Gentle: CHOI SEUNG-HYUN x READER
summary: you come home after a long day of work and seung-hyun takes care of you
word count: 1432
tags: fluff; extremely self-indulgent (you work as a film production assistant) kinda basic but i wrote this half-asleep
ao3 link
Tumblr media
Another day at work meant another night of crashing as soon as the front door to your home shut behind you for the night—not after discarding your stuffy, professional clothes as soon as possible, of course. Today had been particularly difficult.
Being a production assistant meant the director felt entitled to bark orders at you left and right, the assistant directors acting all high and mighty, not to mention the producers with their ‘holier-than-thou’ attitudes. Your body weighed down by hours of standing, lifting, running back and forth under the harsh glare of the lighting rig; your muscles throb with a dull ache, your head foggy from the endless problem-solving and last-minute changes thrown your way. It was too much. All you want is to collapse—to let go of the tension gripping your shoulders, to shut your eyes and forget how long today dragged on.
The moment you step through the door, you feel like you’ll get your wish—to collapse. Every muscle in your body protests as you force yourself to toe off your shoes, your movements sluggish and drained. Before you can take another step, a warm hand catches your wrist.
“Hey.” Seung-hyun’s voice is soft but firm, his brows knitting together as he studies your face. “You look exhausted.”
You manage a small nod, but words feel like too much effort. Instead, you just let out a quiet sigh, your shoulders sagging. He doesn’t push for a response. Instead, he gently tugs you forward, wrapping his arms around you without hesitation. His hold is steady, grounding—one arm around your waist, the other smoothing up and down your back in slow, soothing strokes.
It breaks him a little to see you like this—to watch the way you barely manage to nod, too drained to even form words. He has always admired your dedication, your ability to push through anything, but right now, all he can see is how much it’s costing you. The dark circles under your eyes, the slump of your shoulders, the way you just melt into his arms as if you don’t have the strength to hold yourself up anymore. It isn’t fair. You work so hard, give so much, and yet, no one seems to notice how much it takes from you. But he notices. And he hates that he can’t take that exhaustion away, that all he can do is hold you and hope you’ll let him ease even a little of the weight pressing down on you.
“You’re overworking yourself again, aren’t you?” He murmurs, his voice low, laced with quiet concern. “You need to slow down, aein.”
You nod again against his chest, unable to argue—not because you don’t agree, but because you’re too tired to say anything at all. He exhales, his grip tightening just a little as if trying to absorb the weight you’re carrying.
“Alright,” he whispers, pressing a lingering kiss to the top of your head. “No more talking, no more thinking. Just let me take care of you tonight.”
And for the first time all day, you let yourself lean into the comfort he offers, too exhausted to do anything else.
He doesn’t say anything as he leads you into the bathroom, but his hand stays firm around yours, his thumb brushing soothing circles against your skin. The sound of rushing water fills the space as he leans over the tub, adjusting the temperature with practiced ease. Steam curls into the air, carrying the faint scent of lavender—calming, warm, inviting.
“You don’t have to do this,” you murmur, trying not to get emotional about how gentle he’s being with you.
He glances at you over his shoulder, his expression soft but unwavering. “I know,” he says simply. “But I want to.”
Once the bath is full, he turns back to you, his fingers moving to the hem of your shirt. He undresses you with a tenderness that makes your chest ache—not rushed, not expectant, just careful, making sure you move as little as possible. When you finally sink into the water, a long sigh slips from your lips, the warmth wrapping around your aching muscles like a promise. Then, he kneels beside the tub, rolling up his sleeves before reaching for the washcloth. He runs it over your skin with slow, deliberate strokes, tracing over your shoulders, your arms, down to your hands, his touch reverent. Every movement is delicate, as if he’s afraid of pressing too hard, of adding even the smallest bit of strain to your already exhausted body.
He reaches for the shampoo and tilts your head back slightly, his fingers threading through your hair with delicate attention. As he massages your scalp, working the lather in slow, rhythmic circles, warmth seeps into your bones, lulling you into a haze of exhaustion and comfort. His touch is so gentle, so methodical, that your eyelids grow heavy before you even realize it. Your breathing slows, your body sinking deeper into the water, and just as you start to drift off—
“Are you seriously falling asleep right now?”
Your eyes flutter open, and you blink up at him, still dazed. “…No.”
Seung-hyun smirks, clearly unconvinced. “Mhm, sure. That cute little head tilt? The way you just sighed? You were definitely about to pass out on me.” His fingers keep massaging slow circles against your scalp, his voice filled with quiet amusement. “Am I that relaxing?”
You groan, embarrassed, and attempt to sit up, but he gently presses you back into place. “Stay still,” he chides, still grinning. “I’m almost done.”
The moment you step out of the tub, he’s already waiting with a soft, oversized towel, wrapping it around you before you can even shiver. His hands move with quiet care, gently patting away the droplets clinging to your skin. He doesn’t rush, doesn’t push—just takes his time, making sure you’re warm and comfortable.
“You’re like a sleepy kitten,” he murmurs with a small smile, watching as you sway slightly in exhaustion. “Barely standing on your own.”
You hum in response, too tired to argue, and he chuckles, wrapping an arm around you to steady you. “Alright, let’s get you dressed before you collapse on me.”
He then leads you to the bedroom, where a set of warm pajamas is already laid out on the bed—your softest pair, the one you always reach for when you need comfort. He helps you into them with the same quiet attentiveness, guiding your arms through the sleeves, pulling the fabric over your shoulders, making sure you don’t have to lift a finger.
Once you’re dressed, he sits you down on the edge of the bed, positioning himself behind you as he grabs a towel and starts drying your hair. His fingers comb through the damp strands with gentle precision, his touch slow and methodical. Every now and then, he ruffles your hair playfully, just to hear you mumble a sleepy protest.
“You’re going to fall asleep on me again, aren’t you?” He teases, amusement lacing his voice.
“No,” you grumble, but your body betrays you, leaning into his touch, eyelids fluttering.
“Let’s get you comfy, then.”
Without another word, he lifts you effortlessly, carrying you over to the bed. He settles you beneath the blankets before climbing in beside you, pulling you against his chest as he reaches for the remote.
“Movie night,” he announces, keeping his voice low, soothing.
“I’m not sure I even wanna think about movies right now,” you partially joked.
“With the way you keep almost falling asleep, I bet you’ll barely last ten minutes.” He returned with a soft laugh.
You try to huff in protest, but as the warmth of his embrace surrounds you and the soft glow of the screen flickers in the dimly lit room, you know he’s right. Honestly? Who could really blame you for falling asleep in your sweetheart-of-a-boyfriend’s arms after he’s taken such attentive care of you? He spent the entire night making sure you felt nothing but comfort, from the way he washed your hair to the way he dressed you in your coziest pajamas, to the way he’s holding you now—safe, cherished, adored. His fingers absentmindedly trace gentle patterns along your back, his heartbeat a steady rhythm beneath your ear. The exhaustion that once weighed you down now feels lighter, replaced by something softer, something sweeter. And as your lashes flutter shut, you swear you hear him murmur something against your temple—something tender, something that makes your heart melt even as sleep finally pulls you under.

I just read Kitsune reader x yan Scaramouche's fic, may I have gotten hooked on it? and of course, it's just perfect and that's why I'm here to lose a part two with nsfw, thank you in advance and understand if you refuse:3
Link to Part 1
Summary - Taking you captive, Scaramouche continues to see you as a pillar of support. Coming back home to have you there, always. Even if it meant chaining you up.
Pairings - F!Kitsune!Reader x Yan!Scaramouche
Warnings - Smut, slight noncon ( I tried to make it as consensual as possible but its difficult with yandere themes ), fingering, electricity play
Rating - NSFW
Penpal - Ahhh I'm actually beginning to get attached to this series, might end up writing a couple more posts with different hc and stuff. I hope you liked the post though, have a great day <3
A/N - The literal definition of the ‘stoic cruel boy who’s mean to everyone but you.’ Oh well, Scaramouche is ooc af, but I did change a few things in his backstory so its supposed to make sense for this story ;) Also- since we dont know Scaramouche’s actual name, I have the reader still… yknow, call him Scaramouche. Which is kinda weird cause its his harbinger name but oh well. Also, credit to @cycletr4in for proofreading it ;3

Stay with Me pt.2
Scaramouche was a gentle captor.
In contrast to piercing eyes and harsh stares when it came to others, he had a soft spot for you. Like the ice that encased him whole melted at your touch, craving for the warmth only you could give him. For your arms around him, to play pretend and imagine he were a child, free, fearless, unbound. A child in your arms, safe and protected.
But you were held hostage, which meant that the chains around your wrists and legs held you down and secured you. Like you were bound to one spot like you’d always been, except this time you didn't have a choice.
You weren't waiting for the Kitsune Saiguu.
Hell, you didn't even have your vision.
This brought on resentment for the dark haired boy. You hated him, you despised him for holding you down under his own judgment. But at the same time, all you saw in him was a child, a little kid who hadn't had the time to grow up. The one who refused to do so because it was his only way to survive in the type of world he lived in. Hide behind that same facade he developed as a kid, snide remarks and unrelenting cruelty.
Just to come back to your arms, sobbing because he was still that child. Sobbing because he was still hurt. Sobbing because you were still his beacon of light, of hope.
He depended on you.
And as much as you built up harsh words to use against him, they dissolved in your mouth when you saw him. His vulnerability that he saved for you and you only. A deep part of you cared for him, a little too much.
Gentle fingers brushed through the locks of Scaramouche’s hair, twirling it around and playing with the strands. It was smooth, a small detail no one would have the chance to notice from the distance he put around himself and others. A quiet hum left his lips as he leaned against your chest, eyes fluttering closed against the soothing feeling of you against him.
The lavish silk sheets were soft against your skin, pillow pushing your form to sit up. Just enough to have Scaramouche in your arms, knees on either side of his body as his head rested under your chin. His chest rose and descended, almost on beat with yours, if not just a tad slower.
You hoped he wouldn't hear the way your heart thrummed against your chest.
Warmth, his body flushed against yours, the luxury of a bed and the small candlelight on your bedside. Different from what you’d grown into just on the side of the trail, sitting for decades. Or with your time with the Kitsune Saiguu, it was never this warm, never this gentle.
But this warmth ended at your beating heart, furiously blazing. Sending an urge of adrenaline through your body, whispering ‘run’ through your veins. A primal urge that would've had your hands around Scaramouche’s neck, till he was wrangling and dead.
Till you could escape.
Hand slowly sliding down his jawline, you let your gentle fingers ghost along the soft skin of his neck. Claws outstretched and ready, sharp and pointed with a deadly intent to kill. You could end him so quickly, overturn his trust and make an escape. You deserved it, you deserved freedom. Not a delusional boy who thought himself protector against someone who’s lived decades more than him.
Jolting at the sensation of a soft grip on your wrist, you watched with idle fascination as he simply cupped your wrist in his hold. Not stopping you, not restraining you, he simply brought your hand to his face. To his lips where he pressed the softest of kisses into your palm. So heartfelt and genuine that all you could do was freeze, not even considering clawing his face.
“I love you.”
You both stayed in that position for a few moments more, silence cradling the tension that slowly dissipated from your body. Forlorn eyes watching as he shift the angle of your wrist to kiss your fingertips. He wasn't waiting for an answer, basking in these soft moments where he could hide in your hold. Like a child, forced to grow up too quickly, yearning back for his foolish naivety, yearning for the childhood he missed.
You were that childhood.
Which is why he clung to you so dearly, showed expressions he didnt know he could make, hold you captive under the impression that it was ‘right.’ What he was doing was okay.
Claws retracted, you pursued your lips, holding back the tears of frustration that burned at your eyes. You hated him, hated him for the chains on your wrists, for the disappearance of your vision that you’d given so much value to. Hated him for the warmth he still made you feel.
You hated him.
You felt like a housewife in some respects. Not with the cleaning and cooking part, and of course no children were part of the equation. But in terms of support, you stayed rooted to that room, loose chains too strong for you to break or tug holding you down. Window was too far, and you were stuck moving around the bed and the desk that sat just a little farther away.
Attempts at having your vision back or more freedom in movement had been discussed with Scaramouche, but as childlike and free as he acted with you, he was not an idiot.
“I don’t plan on underestimating you,” was his answer, head resting on the plush of your chest. “You’re strong, always were. But I have to take extremes to make sure you don’t get hurt, some people out there are stronger than you.”
You wanted to point out that there were a ton of people stronger than him as well, but you kept your mouth shut. “Can I at least see the house? I’ve been cooped up here for so long…”
And he cant say no to such an innocent request as that right?
So he unlocks the chains, the vision at his side reminding you that he was strong. You solely knew that he’d been tough as a kid, and under the intensive training he’d seemed to endure, he was much much stronger. You werent willing to give it a go and lose his trust just yet.
Not like he really trusted you anyways-
At the very least, you’d hoped to get some sort of blueprint of the house, and all you’d received was confusion and your mind making up that the house itself was a maze.
“Didnt we… just pass through here?”
Glancing at the obvious frustration on your face, Scaramouche chuckled, pulling your arm through the hallways you swear you’d seen three times prior. “Nope, most of the hallways look pretty similar. The house wasn't built for dumbasses.”
