Jason's lips moved softly against yours as he kissed you. Jason was a gentle lover, contrary to what many people may believe. When it comes to you, Jason always took his time to make sure everything was perfect. He never rushed into things. Weather it was just placing a hand on the small of your back when you were out in public or the way he tucked your hair behind your ear when he moved in to kiss you; everything was always thought out with Jason.
The two of you had been dating for a little while now, and you had to say that he was your world. He put so much effort into it. The two of you would often stroll together hand in hand, walking through Gotham's parks as the leaves shifted from green to a golden orange, or you would spend the cold nights cuddled up on his bed as something played quietly in the background. You loved to listen to him talk. To find every detail of his features, and uncover them like an archeologist. The freckles lining his nose. The dimple on his left cheek when he smiles. The way his eyes lit up with this gorgeous glint when the topic wandered to something he was particularly interested in. How he would become animated when showing you his bikes. It was safe to say that you were utterly in love with Jason. And he was equally as in love with you.
However the two of you had decided to keep your relationship a secret. for now, atleast. With Jason not only being in the public eye, but also being a vigilante, he didn't want you to get dragged into something you didn't need to be part of. But also...his brothers were rather...prying...and he didn't want them knowing more than he was willing to tell them. So, to stop that from happening the two of you agreed not to tell anyone until you were both comfortable.
But, as the two of you were hiding out in the cave, that plan was cut short. Too captured by the feeling of each other, you and jason failed to hear the sound of the footsteps echoing through the cave, and didn't notice that there was someone watching until they gave an awkward clear of their throat.
Pulling away from each other quickly, Jason's eyes widened as he looked up to find Bruce standing a few feet away. He tried to compose himself quickly. "Bruce- i...we..."
Bruce raised an eyebrow. He was rather amused at his son's attempt to be nonchalant. "Care to explain?"
Jason fumbled some more over his words, unable to hide the red flush that appeared on his face. It was rather cute, if you had to describe it. Eventually, he let out a soft breath. "Father....y/n is my girlfriend."
Bruce let out a hum. "I see." he took a step closer. "and how long has this been going on?"
"A few months..." Jason responded, lacing your fingers with his. You gave his hand a reassuring squeeze. "Bruce....you have to understand that I love her very much and I- I don't care if you approve or not because-"
A small smile appeared on Bruce's lips as he watched his son ramble protectively over you. He could tell he was head over heels for you . "Jason." He said, grabbing the boy's attention. "Its okay. I'm not going to stop you from dating. I'm happy for you."
"...you are?" Jason's eyebrows pinched together.
"Course I am."
Jason thought for a moment. "Good. Because I am too. I'm sorry i didn't tell you....we just thought it would be easier for us."
"It's alright. I'm not mad. Although....i can't say the same for when your brothers find out."
"Oh god...you cannot tell them! Please don't tell them!"
the older man just grinned, moving towards the door. "I'll leave you two alone then." he said. his footsteps, that you should have heard earlier, echoed through the room before the stopped and he reappeared. "And no more kissing."

Oh I remember seeing Trask and Nathaniel! Those two where what originally drew me to your art. Is there anything else you can say about their story or dynamic?
Aw so happy you like them! Their world is a giant labyrinth-machine, always shifting and they are trying to find a way out or a safer zone since no one's ever heard of anyone making it out of it.
Nathan (left) often looks angry but its just because hes always focused on something else, loves puzzles and riddles so hes obsessed with trying to understand the labyrinth. Very pessimistic, doesnt believe theres an escape but if there were one he wants to know for curiosity sake.
Trask has trouble remembering their life in the labyrinth, Nathan finds them along his path and ends up following him, helping when theres need to fight other ppl or the creatures from the mechanism. Trask is very impulsive and quick to rash decisions, in big part from frustration over having lost their memory.
Nathan is scared of having them around but is more scared of continuing alone. Trask is staying with him because he seems to know where to go so they'll protect him until he's no longer useful.

Getting You Alone Isn’t Easy
summary: two reckless lovers, one ill-timed call, and zero chance of stopping
warnings: suggestive but not explicit
a/n: the length of time it took me to decide on a title for this was painful
word count: 1.5k
-
You’re draped over Alexia, straddling her in the faint, golden light that sneaks through the blinds. Her hands grip your hips in that familiar way, like you’re the last thing keeping her from floating off. You’re gasping, breathless, clinging to the taut warmth of her body beneath you as though the world is ending and this is your only way to stay grounded. Her hands, usually gentle, are digging in hard enough to leave bruises, but she’s sweet like that, knows exactly when you need to feel it. You can almost picture the bruises they’ll leave behind, thumbprints like violet ink smudged across your skin, each one a reminder that she was here, and that she wanted you badly enough to leave a mark.
It’s been a day, one of those long ones that started with a sun-blinded hangover, progressed into a searing headache, and then—once you forced yourself to actually acknowledge the calls you missed last night—moved rapidly toward near apocalyptic levels of panic.
Somewhere between the drink you had to “take the edge off” and the fourth one you drank without even thinking about it, Alexia texted you, and it felt like a solution, or maybe a distraction, though those two things are the same to you most of the time.
So here you are, in the thick of it, your bodies wrapped around each other, your mind slipping into that strange, dreamlike state where it feels like your skin isn’t your own. Everything’s heightened—her touch, her scent, the whisper of her breath on your neck. You’re right at the edge, teetering, and then—
Your phone rings.
Of course it fucking does.
At first, you ignore it. The vibrating hum is muffled against the sheets, barely noticeable above your own heartbeat, but then it rings again, louder this time, insistent. It’s like a drill sergeant at dawn, determined to ruin whatever peace you’d managed to find. You freeze, eyes half-closed, but Alexia’s hands don’t loosen. She’s looking up at you with an expression that’s half bemused, half annoyed, as if she’s only just managed to convince herself that you’re here, and now you’re about to ruin it with some petty, buzzing bit of reality.
You almost get through it, on the cusp letting it go to voicemail or hurling the damn thing into the bottom of your Birkin where it belongs. But something in you—a survival instinct, maybe—forces you to reach for it, fumbling as you do so. Alexia’s eyes follow your hand, then flick back up to yours with an exasperated look that says, Really? Now?
You manage to grab it without rolling entirely off her, though it’s a close call. Her hands move down to your waist, still holding you in place as you glance at the screen, and of course, it’s George. It’s always George. You swear he has some kind of sixth sense, an uncanny ability to detect the exact moment you’ve slipped into some semblance of happiness, so he can yank you back with some catastrophe or another. The man is a walking interruption.
“Don’t,” Alexia murmurs, pulling you back to the matter at hand, her voice soft but firm, her hands slipping up to your ribs with a kind of slow, determined patience. But you know better. If you don’t answer now, he’ll only call back five more times, and each time, he’ll sound more panicked, until he finally leaves you a voice note that’s somehow worse than the call itself.
“I have to,” you mutter, as you answer, attempting to clear your throat and sound like you weren’t just seconds away from giving in to everything she was doing to you.
“Hello?” you say, trying and failing to keep the breathlessness out of your voice.
George’s voice crackles through the speaker, shrill and brimming with that particular brand of theatrical urgency agents reserve for “crises.” He sounds faintly nasal, the sort of voice you imagine would belong to a man with an allergy to anything fun. You imagine him sitting in his cold, grey office somewhere in Soho, every surface immaculate and white, his expression permanently fixed into a grimace of perpetual disappointment.
“You need to sit down,” he says, voice pitched in that “I’m barely holding it together” tone that never actually means anything good.
“I am sitting,” you manage, though it comes out sounding more like a gasp than anything else, because Alexia—God bless her—is now trailing her lips along the column of your throat, completely unbothered by the fact that you’re very much occupied now. In fact, you’re convinced she’s doing this on purpose, her eyes meeting yours with that devilish glint that says she’s fully aware of what she’s doing. You pull back and give her a look—part warning, part exasperation—but she only grins, slowly, like she’s daring you to keep up the charade.
George doesn’t miss a beat. “There are photos,” he says, each syllable dripping with an ominous weight that would make anyone else think he was delivering news of a tragedy.
“Photos?” you ask, as Alexia’s hand slips a little higher, her fingers just grazing the edge of your panties. You’re barely holding it together, biting down hard on your lip to keep from making a sound. “George, there are always photos. What are you on about?”
He sighs, the kind of exasperated sigh he reserves for when he’s forced to explain the intricacies of your own life to you. “Not just any photos,” he says, voice dropping to a whisper that somehow makes everything sound worse. “These are… explicit”
“Explicit?” you repeat, your voice catching because Alexia’s lips are trailing across your collarbone now, her fingers dangerously close to places that make it impossible to sound remotely professional. “Define explicit, George”
He pauses, a beat of silence so thick with hesitation you can practically see his nervous, tight-lipped expression. “You and Alexia. On that yacht. Full-on… everything. Let’s just say someone with a very long-range lens took a rather extensive interest in your… activities”
It takes a second for the words to register, but when they do, it’s like being doused in cold water. You’re suddenly hyper-aware of everything—the sweat on your skin, Alexia’s fingers toying with you, her mouth now having moved to the swell of your exposed breast. You can’t tell if you’re more annoyed or amused by the fact that, somehow, your most private moments have once again become public property.
Alexia looks up at you once more, eyes glinting with something between curiosity and enjoyment, as if she can tell exactly what George is saying and finds the whole thing hilarious.
“So you’re telling me,” you say, trying to sound casual, though it’s hard with Alexia’s hands and mouth all over you, “that someone out there’s publishing wildlife documentaries of my sex life?”
“Don’t be flippant,” George snaps, though his voice cracks a little, like he’s barely holding it together. “This is serious. The Daily Mail already has them. And they’re… well, they’re explicit. The kind of thing they’d plaster on the front page if they could get away with it”
For a moment, you consider the insanity of it all—your life, reduced to some tawdry tabloid spread, the kind of thing boring nosey housewives read in supermarket queues. You imagine the headlines, the breathless, shocked tones they’d use to describe “the scandal.” Never mind the fact that you’re not the first celebrity to get caught like this, nor will you be the last. But still, it stings in that strange, twisted way fame always does, a reminder that your life isn’t really your own.
“I’m sorry, George,” you say, barely stifling a moan as Alexia’s hand moves just right, making it almost impossible to keep up the conversation. “But I don’t exactly have a solution for you right now”
George lets out a strangled noise. “Well, you bloody well better come up with one. Unless you want the world to know what you look like without your clothes on. Which, I might add, is not exactly… career-friendly”
You stifle a laugh, more out of habit than anything else. Alexia’s fingers are moving with that slow, calculated patience she knows drives you mad, and you can feel your resolve slipping. “Look, George,” you say, your voice strained, “I’ll call you back. After I… handle things”
“What? You can’t just hang up on me!” he practically shrieks, but you’re already pressing ‘end call’ and tossing the phone aside.
The phone lands back somewhere on the bed, George’s panicked voice cutting off abruptly. For a moment, there’s silence, and then Alexia lets out a low, throaty laugh, her eyes alight with amusement. She reaches her free hand up, trailing her fingers along your jaw, and there’s something wicked in her smile that makes you forget the world outside the bedroom.
“Where were we?” you murmur, leaning down to capture her lips in a kiss, slow and lingering, the kind of kiss that makes you forget everything else.
“Right here,” she whispers, her voice soft but possessive, and you can’t help but smile as she pulls you back down, your bodies tangling once more as you lose yourself in her warmth.

