How long have you been a Russophile?
Birth.
No, but in all seriousness, I wish more people would ask me about my love for Russia. I feel like it’s weird for me to just randomly start talking about, because then they might think it’s a new thing/propaganda with all that’s been going on but I digress.
I’ve had a love for Russia probably since I was a little girl. I love the culture, the language, the rich history. It’s so much more fascinating than American history… so much more storied. I don’t know… I just feel so attached to that country, the people, even though I’m so far removed from them.
I love Russia and always will. Nothing could make me hate her. 🩷

Subheadline: Archbishop Vigano, Sergei Lavrov, and other luminaries kick off a promising new global grassroots movement which could get very, very big. Russophiles from 40 countries gather in Moscow. It is my pleasure to present the first comprehensive, detailed report in English, written by an insider, about the International Russophile Movement, launched last month in Moscow. This project, supported by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aims to counterpunch the relentless waves of Russophobia and cancel culture unleashed by the usual suspects since the start of the Special Military Operation (SMO) in Ukraine in February 2022. I am not a westerner. I am from Eastern Europe and russophile asses like you who try to justify and excuse the pieces of shit who commit daily atrocities are beyond annoying. Russian soldiers and a HUGE chunk of Russians are absolutely pieces of shit who are beyond excited to attack Ukraine and murder innocent people and trying to pretend they are some poor innocent victims who don’t agree with the war but just follow orders(psst that excuse hasn’t worked since WW2) is despicable Also Wagner are not volunteers. They are freaking mercenaries who have committing war crimes all over the world and especially in Africa and they are joined by convicts released from russian prisons to serve as canon fodder So no your precious Russian soldiers are not some innocent lambs who deep down don’t believe in the war . They are as the same monsterous pieces of shit as Wagner. The only difference is that they have crappier training and pay Jesus christ if you weren’t so dumb I would think you were actually a russian bot. “Most of the russian soldiers don’t agree with the war?” Jesus christ the sheer idiocy.
i didnt saw one of these so here is the news

Your support of us is admiring
All Ukrainians appreciate your support, I'm sure about it. The Georgian Legion is the first foreign military that help Ukraine since 2014. I as a person from Donetsk never forget the immense support from Georgians. I wish you only a bright future without Russophiles in the government. Georgia is Europe like Ukraine.
🫂❤️🩹
Fabulous Frank was in Ukraine. Once again. And even in my Lviv.
Today russians also said hello to us with an air raid alarm. This is old news for Ukrainians.
That represents how Ukraine must deal with non-humans... Who call themselves "messiahs".
It always warms fibres of my soul when people in the darkest times and places never forget about caring for the small one❤️🩹 What a loss…
And about the Kharkiv region, by the way.
In two areas in the north of the Kharkiv region, the russians occupied villages in the "gray zone".
They did not reach the main defense line.
As of now, the intensity of the fighting has decreased, due to losses in the assault units of the russians.
The russians are regrouping, and we are preparing, and there will be more attempts to break through the main defense line.
Russian reserves are being pulled up, and we are also taking symmetrical actions. The fighting continues.
It makes me sick to my stomach to think about what these people who have already been under occupation are going through again.
Don't be indifferent. Please hear our cry out to the world, keep spreading our voices, and donate to our army and combat medics (savelife.in.ua, prytulafoundation.org, Serhii Sternenko, hospitallers.life, ptahy.vidchui.org, and u24.gov.ua).