You flashed him a look and were about to make some snideish rebuttal before you saw the smirk. You knew what he was doing, trying to comfort you with casual arguments you both used to have. Consisting of you telling him to work on his people skills, and him calling you a lazy ass. Of course you missed it, but you also knew you couldn't go back to it.
And then there was the issue when you learned that he was a harbinger.
A scene you didnt want to replay in your head, when a maid burst into your room, Scaramouche acting a tad more intimate. He had an awful tendency to do that, hug your waist and press his face against the crook of your neck. Press gentle kisses down the length of your shoulder that had you shuddering. You weren't used to intimacy, and considering you’d watched him grow up, it was just weird.
Stuttering, the maid had demanded that he was requested by the Tsarista. You’d seen the fear in her eyes when Scaramouche slowly turned to her, seen the unshakable immobility of standing under his gaze.
“Do not enter.” He said, “It’s on the door.”
That was the first time you’d seen Scaramouche kill.
You hoped it’d be the last.
But you’d seen death before, so much death in the time of the Kitsune Saiguu. And for a few seconds, you found yourself fearless as you yanked against the chains, yelling at his figure at the doorway.
“Tsarista?” You snarled, standing just a few feet away from him. His hand on the girls neck, clenching around the pretty skin of hers. Disgusted, the chains that held you back from closing the gap and throwing the girl away from him were impossible to overcome. “Why the hell does she need you?!”
‘Let go,’ you wanted to say. ‘Let her go, she’s going to die.’
It worked, because the ironclad grip was gone, the maid tumbling to the ground lifelessly. You’d been too late, and now her blood was on his hands, your hands. This was your fault and you had half the self control not to thrash against the chains with sharp claws, hands on his neck.
The hard steel gaze vanished in an instant, and like he’d regained his senses, he took a few steps to you. Hands clenching to fists before loosening to fingertips brushing against his palms. Confusion, regret and guilt clouded his features like a child waiting to be reprimanded. You didn't back away, stood firm and fierce when standing and keeping a tough front.
You wanted to cry.
“Its… its a long story.” He finally stated to your question, and when you didnt budge, he took a deep breath. In control again, he closed the distance between the two of you, “I’m sorry.” And that same thrum of electricity jolted through your body, sending you into a spiral of the girls lifeless eyes and Scaramouche’s childlike eyes. Till everything went black.
You woke up with the body gone. Scaramouche was gone as well.
You learned that Scaramouche liked to have things his way. Which meant that he was always in control, always had control of every situation.
Even in those short stretches of vulnerability when he rested in your arms, he still held something over you. And you had to adapt, shift for his wishes, coddle him and stay as his beacon. Because he was stronger, and even if you’d find some way to escape, he would find you.
It was odd, and you slowly let go of the image of him as a child, you knew he was a lot older. He’d probably reached the age your body was stuck in, and with every sweet kiss he pressed to your lips, you knew he saw you as some sort of lover. But as someone who wasn't in control, you simply had to play along, just until you found some way to make your escape.
Without killing him.
_-_-_-_-_
“Strip.”
Laying on one side of the bed, your eyes jolted open at the commanding voice. Slowly, you sat up, eyeing the dim figure at the doorway. Without the help of a candle or the moonlight at the window, you could distinguish Scaramouche at the doorway, taking off the large headpiece as he flung it to the ground.
“Excuse me…?” Your voice was soft, rusty after an evening nap.
“I’ll make you feel good,” was his only answer. Slowly making his way to the bedside till he could properly face you. His eyes were soft, but there was an odd sort of determination that you hadnt seen before. You held back his stare, confusion lacing your features when he suddenly started pulling off loose decorations that hung on his clothes. Just till he unlaced the vest and slid off his shirt. “Don’t worry.” But you didnt know quite what he meant until he leaned further to you, catching you off guard.
So you yelped when his hands suddenly slammed down on your shoulders, shifting you to have access to the buttons of your top layer. He was quick when undoing them, simply swatting away at your hands when you protested and tried to pull him away. Throwing it to the edge of the room when he was done, you could only thrash in horror when he undid your trousers just as quickly, pulling them down before you could grab them back up.
“Scaramouche? Hey-”
And then he threw you down on the bed, exposing you in your undergarments in the cool air of the room. Shivers crept up your spine and bristled across your skin, and before you could curl up to at the very least hide away, you felt a tug at your chains. Fear finally settled in when you saw Scaramouche attach the chain to the bedpost, until your hand was lifted up and he began to do the same to the other.
“Wait wait wait, stop and explain what you’re-”
Only then did he pause from what he was doing, slowly looking down to properly face you. His eyes slid up and down your body, and he took a step towards you. “I’ll make you feel good,” were his only words, and you were forced to take them as all he was planning on giving you. Only when he sat on the bed next to you did you realize what he meant, hand settling on your shoulder, waiting.
“Alright,” you said slowly. Painfully, the words bit your tongue, but you were merciless against someone who had control against the situation. You could say no and you knew Scaramouche would stop, he was gentle to you and you only. And even if he’d been firm just before, you knew that he’d still stop if you asked him to.
A part of you felt thrilled to have that power over him.
Another part of you just wanted to escape.
But you didnt have any hope to do so unless you were willing too give him everything. Because he expected everything and would do anything in his power to obtain it. You’d let him fiddle around with this delusion, thinking that he had control. Until he didnt.
Which is why you didnt flinch when his hand gently slid up your stomach, cold against the warmth you’d had under the blankets. Rubbing gingerly against your skin and drawing smooth shapes over before he slowly slid over your body. His eyes seemed to glint under the darkness of the room, lust filled and wanting.
You didnt shift uncomfortably, you pretended to be that doll he expected you to be.
Just staring up at him as he slowly leaned down to kiss you. His lips felt like snowflakes on a winters day, idly swaying side to side to catch one in your mouth. Jolting like electricity when they melted into your touch, red and swollen when he pulled back. You now vividly felt every touch, as if a current flowed and static jittered in the places he briefly brushed his fingertips.
“You always take such good care of me,” he breathed, lips slowly drifting down your chin. Just past your jawline and right on your neck. The space between your head and shoulder, a soft vulnerable spot that had your lips humming at the affectionate pressure. “Its my turn to take care of you.”
And then his lips were everywhere, collarbone, shoulders, cleavage. Just until his teeth were tugging off your bra, face nuzzled in between both breasts. Both of his hands now resided on your hips, grabbing both thighs to hold them up and against him. You could feel him hard, pressing so close to your heated core.
You managed to keep your reactions in check.
Just until he slowly grinded against you, mouth on your breasts as he again pecked the soft mounds, molding his lips against them as if he could remember the texture, memorize the feel. It was just to that point that mindless sounds slipped past your lips, turning to gasps when his hands on your thighs suddenly buzzed, and static rushed in. Your legs felt weak, entire body thrumming in response to the electricity he sent jolting.
He was using his vision.
The realization was numb against his lips on your breasts, hands slowly stroking the skin of your sides, travelling up. He hovered over you for mere seconds before mashing his lips against you once more, different. He was no longer gentle, and it was with the contact on your tail that you lost all control. When he gently moved it out of the way, backing up.
You were a mess.
Not that you tried to be, you’d been doing your best not to enjoy his touch. But it was hard when your core heated up so fast, mashing both legs together in hopes he wouldn't notice. You knew he would, any action beyond that was just you trying to save your dignity.
He sat there like he was enjoying the sight, the first time you’d seen him actually portray any visual confirmation of satisfaction towards the chains. He’d drink dry any ounce of control you gave him, and it was impossible not to give him it all when you were visionless and vulnerable.
But the dignity you struggled so hard to keep shattered when his hands brushed against your inner thigh.
Fingers slowly made their way to the padded fabric of your undergarments, two digits rubbing the area slowly with expertise. You bit your lip, muffling any groan of anticipation, hiding the way your hips tried to rock back into the gesture. Desperate, oh so desperate. Hiding back the whimpers as he slowly quickened the pace of his fingers against your garments. “Archons Y/n,” he murmured. “I haven't even put anything in and you’re already a squirming mess.”
“Shut u-up,” was all you managed, trying to shift away from the pressure against your clit. But his other hand was on your hip, holding in place. You could only watch and press your thighs tightly together as he slowly slid down your panties, resuming hovering over you. Distracting you with kisses, his fingers gently stroked your core, two fingers slowly sliding into your cunt using your juices.
He was gentle when pumping both fingers in and out, too slow when you thrust your hips to meet his fingers, pleading for him to go faster. But he liked hearing your cries, slowing down when you begged, quickening when you whined and just lay there, taking it.
You shuddered the first time electricity jolted from his digits.
It was when he had three fingers that he sent the static up your body, back arching with such intensity that it even had him chuckling. “Oh? You like it that much?” And then it is like something buzzed against your body, fingers vibrating against your clit as your thighs tightened around his hand. So much that you thought you’d crush it, but it didn't matter, not with the electrifying feeling against your body. It felt so odd, so overwhelmingly good that it had your legs sliding up and down the bedside, toes curling as the static grew and you fell paralyzed to his touch.
It didn't take long with his fingers thrusting in and out of you to cum. Moaning mess when he gave you the time to breathe, teeth biting your bottom lip and then mashing against yours. Your eyes grew fuzzy and most happened in a haze, and all you knew the entire time was that you’d given yourself to him, and that it felt good. You couldn't see the childlike wonder in his eyes anymore, not the need of a beacon or of support. No, the look he shared was feral, the smile tinting his lips almost scary. But it felt too good to care, and you let yourself enjoy his ministrations.
He pulled out and suddenly his own shorts were undone, boxers thrown to the side of the room just like all your other clothing. You didn't see how big he was, just felt his hard shaft against your throbbing cunt, pussy dripping and legs open wide and tired after your first go at it.
You expected him to be gentle like he’d been with his fingers. But he pressed the tip against your core, and in one full motion he was in. Teeth grinding against each other, you held back a scream, shock coursing through your body, overwhelmed with pain and discomfort. It hurt. But it was quickly overshadowed by his movements as he slid in and out of you, slow when pulling his hips back, and rocking himself completely inside you each time. A pattern that let you catch your breath and lose it all the same. Like he was continuously having a go at hitting the deepest parts of you, pulling back before fully thrusting into you and sending waves of pleasure and pain alike.
It was expected, but you couldnt hear yourself.
Not with your mind trapped in a haze of how he felt, body still buzzing after how he’d pulsed his vision through you. And now you were at the mercy of his member, hips swaying along with his, no energy for you to rock with him and try to push him deeper.
Archons, you didn't even think he could go deeper.
But you were proven wrong again and again as he kept the steady pace, hands clawing at your ass and hips. Stabilizing himself and trying to press himself against you, as far as he could go. Slowly, his hands drifted up to your hair, playing with the soft sensation of your furry ears. Pinching and rubbing, fingers coaxing the back of them like a massage. So gentle, but it paled in comparison to the harsh treatment of his dick.
You came first, gripping the chain with your hands in an attempt to stay stable. Walls clenching around him one last time before you got your release, your moans turning into cries when he continued to thrust into you. Your body felt numb, all nerves centred on the way he pounded into you, chasing his own release.
When he did, he pressed his head into your chest, his own breaths heavy with pleasure. Not pulling out, you could only lay there helplessly as his seed filled you, warm in contrast to the electricity he’d shot up your body just earlier. He didnt pull out, and laying in your chest, your heavy breathing didnt stop until he was asleep, collapsing on you and using you as support yet again.
Taking only a minute later to regain control of your senses, you shifted uncontrollably at his member inside of you, sending waves of pleasure every time you moved. Your wrists were restrained and you were stuck in this position till morning.
Achingly, you looked down at the boy, wondering how you would ever manage to escape.

“Oh, you want to come so bad you’re crying? You desperate, pathetic whore. You’re so fucking filthy, have you no shame?” Loki sneered, the words sending arousal pooling deep in your belly, even though you fought against it. Your body jolted at the slap administered to your inner thigh, a pained cry escaping your lips.
You’d been acting up and testing Loki’s patience, which is what earned you this punishment, your pleasure being dangled in front of you, just out of reach. You’d broken his rules, and he’d had enough of your attitude.
“Come now before I change my mind,” Loki’s tone was dangerous, and the pressure inside of you shattered. He followed your lead, finishing inside of you before he pulled out and made the restraints vanish.
As the pleasure wore off, his words echoing in your mind, You desperate, pathetic whore. You’re so fucking filthy, have you no shame?
Loki stood off of the bed, going to run you a hot shower. As soon as he’d stepped away, a sob tore through your chest, your shoulders heaving as you cried. You curled up in a ball, feeling small and alone on his massive bed.
Loki heard you crying, and he felt like his heart was being ripped out of his chest. He abandoned the shower and ran to your side, kneeling down on the bed. You looked so tiny and fragile, folding in on yourself. His chest ached when he heard your soft sounds and saw the way your hands trembled as you tugged at your hair, trying to self-soothe. He reached out to pull your hands away, wanting to keep you from anxiously tearing the hair from your sensitive head.
“My darling-” his voice cracked when you jerked away from him. You hiccuped on your broken sobs as they wrecked you, emotion flooding every last thought and turning you into a mess.
Loki’s magic sparked around you, cleaning you up and leaving you both in loose clothing. The green shimmer surrounded you, Loki’s fruitless attempt to touch you without frightening you. It was warm, and seemed to buzz with its own life, but didn’t make you feel any better.