Hardersson x Teen!Reader
Fridolina Rolfö x Teen!Reader
Summary: After the preseason against Barcelona
Someone is watching you.
It's nothing you can prove, of course. It's nothing you really care that much about either.
You've just managed to draw against Barcelona in a preseason friendly. Of course there would be someone watching. A lot of someones actually but you don't find yourself minding too much as you head over to your parents.
They're on the far side of the pitch, waving to the very few Spanish Bayern fans that have come out to watch the team play.
You wiggle your way between them and Magda's arm automatically comes to rest on your shoulder. She angles her face towards you slightly, a smile on her face as she presses a quick kiss to your hairline.
Pernille takes your hand on the other side and you smile at her, leaning your head against her shoulder.
It feels good to demonstrate your skills.
In front of your new teammates. In front of your new manager. In front of Barcelona, to make them worry when you're on the pitch, to show them they aren't as bulletproof as the fans think they are.
But, right now, all you can do is smile as your sign things for the very few Bayern fans that have come over to watch your team play for them.
"You did very well today," Pernille says to you, squeezing your hand softly.
"Enough for a lamb?"
"You know the rules," Pernille replies with practiced exasperation," You'll have to really impress. Show me you can really care for one."
You huff, putting on a bit of a show.
This is a practiced dance between you and Pernille, a more playful back and forth now that you've moved to Germany. Pernille pretends that she's more opposed to getting a sweet lamb than she actually is and you pretend to be more annoyed than you actually are that you're being refused.
"Oh come on, Pernille!" Magda says from your other side," I really think she's deserved it!"
Magda's also apart of all this teasing. She backs you up, insists that you've already proven yourself despite having never had a pet in your life. The extent of your animal caring abilities is filling up the bird feeder in the garden.
Of course, you've also got that little binder you made a few years ago with how to take care of lambs and sheep and when to sheer them and what to feed them and how you can make them happy.
Pernille had made you make it after she realised you were serious about raising a lamb for yourself.
You update it every so often, just to show her that this isn't something that you've forgotten about.
Arms close around your waist and you shriek as you're lifted into the air.
You can hear Pernille and Magda laugh as you're hoisted up and you flail your legs around when you're airborne for too long.
"Frido!" You shriek," Let me down!"
Frido shakes you, using her height difference against you before unceremoniously dumping you onto the ground.
You roll onto your back, panting with a smile as you look up at her. "That was mean."
"What has the world come to?" She asks no one in particular," That an aunt can't pick up and shake her little niece anymore?"
"I'm not little."
She grins down at you. "I remember you before your growth spurt," She says," You'll always be my little niece."
Frido offers you a hand.
You take it and pull her down.
She shrieks at the sudden force of your pull and falls onto the grass next to you.
You laugh, letting Pernille help you up and dust the dirt off your shirt.
Frido does the same with her own clothes, flicking a stray piece of grass at you that you bat away easily.
"Good game," She says, ruffling your hair," You had us on our toes."
"Just..." You glance behind you, feeling that same prickly feeling of eyes on your back," Just wanted to impress."
"Well, you certainly did that." Frido leans closer, like she's about to tell you a secret. "But I don't think it's just on who you wanted to watch you."
She jerks her chin over your shoulder and you follow her gaze.
Alexia Putellas is by the bench, talking and gesturing wildly over at you to the new Barcelona manager. You don't quite remember his name but you know what he looks like and even from this far of a distance away, you know he's looking straight at you.
"Best hope Bayern put a big price on her release clause," Frido says to your mothers and you feel Magda freeze behind you.
Her mouth dry, she speaks. "What?"
"Just saying," Frido laughs," A performance like that? In preseason? At a club she's just moved to? You and I both know she's a talent. Alexia doesn't really enjoy talents like that outside of Barcelona."
Magda pulls your back against her front, arms hanging over your shoulders. "They can't have her. She's a minor. They need our permission."
"She'll be eighteen soon," Frido reminds Magda.
"Still. They can't force her to come. I won't let them. I just got her back."
"We just got her back," Pernille corrects.
"Besides," You laugh," Momma won't even let me get a lamb yet. I don't think she'll be too happy sending me off to Spain."
Frido laughs, ruffling your hair again. "I think you'll find Barcelona can be quite persuasive when they need to be. How else do you think we got Ewa with us?"
"Dumb luck?"
Frido gasps dramatically. "You know what, young lady? Come here!"
She reaches for you and you duck out of the way, sprinting across the pitch out of her reach.
"You're getting old!" You shout over your shoulder, ducking and weaving through players and staff alike. "Aren't you meant to be a professional athlete?"
You jump over a crate of drinks as Frido trips over them.
You laugh, leaving her in the dirt as another hand reaches for your own.
"Aren't you tired?" Ingrid asks you," You've just played ninety minutes."
You know Ingrid quite well considering you've never played on a team with her.
Pernille and Frido have introduced you two a lot over the years. She's nice to see, someone who is not family but just as nice as them.
"I'm never too tired to humiliate Frido," You answer, turning to look back as Pernille helps Frido up while Magda howls with laughter.
Ingrid rolls her eyes fondly at you, brushing a few stray strands of hair out of your face.
"Have you met Esmee before? I can't remember."
Either way, Ingrid introduces you to Esmee, who seems nice enough, if a little shy. You can imagine you and her getting on once you're both settled with each other.
"Of course, you know Mapi a bit and this is Aitana. Aitana, this is y/n. She's Magda and Pernille's daughter, Frido's niece."
"Daughter?" The look Aitana wears on her face is one you're always used to when regarding your parentage.
"Adopted," You confirm with a nod. It's always better to explain now than have to deal with the awkward questions as people try to tread around the minefield that's your family situation.
She nods once before speaking. "Do you want to swap shirts?"
"Oh! Er..." You glance behind you where your family is (thankfully) keeping their distance. Still within earshot but not enough to invite themselves into the conversation.
Both of your mothers stick their thumbs up at you.
"Yeah...okay, then."
Like you thought, you and Esmee do get on. You reckon that you wearing a Barcelona shirt (Aitana's Barcelona shirt, you think in the back of your mind) must have settled her a bit. Familiar people with the one unfamiliar one wearing a very familiar colours.
She's nice and speaks well and you almost forget about the prickling feeling of someone watching you until that someone is right behind you.
The little circle you've found yourself in opens up and Alexia Putellas slides into the now empty spot next to you.
Magda moves to approach as well but Pernille holds her back by the back of the shirt.
"Pernille-"
"Let her deal with it," Pernille says," However she wants to do it. We can't coddle her for her whole life."
Magda pouts. "We can try."
"Magda," Pernille continues," She's much more capable than you like to think."
You hope that your eyes aren't as wide in shock as you think they are. it would be embarrassing for Alexia Putellas to remember that expression as the one you wore when you first met her.
"You had a good game," She says to you and you feel your throat go dry.
You force words out anyway. "Th-Thank you."
"A great game, actually," Alexia continues," You're very talented."
"Thank you."
You feel like a broken record, incapable of saying nothing but the same thing over and over again.
"How long have you got on your Bayern contract?"
"Two-Two years."
"Two years? Not three? Or four? For someone of your talent..."
"Oh, er, well, it's meant to finish the same time as my mothers' do."
"Harder and Eriksson's kid, aren't you?"
"And Frido's niece," Ingrid puts in and Alexia nods.
"I thought so. She's never had anything but compliments for you. You used to play for Arsenal as well, didn't you?"
"Yes."
"And you joined Sweden for their Euro qualifiers as well. It's nice to see that young talent is being fostered so well."
You laugh a little awkwardly. "Oh, well, I'm not really anything special."
The look Alexia gives you makes it clear she thinks differently. She doesn't refute your claim though, just purses her lips in thought.
"Barcelona has always been good at noticing young talent and putting our faith in them."
"Oh?"
She smiles at you. "Just something to think about. Have you got the same managers as your mothers?"
You nod. "Yeah, Morsa...Er...Magda and I have the same person."
"Excellent." She claps a hand down onto your shoulder. "You should probably warn them about something coming their way soon after that performance today. I hope to see you on the pitch again soon."
With that, Alexia Putellas walks away, right back down the tunnels and you're left hopelessly looking back at her.
You turn back to the little group around you, a group that your family has finally joined again.
"Sorry...What just happened?"
Frido laughs, a casual arm flung over your shoulder.
"That was Alexia speak for 'Barcelona will be trying to buy you from Bayern soon'."
Magda swears. "For fuck's sake!"

PLEASEE dad Rafe where the reader is like a Pilates mom trophy wife, and she and Rafe have kids and UGHHHHHHHH traditional rich family the kind Rafe would have.
⭐️i love making little moodboards for this theme so disregard if you dont like it, but i hope you enjoy! ⭐️
rafe pulls up in the blacked-out suv, the engine a low, contented hum as he steps out, shoulders squared, exuding that effortless confidence that still sends a spark through you. the sun dips lower in the sky, casting golden rays over the sprawling lawn as the kids burst out, laughing and calling back to him, backpacks slung carelessly over their shoulders. they race each other toward the house, shouting over who gets the last snack in the pantry, and rafe just shakes his head, watching with that quiet pride that’s become second nature to him.
you’re settled by the pool, lounging on one of the cushioned chairs with your favorite oversized sunglasses perched on your nose, a fresh iced latte in hand. you’re fresh from pilates, dressed in a crisp white athleisure set that rafe has already told you he loves—a little too much, given the look he’s giving you right now. you pull your sunglasses down, meeting his gaze with a smile that’s just for him.
he saunters over, hands sliding into the pockets of his perfectly tailored pants. the sun catches in his hair, bringing out the few strands of blonde that the summer hadn’t quite left behind. there’s a smirk playing at the corner of his mouth, that warm gleam in his eyes, hinting at that wild edge that he still carries, even now. and it’s there, in that look, that you see how completely wrapped up in you he still is.
“hey, stranger,” you murmur, lifting your drink in a silent toast as he drops into the chair next to you, leaning close enough that you can catch his aftershave, something dark and woodsy. you see his gaze flicker over you, taking in every detail like he’s still half-surprised by the life you both built.
“missed you today,” he says, voice low and sweet. you give a playful shrug, pretending not to notice how his hand casually finds yours, warm fingers threading between yours, the way he’s always done.
you shake your head, leaning back and giving a little sigh, mock-serious. “all i did was pilates and a trip to the club, rafe,” you tease. “how’d you survive without me?”
his laugh is quiet, but you catch that glint in his eye. “barely,” he says, thumb tracing gentle circles along the side of your hand, a gesture so natural you barely even notice it anymore. he pauses, looking out at the kids, who are now a blur in the distance, likely digging around for snacks or on their way to the game room. and it’s in that moment—just the two of you with the day slipping into evening—that you feel the absolute certainty he has in this life, in the family you’ve built.
you turn to him, watching as his gaze softens, and there’s something that pulls at your heart, this deep, endless feeling he has for you, even after all these years. you’re the perfect vision of his world, a pilates-mom trophy wife, the gleaming pool and manicured lawn the backdrop to a life that’s both beautiful and grounded, something he never knew he wanted until he had it. and yet, in his gaze, it’s so clear how much he appreciates every inch of it.
“think i’m going to make something special for dinner,” you say, though you both know it’ll be the chef taking care of most of it. but the idea of you, his wife, planning out dinner like this is exactly the sort of scene he loves—a glimpse of something tender and old-fashioned, just for the two of you.
he grins, giving you that lopsided smile. “save some time for me afterward?”
“always,” you reply, resting your head on his shoulder as the sun dips low. it’s not the first time you’ve had this moment, and it won’t be the last—but that’s exactly what makes it so perfect.
he’s quiet for a moment, eyes still tracing the outline of your face before his hand slides around to the back of your neck, pulling you in close for a slow kiss. his lips press into yours with that intensity that still makes your heart race, like he’s savoring every second, every touch.
when he pulls back, his gaze is a shade darker, playful but serious all at once. he lowers his voice. “the kids aren’t here, you know.”
your heart flutters, and you bite back a smile. “they’re just inside,” you murmur, a teasing note in your voice.
“exactly. not here.” his hand drifts down your arm, sending a shiver through you as he smirks, voice dropping lower. “and, by the way… that little package you ordered just came in.” his fingers trace along your wrist, up your arm, igniting little sparks of excitement. “saw it in the bedroom.”
you feign a casual shrug, but the look in his eyes makes it impossible to keep the smile from your face. “oh? did it now?” you ask, feigning innocence. “must have slipped my mind.”
he laughs softly, his thumb brushing across your cheek as his gaze roams over you, lingering in a way that makes you feel like the only woman in the world. “you knew exactly what you were doing,” he murmurs, voice tinged with admiration and something else—something wild. he leans in, his lips just grazing your ear as he whispers, “think you could model it for me later?”
your cheeks warm, and you feel your pulse quicken, unable to hide your grin. “if you think you can keep the kids distracted…”
his smirk widens, a promise in his gaze. “i’ll figure something out,” he says, his voice filled with that familiar mischief. he presses another kiss to your lips, lingering just long enough to leave you breathless, anticipation simmering between you as the sun sinks lower, casting long shadows over the beautiful life you’ve built together.