Quit fixating on Putin's nukes FFS.
Donald Trump and his MAGA minions are trying to imply that aid for Ukraine will lead to nuclear war. This is bullshit which is meant to bolster Putin's illegal war of aggression against a peaceful neighbor.
We hear MAGA Russophiles repeat this whenever new aid or new weapons systems are sent to Ukraine. The last time I checked, Putin hasn't nuked San Diego or Memphis. And we have crossed more of Putin's "red lines" than Trump has red neckties.
Even a delusional imperialist like Vladimir Putin understands that the ultimate outcome of any nuclear war would leave him as a shirtless congealed blob of radioactive fat. ⚛
With nuclear option unlikely, Putin struggles to defend his red lines
“There has been an overflow of nuclear threats,” said a Russian official speaking on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the subject. “There is already immunity to such statements, and they don’t frighten anyone.” A Russian academic with close ties to senior Russian diplomats agreed, calling the nuclear option “the least possible” of scenarios, “because it really would lead to dissatisfaction among Russia’s partners in the Global South and also because clearly, from a military point of view, it is not very effective.”
The United States and its NATO allies have no intention of giving nukes to Ukraine.
What we don't hear from scare-mongering MAGA zombies or Putin-friendly tankies is that the war in Ukraine would end immediately if the Russian invaders simply left Ukraine. Anybody who truly wants peace should be telling Russia to get the fuck back to their own country.
This week, Trump and former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wrote in an op-ed for the Hill that a decision to grant Ukraine permission to use Western long-range missiles “would put the world at greater risk of nuclear conflagration than at any time since the Cuban missile crisis” and called for direct negotiations with Moscow instead.
The only thing to "negotiate" with Moscow is a short ceasefire while Russia withdraws all its invading troops. The bottom line is that Russia has no business in Ukraine. The invasion is in violation of numerous international laws, treaties, and memoranda.
As for technology, Russia's means of using ICBMs in nuclear war just ain't what it used to be.
Latest Russian ICBM Test May Have Failed, Satellite Images Suggest
Russia is a third-rate power which happens to have nukes and a lot of empty territory that looks deceptively impressive on a map. Its ability to handle any atomic technology competently is questionable. Even during the glory days of the Soviet Union it gave the world its worst nuclear disaster at Chernobyl in 1986.
Chernobyl is in northern Ukraine which became independent in 1991. Ukrainians had done a good job of cleaning up much of the radioactive mess left by Moscow.
But Russia then temporarily occupied the area around Chernobyl in the early part of the invasion. Russian occupiers there did incredibly stupid things like dig military trenches in radioactive soil and loot radioactive materials to take home as souvenirs.
Russia has few serious competitors for the Darwin Awards this year. 🎖 ⚛️
What we should worry more about is another nuclear accident inside Russia caused by recklessness or incompetence. The sooner Ukraine is victorious, the more likely Russia will be able to tend to its own problems at home.

The ȘOR Party [...] was a populist political party in Moldova.[13] Known from its foundation in 1998 until October 2016 as the Socio-Political Movement "Equality"[...],[14][15] the party held Eurosceptic and Russophilic stances.[16]
The party was closed down in 2023 having been declared unconstitutional.
The party was founded in 1998 by Moldovan politician Valerii Klimenco as the "Socio-Political Movement "Equality".[17][...]
In 2015, the party decided to nominate Ilan Shor for Mayor of the town of Orhei. [...] In October 2016, Shor was elected president of the party, which was renamed Șor Party. In June 2017, the party President, Ilan Shor was sentenced to 7.5 years in jail for fraud. He broke house arrest and fled the country in 2019 whilst appealing the sentence.[20] On 1 December 2018, the party joined the Alliance of Conservatives and Reformists in Europe.[21][...]
The party organized a Victory Day parade in Chișinău on 9 May 2019.[27][...]
The Șor Party was the main instigator of the 2022–2023 Moldovan protests.[28][...]
On 8 November 2022, the Moldovan government requested the constitutional court to initiate proceedings for the outlawing of the party in Moldova, due to it allegedly promoting the interests of a foreign state (Russia) and harming the independence and sovereignty of the country.[29][30]
On 13 April 2023, the appeal court doubled the sentence of party President Ilan Shor in a case linked to the theft of $1 billion in bank assets as well as money laundering, breach of trust, and fraud to 15 years in prison in absentia and froze his assets. Shor was living in Israel at the time of the court ruling after having fled Moldova in 2019.[31][...]
On 19 June 2023, the Șor Party was declared unconstitutional by the Constitutional Court of Moldova.[35][36][37] [...]
On 31 July, the Moldovan parliament voted in favour of banning the leaders of the dissolved Șor Party – including Ilan Shor – from standing in elections for a period of five years.[41] In October the Constitutional Court of Moldova ruled that Article 16 of the Electoral Code is unconstitutional and that former members of the Șor Party can stand for elections.[42][...]
The Party's 2019 programme introduced the following points:[46]
○ Free universal health care.
○ Free education including higher education. Increasing the size and scope of disability benefits, maternity benefits and retirement pensions.
○ The creation of modernised collective farms to work alongside the private sector. Active state intervention in the spheres of infrastructure, transport, energy, communications, housing, pharmaceuticals, etc.
○ The nationalization of foreign-owned energy companies.
○ A commitment to law and order including both reinstating the death penalty for particularly dangerous criminals and addressing the underlying socioeconomic issues that may cause crime.
○ A commitment to Moldovan independence and military neutrality.
The opening paragraphs of the party's 2008 election programme stated that it viewed the average person's quality of life as superior under the Soviet Union when compared to modern times. It further stated that it viewed Moldova's alleged socio-economic problems as relating to Moldova's negative relationship with the Russian Federation.[47]