“My darling, have I hurt you? Tell me whatever is wrong so that I may fix it,” Loki begged, wanting nothing more than to pull you into his arms.
“Don’t touch me, please,” you tried to catch your breath, wanting to get your keys and leave.
He sank back, giving you space. His eyes were concerned and sad, and he fought against the urge to pierce into your mind, ripping the truth from you. The door vanished from the wall as you tried to run out, and you whipped around to face the god, who was kneeling on the bed and looking wounded. There was no exit, Loki keeping you contained to the bedroom until your devastation was resolved.
“Y/N, I won’t let you leave when you’re so upset. You cannot drive safely. If you wish, I can take you anywhere you want to go,” Loki fretted, and though you knew he was right, you only grew more and more upset.
“Come to me, darling,” Loki opened his arms, the authority in his voice making you comply. You knew this was a fight you couldn’t win. You’d end up in Loki’s arms confessing your pain whether by his will, or your own.
Your sobs broke his heart, and he slowly wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you down into his lap. He held you firmly, and eventually your struggling subsided as you let yourself weep against his chest.
“Please don’t make me pry the truth out of you,” Loki begged softly into your hair. He didn’t want to add to your pain, he only wanted to fix it. He was very aware that sifting through your mind to take your private thoughts was something that made you feel extremely violated. He wanted you to tell him on your own, but he wouldn’t let you keep such heartbreaking secrets from him.
“Y-you... did you mean what you said about me? That I was pathetic, and d-desperate and a whore?” You sobbed out, stammering over your words.
“Oh, oh my goodness. My darling, I am so sorry. I never meant any of that. I thought you understood I just said it in the scene... please my love, I adore you more than all of the stars. Never think you are not the most perfect, beautiful, eloquent, and lovely person in my eyes. I love you, I will never say such horrible things again.” Tears flowed freely down Loki’s face. You were startled, unused to seeing raw emotion from him, especially not guilt. It hadn’t occurred to you that the words Loki had spoken were just part of the scene, part of the sex you were having. He wasn’t typically fond of degradation, but he was experimenting in the moment, never expecting it to be received as genuine.
There was no room for doubt in his words. He meant his love then, and he would spend the rest of his life proving his love to you.
His strong arms cradled you against his body, trying to hold you together.
“I’m so sorry, so sorry,” he breathed apologies like a repetitive prayer.
You listened to his heartbeat, letting the rhythm slow your racing mind. Your sobs eventually subsided, calmed by the steady circles of his hand on your back.
“I forgive you,” your lips moved against the underside of his jaw.
“Please always stop me, tell me then, if anything at all makes you feel even the slightest bit unsafe. I never want you to feel this way again, certainly not at my fault,” Loki begged, and you nodded before burying your face back in him.
“Do you still love me?”
“I love you the most,” you promised.
Loki talked you into staying the night, doting on you to the point you were almost smothered. His magic conjured everything you wanted, even in the back of your thoughts.
“Do you want to go get some?” He asked, and you turned, tilting your head in confusion.
“To Paris. For the macarons.”
“You’re reading my thoughts,” you sighed softly, but a smile graced your expression as you kissed him.
“No, I’m sleepy. Maybe tomorrow?” You asked, and he nodded, sweeping you off your feet and carrying you back to bed.
You situated yourself in his arms, your back against his chest. His larger frame shielded you, wrapping you in safety and warmth. You slept soundly with him, the pain and uncertainty from the afternoon long gone and replaced by his love.
The smell of coffee rose you out of your sleep. Your eyes took a few moments to adjust to the soft light spilling in through the windows, and you sat up, suddenly realizing you weren’t in Loki’s bedroom at his apartment, where you’d fallen asleep.
“Loki?!” You called, and he leaned in the doorway.
“Good morning. I didn’t mean to frighten you. We took a short trip in your sleep. We’re at my Paris flat.”
You smiled, stretching your arms above your head as you yawned. Loki put a coffee in your hands, leaning down and kissing your forehead.
“If I cry will you spoil me more often?” You teased lightly, and he shot you his signature dom look of warning, making you shudder.
“It breaks my heart to see you cry, my darling,” Loki’s tone was apologetic, guilt still left over from the day before. You squeezed his arm as you sipped your coffee.
“I’m okay,” you swore, earning another kiss from your lover.
“Mm. Finish that up and we’ll go to the patisserie down the street.”
“Yes, sir.”
He smiled, happy you were cheered up and back to normal. He moved his fingers and a pretty sundress appeared hanging on the back of the washroom door for you, delicate white flats placed below.
“Dressing me up like your little doll?”
“Careful, or I will dress you, after I get that attitude in line.”
“I love the dress. And I can put it on by myself,” you apologized, pecking his lips before walking to the bathroom.
You returned in the sundress, a white beret adorning your head along with it. You relished in the bright smile Loki rewarded you with. In a shimmer of green, he was dressed in pastels that matched your own. You loved to see him in casual clothes instead of the Asgardian armor he frequently wore, and he indulged you for this small Parisian vacation.
“You look stunning, my darling.”
Giggles erupted from your lips, making Loki’s heart soften. He dipped his head down to kiss you, making your nose scrunch up in the cutest way that he loved. His long, slender fingers folded with yours, holding your hand as the two of you made your way out of the flat and onto the bustling street. You were thankful for the sunny weather, greatly improving your mood from the rough night in New York’s rain.
“Feeling better?”
“Much,” you nodded.
“Let’s get some crepes. Sound good?”
“Sounds perfect, Loki.”
The young god pecked your lips before pushing you inside of a patisserie.
“Salut,” the girl working called to the two of you as the bell clinged on the door.
“Darling, what would you like? We can take some macarons to go,” Loki asked, pointing to the pastries behind the glass.
You chose a few, and Loki rattled off your order in French to the shopkeeper, taking the bag from her and moving you to sit at a table in the corner for your crepes.
“Can we stay in Paris for a couple of days? Just us, not any of the distractions from New York,” you asked, leaning your head against his shoulder and accepting the bite he fed you.
“Most certainly.” He kissed the sugar off of your lips before the two of you left for a park with your snacks for later. Loki held your hand as you walked along a low stone wall beside him, your eyes level with the extra height.
“Y/N, you must know that you are so, so terribly loved.”
You turned and snaked your arms around his neck, looking deep into his crystal blue eyes.
“I do not doubt your love, Loki.”

⋆⋅☆⋅⋆
You outstretched your arms, eyes glancing over to the clock in the corner of the living room.
Jean should be home soon.
The sound of the ticking clock filled the room as you laid back down on the couch, the side of your face pressed against the cool leather of the armrest, fingers lazily grazing over the pale white stitches, the bumps and ridges comforting you while you waited for your husband to come home.
Not too long after, you heard the familiar noise of the keys jingle against the doorknob, prompting you to shift your body to watch Jean as he walked through the front door; your lips quirked into a gentle smile, and you got up to greet him.
However, you noticed that he wasn’t his usual cheery self today. Weariness was clear as day on his face. He raised his eyebrows at you, the only indication that he acknowledged your presence.
He struggled to slip off his shoes until eventually sighing and reaching down to untie them, hair falling in front of his face, he cursed under his breath. You let out a giggle, immediately slapping your hand over your mouth, suppressing the noise.
“What are you laughing about?” He furrowed his brows, following your eyes until he realized you were staring at the socks peeping out of his shoes.
Tiny fried eggs decorated the navy socks he was wearing. He looked back up at you, an amused expression on your face, still trying to suppress your laughter.
His shoulders drooped, and he scowled at you, “knew I shouldn’t have worn these dumb socks today.”
You frowned and made your way over to him, “aww, baby, I wasn’t laughing at you, and hey, you love those socks! You look so cute with them on! ”
Jean turned his face away from you, “I’m not cute,” your frown deepened, and you brought your hand up to his face, causing him to look at you. Your wedding band was cool contrast against his cheek.
“Sure you are, my love. Did you not have a good day today?” At that, his eyes fluttered shut. He brought his hand up to remove yours; however, his hand lingered, resting on top of yours.
“Gonna take that as a no then.”
He nodded in agreement before opening his eyes and dropping his hand. You traced your fingers on his cheek until moving your arm around his neck, pulling him into a tight embrace. Jean wrapped his arms around your torso, relaxing into your touch. You nuzzled into the crook of his neck, breathing in his cologne, “missed you today, baby.”
You felt him release a deep breath, and you moved your hand to run your fingers through his hair. He hugged you tighter in response to your action, “missed you too.” His voice a low grumble.
Jean let go first, mumbling a quick thank you, and he gave you a slight smile, the first sign of happiness you could see on his face since he walked through the door minutes prior.
He began to bend down to finish taking off his shoes before you stopped him, “Nuh-uh, come with me.”
You gently tugged him up by elbow before clasping his hand in yours, leading the both of you into your bedroom. He opened his mouth in protest, “what are you doing?”
“What does it look like I’m doing, hun? Someone requires some T.L.C.” Pronouncing every letter with a slight lilt in your voice, you turned your head to smile at your husband; his eyebrows were still furrowed, shoulders carrying the weight of the day on him. You knew that if you left Jean to his own devices, he would end up bottling his feelings and act like nothing was wrong.
Your feet padded gently into the room; Jean followed suit. He pulled at your hand to let him go, but you weren’t giving up that easy. He was a stubborn man, no doubt about it, but after years of being together, when it came to Jean, you were just as headstrong.
Smoothing your palm over the soft beige bedsheets, you sat down, tapping your clothed thigh, “come lay down; you’ll feel better if you do.” You watched the man in front of you clench his jaw, tired, hazel eyes gazing into yours.
“I haven’t even taken my shoes off yet.” He sighed; your only response was to tug him closer to your seated frame. Pouting your lips up at him, you watched him chew the inside of his cheek before finally obliging.
“See, that wasn’t so hard” You grinned as you saw Jean sit down next to you and lay his head in your lap, ash brown hair splaying across your thighs. He hummed in content when he felt you run your fingers through the hair near his temples. “You wanna talk about what happened?” Jean shook his head, furrowing his brows once again. You swiped your thumb over the creased skin, causing his expression to soften.
He blinked his eyes up at you, “you don’t have to do this; I’m fine.” He tried to get up, but you pressed your palm against his chest, eyes pleading. You tilted your head at him, gazing with tenderness before hunching over to lightly kiss his forehead.
“Let me take care of you, Jeanie? Please?”
He laid back down, allowing you to rub his temples, taking away the pain of the day. It was the least you could do; on days where you felt unloveable, Jean would be there for you, holding you, whispering reassurances in your ear, delicately reminding you of his love and lending his strength to you when you needed it. So, while it pained your heart to watch Jean feel less than, it was second nature to you; you would always be there for him when he needs it.
The repetitive movements of the pads of your fingers against his head were soothing him, Jean’s eyelids were heavy, the time he spent with his eyes shut getting longer and longer with each passing minute.
“Haven’t taken my socks off.” He whispered, sleep overtaking him; his speech was slightly slurred.
“Don’t worry, you just sleep.” You continued massaging his head until his breathing steadied, eyes no longer opening. You smiled at the sight; he looked so peaceful and beautiful when he slept. Pausing your movements, you bent down and gave him another kiss on his forehead, smoothing the hair on his head.
You lifted him off your lap, sliding out from underneath him, and softly placed his head down on a pillow, careful not to disturb him. He shifted, turning to face the window next to the bed. The sun was beginning to set, and the slivers of orange light peeking through the curtains dusted over Jean’s face.
“My beautiful boy.” Warmth spread over your chest as you watched your husband rest, content that at this moment, his worries were not plaguing him.
You slid off his shoes, chuckling at the sight of socks once more. Jean had called the socks dumb, but you knew that he loved them. When you got them for him for his birthday, you remembered how he laughed when he unwrapped the package; the sound rang through the air, causing you to giggle at his reaction, before he reached over to plant a sloppy kiss on your cheek, murmuring a soft thank you through a wide-toothed smile.
After pulling off his socks, you quietly got him out of his dress shirt and pants and slipped a pair of sweatpants over his legs before drawing the comforter over his body and placing a kiss on his shoulder.
--
Jean awoke to the smell of spices wafting in from the kitchen; he rubbed his eyes. It was dark outside. He wondered how he got into bed; the last thing he remembered was him laying in your lap.
Oh.
The young man felt a wave of guilt wash over his body. He realized that he was wearing sweatpants, his office attire neatly hanging in the closet adjacent to him. Jean groaned and pulled the covers off his body; had he been sleeping all this time? You were working away in the kitchen, you even took off his shoes, and here he was, lazing away like a dog.
It was pathetic, he thought, making you take care of him just because he had a bad day at work. Jean stepped out of the bedroom; stretching out his limbs, he made his way over to the kitchen, the smell of food getting more robust with each step.
You turned when you heard the soft padding of his feet against the kitchen tile, “you’re awake! Did you sleep well?” You beamed at him before turning your attention back to the stovetop.
He padded over to you, wrapping his arms around your waist, “you seriously don’t have to do this; I’m alright.” His voice husky, vibrating against your back.
You shifted your body to look at him, quizzical expression painting your face, “why won’t you let me pamper you? Don’t you deserve that?”
