If you... if you remove ghosts from the equation, in Danny Phantom, the story reads completely different. Did you ever tried imagining it? Because it lives rent free in my mind.

AU where ghosts are not real, and Vlad only gets a radiation poisoning that ruins his life forever and in the end will kill him horribly.

Everything else is the same: Jack and Maddie abandoned him, the accident is Jack's fault, and Danny gets in a similar accident later.

Danny barely has time to meet Vlad, who has organized a small reunion of his college friends, on his deathbed. Vlad notices that Danny has the first symptoms of the same horrible thing that happened to him, and as soon as he can be alone with Danny he tells him that, if he had been healthy, he would have tried to take him away from the clutches of a negligent parent like Jack, to give him a better life.

«That man killed us both. And when we're dead, he won't care. I'm sorry I didn't report him, Danny, when I had the chance... he would be rotting in prison for what he did. Instead I considered him a friend, and I didn't ask for justice. If you are in this state... it's also my fault. But I didn't know you existed, Danny, I didn't think... I didn't think Jack would do it again. That he would put his son in danger, the same way he did to me».

Vlad dies holding Danny's hands, asking for forgiveness as if it were his fault. And he promises him, solemnly, that in another world they would meet again... that in another world he would save him from Jack's hands.

Ok but Dial Drunk AU

Modern day Bucky loses his job or is dealing with PTSD or something major happens that sends him into a spiral. He starts drinking more. Gale is concerned and tries to help anyway he can. But Bucky starts acting drunk in ways that haven't been such a big deal in the past.

I'm not saying he's abusive or anything like that, but maybe he's just overwhelmingly embarrassing in a not okay way or he doesn't really listen to Gale when he says something makes him or comfortable or asks him to stop something. Bucky always apologizes the next morning and Gale really is trying to help him through it but he's reaching his limit.

Either things escalate one night or Gale is just done. He tells Bucky so. He tells him he's done. He's not doing this anymore. This is the last time he's cleaning up Bucky's mess. Either get sober, get under control, or Gale is gone. Gale has gone through this mess before. With his Dad. He's not doing it again. He loves Bucky but he can't go through that again.

Bucky is still a bit hungover but the finality of Gale's words sober him up. He's swears he's done. He's not even going to drink anymore. He's sorry. He'll do it for Gale. He will.

And it lasts all of a week. Then something sets him off and he thinks he can handle a little bit. He won't get completely drunk tonight. Just something to take the edge off.

But once he starts drinking he stops thinking and when he stops thinking Gale's words drift away.

So Gale leaves. He walks out. He makes sure John is safe because he still cares about him more than he even wants to admit. But he said he was done and he meant it.

When John wakes up, hung over, he doesn't remember exactly what happened. But slowly it starts to come back to him. Then he remembers and is just filled with dread. He calls Gale but he doesn't answer. He calls again and again and again and Gale won't pick up the phone. Maybe he finally picks up and says something like "I was serious John. Call me when you're sober." And Bucky decides he will. He will get sober. For Gale.

And this time it only lasts three days. However without Gale cleaning up after him, this time leads to him getting picked up by the cops. For something stupid. Disturbing the peace. Bar fighting. Something that normally wouldn't happen because Gale is normally there to make sure it doesn't happen.

At the police station, Bucky is a bit more sober but the only phone number he knows by heart is Gale's. Even if he knew other phone numbers he doesn't know who else he could call. So he calls Gale.

Even though it's well past midnight, he answers on the third ring. Bucky wonders what he's doing up so late.

"Hey, Buck." He says and there's a pause on the other line.

"John."

"Hey, I uh, I hate to bother you but-"

But Gale has always known when John is drunk. Sometimes before John realizes it himself.

"Are you drunk?"

Now it's Bucky's turn to be silent.

Gale curses. "I thought- I really thought. But no. I told you I was done John and I meant."

"I know and I'm sorry but please, I just need-"

"I'm done cleaning up your messes." And he hangs up.

The officers take pitty on him and let him call again.

This time Gale doesn't pick up.

Summer, a season of brightness that shines brightly upon your black-pearl eyes. Glittered sands that reflect from the light along with faded-colored shells. The noises of seabirds blending with the swoosh of the waves.

