useful weapons in a pinch paired with having watched a lot of Bones recently has resulted in me picking up the gear shift rod i install and testing the weight in my hand before going "how would they figure out that this was the murder weapon? it's such a weird shape, the fact that it's got a bunch of weird curves and angles along the length would mess with their height and angle estimates if they were thinking about a straight weapon... one side has threads and the other has a flat edge with a hole which would throw them off on what every day items have either of those aspects-" and i don't think these are normal thoughts people generally have at their jobs
#my employers saying this to us btw was during some safety training thing#where they were telling us what to do if someone ever came into the factory with like. an actual gun. or just with the desire to kill peopl#and they were like 'try and get out if you can or hide if you can't and in the worst case scenario grab any of the heavy tools/parts#and fight back but only if you have to!!!!'#and my fave coworker and i immediately upon returning to work after the meeting went 'this would make a good/terrible weapon' about#everything#and both agreed our best course of action at that point would be to grab the crowbar on our way to hide/run#anyway. i think about this too much at work.#i promise im not gonna kill anyone but like they weren't kidding there are a LOT of fascinating things to kill people with#that you wouldn't even think about#im kinda way more shocked now that bones DOESN'T have an episode where someone gets killed in an assembly factory by just some#weird random part that happens to be metal and heavy and good enough to swing#shh ac

i will shut up abt this i promise but like. the concept of being in a stable safe mutually loving whatever relationship is INSANE . like how can you ever feel bad about yourself or wounded or whatever again. it’s like a superpower or somethi ng. <- doesn’t know what she’s taking abt bc she’s never experienced it or the absence of it after having it merely the negative space of it and is filling in the gaps w logic or something. but it’s INSANE to me. like of course i feel like shit about myself i am catcrumb unloved.jpg!
#purrs#imbeing insane about it i know it’s not that simple / reductive and i will still feel like shit abt myself once im in a relationshp (if i#get to be ♥️) and there are lots of other legitimate reasons to feel shit agtbyiurself. but it’s like no ficking wonder i feel inadequate i#am a 24 year old who lives at home and has never held a hand or whatever next to two 50sometjinf year old married men with pets and phds. of#course i am going to feel inadequate and stupid and lonely. like i canttttt 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💀💀💀💀💀💀💀 and th w worst part is you can’t just go out into#the world saying that and looking for that it has to find you so i will not join any dating apps or whatever but i don’t fucking go anywhere#so im not going to meet anyone and i knowi am so young and stupid and just having a horrible day that is reminding me of horrors. but the#way i am mentally shoving my whole fist in my mouth. OF COURSE I FEEL LIKE SHIT I DONT HAVE A LIFE PARTNER!!!!!!!!!!!! I DONT HAVE THAT#SAFETY AND STABILITY AND TRUST AND UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!!!!!!!! AND I NEVER HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#delete later#like this is what makes me crazy abt parents and kids too and whyi don’t think ihave kids. bc i think (and i know this is wrong / unhealthy)#it is a primal human need to be mutually someone else’s number 1 person and when you have kids it’s like you’re gonna love your partner more#than the kids and then the kids (read: me) watch that and get fucked up over it. but also that could just be me reacting to the UNSPEAKABLE#psychological damage of being a twin. which again is ridiculous bc it’s n out like abuse i just had to share something with someone else si#since before i was born and ofc there was more like actually kind of abusive stuff on top of it LOL but that aside. idk what im saying i#just feel so crazy. the amount of composure it takes me every day to not start SCREAMING with frustration and envy when i see ppl being#RIGHTFULLY DESERVEDLY visibly confident and loved. like ok valentines grinch go sit in the drainage pond forever please. but it’s so crazy#like how are you supposed to go through the world unaware of how much love you’re missing out on because you’re young and then you realize I#it and then somehow you miss the train and you are scared you are going to d*e alone ♥️ im normal

Navigating Food Safety Training in Spanish
In the diverse and dynamic landscape of the food industry, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of food safety practices is a universal priority. This blog delves into the critical realm of food safety training in Spanish, exploring the significance of obtaining a food handler certification in Spanish and the impact of specialized Spanish food handling courses.
Unlocking Access with Food Handler Certification in Spanish
The importance of food handler certification transcends language barriers. Recognizing the linguistic diversity in the food industry, the availability of certification courses in Spanish becomes a game-changer. It not only meets regulatory requirements but also ensures that individuals responsible for food handling truly grasp the intricacies of safety protocols.
Navigating the Landscape of Food Safety Training in Spanish
Food safety is a collective responsibility, and effective communication is key to fostering a culture of compliance. Food safety training in Spanish caters to a significant portion of the workforce, facilitating a deeper understanding of hygiene practices, proper food handling techniques, and the nuances of maintaining a safe environment in Spanish-speaking kitchens.
The All-Encompassing Spanish Food Handling Course
Spanish food handling courses go beyond the basics, offering a holistic approach to education. These courses cover a spectrum of topics, including hygiene standards, temperature control, cross-contamination prevention, and the latest regulatory guidelines—all presented in the Spanish language. The aim is not just certification but a thorough comprehension of the principles that safeguard both consumers and the industry.
Key Features of Spanish Food Handling Courses:
Language Accessibility: Conducted entirely in Spanish, these courses ensure that participants can fully engage with the material, grasping complex concepts with ease and confidence.
Cultural Relevance: Spanish food handling courses recognize the cultural context of the learners. This ensures that the training is not only linguistically accessible but also resonates with the cultural practices prevalent in Spanish-speaking culinary environments.
Interactive Learning Modules: To enhance engagement and knowledge retention, these courses often incorporate interactive elements such as quizzes, scenarios, and multimedia content, making the learning experience more dynamic and effective.
Why Invest in Food Safety Training in Spanish?
Legal Compliance: In regions with a significant Spanish-speaking workforce, providing training in their native language is not just good practice but often a legal requirement.
Enhanced Communication: Effective communication is at the heart of food safety. Training in Spanish ensures that instructions, guidelines, and best practices are clearly understood, reducing the risk of misunderstandings that could compromise safety.
Cultivating a Safety Culture: By making training accessible to all, regardless of language, businesses contribute to fostering a culture of safety, responsibility, and professionalism in their kitchens.
Conclusion: Empowering Safety through Linguistic Inclusivity
In a globalized culinary landscape, linguistic inclusivity is paramount. Food safety training in Spanish, coupled with food handler certification in Spanish, not only meets regulatory demands but also reflects a commitment to the well-being of both consumers and those working in the food industry. By embracing diversity in language, we fortify the foundations of a safer, more resilient food service community.