You have been betrothed to Cragen Stark since you were children and grew up in the North preparing for the day you would become the lady of the Winterfell. Your parents visited often but remained occupied in the Riverlands.
Along the way, you and Cregan fell in love though neither of you would speak of it. Although you were to be wed, you were both shy about your feelings towards each other.
One day your mother and father return to Winterfell to visit and you greet them excitedly.
“There is a reason to our visit.” Your father says sternly as you hug your mother.
Your smile fades and they lead you to private room to speak. Your father explains that there was an offer from King Viserys to wed you to Prince Aemond Targaryen.
“What?!” You yell. “Absolutely not. Tell them no. I am to marry Cregan soon. That has always been the plan.”
“We have already agreed.” Your father states.
“You cannot marry me to that cold evil prince!” You raise your voice again in panic.
“Prince Aemond is an excellent match, my dear.” Your mother says, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder.
“But I am to be lady of Winterfell! That is what I have been preparing for my entire life!”
“Well, now you will be a princess of the realm.” Your mother says.
“I do not care to be a princess!” Tears begin to fill your eyes. “What about Cregan? We have been betrothed our entire lives. He is the sweetest man I have ever known and now you are going to ship me away from him… away from you.”
“We would join you if we could, my dear.” Your mother says softly.
“But as you know we have a duty to the Riverlands. We cannot always choose our duties in life.”
“But father please-“
“There is no negotiating.” Your father speaks over you. “We have already promised the king. You should be grateful to earn such a title.”
“…When?” Was the only word you could choke out through your increasing tears.
“We will escort you there tomorrow.” Your father says.
“Tomorrow?!” You cry. “That is hardly any time at all!”
“Your mother and I need to return to Riverrun, we have no time to delay. I suggest you begin packing.” Without another word, your father storms out of the room.
“I’m sorry dear…” Your mother whispers to you as she follows behind him.
You collapse to the floor in tears. It feels like your entire world just went up in flames. You did not want to live in Kings Landing, you wanted to stay right here in the snowy North you had grown to love. You did not want to marry the prince, you wanted to marry Cregan who you had also grown to love.
‘Oh Cregan…’ You think. Breaking this news to him would be heartbreaking.
You pick yourself up off the floor and take deep breaths to steady your still shaky breathing. Once you have composed yourself you rush to find Cregan.
Cregan was standing alone in the Godswood looking to the tree before he turns and spots you approaching with a red nose and puffy eyes.
“What is wrong (y/n)?” He asks concerned.
You throw your arms around him and begin to sob again. He hugs you tightly as your tears dampen his fur cloak.
“Shh, it’s ok.” He pets your hair, causing you to cry harder, his tenderness being a reminder of what you would lose soon. “Tell me what is going on.”
“I h-have t-to leave.” You choke out before you begin crying again.
“What do you mean you have to leave?” Cregan pulls back to cup your cheek and look into your eyes.
“My father- he…” You can barely get words out between sobs.
“Take a deep breath darling. You’re ok.”
You do as he says and take a deep shaky breath before continuing.
“He is marrying me to prince Aemond. We leave tomorrow.”
You bury your face back into his furs as you cry harder. He hugs you tighter than he ever has and for a moment does not say a word. The shock of everything fogging his thoughts.
“Please say something…” you whisper.
“How is this possible?” He finally speaks.
“I do not know…” You sniffle as you lift your head. “But my father said it is already decided.”
“But…” He cups both your cheeks in his hands and looks into your eyes with intensity you have never seen from him. “I can not lose you… I- I love you.”
“Cregan…”
Before you can respond he crashes his lips against yours. You kiss him back with all your passion. The kiss is filled with so many unspoken feelings between you. You had dreamt about kissing him many times before but never in sad circumstances like this. You continue to kiss each other like it is your last day in this world. Which for you, it would be your last day in his world. Your lips finally part and you can see tears in Cregans eyes.
“I am so sorry, my love…” You whisper.
Cregan kisses your forehead and takes your hands before placing a kiss on each of them.
“He better treat you how you deserve. Because… you deserve the world (y/n).” Cregan chokes back tears as he speaks.
“You are my world…” You whisper, looking deep into his grey eyes.
“And you are mine…” He whispers back before pressing his forehead to yours and sighing.
You could not bear another minute of this heart shattering goodbye so you excuse yourself to pack for the trip. Tears stream down your face as you organize your belongings. Sitting on your dresser was a beautiful wooden horse your father gave you the day you arrived at Winterfell.
You run your fingers along it, remembering your excitement when you saw snow for the very first time. Your father had said it was to remember that although they were in Riverun they would always be by your side to support you in the North. You scoff at the thought of your father’s words and chuck the wooden horse into the fire.
You did not leave your room the rest of the day as you finished packing. You had no appetite at all and could not bear to see Cregan or anyone else for that matter. After sobbing in bed for most of the night, sleep finally pulls you under.
—
The next morning your things are being loaded onto the carriage. The snow fell gently, snowflakes landing and melting in your red hair, for the last time. You spot Cregan coming to wish you farewell. You run over to him and he wraps you in a tight hug. You both remain there for a long moment, not wanting to let go. He knew once he let you out of his arms you would be gone for good.
“I do not wish to speak the words since I am leaving… but you know my feelings for you.” You sniffle against his shoulder.
“I know…” He says as you finally part. “Me too.”
Cregan held back the tears in his eyes while yours streamed freely down your face. He holds your hands in his and places a final kiss to your forehead.
“Farewell, (y/n).” He says quietly. “I wish you good luck.”
“Farewell, Cregan.” You sniffle, barely holding back from bursting into tears again.
As your hands slowly part you could literally feel him slip away from you. You rushed into the carriage, choking back sobs. As the carriage takes off you stare through the window having one last glance at Cregan, one last moment admiring the beautiful white snow, one last moment in Winterfell. You watch as everything you have grown to love fades into the distance.
The ride is long, and silent, your parents barely speak a word and you were constantly focused on keeping yourself from crying. When you reached a far enough distance the air becomes warmer, forcing you to finally take off your favourite furs made for a lady of the North. After an agonizing few weeks of travel you finally reach Kings Landing.
—
You follow behind your parents as a guard leads you to the throne room where the king and his family await.
“Lord and Lady Tully.” The guard announces your arrival. “And their daughter, (y/n) Tully.”
You greet the king as he welcomes you and your family. Your eyes meet Aemonds as he stares you down, his face cold and unreadable. He was even more handsome than you could have imagined. You break the eye contact with the one-eyed prince and look down nervously.
The guard escorts you to your new chambers and leads your parents off to their guest room for the night. You did not want to see or speak to them ever again. When the guard returns to escort you to dinner you refuse despite his insistence. You knew it would be taken as an insult to the king but you did not care. You hoped it may even encourage him to deem you unworthy of the prince and send you back home.
Not long after someone bangs at your door, startling you. You approach the door and cautiously open it to see Aemond holding a plate of food.
“It is a great insult to refuse the kings welcome feast.” He says as he pushes past you and lets himself in.
You scoff as he places the food on the small table in your room.
“Forgive me for insulting the king, my prince. I did not have much of an appetite.” You say firmly. “And frankly, I do not care to see my parents again before they abandon me here.”
“You need to eat.” He says in a stern tone.
“What I need is to go home.” You snap back.
“This is your home now.” He states, unphased by your attitude.
You simply huff and cross your arms.
“You need to eat.” He repeats. “I know that you must be hungry by now.”
“I’m fine.”
“Suit yourself.” He shrugs before heading toward the door. “Goodnight, Lady (y/n).”
He bows slightly before closing the door behind him. You stand there with your arms still crossed before your stomach starts to grumble. You sigh as you sit down and tuck into your food, silently grateful he brought it to you.
You change out of your dress before curling up into the large canopy bed with red and golden curtains. You felt like a trapped bird in a royal golden cage. Your thoughts swirl around in your mind like a tornado. Your entire world has been flipped upside down in the matter of weeks. Everything you had envisioned for your life has just gone up into flames. Now you were stuck here with these strangers, forced to marry a man you did not know or want. You sob into your pillow until exhaustion finally drags you into a restless slumber.
—
The next morning you sleep in and take your time dressing. You had no intention on intending breakfast either and having to see your parents before they depart. Once you’re dressed you sit at the vanity and brush your hair in the mirror. Suddenly, there is a loud knock on the door.
“Come in.” You call, placing your brush down.
The door opens and Aemond appears with a plate of breakfast food. He walks over and places it on the same table as before.
“I assumed you would not be at breakfast with your parents in attendance.” He says flatly. “But you should eat.”
He says nothing else as he turns to leave.
“Thank you.” You say as he goes to close the door.
“Mhm.” He nods, turning his head to look at you before exiting and shutting the door behind him.
You sit down to the plate full of a variety of foods from the breakfast table. His caring gesture felt so confusing when he acts so cold towards you.
—
You finish doing your hair before looking through the small bookshelf in the corner of your room. Most books seemed to be about boring histories until you find a book about dragons. You pull it from the shelf and spend the rest of your day reading through it. You had never even seen a dragon but now you were about to marry someone who has the biggest one in the world.
That evening you plucked up the courage to attend dinner. You would at least not have to see your family anymore but you worried for how the this family would treat you, especially with how you had isolated yourself away from them.
The guard leads you to the dining hall where the royal family were seated for dinner. You were surprised by the warm welcome as the king offers you a seat. You did not say much as you ate looking down at your plate. The light conversation was mainly between the king and queen. Aemond sat across from you and kept his eye on you the entire time.
When supper was finished Aemond offers to escort you back to your chambers. You say goodnight to everyone before taking his arm. The air was tense as you walked down the halls in silence.
“I would like to take you on a walk through the gardens tomorrow.” Aemond says once you reach your chamber, the offer catching you off guard.
“I… um, I’m not sure.” You respond looking down.
Aemond lightly lifts your chin with his finger, making your eyes meet his. The contact made your heart race before he casually drops his hand back down.
“You must be bored remaining alone in your bedroom.” He questions.
“No.” You scoff. “There are plenty of books to keep me occupied.”
“What are you reading?” He raises a brow.
“Why do you care?” You glare at him.
He simply shrugs and slightly smirks at your attitude.
“I am not sure the title… it’s just a book about dragons. I thought it sounded interesting.” You shrug.
“Have you ever seen a dragon?” His smirk grows.
“No…”
“Would you like to?”
“I am stuck here in Kings Landing for the rest of my life… I am sure I will see one sometime.” You cross your arms.
“I have a better idea than a walk in the gardens. I will meet you here midday tomorrow.”
“But-“ You begin.
“Goodnight, Lady (y/n).” He says over you as he bows and leaves you.
“Goodnight, Prince Aemond.” You say under your breath once he’s out of ear shot.
—
The next morning you attend a quiet breakfast. You pretend not to notice Aemond observing you the entire time. Midday you are reading in your chambers when there is a knock at the door. You answer the door to Aemond, as expected.
“Ready?” He asks.
“For what? You never told me where we are going.”
He lightly chuckles, the first time you have heard him laugh, and offers his arm. Without further questions you take his arm as he leads you through the castle.
You follow him into the dragon pit. You stop in your tracks when a gigantic dragon comes into your sight.
“There is no need to be afraid. She will not harm you unless I command it.” Aemond reassures you.
“And what if you did command it?” You question.
“Then you would be a pile of ash.” He smirks. “Lucky for you, I would not want to destroy such beauty.”
You blush at his response. He was acting so differently than the coldness you expected.
“Here.” He offers his hand to you.
You place your hand in his and feel instant sparks as he looks into your eyes, clearly feeling it too. He clears his throat before leading you over to Vhagar and moving your hand up to stroke her. She grumbles which startles you and you feel Aemond chuckle again behind you. He slowly removes his hand from yours as you continue to pet Vhagar.
“She seems to like you.” He says. “And she does not like anyone.”
You smile to him and see a rare smile on his lips. Not a smirk, a genuine smile.
“Would you like to go for a ride?” He asks.
You look to him with shock in your eyes as you contemplate the question. The idea terrified yet excited you. Not many people get the chance to ride a dragon in their lives and you could not pretend like you have not dreamt of it before.
Aemond seems surprised when you agree and then a wide grin spreads across his face.
“Very well.” He smiles.
You watch as he climbs atop Vhagar before reaching his hand to you, gesturing to climb up. You pull yourself up the ropes before grabbing Aemonds hand. He hoists you the rest of the way so you are sitting behind him. You were certain he could feel your heart beating rapidly against his back.
“Hold on tight.” He smirks.
You wrap your arms tightly around him, your body pressing up against his. The heat in your cheeks rise as you realize this is the closest you have been to him.
You don’t have time to dwell on the thought as Vhagar begins to walk out of the dragon pit before taking off. Your breath catches as you are lifted up into the sky. You close your eyes and squeeze Aemond so tight you were surprised he could still breathe.
“Open your eyes.” Aemond says, somehow knowing you closed them.
You open your eyes and for a brief moment you worry you had fallen off the dragon and died. The way you soared above the clouds was a sight of the heavens. After that you don’t shut your eyes for another second, taking in the sky around you and the lands below you. Aemond circles back around and you squeeze him tight again as he begins to descend. Once you’ve reached the dragon pit Aemond jumps off and helps you down off Vhagar.
“How did you enjoy your first dragon ride?” He smiles to you.
“I- I- I am hardly ever speechless.” You say with a beaming smile. “That was indescribable.”
Aemonds smile remains as he kisses your hand. You gaze into each others eyes for a long moment before you lean forward and place a soft kiss to his lips. He smirks to you before taking your hand again and leading you out of the dragon pit.
You and Aemond were both more lively at supper than usual, talking of the dragon ride you went for earlier. Once the meal is finished Aemond escorts you to your chambers for the night.
“I had a wonderful time with you today.” You say to Aemond as you walk down the halls. “That was honestly the first time I have felt true happiness since being here.”
“I am glad. I quite enjoy your company here. So I hope I can continue to make you happy.” Aemond responds.
“Well, now you have the rest of our lives to do so.” You playfully nudge him, making him smirk.
Once you reach your chambers you look to Aemond.
“Thank you, my prince. For everything.” You think back to the meals he first brought you when you refused to leave your room.
“Of course, my lady… Soon to be, my princess.” He takes your hand to kiss.
You gaze into his eyes with a heartfelt smile. He smiles back at you before leaning forward to place a chaste kiss to your lips. When your eyes meet again there is a strange tension in the air. You watch him glance to your lips again before he suddenly cups your cheeks and brings your lips back to his. The kiss quickly turns heated as you wrap your arms around his neck and his tongue dips into your mouth. Your heart races against your chest as he grabs your waist and pulls you closer against him. The desire between you both is electric. He pushes you up against the wall and you feel his hardness press against your hip, making you gasp into his mouth.
When your lips part you feel yourself almost lean back in, like a moth to a flame. You look at each other with wild eyes as you catch your breath.
“Goodnight, my lady.” Aemond places a kiss to your cheek.
“Goodnight, my prince.” You say bashfully.
Once you enter your chambers you let out a heavy breath you didn’t realize you were holding in. You get ready for bed, your thoughts full of Aemond. You did not expect to develop any feelings in this new marriage but now he was all you could think about. The fire between you was indescribable. You fall into a peaceful sleep as you begin to imagine your wedding and future to come.
—
The next day everything changes. King Viserys passed away overnight. All the small folk are gathered to witness Aegon being crowned as the new king. Your family had pledged fealty to Rhaenyra when she was first crowned heir. You panic and worry for what may come from the throne being usurped.
The next few days pass by in a blur. You hardly saw Aemond and when you did there was never private moments to talk. He even stopped escorting you from meals. You could tell it pained him greatly but he could not find the time right now with everything going on.
One night a knock on your door startles you awake. You rush over, hoping to find Aemond on the other side. Your face drops with disappointment when instead you find a guard standing there.
“What is it?” You ask sleepily.
“Please keep your voice down my lady.” He says as he hands you a hooded cloak, making you arch your brow at him. “Your parents received a raven regarding this treachery. They asked I bring you home.”
“Home? What are you talking about? This is my home now... And why would they ask a gold cloak to take me away from kings landing? Why would you agree?” You babble.
“I will explain everything on our way to Winterfell. Please, my lady. We haven’t much time.” He says, peering over his shoulder.
“I would need to collect my things…” Your brain was hazy from sleep trying to comprehend what was happening.
“There is no time, my lady. Please, we need to leave now.” He begins to panic.
With no time to give it thought, you simply nod and put on the cloak to hide your vibrant red hair. He leads you cautiously through the castle through hidden passages you had never known were there. Eventually they lead you to the streets of Kings Landing. There was a carriage waiting for you just outside the city gates.
Once you are on the road you finally have a moment to process your thoughts. Your heart sinks and your stomach twists at the thought of Aemond discovering your disappearance. Tears run down your face at the thought. You did not want to leave Kings Landing, you did not want to leave him.
The next weeks of traveling was even more dreadful than when you were going to Kings Landing. Multiple times you considered jumping out of the carriage and running back to the Red Keep.
You could hardly eat with your stomach in knots. Aemond blurred all of your thoughts. All you could think of was him. The intense kisses you shared, the amazing dragon ride, his acts of kindness. It broke your heart to imagine how much you must have hurt him by leaving. You had disappeared in the middle of the night, leaving all your things behind. You worried how he would think you chose to abandon him, or worse, think you had been stolen in the night. Which in a way, you had been.
You begin to shiver as you get closer to Winterfell, the air getting colder. The guard notices and pulls a fur cloak out of a small chest inside the carriage. You wrap it tightly around you and try to steady your nerves.
“We should be there soon.” He says.
You simply nod and rest your eyes. The next time you open your eyes the carriage comes to a halt.
“Are we here?” You shoot up.
The guard nods and opens the door. You’re instantly blinded by the white of the snow. Your eyes adjust to see your parents waiting for you. You simply glare at them before your eyes land on Cregan and your expression softens. You had been so worried about Aemond that seeing Cregan nearly slipped your mind entirely.
You jump out of the carriage and do not hesitate to throw yourself in his arms. He hugs you back tightly and pats your hair.
“I thought I would never see you again.” He whispers in your ear.
You nod as the tears start again. You part and he wipes them from your face. You softly smile at him and he kisses your forehead.
“My darling, we are so glad you are safe.” Your mother interrupts to hug you.
“As soon as we heard Aegon was usurping the throne we knew we had to bring you home.” Your father says.
“Yes, thank you.” You say dryly. Your father goes to respond but you cut him off. “Thank you for dragging me away from my home, my life, everyone I have ever known. Then, deciding to bring me back and steal me away in the night. I am not sure the royals even know where I am.”
“We made them aware once you were a safe enough distance that they could not go after you.” He responds.
“Now you no longer have to marry that ‘cold prince’.” Your mother quotes your words from when you were leaving.
You think to Aemond finding out they had taken you back to Winterfell.
“Do you not think they will come after us? After me? They have dragons.” You cross your arms.
Part of you feared Aemond would come for you and steal you away. Another part of you hoped he would.
“They are far too busy with the coming war to worry about a stolen bride.” Your father says.
“That is all I have ever been to you, huh? A bride to be sold off to whichever family benefits you most.”
Before your father can respond you stomp off to the castle.
—
You make your way to your previous bedroom, relieved to see it remains the same as you had left it. You sit down on the bed and cry into your hands. A knock at the door interrupts your sobs.
“Come.” You call dryly, assuming it was your parents.
Cregan cautiously opens the door and you stand from your bed.
“Cregan…” You say as you walk over to him. “I am so glad you are here.”
Cregan boldly closes the distance between you and pulls you into a searing kiss. All of the feelings you have for him come flooding back as you kiss him back passionately.
“(Y/n)… I have been so lost without you.” Cregan says lowly. “I feel like the luckiest man alive to have you in my arms again.”
“I missed you too.” You whisper as you rest your foreheads against each other.
He kisses you again, this time lifting you up and walking you over to the bed.
“My love… I don’t know if I can wait for our wedding night to have you.” He says as he puts you back down. “You are all I have been able to think about since the moment you left.”
You meet his eyes and they’re filled with so many emotions. Heartbreak, sadness, worry, relief, desire, love. You gaze back at him with the same feelings in your eyes.
“Then don’t.” You whisper.
Without hesitation, he kisses you again before moving his lips to your neck causing a small whimper to escape you. You tug at his cloak until it drops to the floor and he moves to push yours off your shoulders. You begin to underdress each other layer by layer, stealing hungry kisses in between. When Cregans upper half is finally exposed you run your fingers down his toned stomach. He moves his hands along the curves your body as you stand in nothing but your shift. You step back slightly and he watches as you slowly lift the thin dress over your head.
“You are so beautiful.” Cregan whispers before capturing your lips again.
You crawl into bed and watch as he unties the strings of his pants and they drop to the floor. Your eyes widen at his hardened length on display. When your eyes dart back up to his there’s a fire that lights within you both. He crawls on top of you before taking your breast in his mouth as his hand massages the other. You squirm underneath him as your hands move to his hair. His lips make their way back up to your neck.
“I love you (y/n).” He says lowly in your ear.
“I love you, Cregan.” You breathe.
His eyes meet yours and he smiles down at you with pure adoration.
“Are you certain about this, my love? We can wait until we are wed…” He asks, though you can tell there is only one answer he is hoping to hear.
You nod and kiss his lips. He dips his tongue into your mouth as he lines himself up to your entrance. You wince in pain as he slowly pushes into you. He moves slowly to give you time to adjust but also because he was barely holding it together. The feeling of you wrapped tightly around him made his head spin.
The pain soon begins to fade and you crave more of him. Something overcomes you as you move to push him onto his back and climb on top of him. He looks at you with wide eyes as you begin rocking your hips against his. You grind against his length and it sends sparks through your entire body. Cregan quickly closes his eyes, the sight of you above him as pleasured moans begin to pour from your mouth had him barreling towards his release.
“My love, please…” Cregan breathes. “I’m not going to last much longer if you continue to do that.”
You smirk down at him and watch a small gasp escape him as you line him up to your entrance and begin to slide down onto his cock.
You moan louder and have to remind yourself to be quiet, you two were not really supposed to be doing this before you are wed. His choked out moans as you ride him makes the knot in your stomach tighten more and more. You cry out his name and before you could even comprehend what was happening your entire body feels like it lit up in flames. Your vision goes black and pleasure clouds your mind. Cregan finally opens his eyes and watches you as you come undone around him. The sight of you instantly triggers his release and he groans out as his fingers dig into your hips and he comes deep inside you.
You collapse onto the bed beside him and you both lay there panting. Cregan pulls you in close and wraps his arms around you. You nuzzle your face into his neck as you hug him back.
“I feel like I’m dreaming, I just cannot believe I am holding you in my arms right now.” Cregan says softly. “Please promise me this is not a dream. Promise me you are real.”
You move your head to meet his gaze. Your hand comes up to cup his cheek as you smile warmly at him.
“I promise you this is real. I’m real.” You say before placing a kiss to his lips.
“I hope so.” He smiles warmly back at you as he lightly strokes your hand on his face.
—
The next few days are busy with wedding preparations as your parents did not want to waste any time. You spend most of your time with Cregan, chatting away like you used to and stealing private kisses in between.
The day of your wedding was quick to come. You were filled with excitement and nerves as you put on the last of your furs.
Snow gently falls from the sky as Cregan comes into your view. You smile to each other as you walk down the snowy isle. He takes your hand in his and the ceremony begins.
“She is mine and I am hers. From this day, until the end of my days”
“He is mine and I am his. From this day, until the end of my days” You recite together as you gaze deeply into each others eyes.
You seal your marriage with a kiss. Cregan holds your hand up to the crowd and they cheer for you both. As you smile widely to the crowd, the thought of Aemond crosses your mind and there’s a pang in your chest. You push the thought away and try to focus on the present moment. Standing side by side with Cregan, whom you loved deeply, you looked like the true lady of the North that you were always meant to be.

