I've been hooked on nomads recently so of course I just HAD to draw something

I know the series is pretty angsty right now, so here ya go!

I was admitedly very lazy with the outfit design and honestly I'm not even gonna try and hide the fact that that turtle was 100% traced💀

I wasn't in the mood to do ANOTHER study, which uh... probably explains a lot

Just a wee bit o' practice.

I do want to say though that I LOVE painterly art styles. I took a bit of inspiration from the work of Marco Bucci and you know what, a little bit of @mercuryferns .

Of course my art is no where near that level of magic but who knows what it'll look like in a few days even.

People may think that mixing in different colours and tones into skin n' stuff is really hard but it really couldn't be any easier. So try it out!

My art usually looks a bit more.. Realistic? But really it doesn't matter. I enjoyed drawing it :)

If you didn’t already know, I write fanfictions! My first was/is an Eddie Brock/Reader fic. Very angst, but also fluff, and sprinkles of smut. It's got heavy mentions of depression and the things that go along with it.

BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT WE'RE HERE TO TALK ABOUT

I have been pulled into the Pedro Pascal universe and have been flooded with a plethora of ideas. I'm going to start posting my fics here and on Ao3. There will always be a link and tags and all that shit. I'll also post updates about WIPs and ideas that I have!

the thing is, i don’t disagree that what and how you choose to write about things is a reflection of you, the writer, and cannot be divorced from your beliefs and biases. but to assume that anyone can perfectly pick out your beliefs from a piece of fiction you’ve written is an extremely weird and paranoid thing to claim, especially if you’re positing that the secret truth is that the writer is a dangerous person and they’re “revealing” that through fiction that upsets you, personally. at the end of the day, the artist is not the art, and no matter how upsetting, no matter how much you dislike it, no matter how much it disgusts you, you don’t know the person who made it and you can only guess how who they are shaped what they made.

like, really, is it more likely that the secret “belief” that’s being revealed when you’re reading something that is really upsetting to you is that the author is a secret Bad Person™��� who wants all of this fantasy to happen in real life, or that the author knows it’s a safe and normal thing to create upsetting works of fiction and so did that.

the fact that they made it illegal to make ads louder than programs on tv in 2010 but haven't updated it to apply the same regulation to streaming. who do i have to call.

the reason why Luo Binghe and Shen Yuan can't attic wife each other in there house and never leave is that they don't have internet or anything else around to help keep them moving. I think we chalk too much of Shen Qingqiu being a super productive person post transmigration often too much to reading into things and treating his unreliable narration as fact.

But like, what is he supposed to do all if not actually go outside and talk to people and get a job. Luo Binghe needs to do things other than be a housewife for his own sanity so he doesn't cabin fever. He can't live focusing his day around a singular person being in the room its not healthy and would drive him insane. These are not overly productive constantly doing things people. These are people doing things to make sure they aren't malaise slugs feeling nothing in their day to day drudgery.

This is just what a healthy post/pre internet mental state kinda looks like.

actually actuallyyy thistle getting devoured by that lion was a game changer. worldview altering. at some point you think "that kid was violated by his brother's god" and have to stop and sit down and absorb it all. the fact that everything that led up to that moment was more or less good intentions, from the party from yaad from thistle imprisoning the god of desire to protect his loved ones. lion aside there were no malicious actors here. if anything it was self-violation made manifest are you seeing this shit