Jean was silent.
“You don’t have to be perfect for me, Jean.” Your hand left the handle of the pan and held onto the hands around your middle. “Let me carry some of that burden. Let me.”
“It’s not fair.” Jean’s eyes between yours and the food on the stove.
“What’s not fair, baby? You take care of me when I’m sick when I can barely get out of bed. Isn’t that the vow we made to each other?” You paused, watching as Jean’s head fell into the crook of your neck. “I won’t love you any less, and I certainly will not let you act like everything is fine when it’s not. You don’t have to tell me what happened, but just allow me to look after you.”
“You tell me how much you love me every day, so let me show you how much I love you through this, okay?”
Jean wondered what stars aligned for him to find someone like you. He still felt guilty, but he knew that arguing would be futile, so he finally succumbed, “I love you.”
His mouth curled up into a slight smile; he meant it every time he said it, even when the both of you had been arguing or when you left for work, he meant it every single time.
You didn’t think it was possible, but your heart grew in fondness for Jean, “I know.” You gave his hand a gentle squeeze before returning yours to the handle.
Jean’s stomach grumbled, causing him to groan. You let out a laugh, “See, I knew you hadn’t eaten at work. Go sit; I’ll finish up this Omurice.”
He slipped his arms away from your waist before going to sit on the stool near the kitchen island, head resting on his propped-up palm, watching as you plate up the food.
His eyes twinkled with adoration, the guilt in his chest dissipating as he noticed how much care you’re putting into the meal. There was a time that Jean didn’t think he was worthy of being loved, but having you in his life pieced him back together again.
You made your way over to him, handing him a fork and setting down the plate. Your husband took it from your hands, giving you a questioning look, before taking a bite. His eyes widened, “this is really fucking good, here try some.”
You let out a breath you didn’t even know you were holding, glad that he liked the food; Jean brought the fork to your lips, which you opened, the warm rice and luscious egg filled your mouth, you shut your eyes, savouring the taste, "holy shit."
Jean laughed at your surprise, taking another bite of the food. You went over to a drawer to grab a fork before sitting next to him to eat.
When both of you finished your meal, you stood up to grab the plate to clean it. However, Jean halted you before you could pick it up, "let me."
His voice came out a gentle whisper, but it was sincere; you nodded your head, relaxing back in your seat, watching as the man went around the kitchen island to clean the utensils.
He worked swiftly in silence. After drying the plate and placing it in the cupboard, Jean looked up at you, "thank you for this."
"You don't have to thank me, my love."
He blushed at your words, "still, I'm so lucky to have you; I don't know if I tell you that enough."
You stood up and made your way over to Jean, his hands rested on your hips, and you moved your fingers to brush away the few strands of hair that fell in front of his eyes. He smiled tenderly at you before pulling you closer to him by your hips.
He pressed his lips against yours, and you reciprocated the kiss, soft lips melding against each other. His hands travelled up your sides, eventually cupping your face. You smiled against his lips before pulling away.
"I'll love you always, Jean." Your hands came up to hold his, and you turned your cheek to press a kiss into his palm.
"I know."

Like Everybody Else - daniel seavey imagine
Tumblr media
a/n: I hope you like this, i didn’t want to make it too sad lol. Also, kinda random but how many of you use :), :( or :/ in texts? cos I do. Let me know what you think.
Song: Lennon Stella, Like Everybody Else
Run fast, run away, run straight into the loneliness
It isn't only home I miss
“How's tour?” Y/n asked excitedly, taking a seat on the cushioned floor next to Anna.
Daniel smiled gently, “It’s...great.” Daniel spoke gingerly. “It would be so much better if you were with me” He continued easily.
“Aww, Dani” Y/n’s cheeks flushed bright pink at his sweet words, and she giggled timidly.
“Aww, you two are just the cutest” Anna said sarcastically as she rolled her eyes. Him and Y/n chuckled lightly on opposite ends of the FaceTime call.
“How are you two doing then?” Daniel asked with a tight smile.
“We’re doing great! Keri’s gonna take us snowboarding tomorrow with your family!” Y/n spoke positively. Daniel’s eyes lingered fondly on Y/n’s. He happily relished in the feeling of love that played in her toothy smile and soft gaze.
Daniel’s blurry, muddled mind cleared as memories of past family adventures emerged at the sight of innocent kids playing in the distant snow from out the window. The snow fell as gracefully as feathers.
Daniel turned back to his phone after what seemed like ages. “That’s great. I’m glad you’re having so much fun.” He said quietly. “I miss you guys so much.” He breathed, his voice slightly wavering. The girls didn’t notice the slight sadness etched in his voice. He rushed to end the call, not wanting to fall apart in front of them. “I gotta go. I love you guys!” He rushed out before hanging up. He tossed his phone to the edge of his bunk and set his face in his hands morosely.
Like the night all my friends got together
Heard about it afterwards
Didn't think was gunna hurt so much
Daniel trudged out of the interview room tiredly. His bandmates followed close behind with faces full of energy and voices dripping in excitement. The boys’ brand-new freedom allowed for tons of new adventures in the unexplored town and while the other guys almost sprinted out of the building, Daniel wanted nothing more than to be alone with his thoughts. He pulled out his phone from his back pocket and tapped Y/n’s name on messages nearly unknowingly, like it was muscle memory. “Daniel, come on, we’re waiting outside.” Jonah called gently from a few paces away. Daniel lifted his gaze and let a small smile play on his lips as he spoke. “Yeah, just a sec.”
“Hi” He typed quickly, shuffling his feet slowly toward the elevator. His screen illuminated after a few seconds.
“Hey:)” Y/n responded. Daniel’s tense body relaxed at the simple message from his girlfriend, and he let the corners of his lips pull upwards to form a faint smile.
“What you up to?” He continued. A moment later he received a photo from Y/n and opened his hesitantly. The image loaded to reveal Y/n with a couple other friends of theirs. The dark atmosphere sparked his memory and he remembered Oscar’s birthday party. Their happy faces shone bright even in the nearly non-existent light of the club. Daniel’s smile faltered at the sight of them and he couldn’t help but feel a great amount of envy swallow his mood. He wanted them to be happy, but he wanted to be happy too.
“Daniel,” Jonah whispered sharply again. It was only at that moment that Daniel realised he had barely moved from his initial spot, and he chuckled lightly at his friend’s serious expression. He jogged over. “What’s got you so glum?” Jonah asked teasingly as they headed into the empty elevator. He turned back to see Daniel truthfully upset and his expression quickly broke. “What’s up, man?” He asked earnestly, setting a comforting hand on Daniel’s back.
“Y/n...and the others...” Daniel said simply, dropping his gaze to his pink sneakers.
Jonah looked a little bewildered. He narrowed his eyes, “What? What do you mean? Did they do something?” He rushed out.
“D-don’t worry about it.” Daniel dismissed with a gentle shrug. He averted his gaze to the sign above the door and watched it light up silently as they reached their floor.
Why if I'm doin' so well
Did I build a wall between me and the world?
Daniel was sitting up on his bunk bed, leaning against his single pillow with his legs stretched out and ankles crossed lightly. He was still dressed in his outfit - too tired of even changing into something comfier. He stared blankly at his Instagram timeline on his phone, scrolling mindlessly through photos etched with fun and adventure. The high, creaking noise of the door swinging open shot Daniel out of his faint trance, and he looked up expectantly.
“Hey, the guys and I are going out to dinner? Wanna come?” Zach asked, making his way further into the narrow hallway of the tour bus. Daniel shook his head lightly.
“Nah it’s fine” He muttered as casually as he could. He felt a swell of emotion wash over him unexpectedly.
“You sure? You said no last week as well.” Zach asked, peeking a brow at the boy across from him.
“Yep” Daniel said quickly, swallowing back the lump in his throat. He pulled a tight smile, trying to ignore the uneasy feeling in his stomach. Zach nodded gently, turning away towards the door, but just before he came to it, he looked over his shoulder one last time to Daniel. He let his eyes linger on his downcast eyes lit up by the screen in front of him before walking forwards and shutting the door behind him.
Daniel sighed in relief and dragged his palm over his face tiredly. He kicked off his shoes and watched them drop carelessly on the floor. He tugged the throw blanket at the foot of his bed closer and pulled it right up to his chin tightly, letting his eyes linger to the dark night sky aglow with city lights. He glanced at his cheery bandmates sauntering out of the bus and onto the footpaths with nothing but joy in their step. Daniel wanted to feel like them too, more than they could ever comprehend.
Been drilled in my head forever, be better, turns out
I'm just like everybody else
Daniel burnt the midnight oil often. He usually found daytime band rehearsals too overwhelming to focus. His gentle piano playing broke the serene silence of the night, coaxing a beautiful, soothing melody until it was interrupted by the wrong note, caused by the slip of his finger. Daniel huffed deeply, resting his head aggressively on the keys in annoyance. It produced a muddled sequence of notes and Daniel felt the vibrations buzz through his head. He lifted his head, slouching back on the bench. He finally felt a great swell of anxiety drown his mind. The previous, harsh critiques from Randy reverberated in his head continuously and he couldn’t get his mind to stop spinning with self-doubt.
Daniel sighed deeply. He bit his lip in an attempt to stop his frustrated tears from pouring down his face. He looked around the empty and gloomy rehearsal room and let it all go. He hid his face in his hands tiredly while he cried. The dull ache in his heart was all he could think about, but he merely let himself feel the pain he thought he deserved. A few long minutes later, when Daniel thought he’d cried all the tears left in him, Daniel lifted himself up stiffly from the piano. He rubbed his temples gently before flipping the sheet music to the next page and continuing.
Don't even go near a mirror, it’ll kill ya
Trust me, you don't wanna see yourself
“Guys” A crew member came back into the dressing room. “You’ve got three minutes.” He reminded before rushing out into the hallway again. Daniel turned back to the mirror as he adjusted the cuffs of his dress shirt again.
“Does this look alright to you?” He turned to Jack, pointing to his black and white suit.
“Yeah,” Jack laughed lightly. “It’s fire...for the five - hundredth time” He joked, “why?”
“Oh, I don’t know.” Daniel started, glaring over his shoulder to Jack again. “Maybe it’s ‘cause we’re going to a red-carpet event.” He said nervously.
“Don’t sweat it, dude. We’ll be fine.” Jack reassured.
Daniel nodded. His gaze persisted on the smudged, full length mirror standing in front of him. In truth, it wasn’t just his appearance he was worried about. It was also his talent. The thought of being in the presence of A list celebrities and artists he greatly admired sent everlasting shivers down Daniel’s spine.
Fuck the noise, It's too late, It's the choices
Now I don't even wanna be someone
“Dani.” Jack called gently from across the table. “Daniel.” He said blankly after a moment.
“Daniel.” Zach’s hand slammed hard on the table causing a loud thump to echo through Daniel’s whirling mind and he looked up from his downcast gaze to his bandmates cluelessly. “It’s your turn” Zach said, gesturing to the Monopoly board set on the table.
The dim light of the lamp casted a warm glow to the lounge room. Daniel sat lazily with his legs tossed on the coffee table. Daniel’s face broke into a soft smile. “Oh right. Sorry.” He chuckled. He leaned over, picked up the dice in one hand and rolled it.
“You okay, man?” Corbyn inquired honestly, eyes flickering to Daniel.
“Yeah...you haven’t really…been here tonight.” Jonah asked carefully. His face was brimming with concern. Daniel’s gentle smile faltered, and his eyes wandered nervously before landing on his bandmates again.
“Y-yeah, yeah. I’m just tired.” He shrugged hesitantly, “don’t worry,” he added. He dropped his gaze back to the board and rested his chin in his hands.
That's nice, champagne, what a shame, It doesn't work on me
So don't go wastin' your money
Everybody in this room is too hard, too pretty, I'm tired
I just wanna be nobody
Daniel sat awkwardly at a circular table in the fancy, high end restaurant. The cacophony of polite chatter and clattering of fine cutlery filled his ears and he could barely focus on his own table’s conversation. “Daniel.” The sound of his name being called had Daniel diverting his stare to the older man opposite him. His sharp, strong features only complemented his staid personality.
“Yes.” Daniel spoke as elegantly as he could. He tried not to let his nervousness peak through his calm facade and he wiped his slightly dampened forehead with the back of his hand.
“Your managers over here tell me you’re quite the song writer.” He stated the faintest hint of a smile present on his lips. Daniel’s face flushed with nervousness. He cleared his throat with a slight chuckle and dropped his fork onto his plate.
“I try my best.” He grinned. “But yea...I really enjoy it.” He finished shyly. He washed down the tension flooding his body with a sip of his champagne.
The older man glared at Daniel before honestly saying, “you know, this opportunity is extremely selective. We only pick one applicant a year.” Daniel glanced at him expectantly, trying to ignore the tightening twist of his stomach. “There are many artists that enjoy writing.” He finished.
“I understand-” Daniel tried but he was interrupted.
“He’s a great writer, take it from me” Randy intervened swiftly. He shot a glare to Daniel before leaning his elbows on the table to converse gravely with the other man. Daniel reluctantly focused back on his nearly full plate - he barely ate because of his anxiety. He shoved a forkful of food into his mouth.