Look shit is going to get bad. It's always going to get bad. But with that it means it'll get better too. What's good and bad is different for everyone. Many things that are bad for you know might stay that way. But many of them will also progress and change and actually get better. Beyond that thought, if you stay and you fight, you will get better. Maybe it is your family that'll always be crazy, maybe the political world will be beyond bleak for the foreseeable future, but if you stay you'll be able to see the things that will improve and will be good. I know so many of us have so much on our plates right now and the results of yesterday and dreadful. But please stay. I promise it'll be worth it.
Sure everything you hope for might not happen but you'll never get to know the things that WILL if you stay. I know the point of this post is mostly to address the dread many of us feel after the election. And I fully get it trust me I do. But as someone who has made that choice before and I am so grateful it didn't work for me to be able to still be here I want to share a few things.
"it gets better" is both right and wrong in my opinion. Yes sometimes the things that have you down so bad that you walk that path can absolutely get better. Sometimes they don't though and while that sucks it's okay. Because as I said before, YOU get better. (Not to run into "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" stuff because I get it, why do we have to be strong) You grow, you learn, you change. And with that growth and change your state of mind often changes too. Admittedly my life isn't too different from when I reached that point, but it's also so much better in so many ways. I'll use my family for an example. My family is so chaotic it's overwhelming and that hasn't changed, what has changed though is my ability to cope with it. I am still the one everyone runs to to fix problems. I still try to fix those problems more than I probably should, but I have started to learn to say no and to put up boundaries with them. So while yes it hasn't changed for the most part the growth I've had within myself has allowed me some space from all the chaos and it's truly helped me.
Then there's things like medication and therapy that's has helped immensely along the way. And I fully understand that not everyone has the same access to things I have been lucky enough to have along the way as the journey is different for everyone. And especially given the outcome of yesterday those things may become even harder to obtain for others. But I will say I also thought a lot of those things were out of my reach and I started asking the right questions and made it a little father (again this won't be true for everyone but hopefully will be able to at least a few)
I reached a standstill with progressing in my career because I didn't know what to do next. One day I got super lucky and met a new person who gave me so much guidance (more than I think they know) and it reignited my passion for my goals (again I know I am super lucky to find myself in that situation). My point with that is we have to be able to reach each other because you never know who you can help (with something that may be simple to you) and who can help you. You don't get to experience that if you're gone.
I'm not trying to get into my whole story or journey but I'm trying to share enough that it makes sense and is understood when I say I know what it feels like to be that low and I know what it feels like to overcome it. So please trust me on that.
I know things are scary right now. So much is uncertain and on the line. But you won't fix it by overly stressing about it and you won't fix anything is you don't stay. Times are going to get challenging and it's going to get hard and rough, but we will always be able to do something about it, especially together. So I can't help you if I leave and you can't help me if you go.
So take some time to process you frustration, your grief, and your fears. Then when you're ready take a deep breath and be prepared. Be prepared to take action. Figure out what is most important to you that you fear will change with the coming times. It could be your number 1 thing it could be a top 3-10 depending on what you have the energy for. And. Then start to learn. What can you do to help, what can you do to make a change, how can you make a difference. Then make a plan. When we all taken action things will start to be okay again.
But we can't inform each other if we're not here. We can't help if we're not here. Like OP said times have been bad before throughout history and humans have survived and we'll survive this. If you need a reminder and it won't mess you up too much look into the things people have preserved through (try not to focus too much on those tragically lost to those times because that won't help in this situation)
I know this is long and has gone all over the place but I needed to get this out because it's just part of everything swirling in my mind lately. So, sorry is it's a little hard to understand my points, if you'd like to reach out to discuss any of it with me if gladly try to be more clear on some of it I just was trying to not fully take over OP's post with my response (which I know I more than likely have by now, SORRY OP) this post just resonated with me and everything started flowing. So please just stay even if it means me typing all of this out was worth it and because you are worth it and we will work together to make it better
I hope none of you disappear in the coming days. Seriously don't do anything that can't be undone.
#truly am sorry op#and for how long and rambly it is#i just needed a place to say it and your post just happed to be the place to do so

