Look people can discourse about how problematic a ship is and how terrible people are for shipping it all they want, but the reasons they try and assign for shipping something are usually pretty ridiculous. The only actual point of discrimination on whether or not I’m gonna ship a pairing is just how narratively compelling the character dynamic is. Do they play off each in an interesting way? Is there some good narrative symbolism involved?? I’m there.

Yes that does mean I’m often a basic bitch and end up enjoying whichever slash and femslash ships are popular BUT there’s usually a reason why a bunch of writers have gotten into something! Tbh! Shit being popular doesn’t mean it’s bad, stuff usually pops off for A reason, regardless of it’s a reason you personally agree with.

Hearing the news about Sam's recovery from tonsil cancer made everything make sense as to why C3 was taking so many breaks. I mean, at the same time they're also branching out as a business and creating new series but spreading things out to pace the production of C3 while Sam got the treatment he needed makes me a lot less inclined to get irritated about the frequent breaks as I've seen people on Twitter are. If anything, I'm glad about this mini-hiatus C3 is taking with having Brennan Lee Mulligan DM another EXU spinoff for a bit.

really and truly I think it built upon the exact themes I have loved so much from previous msq in ways that aligned perfectly for some very good symbolism and parallels. even to my own ocs! many new characters to this story reminded me of my own that I have written within this setting and I couldnt be happier about that. <3

I had this kind of meme-ish idea of "I'll use all my classic art training to paint favorite anime characters" and here we are. I used a lot of Norman Rockwell, some J.C. Leyendecker and bits of my homie, always mentioned William Bouguereau as references, but especially Rockwell. I also used this picture of Raychell and Risa (the character's VAs, for those unfamiliar) as reference, it was what kind of inspired me in the first place!

Added in my usual headcanons for LAYER and CHU², but this time I decided to make CHU² wear a very oversized uniform, because she's so advanced at school but still so smol 🤏