What made me think I was special? I'm not special
Turns out I'm like everybody else
This song sounds exactly like 5SOS
They are just a like 1D
Their music sounds the same
Daniel typically took criticism with grace and modestly, but this time was different. The rims of his eyes were red from glaring at Instagram comments under his music announcement post for almost one hour straight. His fingers readily hovered over the word ‘reply’, prepared to sincerely explain how different his band’s songs were and how much work went into producing them.
In the back of his mind, Daniel couldn’t help but believe their hurtful words. He set down his phone on the floor to the side in an effort to stop his mind from whirling out of control. He drew up his knees in embarrassment and hid his face against them tiredly. He let his anxiety-stricken face relax and tears flowed gently down his face.

Draco Malfoy x reader
MASTERLIST☁️
Tumblr media
Warnings: self doubt and I think that’s pretty much it
Note: this is 3.7k+ words. Also if you have any feedback let me know as I’m always trying to improve!¡ also h/n means house name also ngl im kinda proud of this 🖐😌✨
Summary: Draco unexpectedly breaks up with y/n and moves on with his life and now dates Astoria Greengrass but y/n still wants an explanation to why he suddenly dumped her leaving her heart broken but do things ever go back to what they were?
He was slipping out of my hands. I was losing him. I was losing myself. I was losing everything I had ever wanted.
My love for a certain platinum blonde haired boy was unconditional. His voice was delicate and soothing and was certainly music to my ears. His touch made me melt into his beautiful pale and creamy skin while he would caress me tightly but all of it was gone. Everything I had ever wished for was crumbling before me.
Draco Malfoy was no longer with me. After all we had been through it felt like nothing was no longer worth it and it hurt me to see him walking through the corridors with Astoria Greengrass clutching onto him. She was always with him, clinging onto his arm, feeding him in the great hall and now she even had access to his dorm. He promised me no one else would take my spot but at this point I assumed it was all a lie.
“You know what? I’m not even mad he ended things with you because he doesn’t deserve you y/n,” mentioned Hermione while you looked across the great hall towards Draco who had Greengrass sat beside him giggling .Me and Hermione had become best friends since our arrival at Hogwarts and she had always stuck by me through thick and thin. Our friendship was an unbreakable bond and i had always shared my thoughts and feelings to her and trusted her more than anyone else.
“Surely I wasn’t deserving enough for him-,” you whispered softly as you played with the plate of ravioli in front of you, piercing thousands of holes into it every now and then.
When he left me, he gave no explanation for the sudden breakup. Everything just shattered and I had remembered pleading him while tugging on his arm for clarification while drops of tears streamed down my face. He couldn’t face me, he couldn’t even muster the courage to look into my eyes and tell me he no longer loved me. He harshly moved away from my grasp and walked away leaving me all alone at the top of the astronomy tower. What seemed to hurt me the most was how he confessed his love for me after the Yule ball had ended and now he had dumped me in the same exact spot . Was I not good enough for him? Was he deserving of someone else? I wanted him badly to come running back to me telling me it was a joke of some sort. I wanted to wake up and pretend everything that had happened was just a nightmare but it was real. He was really gone.
The next day after lunch I made my way to my favourite tree. I would normally
sit by it and read the muggle stories I owned or just catch up on some work. I held precious memories here. I remember the first time me and Draco actually spoke to one another it was under the same exact tree only except after a few days I would read him stories like Alice in Wonderland or Jekyll and Hyde which he would thoroughly enjoy by sitting in one of the trees branches while munching onto an apple listening to the words that would come out of my mouth. He never really understood my thirst for reading muggle books. When I had first read them to him he was acting as if it was some sort of crime but once the stories got into depth he eased a bit and understood why I adored reading and it was all because I could get lost into my own imagination.
When I had reached the tree I couldn’t seem to believe my eyes. Under the tree laid Astoria’s head on Draco’s lap as he hesitantly stroked her hair almost looking a bit uncomfortable. I felt my eyes starting to well up and my vision instantly turned blurry. A pain in my chest made it seem as if my heart had been torn into millions of pieces. I stood there slightly trembling and took a step back. To my surprise my foot crunched under a pile of twigs and branches disturbing the two as Draco and his girlfriend looked up at me. He pushed Greengrass of him and scrambled up as if he were about to say something but Astoria tugged on his arm while glaring at me darkly and I decided to run back to my dorm. He really had replaced me.
“You should talk to him,” explained Hermione.I had told her everything from the way he made me feel and how uneasy I would feel whenever Astoria would be beside him. “If I’m being honest he really did downgrade,” added Ron while he took a bite out of his sandwich.
“I-i can’t, I just know he’ll try to avoid me,” i mumbled.
“You really think that? Weren’t you the one who said that he pushed Greengrass off him when he saw you?” Mentioned Harry sarcastically as he put the daily prophet down.
“But that doesn’t mean he wants to talk to me, I bet he doesn’t even care about my existence,” I groaned while i glanced at all three of them while Harry had a smug expression painted across his face.”let’s test that theory shall we?” .You knew he had some type of plan.
__
“Malfoy, theres a letter that’s addressed to you,” spoke Crabbe as he took the letter between the beautiful white owl’s beak. Draco snatched the letter out of his hand and opened it:
Malfoy,
Meet me at the astronomy tower tonight at 12. This is extremely important, it’s about y/l/n. Her life is in danger.
Harry,
Draco read the letter, while his thoughts circled his head. His two minions, Crabbe and Goyle, tried peering over him to take a look at what was written. His heart started beating at a quicker pace and he was worried sick about you.He hastily shoved the letter back into it’s envelope.”What does it say Malfoy?” Asked Goyle curiously.
“It’s none of your business,” he snapped back.He didn’t want to put you into any type of danger because he still cared. He couldn’t bear seeing you hurt because he still loved you. However not everything was what it seemed.
“Harry I don’t want to start any trouble-,” I muttered before getting cut off.
“Come on y/n, tonight we’ll find out if he’s still in love with you,” interrupted Ron.
Hermione placed her hand on mine, almost as if she was trying to reassure me that everything would be okay. Harry’s owl came swooping through the gryffindor common rooms half open window as Hedwig plopped himself onto his owners shoulder while Harry stroked its feathers.
“He’s got the letter, now we just have to see if he turns up,” explained Harry as he looked at me flashing me a confident smile. I returned one back but something inside me made my stomach churn. What if Draco didn’t turn up. What if he didn’t really care about me and what if he was happy with Astoria. I had so many questions.
__
The clock striked twelve, and I cautiously made my way to the astronomy tower making sure no one saw me out of bed after curfew. I was still in my h/n uniform shivering as I had left my robe in the common room. Once I got there I gazed at the stars hoping that Draco would come. I still wanted him to care for me, to love me but as time ticked by I stood there reconsidering everything. I had made a fool out of myself by showing up, I should have known better. He had moved on and I should have too. I was about to leave when I heard a familiar voice. “What are you doing here?” Questioned Draco. I had turned around to see him although he was a few metres away from me. I couldn’t quite make out his expressions. “I thought I was here to meet Potter not you,” he snarled. If I was being honest his words cut me deep leaving a wound that wouldn’t ever be healed. He really seemed as if he didn’t want to see me but I still had hope.
He turned around and almost started walking away but I had stopped him. “ if you didn’t care about me you wouldn’t have showed up,” my voice slightly broke towards the end. Ever so slowly I had made my way towards him hesitantly placing my hand on his shoulder. He glanced back at me not fully turning but his expression seemed to ease down a bit. “ Draco, I know it was wrong but I just wanted to talk-,” I felt my eyes tearing up but I quickly wiped them away.
“There’s nothing to talk about,” he answered back.
“Yes there is, why did you dump me? Do you realise how much it hurts to see you and Greengrass in the hallways! do you realise what you put me thr-,” I started to raise my voice while I vented at him before he cut me off.
“What I put you through?! I had no choice y/n. Don’t you think it didn’t hurt me when I left you?!” He had never spoken to me like that before.
“I just want my answers Draco, why? Why did you do this? Why did you end ‘us’?,” I whispered as I tried fighting back my tears but I couldn’t. He turned around now facing me completely. He seemed nervous as if he didn’t know how to break the news to me but he knew he had to, he knew he couldn’t keep me in the dark like that.
“Because... because I’m marrying Astoria,”
I covered my mouth with my hand trying to muffle my cries that tried to escape, stumbling backwards from him. He had never seen me so devastated and it really showed. I could tell he wanted to comfort me but he couldn’t. It would have been wrong.
My sobs started to get worse and Draco had noticed. “Y/n I need you to calm down.. please,”. The tone in his voice was soft like butter and I couldn’t help but listen to him. Hesitantly I pulled him in for a tight hug I could tell from his body language that he didn’t expect me to do that. He didn’t hug me back although it felt like his hand was hovering against my back almost as if he wanted to but couldn’t. I pulled away from him patting my tears dry while I shivered in the cold. I could have sworn that the tension in the air could have been cut with a knife. The next thing I knew, Draco took of his slytherin robe and covered me with it to stop me from shaking. “ I thought maybe you would need it,” he stammered. I crossed my arms looking down at the ground.
“Why are you marrying her?” I questioned while I furrowed my brows together.
“It isn’t my choice y/n, my father wants me to marry her because she’s a pureblood,” he responded while he looked at you with blurry eyes. You knew that his parents wouldn’t have ever approved of you, well mostly Lucius. He had despised you since the day you walked into the Malfoy Manor after finding out you were a mudblood.
“You should have told me, we could have worked this out, we could have done som-,”
“THERES NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT!” He sneered as he quickly scuttled away leaving me alone at the top of the tower.
__
The winter break was here and you were returning home for the holidays.
Every night since my return at home i couldn’t help but think about him. I started to become restless and i wished for the holidays to come to an end quickly so that I could see him again but what was the point? He was happy with Astoria and I would eventually move on from him sooner or later but I still had faith.
__
When the Winter breaks had ended we were returned back to Hogwarts.
I remember when I had reached my dorm I started unpacking all my luggage when I found Draco’s robe inside my suitcase. I clutched onto it tightly while running my hand over the soft fabric inhaling his sweet scent that consisted of citrus and mint. Everything felt wrong. I had to give his robe back to him although he would have bought a new one but I still had to. I no longer meant anything to him.
The first class of the new semester was defense against the dark arts which was taught by Umbridge. Everyone seemed to loathe her apart from a bunch of kids who became a part of her clan. Unsuprisingly Malfoy was one of them.
I couldn’t help but stare across the room at him. He was just so beautiful. His prominent, sharp jawline could have easily cut whoever’s fingers glided across it and his magnificent blonde hair had grown a tiny bit compared to last year. I had sat there just admiring him from a distance when he seemed to notice when he had turned around to talk to Goyle. Our eyes had met until I pulled away quickly. I couldn’t do that to him since everything was over but I still yearned for him.
“I’m so sorry y/n, we didn’t expect Malfoy to react like that,” explained Hermione when you had told the trio everything that had happened before the winter break.
“I can’t believe he’s marrying her, out of all people he chooses Greengrass,” muttered Ron while he took a sip out of his cup.
“It’s not his choice Ron,” I mumbled under my breath just loud enough for him to hear .
“Are you going to give him his robe back?” Questioned Harry while he glanced at me with a weak smile.
“I suppose so, it doesn’t belong to me anymore,” I sighed while letting a shaky breathe out.
I could see from across the great hall, that he was staring at me until I had noticed. He quickly shifted his attention to Astoria while she rested her head on his shoulder. She was starting to infuriate me.
We were going to Hogsmeade today and unfortunately Harry couldn’t come because he couldn’t get permission to go on the trip or I could have hung out with him there. “Harry I’ll get you something from there,” I mentioned kindly with a small smile across my face. He simply nodded with a small smile and then left.
I thought it would be best if I left Ron and Hermione alone since I didn’t want to be the 3rd wheel besides I wanted to explore Hogsmeade alone and get all the heavy feelings of my chest and for once be carefree.
Once I had finished exploring all of Hogsmeade I decided to go to Honydukes to buy some candy for Harry since I knew he absolutely loved lemon Sherbets and well I had promised him I would bring him something back.
I went into the shop searching around for lemon sherbets and looking at the different types of candies in the glass jars until I saw Draco. Obviously he was with Astoria. My heart did a quick jump in my chest and I just froze. “What is she doing here?” Groaned Astoria. Draco just stared at me and then looked towards the ground. I could feel my hands starting to become clammy and a few drops of tears spilled down my face. “I see you EVERYWHERE, don’t you realise that things have ended between you and Draco? He’s MINE not YOURS,” sneered Greengrass. I quickly sprinted my way out of the shop while Draco was going to run after me but she had pulled him back from doing so.
The next day in the great hall, I hid my head in my hands silently wheeping trying not to cause a commotion while Hermione rubbed my back in circles. “You should have stuck with us,” spoke Hermione while Ron nodded along agreeing with her.
“If i were there I-“ Harry started but got cut off when Hermione silently shook her head slowly, almost telling him to stop rambling on.”i-i need to go.. I’ll be back,” I stuttered.
I went to my dorm and grabbed Draco’s old robe and hurried back into the great hall. I was striding towards him furiously while everyones attention was drawn on me. The next thing I knew Astoria and him both looked at me astonished as I threw his robe in his face.”thought this belonged to you,” i whispered while my voice cracked and off I stormed back to my dorm.