You know that trope where Person A thinks Person B is just being nice but they’re actually flirting. What about the opposite? Person A misreading their behavior and being the only one falling impossibly in love.
Clumsy in Love Part 3
Adiel had already gone to bed by the time he heard frantic knocking at his door. He stumbled through his apartment hazy with sleep, a hand stretched out to guide him through the dark until he reached his living room. The lights were blinding to his eyes.
“Adiel?” Came the muffled voice through the through the door. “Can…can I come in please?”
Dread washed over him quick and ugly, churning his stomach as his shaking hands unlatched the locks. Had something happen? Was Eddie hurt? Or—
He hesitated to unlock the last latch. Was Eddie drunk? No, he shook his head. Eddie doesn’t… he doesn’t drink, not like that. He doesn’t get…like that. Not like his ex.
“Adiel?” It was softer now, and he finally opened the door.
“Eddie?”
His voice was still rough from his abrupt wakening, but he looked over quickly checking for anything really. When he couldn’t find anything, his shoulders finally loosened.
“Hey,” Eddie smiled a little crooked and forced, “I’m sorry for waking you.”
“It’s cool. Come inside, are you okay? It’s,” a brief glance at his digital watch, “it’s two in the morning, Eddie.”
They shuffled inside and Adiel locked the door behind him. Guiding Eddie to the kitchen as he flicked on a couple more lights.
“I know, I know. I’ve just been,” he gestured vaguely and his rings caught the warm tones of the lights, “driving around. For a while. Uh, my heads just been a mess today and I…”
“And?”
Adiel encouraged him softly.
Eddie, always so unapologetically himself and taking up space in any room he’s in, looks unsure. He looks away, eyes a bit hooded from exhaustion, he thinks. Sadness, maybe.
He has to guide Eddie’s hand away from where he’s begun to wear down his thumb nail again. A habit that he sure Eddie’s picked up from him.
“And, I wanted to see you.”
His heart might actually sore inside him.
“Well,” he offers a cheeky grin and spins on his toes until he’s facing him again, “you have me.”
“Yeah, I have you.” The words carry weight to them. Adiel’s cheeks flush with warmth.
“You do. Come, let’s go put you bed. You don’t have to say anything until you’re ready.”
Having Eddie is his bed always feels like the world to him. It’s one of the only moments when his mind is able to still, thoughts silent. All his worries are gone when he has Eddie in his arms.
It not just when they’re being intimate (‘canoodling’, he says because he likes to make Ed groan), it’s about having him in his space and still feeling safe. Safer, even. And it’s unlike anything he’s been able to feel in his past relationships.
Safe. Being open and vulnerable and still falling asleep next to someone. Eddie coming here at night, because he feels safe enough to be vulnerable, too.
Adiel always falls too fast and too hard, but he just feels so much. Too much. And they only had a couple months together now, but he can feel himself falling. Not there yet. But he could, soon. It’s as if he’s bracing for the impact of it all.
“You’re still awake.”
“I need to tell you something. I can’t sleep until I do.”
Adiel hums.
“Earlier today, or, yesterday I guess. I was at Steve’s house and… he kissed me.”
The night is so silent, even in the city.
“Did, did you want to kiss him?”
“He kissed me. He surprised me and…I didn’t kiss him back. I wouldn’t do that to you, Adiel.”
He gathers Eddie in his arms, his chest against Eddie’s back, and burrows deep into the nape of his neck.
“I know, baby. I’m sorry that he kissed you.”
“He’s my friend. An unlikely one, but one of the best that I have. I don’t want to lose that. I can’t. I, I owe him my life.”
“No.”
“I do. I’m only here because of—“
“I know what he did for you and I’m so grateful you’re still here, Eddie. I don’t want to imagine a world with you. But if he’s as good as a friend as you’ve said he is, then he wouldn’t want you to feel like you owe him anything.”
“You’re right. I don’t mean it that way. Just that… he’s important to me. And I don’t want to let it go.”
“Give him time then, and space. He’ll need it right now and you’ll have to respect his boundaries.” Like he didn’t respect ours. He nuzzles deeper and breathes in his scent it’s thick with sandalwood.
“I feel like it’s my fault that he feels this way.”
“Can’t make anyone feel anything they don’t want to.”
“When did you get so wise?” He laughs.
“Hush, baby. We both need some sleep.”
“You’re the best among men, Adiel. Goo’night.”
“Night, Ed.”
He’s burning with jealousy, but he can keep it tucked away. Steve means something to him. And that’s what he’s afraid of right now.
He tightens his arms around Eddie, being selfish with his warmth.
I just found you, he kisses his shoulder, I can’t lose you.
———
Something changes after that night. It’s not noticeable right away, his friends don’t notice, but Adiel does. He notices everything about Eddie, even the finer details.
He doesn’t mention Steve anymore, at least not to him. And Adiel doesn’t know if this is a good thing or not.
He didn’t notice how much Eddie talked about Steve until he stopped.
He has these moments in between their kisses and conversations where he… gets lost, for a lack of a better word. His eyes carry this far away look and Adiel know he’s not here with him.
He kisses him back to him until his eyes are alight again and smiling enough to show off his one crooked canine.
When will his kisses stop being enough? Will Eddie simply float away from him, like a cherished red balloon escaping the grasp of a small child, only able to watch it go.
He tries to hold onto him tighter. His hand interlocked with his, squeezing and rubbing his thumb on Eddie’s knuckles just to make sure he doesn’t float away.
He doesn’t want to hold too tight that he suffocates him, but he can’t help it.
I can’t lose you, I…
There are many things he loves about Eddie that he can list off, but the one this that makes him different is how he doesn’t care about Adiel’s strangeness.
His timid demeanor that he never grew out of. His constant need to be reassured. His laugh, more of giggle that gets him strange looks. His restless fingers and chewed, painted nails down to a stump.
All things he’s been called effeminate for.
Targeted, pushed aside, excluded…
Eddie takes all these traits and kisses them one by one. Nurturing them. Loving them. Seeking them.
Eddie makes him feel like man, instead of questioning his masculinity. He’s even painted his nails for him and didn’t bat an eye when he asked for baby purple instead of the assumed black.
“Baby, do you mean lavender?”
“Oh my god, shut up! If it’s called baby pink why can’t it be called baby purple. Stop laughing!”
Eddie makes him feel like it’s all okay. That he’s okay.
And everything, everything will be okay, too.
Until it wasn’t.
———
Eddie didn’t stop making him feel loved or cared for, but it felt different than from before that night. Today has feeling to it. Like the end.
He keeps stalling against the inevitable.
“Adiel—“
“Let’s watch movie? You can sleep here again and I’ll make breakfast for dinner,” because Eddie doesn’t like savory foods after dark, “I have a couple new tapes to choose from—“
“Baby.”
Baby purple.
No, no, no. His hands are shaking again.
“You know, don’t you? That it’s the end for us?Adiel, I wish we could’ve been different,” He holds his shaking hands and Adiel focuses on them instead of meeting his eyes. It’s been a long time coming, doesn’t mean he feels prepared.
“Have you been… seeing him?” It’s the first time since that night that they’ve talked about Steve. His hands are squeezed tight.
“No! God, I would never go behind your back. I haven’t talked to him since then, I promise. I’ve been giving him space, trying to let him come around on his own time, but…”
“But you miss him.”
His world is falling apart.
“Have you been in love with him this whole time? That day in the music store, did you like him then too?”
“No. Maybe? I, I really don’t know. I don’t think I ever saw him that way. I didn’t even consider it a possibility until he—“
“Yeah, until he fucking kissed you!” He pulls his hands away and doesn’t miss the fact that Eddie didn’t try to hold onto them.
“Until he kissed me.”
Why must it hurt this much?
It always hurts so much.
His body is shaking but he avoids any attempts of Eddie trying to comfort him. Can’t bear the way he looks at him scared and careful like he’s trying to calm a wild animal.
Everything was perfect.
They could’ve been perfect,
If it hadn’t been for one fucking kiss from some guy that can’t stay out of people’s relationships.
“He’s stealing you away and you’re letting him!”
“He’s not stealing me, Adiel! You can’t steal people away like that, they have to be willing to go.”
“Willing to leave me?”
“I’m sorry.”
“I love you, Eddie.” It’s a dirty trick to say it here and now, but it doesn’t make it any less true. Adiel needs to say it. Needs Eddie to know.
Some sick part of him enjoys the hurt look that crosses Eddie’s face, but it’s not close to feeling vindicated.
“I fucking love you, Ed.” He whispers it this time.
“I… I loved you, Adiel. Wish I could’ve loved you longer.”
“It’s been months since he kissed you. He might not even like you that way anymore.” Might not love you the way I can. “I don’t understand, how can you throw away everything for a maybe?”
“It wouldn’t be fair for any of us if I stayed. I know I’ve been absent minded, know that you could tell that I didn’t have my all in us anymore. You deserve someone who doesn’t make feel that way. Adiel. I don’t have any right to ask, but can you you try to understand—“
“Then don’t ask! You shouldn’t! I don’t want to hear about what you think that I deserve. Just, just leave. Please.”
“…Will you be okay?”
“No, but I’ll have to be. Go, Eddie, I’m not yours to worry over anymore.”
He doesn’t know how long he stays on the kitchen floor. His head hurts, his heart feels empty. His nose won’t stop running no matter how many times he wipes away the snot with his sleeve.
He must look like a mess. Look unattractive.
Adiel feels unattractive.
He didn’t even notice the sound of someone unlocking the door and step in until familiar arms are around him. He’s engulfed immediately in warmth and the scent of coconut. Vanilla.
A humorless laugh escapes him, Eddie must have called her.
“I love him, Tiff. There’s something wrong with me.”
“Oh babe, no. No. Nothing is wrong with you.” She rocks him in her arms, tucking him into her neck. Her signature afro puffs tickle his nose. The same hairstyle she’s kept since they were kids.
“Just haven’t met the one right?”
“You’ll find them, babe. You still have us. You still have me. Now and until the next life.”
“‘Til the next life, Tiff.” A pinky promise as old as time.
He curls further into her and not for the first time he wishes that they were straight. That they could feel that way about each other.
Life would have been so much easier.
They would have had much less heartbreaks, and maybe, he wouldn’t have been so broken.

Not an ask, I just wanted to tell you I love, love, LOVE your snippets. It always makes me happy to see a new post by you on my dash, then I know I'm in for a treat. I especially love your villains, they're so much more than just "the bad guy". I always find myself wanting to know more about them, even though they send a chill down my spine and I know I'd be terrified to run into them in a dark alley at night. Thank you for sharing your genius!
"Has anyone ever told you that it's a dangerous idea to walk down dark alleyways alone at night?"
The villain was well-concealed in the crisp evening, leaned slim as a shadow against the wall.
The air stank of a mixture of oncoming snow and the garbage bags piled up and threatening to spill. It wasn't, the hero thought, the sort of place that really suited the villain. They seemed the type best made for pristine conference rooms and expensive penthouse lairs. Spacious. Glittering. Cold, corporate monstrosity.
"Yes," the hero said. "But then I wouldn't have the pleasure of running into you, would I?"
"Is that what this is?"
"You don't think so?"
"I'm always a delight, but few fully recognise that facet of my personality. Most instead, should they choose to see me in a dark alleyway, walk swiftly in the opposite direction."
"Mm." The hero shook their head. "I admit, your general habit of instilling terror in everyone can sometimes overpower other impressions."
"But not with you."
"Oh, I'm crapping myself. Speaking of. If I aim my phone at you so I can see you properly are you going to hiss at me like a feral cat, eyes glinting, and scurry away? Or am I just going to spontaneously combust for daring to look at you? The rumours vary."
"No one would ever dare call me a feral cat, dear."
"Not in as many words. But you are sort of lurking in the shadows and stalking me, so I think its apt."
The villain snapped their fingers. A ball of light appeared shining at the tips, illuminating the few metres between them. None of the usual rats or cockroaches went skittering away from the villain's immaculate shoes, everything was eerily still, so the hero figured they (like most creatures) were smart enough to keep their distance. Vanish somewhere else, if they could. Hold their breath. Hide.
The hero eyed them and resisted the urge to move closer.
The villain offered a soft, mocking, snake-like hiss.
"You wanted to see me," the hero said instead. "At least, I assume that's why you're lurking outside of my workplace and doing the aforementioned stalking routine. You could come inside, you know. I don't bite."
"I do."
"You're not beating the feral cat allegations."
"If I came inside, your colleagues would pass out or start screaming. It would be a whole thing and I'm not working right now."
"Well-" The hero had no good answer to that. 'It would make my shift go faster' was not a good answer. "Anyway. My break is only ten minutes. What do you want?"
"To see you," the villain said. "Talking with you is a debatable experience."
"Wow, rude."
"You followed me out here. I was happy looking."
"Well, I wasn't just going to leave you to it!"
"Most people wouldn't notice."
"Good for most people," the hero huffed. "Do you want an autograph and a picture so you could take it away and maybe the photo would last longer than looking at me?"
"Yes, if you're offering."
The hero stared at them. The villain stared back.
"...I'm not offering," the hero said, after a beat. "God knows what you'd do with my signature."
The villain snorted. Their head tilted as they studied the hero, twirling their fingers idly, making the light shift and cast the world in strange uneasy fragments.
"Come to dinner with me," the villain said, after a long moment. "After your shift."
"I thought talking with me was a debatable experience."
"Yes. And I'm debating."
"Does inviting people to dinner normally work for you after you insult them?"
"Yes."
"Because most people are afraid to say no."
"Yes."
"No."
The villain smiled. At least, in the light, it looked suspiciously like a smile. There and gone in an instant. The hero couldn't tell if it reached the villain's eyes, cast in the alleyway gloom as they still were. It shouldn't have made a thrill run down the hero's spine, but it did.
"Another night," the hero said. "Maybe. When I'm not working."
"You're always working, be it here or in your adorable crime-stopping ways."
"Adorable doesn't win you any points either."
"I'm not trying to win points with you."
"But you're trying to take me to dinner. Why?"
"Novelty. I make a point to invest heavily in my own amusement."
"And I'm amusing you."
"You're...intriguing me. Whether you say yes or no," the villain said. "So entirely up to you if you want the free dinner or not."
"I can afford my own dinner."
"Is that why you're so skinny?"
"Again," the hero said, because the only other option was to be rendered speechless at the villain's audacity. "Rude."
"Politeness is for people too weak to say and do what they like. Dinner on Wednesday then?"
"They say you're horrifying. No one told me you were also insufferable."
"Well, most people are attached to keeping their tongues, so that's not really surprising." The villain continued, waving a dismissive hand, before the hero could possibly respond to that nightmarish gem of a comment. "They say you're generally brave and lovely, but five minutes alone with you already makes it clear that there's something desperately wrong with you or you would never have followed me here."
The hero spluttered.
"Death wish?" The villain asked curiously. "Adrenaline junkie? I didn't think you were especially stupid, but it's hard to tell watching you from the other side of the street."
"You really are something, huh."
The villain flicked the light off their fingers in the hero's direction in response. When the light reached them it didn't hurt, only popped like a bubble against their nose. They were plunged into darkness.
When the hero raised their phone, the villain was off the wall and right there in front of them.
The hero sucked a sharp breath, eyes going wide.
"As are you," the villain said. "Most people would have flinched."
The hero swallowed.
They felt suddenly infinitely aware that the silent darkness was also beneath the villain's power, as much as the light was, swallowing up every inch of space around the two of them one way or another. Who knew what was the villain's and what was just there.
Dangerous to walk down a dark alley indeed, as if it was the dark or the alley that was the real problem.
The hero had never felt so damningly alive.
"Wednesday," the hero said. "Tell me where to meet you."
"It's a date."
The rest of their shift passed in a blur.

me and you
hopkins paige x hopkins reader
angsty… kinda
you and paige have been childhood friends both growing up in minnesota. you guys were basically inseparable, where ever you go, paige goes and vice versa. when paige went on fiba u17 she would call you and text you all the time. it got so bad to the point you had to tell her friends caitlin and hailey to take her phone away. sometimes you would have to temporarily block her during her training so she would focus. to you paige was your whole world, her dreams, accomplishments, her everything was your world. and of course the same with paige.
when it was time for you both to commit to college you of course applied for all your dream schools uconn (for paige), columbia, northwestern and of course Yale. yale has been your dream school since you were little and paige’s dream school was the university of connecticut. When paige committed to uconn it’s wasn’t a surprise everyone knew that’s where she would end up, and she was expecting you to join her. when you told her that you were going to yale instead, she understood, upset but she understood, she couldn’t be mad that was your dream.
each night of that summer she laid in her bed wondering about the two of you.
wondering if you guys would remain as close, it’s always been you and paige. the thought of anyone replacing her scared her. she wonderd if you would date anyone. the thought of you dating someone that wasn’t her, quite broke her filled with jealousy and heartache, she called you in a hurry.
“hey you there” she said out of breath like she has been crying for hours and just woken up from the worst nightmare imaginable.
“yea im here, what’s wrong paige?” you asked confused, half asleep yet calm knowing you need to be grounded for paige.
“could you come over right now… i really really need you” her voice breaking with each word.
“yea im headed over there right now, do you want anything?” you said comforting and soothing but deep down you were confused as hell. she has never been this emotional over a dream before (or what you thought was a dream)
“no i just need you”
“okay i’m on my way” and with that you hung up
with the spare key paige’s mom gave you, you entered in, not wanting to wake anyone let alone paige if she fell asleep again. you knew how much stress took over her so you knew how important it was that she gets sleep.
you opened the door making zero noise. you see paige’s bright blue eye, you can tell she’s been crying.
right when you hugged her she started sobbing again
“hey, hey, it’s okay i’m here, what’s wrong paigey?”
paigey has been a nickname you gave her back when you guys first met.
“i don’t want to leave, i don’t want you to leave” she cried out
“please please don’t leave me, don’t forget about me. it’s always been me and you, please don’t replace me” crying out even harder, squeezing you even tighter as if you were going to fade away if she let go even a slight bit.
“hey it’s always going to me and you, that’s never going to change”
“but you’re going to yale, you’re going to leave me, find someone new to replace me and forget about me” she says hyperventilating due to her crying.
you slightly wiggled out of her embrace, just enough to cup her face “paige, breathe, i’m not going to replace you, and i’m definitely not going to forget about you.”
you lift her chin so she would look at you
and finally, she looks you in the eye. her blue eyes dilated.
before you could say anything
she kissed you.
and you kiss back.
this is bad… i came up with a new story in the middle of this and completely forgot my ending so this is the ending now 😭