the whole opposition of ideals between those two, too. he says it doesn't matters, and that striking from the shadows would have ensured her safety and not put her in needless risk, while being a mercy that the target would die painlessly and quickly. but even before kat says anything it's obvious that's not as important to her. the dude didn't want a peaceful death, and he died fighting and knowing his work meant something - what she says she hopes is how she dies when she eventually dies.
#» out of character — ⌜main sup irl.⌟#i love that you have two characters with very different backgrounds trained by the same person#and to see how those backgrounds shape who they are?#kat didn't live like talon. she didn't stuggle with survival the same way he did.#of course he values safety more than she does.#of course she values having a purpose and working for something greater#mel reads the katarina comic#the fact she says she hopes her father had that in the end got me tho#kajsnfkjasndf#i'll save the commentary about him to a single post tho since that goes against what i had previously hc'd for her

I am once again getting emotional about Eliot Spencer and the ways he both gives and receives love.
#leverage#mine#eliot spencer my beloved#watching the first season of redemption is just an exercise in finding OT3 Easter eggs I s2g#and honestly just general soft family moments for everyone#but lbr I have PRIORITIES#anyway today it was just like a couple throwaway lines and details that are making me emotional#for example: when breanna is trying to get Parker to let her get out of the van??#her big argument is that hardison left the van#and rather than saying the team made him practice and train too (or something along those lines)#instead what Parker actually says is#‘yeah and it was a long time before ELIOT would let him open those van doors’#and I’m very emo about the universal understanding that Eliot is the only one with that authority#cuz I get that keeping everyone alive is Eliot’s whole job#but Breannas readiness is clearly up for discussion by the whole team#Sophie and Parker and Eliot and Hardison all give input on how ready she is#but Parker specifying that it was Eliot ALONE that made the decision about Alec’s safety/readiness#really implies an extra level of protectiveness that goes significantly beyond practicality/professional concern#and not only that-it also says that every other member of the team completely acknowledges and respects Eliot’s over-protectiveness#and just accepts accepts it as a matter of course#because it is a truth universally acknowledged that Parker and hardison are the exception to EVERY Eliot Spencer rule#because they’re in LOVE#The other tiny detail that I guess I noticed but hadn’t done the math on was the boxing bag in the new headquarters#Alex hardison is a very caring and loving person and one of his favorite live languages is NESTING#that man creates homes for his loved ones wherever he goes#and you can literally measure his level of intimacy with his partners by how specialized he makes a space for them#and like. This was very obvious by season 5 with the brewpub#but I love the ways they snuck it into redemption too#for Parker it was the whole conversation about the vents he made for Parker at home#and for Eliot it was putting a punching bag in the middle of the very beautiful work/bar space he created

Naval Maritime Academy
15+ years of experience at sea followed a decade-long teaching career.
Naval Maritime Academy
Capt Cusrow Mincher Homji
15 Years of Sea Experiences as Captain
Faculty In Naval Maritime Academy (NAMAC)
The joys of teaching Mariners
It's like being on a ship! An early morning wakeup call, a refreshing bath, donning freshly ironed clothes and voila, ready for navigation through the streets of South Mumbai, on passage to the Naval Maritime Academy , deep within the wooded lands of the defence area at the farthest southern tip of Mumbai.
Arriving at the gates of NAMAC one gets welcomed into a pristine estate located in silvan surroundings, much like a Gurukul of old, outfitted with modern equipment and training aids.
Amidst cheerful good morning greetings of staff and students alike one enters the faculty room. The banter here reminds one of times spent on ships with colleagues amidst laughter, the joy of everyday work, and a general bonhomie.
It's 0815 then and off we go to our classrooms to get things ready for our students; a motley set of boys and girls, wanna be sailors, also men and women already professional seafarers. Some come for new learning others for refreshers.
Always a joy to meet fellow sailors; such fun to be able to transfer one's knowledge and know how to young and old alike. A most satisfying job this; teaching at NAMAC. giving back to the community. More a rendering of service than a business venture! And therein lies the joy, the feeling that one is part of an intuition, one that is steeped in welfare as opposed to a mere institute dishing out only information!
The greatest joy lies in the learning we gain from teaching and that smile of happiness on the faces of students as they successfully pass out of the gates of NAMAC with lasting memories.