I could hear everyone in the great hall talking about the commotion I had just caused while I ran through the corridoors.
The next day was a ordinary Monday, Draco had promised to meet Astoria at lunch and then they would supposedly spend some time together. Lunch was intimidating for me. The buzz about all the drama that had happened yesterday was still news to everyone. People gave me sly looks from across the hall and others were concerned or confused.
Draco would give me small glances then look away just in case I saw. In my heart I still felt as if he wanted me but I wasn’t so sure. It had been a long period of time and it felt as if the 2 were starting to become closer than ever.
After lunch Astoria and Draco were walking the hogwarts grounds. She practically forced him to drape his robe around her. Greengrass was very touchy and there were moments that made him uncomfortable and he would slightly move out of her grasp.
“I don’t understand why y/l/n always has to come between us,” she muttered. Draco stopped walking and looked her in the eye.
“I don’t understand why you hate her so much, what has she ever done to you?” He snarled. Certainly Astoria never expected Draco to ever defend you like that, after all what were you to him?
“Draco, what are you saying?” She questioned while her cheeks turned a tint of red in embarrassment. He took a few steps towards her until the gap between them closed. He seemed agitated while he clenched his fists tightly.
“I’ve never wanted to marry you,” he snapped. Astorias heart started beating rapidly at this point he was scaring her.”Its never been you, it’s always been her,” he sneered as he snatched his cloak away from her body leaving her shivering in the snow.
I was at the top of the astronomy tower, lunch had just finished but since it was still winter season the sky has turned dark in the evening. I looked up at the sky admiring the beautiful colours above. This was my favourite spot to relax. A place for me to escape all of my worries and concerns. Everything that had been happening felt like a nightmare that wouldn’t stop haunting me. If I was being honest I had wished that Draco would be beside me, vibing into the moment like we use to but all of that was gone. I started to shiver slightly as I was only in my uniform and I had again left my robe inside thinking that I would be in all day. Turns out I was wrong after all.
Suddenly someone covered me with their robe. It smelt familiar, like mint and citrus fruit and it’s aroma was sweet with a hint of bitterness. “Thought this belonged to you,” uttered the voice softly under its breath. I slowly turned around to face the person when I saw Draco stood behind me.
To my surprise he gave me tight hug lifting me off the ground since he’s way taller than I am. The hug was different. He didn’t seem to hesitate and it seemed confident like he thoroughly wanted to. He held me there almost cradling me until I slightly wriggled out of his grasp. “Malfoy What is wrong with y-,”. He immediately went in for a kiss. It wasn’t anything extra just a peck on the lips until I pulled away from him. “Draco we can’t do this,” I spoke while my cheeks blushed.
“why can’t we?,” he asked while he pulled me back moving me closer towards him. He was acting totally weird as if he suddenly forgot that he was going to be marrying Astoria. “I think you’ve forgot that your marrying Greengrass,” I sighed after letting a deep breathe out. He seemed to loosen his grip and that managed to create a one metre distance between the two of us. He scratched the back of his head while I crossed my arms trying to avoid eye contact.
“Yeah um.. about that, I don’t want to marry her,” he spoke.
“What do you mean?” I asked hastily.
“Look I know after all that we’ve been through it was wrong for me to leave you like that with any sort of explanation and i just want you to know I’m- im sorry. I don’t care what my father has to say about the two of us. it’s never been her... it’s always been you,” he confessed. I stared into his beautiful eyes and I could tell he really meant what he said. The same Draco Malfoy has apologised for everything he had done and he was even ready to fight against his own father. On my tiptoes I caressed his alluring face with both of my hands as I pulled him down a bit until our lips grazed against each other. The next thing I knew his lips were on mine while one of my hands found their way to his head, softly tugging on the bottom of his platinum blonde hair while his arm slithered across my waist pulling me closer to him till no space was left between us. Pulling away panting slightly I smiled widely. Everything had gone back to what it was and I couldn’t have been more elated. “It’s always been you,” he whispered.

Toweled off part 4
Tumblr media
Cable's POV:
I had only come into existence 4 weeks ago but whatever magic that created me and my twin totally changed everything. Like I remember growing up feeling lost, like the entire world knew something that was beyond my understanding. Even my brother could comprehend it, but I couldn't understand the importance of sex. I could admire the bodies of both men and women and I could find both attractive, I just had no drive to want or need sex. Not to say I dont have a libido, the combined prowess of 4 guys made sure of that. I find that self pleasure is more gratifying then any other experience.
I was again standing at the mirror watching Dain primp and preen as we were starting our shift. He was all excited because he had a new client today. It was Dain's goal in life to help any underdeveloped soul that walked in and it worked. I kinda think there is some residual power in him as his clients always gained more confidence and found their true potential.
I focused more on those lost ones that never even had the courage to enter the Gym. I started up our outreach to the community. Most days I'd hit the streets having conversations and trying to understand people, I guess that was my gift. I could calm everyone around me and sooth their worries. My dad's running joke was that I brought them in and Dain fixed them up.
Amid all of this was the knowledge that there was still one trapped soul that still needed release. Lex had given us the last towel and we took it everywhere in hopes of finding the solution. After weeks of being inert for weeks the towel finally tugged as I was passing a group of guys hanging out in front of a strip mall.
Tumblr media
Lorn. Kyle. Chris. Shane.
Lorn's POV:
My friends and I were goofing around at the deserted end of the mall, when this gym guy that was leaving suddenly turned and started walking towards us. Shane nervously said we should leave and I agreed I didn't want to be picked on by some roid rage muscle tank. We started to book it but it was to late the guy had us cornered.
"Whoa my dudes wheres the fire?" The low pitched voice asked? I should have been scared guys like this have beaten me and my friends to a pulp more then once. His voice though was so soothing and I immediately relaxed. I turned and I saw the tension evaporate in my friends. I knew something was wrong, I didn't care, my attention was focused solely on the man in front of me.
He opened his bag and I involuntarily twitched, but it was a mustard yellow towel that looked old and warn. I felt a pull coming from the towel something about it fascinated me and I just wanted.... No I needed to hold it.
All 4 of us lunged at the same time and each managed to grab a corner. I could feel a presence force it's way into my head.
"Hey guys" the voice was so deep that I could feel the vibrations throughout my body.
"The man before you was once like you" "My bro changed him and made him more" "that is the gift we give for our freedom"
I was entranced the by the voice. I glanced up at Shane his eyes were wide behind his glasses. I knew that not being beat up and teased was a dream for us. Chris and Kyle were looking at me as well.
"Im the last one" " My bros have all been set free and I have chosen you 4 to free me"
"What do I have to do to look like him" Shane blurted out. He was looking excited and nervous at the same time. I was hesitant this seemed to good to be true. Some random hunk appears and offers us our dream body. Alarm bells were starting to ring.
"To set me truly free you all must give up your current reality" "I will rewrite your history and use that energy to free myself"
I could feel the sense of anticipation coming from my friends. Before I could voice my concerns a chorus of "Yes" came from all around me and 3 sets of eyes turned to look at me. I felt myself flush as red as my hair. I wanted to refuse but the opportunity to be someone else was so appealing. "Yes" I said.
The towel started to heat up. It was almost getting too hot but my hand refused to let go. A small tare formed between Kyle and Chris. The tare formed into a rift and soon Kyle and I were holding one half, Shane and Chris had the other. Confused we watched as each half grew and wrapped around the holders. Soon I was plunged Into darkness with Kyle, the towels presence fill our minds with thoughts of who we were to become. My hand found Kyle's as we both held each other tight. The towel was so hot everything was burning, the last thing I could hear was the towel laughing as he was reborn.
My body was stiff as a board, it felt like I had done a three hour workout in just seconds. As feeling came back I was aware that I was laying on cold concrete. I cautiously opened my eyes and as my sight cleared I saw my gym bro Cable squatting beside me with a worried expression. He offered his hand and helped me stand up. It was only then that I understood why I was cold. Crap!!! I was naked out in the open!! I looked around for something to cover me up. At my feet was a ratty yellow towel and I used it to cover myself. I looked to Cable so he could explain what the fuck was going on. A groan stopped me and it was then that I noticed the other naked body. Cable went ovet to the other guy and helped him up too, handing him an identical yellow towel in the same motion.
The stranger and I stared at each other. I was sizing him up incase of trouble. Cable and I could take him but Id have issues if it was just me. We were both about the same height and weight. The strangers head tilted he looked to me and asked "Lyle?"
Motherfucker! that name caused a splitting headache. It was like I was reliving all my memories at once. Suddenly he wasn't a stranger any more this was my bro. My best friend, through the pain stabbing my skull a name surfaced "Chase?"
My bro grabbed his head and I felt a sense of kinship as I knew what was happening. Fuck how could I forget Chase he and I went way back. I could remember when he moved next door in the second grade. I was so happy to have a kid my age to play with. We both discovered we had a love of video games, school, and Dr. Who marathons. This of course made it easy for us to get picked on. In high school both of us were social pariahs fat and gross. That was untill Cable found us and convinced us to join his gym. We took to it immediately and results were showing in months. As our bodies changed we became more popular untill we were the epitome of brains and brawn.
I looked to Cable, no longer concerned about my nakedness I pulled him into a hug and kissed my boyfriend. We had a unique relationship, romantically I was heads over heels for my childhood savior, but sexually Chase and I had an agreement. To complicate everything else Chase is dating Dain in an open sort of way.
"Bro we need to find some clothes" said Chase.
"Babe do you still have my Spiderman outfits in the truck?" I ask Cable. He laughed an ran off, I looked to Chase I new something important had just happened but I didn't care life is good.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lyle. Chase.
Across the country a middle aged woman was sitting at her kitchen table. She sighed with relief as the curse had finally run it's course. 30 years ago she had layed a spell on the 4 guys that had tormented her and others lives. She was happy that they could now find love. Now if only her other curses would finish then she could rest.

Seventeen Reacting to Someone Flirting with their S/O
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 (final)
Part 2 is finally out! Hopefully I can get the last part out within the next few days. Also each members part may get a little bit shorter each time because collectively I’ve written more than 3k lol.
Kwon Soonyoung
Tumblr media
Soonyoung was the sort of person who wore his emotions on his sleeve, sort of. Maybe he never intends to, but it was always easy to tell when something upset the boy; especially when he goes quiet around you, someone he’s supposed to comfortable with. Thankfully, it was always easy enough to soothe his feelings and in no time, he’d be back to his jovial, bubbly self. Fortunately, his moods only came around once in a while. However, it just so happened, today was one of those ‘once-in-a-while’ moments.
You never really intended to make him jealous really, but the man in front of you just would not give up trying to get your number. After who-knows-how-long, you were close to just snapping at the flirt. It really was no use trying to be nice and polite with clueless people like him. Just as you were about to snap however, your lovely boyfriend came in and dealt a hefty right hook on the guy, leaving you stunned for a moment.
“Can you take a hint and leave my girlfriend alone?!” yelled Soonyoung, his cheeks red in anger. In any other situation, you would think he looked really cute, but you could feel the rage seething from his body.
“Honestly! You keep going on and on and on about her giving you a chance but she said that she has a boyfriend you idiot!” At this point, Soonyoung was fuming. It was the worst case scenario ever, you truly did not ever want this man’s rage directed towards you ever.
“Ho-Soonyoung-ah, leave the guy alone…I’m sure he’s learned his lesson,” you said, tugging at his yellow sweater sleeve, trying to pull the taller male away from the other guy’s body on the floor. Soonyoung wasn’t hitting him sure, but he was shouting angry insults which was drawing a crowd.
Your boyfriend turned towards you, his face still a bright red.
“You’re not defending him, are you?” he asked, mouth agape and in shock. Quickly you shook your head.
“Of course not! It’s just that your shouting is drawing a lot of attention…” you mention, gesturing to the curious crowd of people that had surrounded the three of you. Immediately, your boyfriend flushed pink again.
“A-ah. Whoops…I guess I went too far. Yeah, l-let’s go!” he said, grabbing your wrist and hurrying out of the crowd, pushing through the wall of people as he ran with you trailing behind.
Once you reached a quieter part of town, he finally let go of your hand, allowing you to speak.
“Soonyoung-ah, what was that all about? You don’t normally get this mad,” you said. The taller male sighed, looking down sheepishly.
“Honestly…I was watching from afar. I wasn’t sure if I should intervene, but that guy’s last remark really got to me you know. Something about you deserving a better man and all,” he explained. You sighed, pulling the man into your arms.
“Oh please, Hoshi. You’re the best boyfriend I could ever ask for. There’s no one better than you, okay?” you said with a small smile, in hopes of lifting up his spirits. Sure enough, it worked, and your smiling hamster of a boyfriend was back.
Jeon Wonwoo
Tumblr media
You had just finished work at the cat café and Wonwoo was waiting by the front to pick you up. Although you had told him many times previously that it wasn’t necessary, he continued doing it. You soon got used to it and so did your co-workers. Wonwoo waiting by the front every day at 8pm soon became a normal occurrence and it was clear to everyone, even if you didn’t mention it, that you were both dating. It just so happened today of all days however, that a rather gutsy newbie at work tried to pick you up in front of Wonwoo, completely ignorant of the fact that he was your boyfriend.