A red and white checkered mat was laid on the sand. Packed snacks and a camera were scattered along with our sandals, both of us sitting only bare-footed. I was sitting down infront of him while his hands moved up to my black wavy hair, playing with the loose strands.

My eyes gazed at the crystal sea of water.

“You seem to be enjoying the view,” Doyoung placed his chin on top of my shoulder, snaking his arms around my waist.

I giggled, “I love the view… it’s very pretty and peaceful,” tilting my head so I could see a clear view of his face.

Little black strands of his bangs were freely swaying, being blown from the fresh sea breeze. Sunlight hitting his pale clear skin, shining bright like his smile. His soft and plump lips is as pink as tulips from the field of flowers.

His eyes darted on mine, a smile formed on his lips causing his cute little eye whiskers visible.

He pinched my cheek, “It’s prettier when you’re in the view.”

I lightly slapped his cheek, “Kim Doyoung, you’re so cheesy.” we chuckled.

“C’mon, you like it”

“Whatever you say.”

Doyoung stood up from his position, snatching the camera that was placed on the mat. He walked backwards from where I was, watching him confusingly. As he stopped right at a perfect distance, he snapped me a picture and ran towards me.

“Come, I want to take you a picture somewhere,” he grabbed both of my hands, helping me to stand up with his support.

We ran as he dragged me near the shore, taking me tons of picture. I smiled shyly, doing different poses while gesturing me to keep on going. Suddenly, the wind started to hit towards our direction, causing my long length white dress to sway.

My hand immediately grabbed my dress, preventing it from flying too much and exposing my skin while my other hand is fixing the strands of my hair that were covering my view.

Doyoung immediately noticed my situation. He chuckled and walked right in front of me, placing my loose strands behind my ears. While doing so, I didn’t notice that I was already staring at his eyes.

Heart starts to beat faster, racing insanely as well as my mind. Everything feels like a dream; a dream that you do not wish to wake up to but to live forever in that feeling. The feeling of fluttering, to be with the love of your life and do things that both of you enjoy.

I thought this only happens in Disney movies, where fantasies of love are usually portrayed. Things went unexpected and couldn’t imagine that it is now happening in reality; being together with my long time college partner and confessing our feelings to one another.

Butterflies started to kick in my stomach and went back to my senses. My eyes went wide; surprised from his action. His soft lips was now placed into mine while he is holding my left cheek.

He paused, staring right into my eyes, “you’ve been staring for too long, I guess I surprised you.”

Cheeks started to ache from the heat and tension, forming red blushes like a tomato. Doyoung giggled, “you’re cute.”

“Stop,” I whined, hiding my face with my hands.

“Don’t cover your face, I like it when you’re blushing.”

He slowly pulled my hands from covering, showing entirely my shy and flustered face. I looked down onto our toes, still covering my reaction but it was no use. His soft hands lifted my cheek, defeatedly facing each other.

We stared at each other. Pupils in his eyes grew big and twinkling… they say a person’s pupils grow larger when they meet the love of their life or the person is in love, and that is exactly what he feels right now. He couldn’t believe that we’re finally together as he wished to the universe. What I also wished.

Doyoung has always have this thought to marry me, to grow a family and teach our children to play music just like him. He wants to be a good father, to take care and show his love to children as much as he does the same for me.

And I believed that he will definitely be the one when the time comes.

Despite being busy in work, he always ensure that I’m doing well and given each other some time; cuddles, conversation, and affection. When a problem occurs, he’s always there to comfort and listen. A man like him is very sweet, caring, and trust-worthy. Someone that will make you feel grateful to have in your life.

And he is right in front of me, standing closely. Our faces are few inches away from one another.

I closed my eyes, sensing his face getting closer to mine. Our noses are touching, the sound of his breath going lower until he finally placed his lips onto mine, passionately kissing me. Sparks grew larger, as if fireworks were surrounding us. The feeling of rollercoaster, the excitement and the sweet taste of cherry in his soft lips.

It lasted long ‘till he paused, still with my eyes closed. I waited for his response until he let out 3 words from his mouth.

the words,

“I love you”

He said with his soft voice

…until it vanished in the air.

Tears rolled down from my eyes like a continuously flowing river. I slowly opened my eyes and met by a dimmed sky, along with a sun that is soon to set down. Rocks were now more visible as the tide waves went low.