of course communist scumbags would rather listen to russians than to Ukrainians
"Uplift marginalized voices", "no justice no peace" and decolonization are all cool ideas that leftists preach UNLESS ITS ABOUT UKRAINE AND UKRAINIANS
We have translated two statements from clandestine anarchist groups in Russia about the mutiny of the Wagner company and what it means for the future of the country.
One is the Movement of Irkutsk Anarchists; the other is the Combat Organization of Anarcho-Communists.
You can read them here:

You know, I challenge this assertion that "the people of serbia", the Vucic-voting, Russia-loving, homophobic, islamophobic rabble who would at the drop of a hat level Kosovo is NATO wasn't enforcing their discipline... know what's best for them or the world? Like excuse me for taking the word of Brussels over the word of the people who wanted to wipe out the Albanians. If you heard any Albanian person talk about Kosovars, or muslims, or Jews or gay people, you'd realize defending these people are not the hill you want to die on. Some of these balkan nations need to be dragged into civilization kicking and screaming.
I hear you yell imperialism! Do you realize there wouldn't be a Kosovar alive today if NATO hadn't bombed the serbians into controlling their genocidal impulses? Have you ever MET a mainland serbian? Or are you just acting from USamerican """enlightened""" values of shallow anti-imperialism and principled opposition to all bad things equally. Do you have ANY idea how violently xenophobic, chauvinistic and russophile Serbs are? How quickly they'd genocide all Romani people given the opportunity?
So yes. The EU DOES need to extend influence in there, and keep China out. Unironically, unimpeachably. We can steer the EU towards a more humane future with legitimate elections we can trust. China is a dictatorship answerable only to Chairman Xi. It isn't sinophobic to accept this.
"I think large countries shouldn't impose on others. Imperialism bad" Child. The empires are already out there. Principles will not keep them out. Compromise will
Sir and/or madam this is a blog on the internet.
And the only reason im not an anarchist is I want there to be a government for public works (sewers, roads, water treatment, etc) and safety regulations (workplace safety laws, food and drug purity laws, etc)
Shut up

Alya date outfit is so freaking cute. Nice to get an episode with the two of them hanging out for once. Even though I like Masha more, their chemistry is so good and it’s always a fun time seeing Kuze and Alya banter back and forth.
I love how Kuze has just accepted Alya flirting with him in Russian as part of the daily routine, to the point that when she hasn’t done it for a while after the awkward phone call he starts to miss it lol.
Poor Yuki had to go so long without her brocon gimmick she’s having withdrawals
Kuze apologising for the hypnosis to Masha was really cute, she might be older but she’s still a girl! The pouty face was so adorable.
Masachika grandad being a Russophile was hilarious, meets Alya once and already want her to join the family. Alya’s mom not much better 😂 I see where Yuki and Masha get a lot of their personality from.
That cliffhanger though! Looks like Kuze and his mom have some making up to do.

Low level Ukrainian Air Force Su-27 Flanker operations, Ukraine, 2023. Source: OSINTtechnical
P.S. The active phase of the war in Ukraine has been going on for almost two years now, and despite the hopes of the Kremlin and corrupt Russophiles, Ukraine's numerically small military aviation continues to operate quite successfully, destroying the Russian army. By delaying the delivery of modern long-range missiles, aviation weapons and advanced aircraft to Ukraine, the West made a huge strategic mistake...