“Hey, um, [L/N]-seonbaenim* …Thanks for showing me the ropes today. I was hoping we could head back after work together?” The boy asked. He was just a little younger than you, and honestly, not a bad person from your short experience of working with him for less than six hours. Before you could get a word out though, Wonwoo had gotten off his seat and headed to the counter where you two were.
“I’m sorry, but she’s got a boyfriend,” he said, his sharp gaze targeted at the shorter male. The boy’s eyes widened and his eyes flickered between the two of you.
“O-oh?” he stuttered out. “You have a boyfriend, sunbae? Why didn’t you tell me?” he asked, surprise evident in his voice. You sighed and nodded.
“Yes, I’m sorry Ryujin-ssi. But you were bound to find out sooner or later,” you explained. You could see the frustration and disappointment on the younger boy’s face, but you weren’t sure how to comfort him.
Just then, Wonwoo sighed, “It’s getting late, [Y/N].” He then directed his gaze to the rejected newbie and spoke, “Listen bud, I think it’ll do you well to be more aware of your surroundings next time, and not make moves on someone’s girl in front of her boyfriend.”
Ryujin pouted, looking away in embarrassment. You let out a sigh, moving away a stray hair out of your face before speaking.
“Sorry to let you down, Ryujin-ssi,” you said, before you gathered your belongings and awkwardly came out from behind the counter. Once the two of you were out to nudged Wonwoo gently with your elbow. “What was that? You could have been nicer to him,” you reprimanded. Wonwoo averted his gaze and huffed.
“Sorry, I was growing impatient,” he said. Rolling your eyes, you thanked him anyways. At least he got you out of an uncomfortable situation quickly. You could only hope no other new workers will make the same mistake.

Lee Jihoon
Tumblr media
(A/N: This was kinda different as I was running out of situations)
Jihoon was a man of few words, and often times he expressed himself and his feelings better with his music. Although it was a little difficult at times for the two of you to talk about your feelings, you knew you could always look forward to a new composition or a paper slipped under the door with lyrics to a future song, describing his emotions and his love for you. Some may find it sappy, but you thought it was romantic. At the end of the day, you were both fine with it as long as he got his feelings through, and yours to him.
However, the past the few months had been lacking in face-to-face communication time, as he had been away on multiple overseas trips, working with celebrities to produce hit albums. It was when he managed to secure a single day that you remembered exactly why the two of you held frequent communication sessions. Your date together was going smoothly despite the occasional cat calls and men trying to make a move when you were alone. Little did you know how affected Jihoon was, seeing his girlfriend having to turn down or ignore so many scumbags who didn’t know how to read body language.
The two of you were seated in front of his TV in his apartment when he finally spoke up.
“I’m sorry.” The apology came unexpectedly, confusing you.
“Huh? What for?” You ask, turning to face him. The light haired man was looking away, a look of guilt on his face.
“The date…I should have protected you better, but instead I always got there just when you handled everything yourself.”
Your face softened into a smile and reached over to hug your boyfriend. “What? That was it?” you asked, laughing a little. It only made the man blush a little, quietly shifting in your arms.
“Don’t laugh! I really felt upset! I mean, you’re pretty, gorgeous, sweet, everything a perfect partner could be! It was scary, I was wondering if you truly needed me…” he trailed off. Sighing, you sat up, turning your whole body towards him and taking both his hands into yours.
“Jihoon-ie, look at me. You’re VoBo, a genius producer, the sweetest boyfriend I could ever ask for. There’s nothing for you to be afraid of, okay? Also, without you, who can I use as a human pillow whenever we cuddle?” You ask, joking slightly, invoking a light chuckle from your partner.
“Yeah, we all know you’d absolutely suffer without me around as your cuddle bud,” he replied, his gaze softening. “Thanks, I think I have a new song in my mind now. I’m gonna go to my studio first, ‘kay?” he said, quickly standing up before heading to his studio.
A small smile crept on your lips.“Alright!”
Xu Minghao
Tumblr media
Minghao always liked to think he was very trusting of his partner, having absolute faith in her that she won’t cheat or anything like that. A good healthy relationship is based on trust and faith after all. So, it was quite a shock for him, and you as well, when he found himself yelling at some guy for flirting with you. He just couldn’t describe the feeling of anger in his chest when he saw some bastard try to hit on you when you were right next to him. You’re his girlfriend! Why couldn’t he see that? Was the scumbag really that oblivious? Or was he just ignoring Minghao on purpose? Either way, the dancer could care less. The damn bastard was hitting you and making you feel immensely uncomfortable, and that was unforgivable.
He was very close to swinging at the guy when he saw him put a grimy hand on your shoulder, but somehow, you managed to stop him in time.
“M-Myungho, please don’t cause a scene,” you whispered in his ear, your hand wrapped around his arm. Minghao’s eyes softened as he let out an exasperated sigh.
“Right…it’s no use beating sense into such a dumbass anyway,” he said, just loud enough for the other man to hear him.
“Hey! What the hell did you call me you punk?” the man shouted, face flushed red with anger.
“Ahhh, it’s nothing. It’s just the truth, don’t worry. But, next time you try and make a move on my girl, I won’t hesitate to punch you in the face,” the lanky male said, a hint of mock in his voice. You sweat nervously, gosh, you really had to drag your boyfriend away from the stranger before an actual dogfight breaks out.
“Minghao~,” you dragged his name out, meeting your boyfriend’s eyes. “The movie’s gonna start soon,” you said, pouting slightly while tugging on his sleeve. Internally you hoped he got the message, and to your relief he did. The man beside you sighed, combing his fringe back with his free hand before nodding and turning away, leaving an angry and frustrated stranger fuming. While leaving the site, you didn’t notice your boyfriend glance over his back, shooting a piercing glare at the flirt.
Kim Mingyu
Tumblr media
Often times you would say it’s easy to tell when your boyfriend, Mingyu was jealous. He was much like an overgrown puppy to you (and many others). See, Mingyu was the sort of person who thrived on your attention and affection, and when other people took that away from him, it irked him, badly. On occasions like that, the best action to take would be to smother him in hugs and kisses afterwards to get him out of his mood. You needn’t worry about him getting violent either, as most of the time, he would make light threats but you knew he would never actually hurt anyone. Thankfully these occasions were few and far between, but they still did occur on occasion.
Today was one of those rare occasions. See, some guy had come up to the two of you while you were both on a date. At first, he seemed like someone who just need directions to a shop he was supposedly meeting a friend at, but next thing you know, he was suggesting for you to come alone with him to “show him the way”. Of course, Mingyu did not take the man’s advances lightly, hurriedly pulling you back the moment the guy tried to pull you away from your boyfriend. The situation didn’t escalate any further than a few light threats and complaints from both sides, as your boyfriend’s height did most of the scaring-off. However, you were left to deal with the aftermath.
You were both in his apartment, silently eating dinner which he had cooked since he had claimed that the guy “ruined the outdoor atmosphere” and wanted to have some alone time indoors with you instead. Seeing as his place was nearer, you both adjourned there. The food was good, but the silent sulking wasn’t.
“What’s wrong, Gyu?” you asked. Even though he had cooked, he barely touched the food.
“Nothing.”
You raised an eyebrow, “Come on, Mingyu. You know I was just trying to be a nice local. I didn’t expect him to try and drag me,” you explained. Mingyu sighed.
“That’s not it… you could have been hurt. That’s what I’m upset about,” he said. A soft smile crept on your face as you gazed at the taller male lovingly. You then got off your seat, waltzing over behind your boyfriend’s seat and enveloping his bigger form in your smaller one.
“Sorry I worried you. But see! I’m perfectly fine, thanks to you,” you said, planting a kiss on his cheek. Mingyu blushed in response.
“A-alright, I see that! Now let me eat, [Y/N],” he stammered out, quickly shoving a spoonful of rice in his mouth, causing you to chuckle.
“Okay, okay. We’ll talk more about this after we’re done with lunch.”
Later that evening, the two of you spent the rest of the day cuddling on the sofa.

The Jungle (Day 4 of Gwenvid Week 2019)
Gwen has to go into the city alone to propose an idea to Camp Corp. It was supposed to be an easy, unexciting trip.
It wasn't.
(Gwenvid Week 2019, Day 4: Whump/Comfort)
(an unofficial companion on S4E12, “The Forest”)
Chapter 1
“I know you’ll be just great, Gwen!” David took her by the shoulders and gave her a smile that was way too happy for 5:30 in the morning (and should not have made her feel just the tiniest bit brighter, but she’d long resolved herself to the fact that David had that effect on people). “And just think: after this, we can just focus on making Camp Campbell the very best it can be!”
What did he think she was going all the way to their offices for? It wasn’t for her fucking health, that was for sure. But she bore his optimism with the best grace she could muster before the sun was up -- namely, sighing and not kicking him in the shins.
“Now, do you have everything?” The Campmobile was broken -- Gwen was inclined to blame Max and the other two, but David was convinced it was “just something mechanical” that he’d be able to fix despite his complete lack of interest in cars -- and QM, the only one of them who knew how to drive the bus, had disappeared on some sort of mysterious retreat that neither of them had wanted any details about. Which meant she had to walk into town and from there take a regular, crowded, non-school bus into the city to make her 9:00 meeting with Camp Corp. (She’d initially suggested a taxi or Uber or something, but then looked in both the camp budget and her bank account and decided that wasn’t going to happen.) She’d change into her heels and interview suit in the bathroom and then blaze into that meeting and charm the Campwells’ attorneys into hopefully partnering with them as an “independent Camp Pals partner camp” -- which mostly just meant “you give us a bunch of money and we’ll use it to do our thing and you can take credit for anything we don’t royally screw up” -- after which she’d triumphantly cram herself back onto the next overstuffed bus of sweaty assholes and be home in time to collapse in bed and not move for at least 14 hours. To facilitate this plan, David had insisted on packing her a hiking bag complete with a change of clothes, three water bottles, and enough granola bars to feed the entire city. (He’d tried to sneak in an extra pair of socks and a first-aid kit before she’d told him if he made her bag any heavier she’d clobber him over the head with it.) “I know it’ll be chilly at first, but make sure you stay hydrated anyway! Dehydration can --”
“Got it, David. I usually run the First Aid camps, remember? That’s my speech.”
“Well, okay!” He hovered around her anxiously as she tugged on her boots and hooked her purse onto the backpack. “And just remember, I know things didn’t go all that great last time, I’ll have my phone all day! If you find yourself getting nervous, or starting to feel like -- like you might sell the camp --”
Gwen rolled her eyes but didn’t say anything.
“-- you just give me a call!” He looped an arm around her shoulder, squeezing her against his side painfully. “Remember, Gwen, we’re a team!”
“Yeah, got it,” she grumbled, extricating herself from his grip. She made it to the cabin door when she was suddenly hit with a wave of nervousness, turning around to see David standing where she’d left him, his hands clasped in front of his chest and his smile bright and a little wavery. She put her hand on the doorframe, focusing her gaze on the pine tree clock above his shoulder to avoid having to meet his earnest gaze (and the way her chest tightened at the sight of it). “Seriously, though, thanks.”
His grin steadied and widened, and he gave her the Camp Campbell salute. “Any time, Gwen! Now go get ‘em!”
She didn’t return the salute, but she was smiling as she closed the door and headed off into the very early morning.
---
“Jesus.” Gwen collapsed onto the bench outside Sleepy Peak’s sole bus stop, tipping her head back toward the muted sunlight that had begun stretching tendrils across the sky. It was actually a rather nice walk, but ever since she’d taken over the business-and-paperwork side of running the camp, she’d kind of let herself fall out of shape, and she was just relieved the morning was a relatively cool one. She lifted her ponytail off the back of her neck, enjoying the cool air on her sweaty skin just long enough to feel the pinch of a mosquito. “Fuck!” An old lady approaching the stop jumped, shooting Gwen a wary look like she was rabid. “Sorry,” she muttered. “Just . . . you know, waiting for the bus.”
She nodded, taking a seat on the other side of the bench. “I’ve been taking this bus every day for the last fifty years.”
Oh, god, that sounded like the beginning of a conversation. “Neat,” she said, hoping her “please dear god don’t talk to me anymore” voice was obvious enough. She pulled out her phone and sighed with relief; at least the bus would be here soon.
“It started when my husband Edward lost his job at the silicone implant factory. ‘No good would come from changing the gifts God gives,’ I said when he took the job, and you know I was just right. That factory burned down in 2007, and I think the foreman -- he was a dear friend, the foreman; that’s how Ed was offered a place in the factory in the first place. Factory jobs weren’t common even in those days, and lord knows they’re all but gone now, so you better believe he thought he’d gotten lucky when old Jimmy Fitsimmons called! Dear Jim is now working at a packing plant in Missouri, and you know Missouri is just beautiful most of the year -- but goodness, the winters are rough. ‘I hope you know what you’re doing, Jimmy, with those winters,’ I told him, but he and his wife Enid were determined to make the best of it, and we’ve even been down to see their home. It’s small, you know houses just aren’t as easy to pay for as they used to be, and my Ed and I are very lucky to still have the home we bought as newlyweds -- and oh, that is a funny story! You see, my father . . .”