Everything was bright before, but it turned to be the opposite. The bright summer season was now nothing but feeling of desolation, an emptiness. Sparks that grew larger have now died down, nothing feels the same as it used to.

I still couldn’t believe and accept the fact that you’re no longer here with me.

The pain, the pressure. The faint smile painted on your face, the weakness on your eyes, reassuring me that everything is going to be okay.

It hurts knowing that you were in pain.

But, as what I promised to you, I’ll still keep on going as what you wished for. Although the universe didn’t grant what we truly wanted, I’ll do all of these things for you. I’ll try to grow stronger, to love myself more, especially to make you proud.

I know that you’re now in a happy and safe place,

please watch over me, love.

He was not going great in the sewers, but Yoshi would have never had it any other way. All his four boys where sleeping in a basket that had a small pink blanket so they could be comfortable, Yoshi has only been getting supplies from dumpsters and alleyways so they don't have much but it still works

They have been running low on food and Yoshi will need to go out to get more food, better drone than later, yeah? He puts down the basket gently and makes sure his boys are still sleeping, "see you soon my boys", he hasn't gotten the chance to name the little ones yet, he will decide on it fate he gets some more food though

He walks to a sewer cover and opens it, leaving it open so if he carries to much food he wont need to set it down to open the hatch. The ally he is in right now has already been searched for food a while ago when he first came to the sewers, he puts his cloak hood up and dashes out of the ally into the closest ally beside it, he finds a half eaten banana that hasn't gone Brown yet, but that's all he can find in that ally

He dashes to another ally and finds a big dumpster, he opens the dumpster lid up and looks inside, nothing, it must-have been emptied a bit ago considering there wasn't even a piece of paper in it, what bad luck, Yoshi sighs and looks a bit around the ally, also nothing, he gets out of the ally and is prepared to dash to another one when a human cries out "AHHH!! GIANT RAT THING!!!! HEEELP!!" 

Many people start gasping and screaming at Yoshi, he dashes to another ally faster than any times before, the humans still see him though and they call someone on their phones

Yoshi quickly searches for a sewer gate, none, that's not good!! 

Sirens sound out and police cars park near the ally, many officers come out of multiple police cars and back people away while pointing their guns at Yoshi, ready to fire If he even moves an inch

A police officer says "hands in the air!" Yoshi raises his hands, the policemen cuff Yoshis wrists and ankles and get him into a police car quickly, many people are filming, one of the officers pulls out a syringe and says "this won't hurt a bit.." they put it into his arm and he immediately starts getting tired and he passes out

He wakes up in what looks like a hospital room, Yoshi looks around, the door to the room hes in opens and in comes someone wearing an EPF uniform, they say "Hamato Yoshi, also known as the famous Lou Jitsu, you have illegally went into the sewers and also stole many items from stores, you have also turned into a giant living rat.. we cannot have you stealing anything more or causing chaos"

Yoshi starts begging "please- let me go! I can't be here! I can't die!!" The EPF man sighs, suddenly Yoshi blacks out again, then he feels a horrible stabbing pain in his chest, he screams bloody murder as he feels something wet and sticky trail down his chest, it starts getting harder and harder to breathe, until eventually, everything goes white

He hopes his boys are okay... he didn't even get to say goodbye... good luck, my boys.. stay safe..

its still mermay somewhere…right? 🥺 okay, hear me out: what if suguru is an unhappy depressed prince. what if he is SO sad, he doesnt really mind if he…dies? and he is about to drown but then he meets gojo. satoru is a sirene who would actually kill humans, but instead of killing him he saves him ofc (bc suguru is fucking special ♥) and then its kinda nice that both of them end up being the opposite. the "killer" is saving and getting "tamed" and the one who wanted to die lives and starts seeing the joy in life again. suguru tries to teach gojo not to kill humans anymore and brings him other food instead. as a sirene gojo is a creature, who doesnt usually go to the hairdresser, thats why his hair is long! one day tho it gets tangeled SO BAD (cuz he gets caught in a fishernet) that suguru has to save him and then cut his hair. ofc he looks fucking ethereal afterwards ✨ ((suguru keeps gojo a secret btw)) (((fangs are hot)))