As a Ukrainian, what do you think will happen on the territories of Eastern Ukraine that were occupied since 2014 after they are liberated? There seems a hostility between people who lived on those occupied lands and Ukrainians, how do you think this demographic problem will be solved?
Thankyou for replying in advance!
That is a very tough question and the discussions around it are intense. I will retell some of the ideas I see thrown around, but full disclosure it is something most people would struggle answering, I think. So, apologies if this will be one of those posts that are tough to read - I struggled a lot puting my thoughts into words with this. Also, I don't have faith that the solutions that are offered today would be fullfilled without any fuck-ups on the way.
Allthough it is true that the majority of the people who chose to keep living in DNR/LNR are pro-russian, there still are those who remained loyal to Ukraine and are waiting for liberation. The dichotomy between "patriotic/nationalistic spiritual West" and "russophile bydlo East" is a false one. + I expect there will be people who fled Donbas in 2014 and will want to return home after its liberation. What I'm trying to say is, there are many people we will be able to rely on with solving the question of "what to do with Donbas after the reoccupation".
[image description: a flyer found in Donetsk in 2023 stating "Donetsk is Ukraine"]
[image description: a tweet with the following text: "When people say «listen to Donbas», for some reason everyone perceives this as «listen to those who support russia». But what about us, people from Donetsk, Luhansk, who remained loyal to Ukraine? What about us, who fled from occupation back in 2014? Who joined the army? We also need to be heard! We can name the streets after ukrainian heroes, we can lead the region! Ironically, the ukrainians who have lead to this scenario have already fled to russia long time ago or are dead. Indeed, the nature is cleaning itself."]
2. That being said, there is still an issue of the civillian population that has been loyal to russia. Best case scenario, which will probably not come to life, we will need some kind of deideologization zone; something akin to the post-ww2 denazification in Germany. Ideally it would involve a lot of educational projects aimed at opening the people's eyes to the fact that they've been lied to for 10 years (and, realistically speaking, their entire life - the propaganda started decades before the war).
Following the Germany's example, this will involve the decisions that will definitely make some anti-ukrainian polticians decry us as nazi - like withholding the voting rights for some period of time, withholding the rights to take up administrative positions, etc. etc. And I am sorry, but this is a necessary step we need to make if we want to secure our existance as a country in the future. We still 100% be required to ensure the human dignity of every person living on the territory of Ukraine and act in accordance to the UN declarations. But sometimes we need to put the collective interest above the individual one, especially when it comes to our literal survival as a group. But even if this project will happen as I have described, which I doubt, we still need to accept that there will be people who'll remain loyal to putin to the end of their days but will want to live where they are. If we manage to build a strong government and if russia falls apart by then, then they won't cause much of a problem. Otherwise, they will be a source of danger to the existance of Ukraine as a nation, and we'll need to think about using the revocation of citizenship, which will also sound horrible to our critics, even though it has a rich legitemate precedence.
3. People who have held administrative positions or were related to any type of propagandistic activity (e.g. teaching russian version of history in schools) are, according to law, collaborators, and will need to be put to trial as such. But everybody else - say, pensioneers, shop assistants, doctors etc. - are not considered collaborators under the international laws we all agreed on, even if they had to accept russian passports (which people are often forced to in order to receive food/medical help), and therefore do not need to fear that they will be presecuted as "collaborators" by law (this part I am actually pretty confident we'll do fine, we have had very lenient track record so far).
Overall it is a very complex topic where any mistake has a high price, and we for sure will need to create trustworthy legal organs to answer the societal request for justice. I have found one article which goes into more detail, and frankly is more well-versed in this topic than I am. What are the chances that this will go smoothly without any bumps on the way? Uuuuugh
4. There also is a problem of rebuilding the region which has been ravaged by war for a decade. Even before the invasion, Donbas has been the poorest region in Ukraine. Poverty breeds crime, crime breeds corruption, and corruption is a wide open door for russian KGBists. If we want to protect ourselves from anyone using our internal issues against us in the future, we will need to tackle them at their root. In my wildest dreams, I see rebuilding Donbas with the engagement of foreign investors into the biggest Ukrainian centre of scientific development - STEM research, engeineering, space science etc. (And, of course, a huge demilitarization zone on the border with a row of automatic turrets along the wall). But I know that this dream is very unrealistic and a slow depopulation and degradation of the region, alas, is a much more realistic scenario.
5. If you mean the personal animosity between people who have been living under occupied territories vs from free Ukraine... I don't know. Since 2014, there for sure has been discrimination towards the refugees to the east, and I do not expect the situation to be much difficult now - even if we somehow manage to take russian informational intervention out of the picture. In the end, it will depend on the governmental decisions and if they manage to build a good reintegration programme, which falls down to finding the correct people to do the job. I sincerely believe that there are people like that. I do not know if they will be able to overcome the corruption on their way.
There are also ecological issues which is a whole another can of worms I will not even touch today.
I do not remember if I've recommended this movie yet, but Atlantis by Valentyn Vasyanovych tries to respond the very same question of "what to do with Donbas after reoccupation". I think it is a great movie that tackles a lot of societal fears and frustrations, and the picture it paints is much less optimistic than what I've written here. It is a bit of arthousey, but still worth the watch. Give it a change, if you have time and opportunity.
youtube
In short, I unironically believe that the hardest work for Ukraine will start after we win the war.