TOM RIDDLE - soulmates don’t exist PT. 6

As you slipped into your sleep, you found yourself wandering through memories—familiar, cherished memories—it all came flooding back, slipping into your mind like whispers and playing before your eyes like a movie. It was a bright, golden afternoon by the Black Lake at Hogwarts. You could see Ron, Harry and Hermione.
They were sitting on the grass on a picnic blanket you’d brought, laughing over something Ron had said, his face red with barely-contained laughter. Hermione was reading out loud from a book, clearly exasperated but smiling, and Harry was watching them both with that look. A look that he always had when he was at ease, a rare smile.
Harry’s glasses are slipping down his nose as he squints against the sun, his hair as messy as ever. Ron stretched out lazily, one arm propped behind his head as he reaches for a pumpkin pasty with the other.
“It’s so good to see you,” you say softly, the words spilling out before you can stop them. You felt a pang of longing, realizing how much you miss this easy, familiar closeness.
“Oh, you’re stuck with us, don’t worry,” Harry says with a grin, his green eyes bright and reassuring. “We’d never leave you.”
“Absolutely,” Hermione adds, nodding earnestly and closing the book on her lap. “Besides, who else would help us figure out all these mysteries? You’re as much a part of this as we are.”
Ron chuckles, taking a big bite of his pasty. “Not to mention, someone has to be there to keep you two from overthinking everything. Imagine the chaos if it was just the three of us.”
You laugh, feeling a warmth in your chest.
“You know,” you say, glancing at the lake where the water shimmers in the sunlight, “I wish we could stay like this forever. Just… having a picnic, no worries about anything else.”
Hermione reaches over and gives your hand a squeeze. “We’re here, whenever you need us. Even when things get difficult, remember that.”
Harry nods, his expression softening. “Don’t let anything make you doubt that. We’re always with you.”
You felt a rush of warmth and nostalgia hit you, drawn into the comfort of those days you had spent with your friends. You could hear their voices as clear as day. Their laughter mingling with the soft rustle of leaves and the gentle breeze. It felt safe, like nothing could touch or hurt any of you, like the years hadn’t drawn you apart.
But as the warmth of the dream lingers, something shifts. Colours started to fade, darkening the sky. The warmth of the sky dissipating into a cold shadow. The laughter thinned into silence, Hermione’s face contorting in worry as she looked toward the darkening horizon. You reached for your wand, only to find nothing. You looked up towards your friends.
One by one, they started to fade—Ron’s freckles dimming into the darkness, Hermione’s eyes lost the fear as her face became indistinct, until only Harry remains. He’s staring at you, dead in your eyes, his expression haunted, as though he knows something you don’t.
The familiar faces of your friends became twisted, their eyes wide and hollow, black, staring past you, as if you weren’t even there.
“You've never been alone in this.”
You turned your head towards the sound of Harry’s voice from behind you. Suddenly, you’re no longer sitting on the grass. The world around you seemed to shift and distort, like the walls of reality were bending in on themselves.
Instead, found yourself in the Great Hall, but it’s ruined, twisted. Broken. There’s rubble everywhere, and you’re alone with a figure moving slowly through the debris. You look down to find your wand in hand, trembling, but no matter how hard you try to call put, no sound leaves your lips.
The figure points behind you and unwillingly your head turns with the hand, behind you could see them, all of them, your friends—Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna and the twins. They were standing at a distance, eyes empty and staring straight through you. They look lost, hollow, shadows of who they once were.
A faint dripping sound pulls your attention away from their faces. You glance down and notice a small puddle of blood pooling at Hermione’s feet. Your gaze shifts up to her arm, slick with blood, where something is scrawled in crimson against her arm.
Tears formed in your eyes and you looked away, towards Harry, the hollow in his eyes having a faint green look in his eyes. As soon as you noticed it, it left.
You tried to move toward them, but your feet felt glued to the spot. A wave of helplessness surged through you. The only thing you could do watch as figured emerged from the darkness, out of the walls—hooded, faceless shadows that closed in around your friends.
Distant screams echoing as they were dragged away, lost in the darkness.
Your heart pounds painfully, the sense of helplessness crushing you. A chill crawls down your spine, the cold seeping deep into your bones. Your breaths grow shallow, the weight of guilt pressing down like a heavy stone.
And then, in the depth of the moment, the figure approached you—a pair of cold, dark brown, calculating eyes fixed on you, a face shrouded in darkness but recognisable everywhere. Tom.
He’s looking at you, a small, chilling smile playing at his lips. His voice echoes, low and taunting. “They’re all gone because of you,” he said, voice soft yet sharp. “Because you couldn’t change a thing.”
Your breath hitches, and you stagger, trying to escape, to wake up, but his face looms even closer. His presence filled the void with even more darkness, casting shadows that seemed to cling to your skin, creeping up your spine like ice.
“Why are you even here?” his voice echoed, smooth and unfeeling, carrying a weight that felt like judgment. “Do you really think you can change anything?”
You woke up with a start, heart racing and gasping for air, the cold sweat clinging to your skin as the remnants of the nightmare cling to your mind. You sit up, images of twisted faces and dark shadows still burning behind your eyelids.
You sat up, wiping at your face with shaky hands, only to realise they were wet—tears had already started to flow, now completely blurring your vision. You wiped them away with a shaky hand, but they just kept coming, as though all the fear, all the frustration, all the loneliness you’d been bottling up had burst free.
Looking around the empty dorm room, you realized it was Sunday morning. Your roommates had already left for breakfast, leaving you in a silent room that suddenly felt too big, too cold.
With your chest tightening, you stumbled out of bed, grabbing a sweater and tugging it on over your head, fingers fumbling with the sleeves. You barely took the time to slip on shoes, leaving them unlaced as you hurried out of the dormitory. Your hands wouldn’t stop trembling, and the cold, early-morning stone floors of the castle did little to calm you as you rushed through the corridors, your footsteps echoing in the silence.
Your breath came in shallow gasps as you navigated the winding halls, your mind locked on one single thought: Dumbledore. he had to send you back. you couldn’t take it anymore.
It wasn’t long before you reached the familiar stretch of hall leading to professor dumbledore’s office.
The portraits along the walls watched you as you rushed past, whispering among themselves. You climbed staircase after staircase, fueled by a mixture of fear and anger, until finally you stood in front of the stone gargoyle guarding dumbledore’s office.
“Let me in,” you whispered hoarsely, still crying, your voice cracking. When the gargoyle didn’t move, you let out a strangled yell, slamming your fists against the cold stone. “let me in! please!”
As if in response to your desperation, the stone gargoyle slowly shifted aside, revealing the spiral staircase. You scrambled up, each step feeling like it took forever, until finally you burst into his office. He was seated behind his desk, calmly looking over a stack of papers, but he looked up immediately when you stormed in, concern flickering in his eyes.
“Miss Y/L/N,” he said gently, closing the door behind you. “What brings you here so early?”
“Professor,” you choked out, standing in the middle of the room, your body trembling as the flood of emotions poured out, “Send me back. Please, send me back. I don’t want to be here anymore, I… I can’t do this.”
You swallowed, the words coming out in a shaky rush. “I can’t… I can’t stay here. I want to go back. please, I need to go back to my time. I miss my friends, my parents… everyone. i can’t do—”
The weight of everything came crashing down as you spoke, your voice trembling. “Please, professor, I don’t belong here… I want to go home.” your voice broke, and a sob escaped you. you covered your mouth with one hand, the tears coming faster now, blurring your vision completely.
dumbledore’s eyes were full of understanding as he stepped closer, guiding you gently to a chair. “take a seat, my dear,” he murmured, his voice calm and reassuring. “i know this must feel unbearably difficult.”
“No, you don’t understand!” you interrupted, your voice coming out in a broken yell. “I don’t want to sit down! I want to go back!”
“I don’t belong here! every day, every second i’m here, it feels like… like i’m suffocating. i miss my friends, i miss my family, and i can’t…just pretend everything is okay. it’s not fair! you brought me here, and now i’m stuck. i never even had a choice!”
Tears were streaming freely down your face, your fists clenched so tightly your nails dug into your palms. Dumbledore took a step toward you, but you took a step back, shaking your head.
You sank into the chair, wrapping your arms around yourself as you tried to catch your breath, but the tears wouldn’t stop. “It’s too much,” you whispered, your voice barely audible. “I don’t want to be here anymore. I feel so alone… everything here is different, and I don’t know how long I can pretend I’m alright with it.”
he took a seat beside you, his expression pained but kind. “Your feelings are entirely valid, and your courage to speak up about them is admirable.” he paused, studying your tear-streaked face with that same intense, searching look he often wore. “Being out of one’s own time is a very heavy burden to bear. You have been given a task that no one should be asked to bear alone.”
“Don’t tell me to be brave, don’t tell me this is for some greater purpose!” you shouted, voice breaking. “I don’t care about the greater purpose! I want to go home! I don’t want to be here, living in constant fear, watching every move I make. you don’t understand what it’s like!”
Your sobs overtook you, racking your whole body as you sank deeper into the chair, wrapping your arms around yourself in an attempt to keep yourself from falling apart. “I miss them so much. please… please, just send me back.”
Dumbledore was silent for a long moment, watching you with a sadness that only deepened the ache in your chest.
“If I could, child, I would,” he said softly, his voice filled with an unfamiliar heaviness. “But, you know why you’re here. There are things that must be done, paths that must be taken.”
“I do not say this lightly, and I do not expect you to forgive me for the burden I have placed on you. but the future depends on it.”
“I don’t care about the future right now!” you yelled, the anger burning bright through the fear and pain. “I care about now! I care about my life and my friends and my family.”
“Why should I have to give all that up? I didn’t ask for any of this! I lost my life—freedom for you!”
Dumbledore nodded slowly, as if weighing each of your words. “Sometimes, life asks of us sacrifices we would never choose,” he said quietly. “I am deeply sorry for that. But know this—you are not alone, and you do have the strength to face what lies ahead.”
He stepped closer, placing a gentle hand on your shoulder. “And strength, my dear, does not mean the absence of pain or fear. Strength is simply the willingness to keep moving forward, even when it feels impossible.”
You stared at the floor, the weight of his words pressing down on you. a part of you wanted to believe him, but another part just felt… tired. bone-deep tired.
“I don’t even know if I-I’m doing it right,” you managed to whisper, your fingers gripping the edge of your sweater tightly. “What if… what if nothing changes? What if Harry still… still dies?”
“I understand your fears,” he said softly, “But I am here to help guide you. And while I cannot give you a clear answer about the future, I can tell you that your presence here has already changed things, even if it may not be obvious.”
You wanted to believe him, but the doubts gnawed at you. “I feel like I’m losing myself, professor. every day, it feels harder to remember who I am, or who I used to be.”
“Your identity is not lost, even if you feel disconnected from it,” he replied, his voice warm and steady. “It is within you, no matter what time you find yourself in.”
You looked down, sniffling, trying to draw strength from his words. “It’s just… Everyone feels so far away.”
He nodded slowly, his eyes soft with compassion. “You are allowed to feel this way. It is human, after all, to yearn for those we love.”
After a few moments of silence, he added, “If you truly wish to return, I can explore the possibility of sending you back to your time. However, I would ask you to take a little time to think it over first. Sometimes, in the midst of hardship, we cannot see the strength that lies within us until the storm has passed.”
You took a shaky breath, nodding, though the ache in your heart still lingered.
He offered you a reassuring smile. “Whenever you need to speak, my door is always open.”
The gentle waves of the black lake lapped at the shore, the water shimmering under the soft morning light. You sat by the edge, hugging your knees to your chest, staring out across the lake as memories of Harry, hermione, and Ron surfaced, vivid and sharp. The ache in your chest felt endless, like a hollow, sinking weight that refused to leave.
The spot felt haunted now, a cruel reminder of everything you’d left behind—the laughter, the closeness, the feeling of home that was slipping further from your reach with each passing day. You felt yourself fraying at the edges, unraveling beneath the surface of your forced smiles and brave face.
You barely registered the sound of footsteps approaching until someone sat down beside you. Turning your head, you found Lucas, his usual easygoing grin replaced by a look of gentle concern.
“Hey,” he said softly, nudging you with his elbow. “you look like you've got the weight of the entire library on your shoulders. what's going on?”
You tried to respond, to tell him it was nothing, but the words caught in your throat. The mere kindness in his voice, the familiarity of it, broke something in you. All at once, the tears started to flow, again, hot and unstoppable, and you buried your face in your hands.
Lucas’s arm immediately wrapped around your shoulders, pulling you close. He didn’t say anything, didn’t press you for answers. He just held you there, letting you sob against him, his hand rubbing soothing circles on your back.
“Hey, it’s okay,” he murmured, his voice low and comforting. “Cry all you need to. I’ll even throw in a free shoulder to soak.”
You let out a choked laugh through the tears, but the laughter quickly turned back into sobs. You clutched onto him tightly, as if he could anchor you back from the overwhelming tide of pain and loneliness that threatened to swallow you whole.
“I… I’m sorry, I’m a mess today.,” you managed to say between sobs, your voice barely more than a whisper. “I miss my friends so much, Lucas.”
He nodded, squeezing you gently. “I know, I know. That’s got to be the hardest part of all this—being here, away from everyone. But you’re not alone, okay? i’m right here, and i’ll stay here as long as you need me to.”
“Besides, we can always send them letters, they’re only in France.”
You stayed there, clutching onto his warmth, letting his words settle over you like a balm. ‘Only in France’
You swallowed fresh tears.
After a few moments, he leaned his head closer, his voice soft but with a familiar mischievous edge. “Besides, who else would put up with me if you weren’t here?”
You sniffled, managing a small, wobbly smile. “Probably, like, everyone. you’re everyone’s favorite flirt, Lucas.”
He grinned, and there was a playful glint in his eyes. “Well, that’s true. But nobody gets my best material like you do. I save all the good jokes just for you, y’know?”
You let out a watery laugh, shaking your head. “You’re an idiot.”
“Hey, insults aside, at least I got you to laugh. My work here is almost done.”
You smiled a little, feeling a bit of the heaviness lift, if only for a moment. Lucas’ arm stayed around your shoulders, solid and steady, like a lifeline you hadn’t realized you needed so badly.
“You’ve got a lot on your shoulders,” he said, his voice turning gentle again. “And I know it feels impossible, but you’re stronger than you think, Y/n. and I’ll be here every step of the way, even if you’re too stubborn to ask for help.”
You let out a long, shaky breath, feeling the warmth of his reassurance settle over you. It wasn’t home, it wasn’t Harry, Hermione, or Ron, but Lucas was here, grounding you in a way you hadn’t expected. And for now, it was enough.
“Thank you, Lucas,” you whispered, your voice thick with gratitude.
He gave you a reassuring squeeze. “Anytime. I mean it. Anytime you need a shoulder to cry on, or someone to charm the socks off the Slytherins just for fun, I’m your guy.”
You laughed again, and this time, it felt genuine. Lucas gave you a smile that was soft and warm, and as you sat by the lake together, you felt, for the first time in a long time, that you might be able to make it through this—one small step at a time.
Lucas nudged you with his shoulder as he reached for a bowl of mashed potatoes. “Alright, Y/n, here’s a question: if you could switch places with anyone in the entire wizarding world right now, who would it be?”
You rolled your eyes, taking a sip of pumpkin juice. “Easy—someone on holiday. preferably somewhere sunny.”
Alicia laughed, tossing a piece of bread at you. “That’s cheating! I thought you’d say someone exciting, like an auror or the minister of magic.”
“Can’t blame her,” Lilith chimed in, grinning.
“A tropical holiday sounds pretty thrilling after being stuck in potions all morning.” Maeve nodded her head, agreeing.
“You’ve got a point,” Lucas said thoughtfully, grinning at you. “Although, if I could switch with anyone, I’d probably pick Slughorn. Imagine all the secrets he must know, all those weird stories about famous people.”
“And you’d get to throw endless parties for yourself,” Lilith pointed out, a rare smile tugging at her lips.
Maeve smiled, “it would be the ultimate ego trip.”
Everyone laughed, and Lucas shrugged, clearly not bothered. “Hey, the guy knows how to live. He’s probably got more gossip than all of us combined. Speaking of parties,” he added, raising an eyebrow at you, “Ready for the slug club soirée, miss Riddle’s date?”
You groaned, feeling your cheeks warm as the others turned to look at you with intrigued expressions.
“I still can’t believe he just… declared you his date and walked off,” Alicia said, shaking her head in disbelief. “You didn’t get a single word in?”
“Not one,” you admitted, laughing. “He just looked at me with that infuriatingly smug expression and then left.”
Lucas leaned in, smirking. “And you, Y/n, are seriously going along with it?”
“Well,” you said, rolling your eyes, “I mean, he’s kinda… hot.”
“So… yes, I guess I am.”
Alicia nearly choked on her pumpkin juice, eyes widening. “Hot? He’s terrifying, Y/n! Have you seen the way he just stares at people? It’s like he’s plotting their downfall.”
“Yeah,” Maeve added, shooting you a half-amused, half-bewildered look, “But I get it… he’s got that whole brooding dark lord-in-the-making vibe. still, I wouldn’t want to be within hexing range.”
You couldn’t help but laugh uneasy, brushing off their reactions.
Lilith shoved some cauliflower onto her plate, “oh, come on, sure, he’s intense, but there’s something about him that’s… intriguing.”
Lucas, however, looked horrified. He leaned back, crossing his arms dramatically. “intriguing? no, no, Lili, intriguing is a new flavor of bertie bott’s beans or a strange ingredient in potions. Not Tom Riddle.”
Maeve nodded absentmindedly, “He does look like a good snack.”
Lucas gaped, “Sorry, what is wrong with you?”
Maeve shrugged her shoulders, “Don’t act as if you wouldn’t like a little nibble from him, even though you’re like—into girls and stuff.”
You straightened up, feeling Lucas tense beside you. So, you were the first person to know. Alicia also having noticed this, she rolled her eyes.
“Oh, lighten up, Lucas,” Alicia teased, nudging him. “I think we’re all just a little scared that she’s going to show up to the party in some hypnotic trance, spellbound by his ‘intensity.’”
Lucas rolled his eyes, pretending to be unimpressed, but you could see the faintest hint of a smile tugging at his lips. “Fine, if that’s what you want. But personally, I think he’s the human embodiment of a dark cloud, and I’d rather not be around for the thunderstorm.”
“Oh, don’t be dramatic,” you replied with a grin. “It’s just one night. What’s the worst that could happen?”
Lucas gave you a long, exasperated look but then sighed, shaking his head with a reluctant smile. “I feel like you’ve just jinxed us."
“But, if it makes you happy, I suppose… but just remember, if he starts getting that ‘plotting world domination’ look, I’ll be there with a rescue plan.”
You grinned, giving him a playful nudge. “I’ll keep an eye out for his ‘dark cloud’ side.”
Maeve leaned forward, her eyes twinkling. “And what are you wearing?”
“I’m glad you asked,” Lucas said proudly before you could respond. “We’re matching.”
The entire group burst into a chorus of excited gasps and laughter, peppering you with questions. Lilith just nodded approvingly.
“Trust Lucas to make sure you two are the best-dressed at the party,” she said, a hint of admiration in her tone.
“Hey, if she’s going to suffer through a night with Riddle, the least I can do is make sure she looks fantastic,” Lucas said, grinning. “We’re talking silk, elegance, mystery—the works.”
“I don’t know about suffering,” you said, shrugging, though a part of you felt slightly on edge about the party. Tom Riddle’s attention still felt unsettling, but you didn’t want to think about that now.
“Oh, come on, I bet he’s actually a terrible dancer,” Maeve said with a wink. “you might have to lead.”
“That would be hilarious,” Alicia added, snickering. “Just don’t let him step on your toes.”
Lucas laughed. “If he does, you have my permission to hex him right there in front of everyone.”
You couldn’t help but smile, comforted by the light-hearted teasing. As you looked around the table, a warmth settled over you, the tension from this morning melting away.
“If anything, I know you’ll be having a great time, Lucas,” you said, nudging him.
You stood up from the table, giving Lucas and the others a quick wave as you grabbed your bag. “I’m going to the library to study with Ben,” you said, smiling weakly. “I’ll see you later.”
Lucas shot you a mock-salute, his expression playfully suspicious as if to say, ‘Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.’ You grinned and waved him off, heading down the hall with the familiar comfort of your new friends’ laughter fading behind you.
The corridors were quiet, the muffled hum of the Great Hall lingering in the background as you made your way toward the library. You had only made it a few steps when, from the corner of your eye, you noticed someone falling into stride beside you. It was Tom.
He moved silently, his steps measured and smooth, his hands tucked into his robe pockets. You hadn’t even heard him approach, yet here he was, looking as composed and unreadable as ever. You tried not to tense, but the memory of his last intense gaze lingered.
You didn’t look at him but raised an eyebrow anyway.
“You’re walking alone,” his voice came from just next to you, and you could almost feel his gaze on the side of your face. “I thought I might walk with you.”
“Y/n,” he said, voice calm but direct, as if he’d been waiting for this moment.
You hummed in reply, wondering where this conversation was going to lead you this time.
“I saw you by the Black Lake earlier.”
You kept your gaze forward, unsure where this was going. “…And?”
His tone was quieter than usual, though still carefully controlled. “You were …crying.”
The words struck you, not because they were untrue, but because you hadn’t realized anyone had seen. You felt your cheeks warm slightly, defensive instinct kicking in.
“Why do you care?” you replied, keeping your voice steady. “It’s hardly any of your business, Riddle.”
He looked at you, brow raised slightly. “It’s not,” he admitted. “But I’m asking.”
You glanced at him, his face composed but his eyes watchful, curious in a way that felt genuine, though you couldn’t shake the feeling that everything about him was calculated. Even so, he had a strange intensity about him that made it hard to dismiss him completely.
You stiffened, your fingers tightening around your bag strap. “I’m fine,” you said, trying to keep your voice steady, your gaze fixed ahead. “It was nothing.”
“Nothing,” he repeated, almost sounding amused. “You’re lying.”
“If you must know, it’s because… I had a difficult time, with….something,” you kept your words vague, unwilling to open up fully but feeling oddly compelled to say something.
“Difficult?” Tom echoed, his voice betraying the faintest hint of curiosity. “You seem perfectly capable of handling yourself. What could possibly make you—” he paused, almost as if the word felt foreign to him, “—upset?”
You shrugged, keeping your tone guarded. “Being capable doesn’t make someone immune to, well… feeling lost, different? I don’t know. It’s not like everyone here is exactly friendly.”
He nodded, considering your words in silence as you turned the final corner toward the library. “You sound like a Hufflepuff.”
After a beat, he spoke again, his voice almost softer. “Perhaps.”
“It is just very odd to imagine someone like you feeling out of place.” He paused, his expression unreadable. “I wonder why that is.”
Something in his voice made you feel exposed, as though he was peeling back layers you hadn’t even known were there. You were confused how he spoke so, elegantly for someone so rough.
You looked away, shrugging. “Maybe because I’m just a girl, at the end of the day.”
You caught a faint, almost imperceptible flicker of interest in his eyes. “Perhaps,” he said slowly. Then, almost as an afterthought, he added, “I understand that feeling, you know. Not fitting in. It’s a powerful motivator.”
The words lingered between you, unspoken layers hidden in their simplicity, and before you could form a response, he glanced down the hallway.
“We’re nearly there,” he said, his tone shifting back to its usual detached calm. “Don’t forget, by the way—Slug Club party. You’re still my date.”
He gave you one last look, his eyes gleaming with an enigmatic intensity that sent a shiver down your spine. Then, with the same silent precision, he turned and walked away, leaving you alone outside the library, a strange sense of unsettledness trailing in his wake.
As you watched him walk away, you couldn’t shake the feeling that something—some subtle, quiet thing—had shifted between the two of you because of that little conversation. And you weren’t sure whether it was unsettling or… strangely comforting. But you could feel it in your stomach.
A/N: sorry for late postinggg, hope you enjoyed it though!! also, I'm having problems with tagging, so i apologize if your tag didn't work :(

“Is that her?”
Aoi pauses at the whispered question, glancing down towards the three younger girls who are helping her hang up laundry. The three younger girls who are no longer focused on hanging up laundry, rather –Naho, Sumi, and Kiyo are currently peering curiously towards the other end of the garden, where Shinobu-sama is standing with the newest guest to the Butterfly Estate.
Snow-white hair, and deep blue eyes. The coloration is unusual and eye-catching, and it only takes an instant for Aoi to realize that this is the girl from the rumors. It has to be her –the one who’d saved the Flame Pillar by killing Upper Moon Three, and the one whom Oyakata-sama had mobilized so many people to search for over the better part of the past month.
“It has to be, right? Didn’t Nagakura-san say that the girl who saved the Flame Pillar would be staying at the Butterfly Estate for a while?” Naho peeks over the edge of the freshly-washed bed sheet. “Look at the way that Shinobu-sama is talking to her! It seems like she’s someone important, doesn’t it?”
Naho’s observation is very astute. Even though the white-haired girl only looks to be around Aoi’s age, Shinobi-sama does not speak to her as if she were a junior demon slayer. Rather… there’s a certain level of respect, and… wariness…?
The suddenly girl turns around. Blue eyes look towards them, precise and unflinching, causing all three of the younger girls to let out startled squeaks of surprise simultaneously. Aoi squeaks a little bit, too, embarrassed at having been caught staring red-handed by their new guest.
Shinobu-sama glances towards them, smiles, then says something to the white-haired girl. Then, she leads the other girl over to them.
“I see that you’ve already noticed our new guest,” Shinobu-sama says. “This is Gojo Shiki –our newest recruit to the Demon Slayer Corps, recruited by Oyakata-sama himself after her timely assistance to Rengoku-san.”
The girls pull themselves together, and offer their greetings in a cheerful chorus together. Aoi, too, echoes a polite greeting, and introductions are exchanged.
“Hello.” Gojo-san bows slightly, courteously. The movement is refined and elegant, and Aoi finds herself staring a bit at the other girl. “It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”
“Gojo-san will be staying with us in the Butterfly Estate for a while,” Shinobu-sama informs them. “She… hasn’t trained with a cultivator before, and there are certain gaps in her knowledge that Oyakata-sama would like me to fill in for her. We also need to send a missive to the Swordsmith Village; she’ll also need a nichirin blade.”
Aoi blinks.
… How in the world had Gojo-san killed a demon, then?! And Upper Moon Three, no less?
“Is there something special about a ‘nichirin blade?’” Gojo-san asks.
Aoi stares at the girl, then turns incredulously to Shinobu-sama.
“… Yes,” Shinobu-sama says. “They’re special blades forged with crimson iron sand and scarlet ore, from the Sunlight Mountain. Decapitating a demon with such a blade will kill them, instead of allowing them to regenerate from their injuries.”
Gojo-san’s expression does not change. But for some reason, Aoi gets the impression that the other girl isn’t very impressed.
Shinobu-sama seems to realize it too, because she lets out a small huff. “Although… from what I understand, the weapon that you used to kill Upper Moon Three wasn’t a nichirin weapon, was it?”
“No.” Gojo-san tilts her head slightly. Then, proceeds to reach inside the sleeve of the kimono she’s wearing, and pulls out a… knife? “I used this.”
… Isn’t that just a normal knife? The kind that’s used in regular households and the like?!
Aoi looks at the knife, then looks at Gojo-san, and swiftly comes to a decisive conclusion:
She’s utterly terrifying.

Hey! I'm here again!
Can I request EJ, Hobo Heart, and Liu/Sully(separately and feel free to not do any of them if you can't think of anything) with a human S/O that just... bites. When it's affectionate bites, they'll make a "aaaaa" noise as they go for it, but when it's just plain aggressiveness... they just pounce and bite as hard as possible. Just like a dog or something!
EJ:
It's incredibly amusing to Jack. It's amusing for the fact that, as a feline demon (making him a predator demon, one with extremely sharp teeth built to pierce), he got himself a human that likes to chomp. You can't really deal any harm to Jack as his skin is so tough and with your human teeth you'd have to really, really intend to cause harm, so he doesn't mind at all when you get chompy with him. In fact, he thinks it's really, really cute, and he often tells you as much. The second he can feel you raising up to nom him, an adorable "Aahhhh" leaving your mouth, a smile is already blooming on his lips, and once you make contact he's bubbling with laughter, snorting at your happiness as you gently tug at his skin. He always wraps his arms around you and pulls you close, burying his face into your shoulder as you nibble away, overflowing internally with joy at how cute you are. Whenever you randomly jump at him and latch onto him with cute aggression bites he thinks it's doubly amusing, often rubbing your hair and questioning you on who you think it is that's the predator between the two of you. He'll tease you, saying he'll remind you that you're the prey between the two of you if he needs to, but it's just empty teasing. You can feel free to nibble on him whenever you want to, so long as you don't actually intend to cause any harm. Just don't make him want to start nibbling you back, as that's a much more risky behavior.
Hobo:
If you want to fluster and embarrass Hobo, this is certainly one of your guaranteed ways to do so. He always gets flustered from it, as you're pretty much his first real, true long-term partner, and you're certainly the first one to ever do something like this to him. He's not used to closeness and affection in general, so when you cutely bite him, holding him close as you do so it always has him blushing and making surprised little noises from it, his eyes looking anywhere but you because he's too sheepish to make eye contact with you. You always find this to be incredibly adorable, and it often makes you want to tease him more, which just makes him whine and bury his face into his arms because he can't handle it. You've gotta be careful with pouncing at him, and I don't know if I'd recommend it unless he can see you going to do it. If you pounce from behind it'll probably scare him, and his wings will puff up and he'll probably jump into the air, and he'd feel really, really bad if he ended up hurting you on accident in the process. So, just pounce from the front or announce yourself first. Regardless, always make sure to press a bunch of kisses around wherever you were biting, and then to his face, as it reassures him you're doing it out of love and affection and not as some sort of punishment or way to cause harm. He finds himself shocked at how he comes to look forward to the little moments when you nibble on him.
Liu:
You bite the Liu, the Liu bites back. Liu thinks you're the cutest in the world when you bite him, but he can't let you have all the fun, can he? Nope! So every time you start to nibble him, he nibbles on you too, getting his teeth on whatever part of your body he can reach, even if he has to tug your hand or arm toward his mouth so he can get at something. I can see him also racing you toward it, trying to nom on you before you can do it to him, making it a little competition between the two of you. He'll scoop you up into his arms and nip at any part of you he can reach, and if he's feeling particularly teasing, he'll tickle you while he does so until you're laughing and squirming as you try and get out of his grasp. Sometimes though, he'll fakely act like you're being too much, sighing when you nibble on him and shaking his head, patting yours and asking what he's going to do with you when you keep being so troublesome, though you both know he doesn't mean it. Whenever you go to more aggressively bite him, he has one of two outcomes. Either he gasps really loudly or cries out, acting as though he's actually being attacked, sometimes putting on such a good show you actually have to check in on him. The other is that he attacks right back, playfully growling at you while he pins you down and chomps all over you. To Liu, it's a fun, cute little thing that the two of you can do together, and he always welcomes it.

alright, I am dissecting the Emmrich graveyard scene below for how down bad they are for eachother
pls note I have attached screen caps
find my other post here
we begin -
"I would hate to lose you whilst I am still mortal"
this line is directly after Rook questioning all the flirting and what that means for them should he become a lich. which Emmrich responds witht he above. this is a tough one for me to break down as either way Emmrich retains his soul, emotions, and thoughts if he becomes a lich. I believe this line is tied to the fact of being afraid Rook will not want him anymore once he explains his desire to be a lich, as alluded to throughout the rest of the scene.
this one is kind of self explanatory. Emmrich states that nothing will change if he becomes a lich, apart form the no death thing, but would still consider Rook in the decision.
then we are met with a sigh - this is a sigh of desperation. 'how do i choose my words so carefully that Rook see's my desire and doesn't shun me for it' - hence Emmrich goes on to explain what being a lich would mean in hopes rook will still desire him. (this becomes a big factor throughout the rest of the lich romance - desire)
'considerations'
as above, and again now with considering rook. now the first conversation cuts out after this. it is my belief that these considerations are considering Rook and their perspective, whilst also including the fact that it is later revealed that Emmrich might die during the rite, therefore losing Rook whilst still mortal. I believe this line is both a statement of care for Rook, and his fear od death.
throughout the quest, Rook asks Emmrich a bunch of questions, more so just filler content so Rook can understand lichdom and the process.
then Emmrich shows you something that is probably the closest thing to his heart before Rook. his parents graves. keep in mind that Emmrich had these made, and he engraved 'they walk eternity hand in hand'. Then the next shot is Rook and Emmrich walking side by side to the shrine.
walking eternity hand in hand is also mentioned in the lich romance scene,"find you in another world" aka the fade. this man has believed in soulmates for decades.
subtle conversation tactic of, 'what would you want me to be, rook'. here you either say happy with someone who cares about him, or break up with him (i do nOT reccommend).
simple to the point, emmrich is looking for subtle validation here for rooks feelings
and the fact that there is only one correct option is wild too.
If you choose, "Whatever you want", you reply by saying Happy. which very close to the romance committment line of "Happy with someone who cares for you."
Emmrich is looking for that connection so so badly, hence why only one option
Emmrich's gaze towards Rook as he asks them what shes wants, and baring his soul to her.
after committing - Emmrich does not look away from rook once.
rook is fucked. rook is head over heels in love and smitten with this man. keep in mind that throughout the rest of the game, there are conversations with companions where Emmrich will straight up shut them down when pressed about them 'moving too fast' or 'do you know what you are doing'. Emmrich is very clearly defensive about these things, which is so hot.
in my playthrough, they are necromancers, well aware of how short life is, especially facing the apocolypse. ofc they are going all in.
this man is gonna go home and jump up and down on his bed
do i need to explain this? the shrine of passion and devotion, the ETERNAL SHRINE.
anyway im really, really down bad for this dynamic and them. im also in love with my rook so that doesnt help.
ill most likely do a break down of each scene

Second Best- Jungkook (part 6)
Summary: Being friends with someone who has your heart it’s already hard, let alone when that special someone ends up falling in love with your best friend, the one you think would never make anything to hurt you . Will you be able to ignore it and move on? what will happen when everything gets too much for you to handle?
Genre: Friends to lovers; angst; body insecurities; bullying; friend betrayel;
Pairing: Jungkook x female!reader
Jungkook woke up around 9:30 am. The first thing he did was check his phone in case he had any notifications from Y/n, but had none. He was seriously getting worried about this lack of response. Had something happened with the person Y/n left with? If that was the case he would never be able to forgive himself. He knew he should have gone after her, he's so stupid.
He got up, took a quick shower, got dressed, grabbed his keys and left, he couldn’t keep up with this uneasy feeling. Putting his helmet on, he drove to the coffee shop Y/n worked. He knew her shifts very well, and that was the only place he could find her. When he got there, he parked his bike, took a deep breath and got in looking everywhere for her but still no Y/n in sight.
“Hey there moto boy. What can I get you?” Sana asked. Jungkook looked kinda confused. “I was actually looking for Y/n. Is she on her break?” Sana frowned and looked at him suspiciously.
“You’re kidding right?” Sana exclamed. “You are always together and talk to each otherall the time when you aren’t. You can’t tell me you didn’t know she took some days off”
The world fell at Jungkook's feet upon hearing that. Y/n took a few days off and didn't even answered to his texts or deign to call? what the fuck was going on. Jungkook nodded his head, said thank you and left, picking his phone up instantly to call Y/n. “The person you called is not available. Please try again later”
Fuck. Me
------------
Y/n fell in love with that place as soon as she saw it. Everywhere she looked she she felt immense peace and everything seemed so quiet and cozy, everything to make the weight on her shoulders disappear. Upon entering the chalet, they were immediately greeted by a gentleman at the entrance who directed them to the reception.
After checking in and receive the keys, they picked up their luggage and followed the gentlemanto the elevator, who was showing them the way to their "apartment”. Y/n couldn’t believe what her eyes were seeing. Walking in, she’s faced with a very nice living room, with wooden walls and gray furniture. It had shelves with books, among other really cute stuff decorating the place. All very neutral and very light, exactly what she needed. On the coffee table was champagne and a plate with strawberries and chocolate with a small note saying "we hope you enjoy your stay as much as we enjoy your presence. Thanks for choosing us. Have fun"
From the living room they went to the bedroom to organize their things. When they walked in Y/n was even more astonished. From their bed they had a view of the outside. She always loved snow and being there was filling her heart with so much happiness she wished she could live there forever.
“Where did you find this place and how can you afford it for both of us?!” Y/n exclaimed. Lisa looked at her with a funny look “My dad owns it. A benefit of traveling so much and not seeing his family for so long, not everything can be bad. I used to come here for Christmast and New year. It's crazy during those days and you know me, I love crazy and those were my favourite moments here”
Y/n laughed. Only Lisa could say something like that.
“So… You know how to ski right?” Lisa asked out of nowhere. “Oh hell no Lisa, no way, not right now, we just got here we should—” Y/n argued back but was soon interrupted by Lisa
“There's a snow suit in the closet on the right. We have a lot to discover we won't wait until tomorrow. You rest during the night. Come on princess, time is money” Y/n huffed while getting her suit to start putting it on. How could Lisa have so much energy was something she couldn't understand.
They both got dressed and head out of the chalet. Y/n was amazed by the view, everything was perfect. But it’s not an adventure if something doesn't go right for Y/n. Out of nowhere she lost sight of Lisa, making her panick. She had no idea where she was.
Y/n looked around trying to see her friend but couldn’t identify anyone who would look like her. She started walking around worried about straying too far from where Lisa last saw her. Y/n was so distracted that she didn't even notice anyone coming close to her, ending up colliding with that person, causing her to lose balance and fall. The other person quickly knelt down, stretching out his hand to help her until she heard “Y/n?”
She looked up, took the stranger's hand and straightened her hair a little, trying to understand where she recognized that voice from, until the stranger took the protective mask off his eyes and saw him.
“Taehyung?”

Could you perhaps to Stylist magainze reader x Drew. She is a stylist on a set for LOEWE and in charge for his wardrobe. They have not met before. She is on the shy, sweet, introverted side. He finds her attractive and finds little moments to touch her (not in a creepy way, more so like you are when you have a crush on someone, you touch their arm when you laugh as an example) Gives her some longing heart eyes from time to time but Reader thinks she is just delusional
hope you enjoy!! ⭐️ the sun dips low over the loewe set, casting a warm glow over the meticulously arranged garments and accessories. the air buzzes with the chatter of the crew, but you feel distant, lost in the fabrics, the textures, and the vision you have in mind for the shoot. as the stylist, you’ve always preferred the company of clothes over people, but today is different. today, you will work with drew.
you’ve heard stories about him—his charm, his wit, and, notably, his colorful language. still, nothing could prepare you for the sight of him. when he arrives, casual and effortlessly cool, it feels like a scene from a movie. his presence radiates confidence, and as he saunters onto the set, your heart skips a beat. you quickly look down, focusing intently on the dress you’re adjusting, your cheeks burning.
“hey there,” drew’s voice cuts through the background noise, warm and inviting. the way he leans casually against a rack of clothes makes your breath hitch. you glance up, and your eyes meet his. his smile is charming, with a hint of mischief, and it makes your stomach flutter.
“hi,” you manage, your voice barely above a whisper. you feel shy, as if the spotlight has suddenly shifted onto you, and the world is watching. but you can’t deny the spark of excitement that courses through your veins. you’re here to do a job, and you will give it your all, even if your heart races in his presence.
as you both begin working together, the initial awkwardness fades into a comfortable rhythm. you pick out outfits, explaining your vision, while drew listens intently, nodding along. the way he engages with you makes you feel seen, his dark eyes sparkling with interest. you try to focus on the clothes, but every so often, you catch him looking at you with a soft, lingering gaze that makes your cheeks flush.
“okay, so what do you think about this one?” you ask, holding up a flowing, oversized shirt in a vibrant shade of blue. it contrasts beautifully with his rugged looks, and you hope he’ll agree.
“i think it’ll look sick on me,” he says, a playful grin stretching across his face. “but only if you promise to style it right.”
you can’t help but laugh, the sound bubbling up unexpectedly. “i promise,” you reply, your smile brightening.
as you work, drew finds little ways to bridge the distance between you. he leans in closer when you adjust a collar, his arm brushing against yours, sending sparks shooting up your arm. each touch feels electric and innocent, like a silent conversation charged with a mixture of humor and something more profound.
during a break, the crew gathers around a table laden with snacks. drew pulls you into the group, and you find yourself laughing at his jokes. he has a way of punctuating his stories with colorful language, each curse word drawing laughs and gasps from the team. “and then i said, ‘you’ve got to be fucking kidding me!’” he exclaims, eyes wide with mock disbelief.
you find yourself giggling, completely taken by his animated storytelling. it’s easy to get swept up in his energy, and for a moment, your shyness fades away. as you laugh, drew casually reaches out to tap your arm, the warmth of his touch lingering longer than you expected. you look at him, heart pounding, but he’s already looking at someone else, throwing out another joke to the group.
with every shared moment, you can’t shake the feeling that there’s something between you—an unspoken connection that pulses in the air. but you brush it off as your imagination, convinced that you’re reading too much into it. you’re just a stylist, and he’s drew—the talented actor everyone adores.
as the day progresses, you catch him watching you more than once, his gaze lingering, filled with admiration. each time your eyes meet, your breath catches in your throat. “am i just delusional?” you wonder, shaking your head to clear your thoughts.
when it’s time for the fitting, you step back to assess how the clothes hang on him. “you look amazing in this,” you say, your voice filled with genuine excitement. the outfit fits him perfectly, accentuating his frame and highlighting his features.
“yeah? you’re not just saying that because you styled it?” drew quips, tilting his head, his eyes glimmering with mischief.
“maybe,” you say playfully, unable to suppress a grin. “but it really is great.”
he steps closer, your faces inches apart. “you’ve got an eye for this,” he says softly, his voice low and sincere. you can feel the warmth radiating from him, and in that moment, all the noise of the set fades away.
then, unexpectedly, he reaches out, brushing a loose strand of hair behind your ear. the innocent gesture sends your heart racing, and for a moment, you forget where you are. you blink up at him, stunned, and see a hint of vulnerability in his expression, a longing that matches your own.
“don’t look so surprised,” he teases, but there’s a softness to his tone that makes your heart swell. “i’m just trying to keep it real here.”
“yeah, right,” you laugh nervously, trying to play it cool. but inside, you feel a whirlwind of emotions—hope, excitement, and an undeniable attraction that you can no longer ignore.
as the day comes to a close, drew walks you to your car, the air heavy with the unsaid. he leans against the vehicle, arms crossed, a relaxed grin playing on his lips. “so, when can i work with you again?” he asks, his tone casual but his eyes intense.
“i—um,” you stammer, caught off guard. “i don’t know. it’s usually up to the director…”
“let’s make it happen,” he interrupts, his confidence shining through. “i’m serious. you’ve got something special.”
your heart races as he steps closer, his gaze locking onto yours. “i mean it. i really enjoy working with you,” he says, his voice sincere, yet laced with that playful edge you have come to love.
“okay,” you whisper, feeling a smile bloom on your face. “let’s do it.”
as you drive away, the sun setting behind you, you can’t shake the feeling that today has changed something inside you. drew has not just been a client—he has seen you. and as you replay the day’s moments, your heart soars with the possibility of what could come next.