---
“-- oh goodness, where was I? That’s right, Edward lost his job at the silicone implant factory. So I said, ‘Edward, I’ll have to help you get back on your feet,’ and he didn’t like the idea of me working -- he’s an old-fashioned man, my Ed, but times were changing then and still are now; you young people might think we don’t pay attention, but we --”
“Wow, the bus sure is running late, isn’t it?” Gwen interrupted, glancing at her phone for the third time in the last ten seconds. She was supposed to have a full half hour once she got into the city to make herself look less like a swamp monster, but she was starting to wonder if she’d have to run straight from the bus to the meeting in her sweat-soaked camp clothes. “Wonder where it is?”
“Oh, don’t worry, my dear,” the old woman said, taking a long sip from her thermos. “It’ll be along any minute now; I should know, I’ve been riding this bus every day for the last fifty years, ever since --”
“Great. I just kinda have an appointment to get to, so . . .” She tapped her fingertips on her knees, trying not to panic. Panic made her break out, and she probably didn’t have time to put on the makeup she’d packed in her bag, so she needed to have a nice clear Dove-commercial face for this meeting.
“It’ll be here,” she said, and Gwen forced herself to take a deep breath. Deep, soothing breaths, like she’d learned during those six weeks she’d taken yoga. In through the nose, out through the mouth; breathe out stress and negative self-talk, breathe in positivity and healing . . .
“Unless, of course, they’ve canceled the run,” the old woman added casually, and Gwen nearly choked on the positivity and healing.
“Wait, what?” she managed, coughing past the swallowed air. “Canceled it? You mean they just don’t show up?”
She nodded. “It happens sometimes, in a town as small as this one. On those days we just have to wait for the next one to come along.”
Gwen couldn’t exactly afford to wait for the next one, not that she seemed to have much choice. Maybe if they cut one of tomorrow’s camps, they could stretch out the supplies enough to afford a single lousy cab ride . . . “When’s the next bus?” she asked, holding up her phone and cursing the lack of a signal.
“There’s a schedule down outside the general store.”
I thought you did this every goddamn day for fifty years, she thought, grinding her teeth. But the store was a straight shot down Main Street; she’d never be out of sight of the bus stop. “Don’t let them leave without me!” she called to the old woman before half-jogging, half-running down the road to the general store.
Of course there were a thousand fliers papered all over the store’s windows, and of course the schedule was buried under a months-old announcement for a “xmas family fun fest!!!” But another bus should be arriving in . . .
The bus blew past her, barrelling like a runaway freight train toward the stop at the other end of the street. “Hey!” Gwen broke into a sprint, the rising sun searing as she tried to reach the bus stop in time. She tripped over a rock, hitting the dirt road face-first and seeing stars as she scrambled to her feet. “Fucking -- hey!”
The bus started pulling away, and she tried to force her body to run even faster despite the stitch forming below her ribs and the throbbing sting where her knees, chin, and palms had scraped the road; she swiped one hand across her face and it came away bloody. That old bitch hadn’t even told the bus to wait thirty seconds! After she’d pretended to listen to that whole goddamn story about Jim and Ed and whoever the fuck else . . .
It finally stopped just at the edge of town, its engine growling impatiently as she staggered up to it. The driver stared at her for a long moment before opening the doors, his expression blank.
“I was at the bus stop,” she panted, dropping her money into the till. “I’d been there for half an hour.”
The driver shrugged. “I coulda just kept going, lady.”
She resisted the urge to flip him off and just continued onto the bus, which was somehow completely full even though she was pretty sure Sleepy Peak didn’t even have this many people. They weren’t even the last stop before the city, which meant it was only going to get more crowded.
Great.
She squeezed in between a family of six and a young businessman, grabbing onto the overhead bar just as the bus started moving again; one of the children stumbled into her, jabbing his elbow into her side and clinging to her backpack with sticky fingers.
“Whoa!” A lanky young man leapt out of his seat, gesturing for her to take his place. She sat down with a grateful smile, her legs starting to feel like jello after all the abuse they’d taken that day. Thank god there were still some decent people out there.
She opened her mouth to thank him when he shook his head at her and added:
“Just keep your arms down, girl. You stink.”
Mortified, Gwen dropped her gaze, searching for literally anything to look at that wasn’t involved in this conversation when she noticed that she was somehow seated right next to the old bitch who hadn’t held the bus for her. She smiled at Gwen serenely, like she hadn’t just been the cause of all this bullshit.
“You look familiar, my dear,” she said. “Have we met?”
“Nope,” Gwen replied shortly, preparing to disappear into her phone when the woman continued.
“Well, I’ve seen so many faces. I’ve been riding this bus every day for the last fifty years, you know. Ever since my husband Edward lost his job at the silicone implant factory . . .”
She dropped her head into her hands and prepared to spend the rest of the bus ride trying not to exist.

snippet- Hunter Encounter
so this snippet is kinda long lmao. Jayde deals with a unique problem-
“So, Jay,” Nadya started with a coy smile, lifting her mug up to her lips for a quick sip of coffee, “Is this a date?”
I exhaled an amused breath, letting my gaze wander around the coffee shop before settling back on her with a crooked grin, “What else would it be?”
Her irresistible brown eyes reflected the string of lights hanging from the window we were seated by. “Well, you did try to pass it off as a stakeout, but now I’m not so sure.”
Nadya was only teasing to relieve the tension. It was a stakeout. I had gotten word that there was hunter activity a couple towns away from the Lodge. If that was true, then they were far too close to my home and my pack for me to be comfortable. This was a situation I needed to jump on before it got out of hand. Which was why Nadya and I had been here all morning, seated by the window with the best view of the main street of this town. I also kept an extremely close eye on the customers coming and going. Anyone here could be an enemy.
I had planned to go and check it out on my own, that would be safer, but I realized that this would be less conspicuous. Me stalking a town by myself will definitely raise red flags if there really were hunters around. But two young women enjoying coffee together? Way easier to blend in that way. It wasn’t like I was only using Nadya for cover, though. Stakeouts could take hours or even days. Why not use some of that time to enjoy being with her?
“You caught me.” I joked, crossing my arms on the table and leaning in, “I made up the hunters so I could drive you an hour and a half away for a date at a coffee shop that we definitely couldn’t have gone to in the town by the Lodge.”
Nadya leaned in too to give me a sarcastic smirk, “You’re so romantic.”
“How about I buy you a piece of pie to make up for it?” My eyes drifted over to the display cases by the counter that were filled with all types of enticing baked goods.
She raised an eyebrow in intrigue, “You really know your way to a woman’s heart.”
“I’m proud to say that I know yours very well.” I winked and got up.
Once I got to the counter, the barista smiled warmly at me. It was usually easy for me to tell if someone had a genuine or fake smile, but people in customer service were always harder to read. I was pretty impressed by that. If I had to serve idiots all damn day, I wouldn’t have the patience to keep up the happy-go-lucky act. The boy struggling with the espresso machine behind the girl taking my order didn’t seem to have that particular talent either. He grumbled profanities under his breath as he hit every visible button, but the machine only stuttered and grumbled in response.
“I’ll take a slice of the pecan pie.” My hand motioned at it through the display case while I fished out a five dollar bill from my pocket.
The girl accepted the money, that pleasant grin ever present, even when one of her other coworkers groaned loudly at the boy struggling with the espresso machine. “We could warm it up for you if you want?”
“Sure, that’d be great.” I nodded and returned back to our table.
“What’s the plan if we find hunters?” Nadya asked when I sat back down.
“Depends on how many there are.” I replied with a shrug, taking a quick swig from my mug. “If there’s only a few, then I can take care of it. If it’s a big group, then we’ll go back to the Lodge and form a plan to lead them away.”
Her expression suddenly became dark, “By ‘take care of it’, you mean…”
I took a deep breath, “Nadya, you know I can’t let hunters be this close to us.”
“I know, Jay.” Nadya gripped her cup of coffee in both hands, “And I know what these people do. I’m not arguing against it, but…”
“You don’t have to be involved.” I assured her.
She struggled to make eye contact with me, “I already am.”
I didn’t realize until then that Nadya was right. It hadn’t even crossed my mind because killing hunters was hardly anything to me other than a necessity. Every hunter life I ended was making life safer for the people I love. It was purging the world of the actual monsters. But regardless of how I felt about it, it was still taking a life. That was something that Nadya was deeply uncomfortable with. And I was making her complicit.
I shook my head at myself, looking down at the contents of my mug in guilt, “Fuck, I wasn’t thinking.” How could I have been so stupid? Why didn’t I bring Skye or Toby instead? They would make more sense, but no, I had to bring my human girlfriend along because I couldn’t stand being away from her for a day or two. Christ, how selfish could I be? “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have brought you with me.”
“No, no,” Nadya shook her head at me, “I chose to come. I want to help keep the Lodge safe-- keep you safe. It’s just… I’m still trying to accept the other part of it.”
A very brief smile tugged at the corners of my mouth in response to her bravery and determination to protect our home, but also understood the grim reality that Nadya was coming to terms with about living this life. Half of me was shocked that it hadn’t scared her away from me yet.
“I know.” I replied softly.
“Here’s your pie.” A voice said, and I looked up to see the boy that was having issues with the espresso machine place a plate down between us, along with a couple of forks and napkins.
“Thank you.” Nadya replied, giving him a grateful smile as he nodded and walked away. Then, she looked to me, “Let’s take a break from the morality talk for some pie.” Her joke was lighthearted, and she flashed a playful look while picking up a fork to take a bite.
I laughed at her when she smiled in satisfaction. The thick, sweet scent filled my lungs, making my mouth water. “Pie beats morality every time.”
Nadya chuckled, shaking her head, but shrugged in agreement. She went for another forkful and motioned at her plate, “You want some? It’s pretty good.”
“Sure,” I went to pick up the other fork.
As soon as my fingers made contact, there was a violent burning sensation to my hand. I had already halfway picked it up, but the painful shock caused me to involuntarily drop the fork. A loud clang sounded through the small coffee shop when the metal collided with the ceramic plate and then came to rest on the surface of the wooden table. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw startled heads snap in our direction. Nadya jumped in surprise too, looking at me in confusion.
I only had a moment to understand and react. The fork was silver. It was a trap to expose me. Without a doubt, there was a hunter in this coffee shop and they were watching me very carefully. I didn’t want to give them the satisfaction. The encounter had to be on my terms. It was imperative that I pass this off as clumsiness. So, I shook my head in faux amusement at myself, made eye contact with Nadya, and forced myself to pick up the fork again.
Immediately, intense burning flared all over my hand like I had grabbed the fork out of a molten furnace. It took everything in me to keep a calm expression. “It’s okay,” I told Nadya quietly through clenched teeth while I speared a bite off her plate to pacify her concerned look, “The fork is silver.”
Her eyes widened, glancing down at the hand that I could barely contain a tremble in, “What are you--?”
“Relax.” I told her, carefully taking a bite and placing the fork back down. The relief I felt from not being in contact with the horrid metal anymore nearly made me sigh loudly, “What small town coffee shop has genuine silver utensils?”
I saw the thought process in Nadya’s eyes as she put it together. Her face became calm as well and she casually ate another bite. “What do we do?”
“Just finish our stuff,” I answered, subtly rubbing my stinging hand on my pants to soothe the burns, “Then we’ll take a walk and see if anyone follows us.”
“Your hand,” Nadya reached for me when I put my arm back on the table. She gently grabbed my wrist, turning it around so she could quickly glance at the burns. In order to make it look like she was flirting, she began to caress my forearm. It wasn’t all an act, I could feel the underlying effects of her genuine comfort.
I smiled and gave a dismissive shrug, “It’s fine.”
There was a flash of concern across her face and I guessed it wasn’t only for my hand. Our stakeout suddenly became real. A hunter was in this coffee shop that wanted me dead or worse, and I feared for Nadya’s safety if she got in their way. We continued on like nothing was wrong in hopes to throw them off, but there was a deep seated feeling of unease that was growing inside my chest. It was telling me that we definitely didn’t go unnoticed, nor did we completely diffuse suspicion. There were eyes on us, and it took more than a little self control not to look for them.
Once we were done, Nadya looked at me expectantly, and I nodded. We casually got up, making our way to the exit with no rush. Again, I felt those eyes on our backs, scrutinizing our every movement, making my spine prickle.
My shoulder brushed Nadya’s when I stepped closer to her, “Do not leave my side unless I tell you to.” I instructed quietly.
“I wasn’t planning on it.” She replied, reaching for my unburned hand to lace our fingers together.
Her contact gave me a boost of confidence, and I pushed the front door open with a jingle from the annoying little bell on the wall. “Let’s go around the back.”
“You don’t think they fell for it?” Nadya asked.
We rounded the corner and I led her down the alley between the coffee shop and some sort of clothing store, “Nope. I think whoever set that trap knows exactly what I am. They won’t go after you though, so if I tell you to run, you run.”
“We’ve been through this before, Jay.” Nadya scolded, “I’m not going anywhere without you.”
My jaw clenched to grind my teeth at her reply. Nadya’s resolve didn’t surprise me. In fact, I expected it. I knew I should love her for it, and a part of me did, but it still scared me like always. I’d never let go of the foolish hope that one day she would listen to me if we were ever in a bad enough situation.
“Well, do me a favor and don’t be a hero.” I cringed internally at the unintentional harshness of my words.
Nadya opened her mouth to argue at the same time that I opened mine to elaborate on my meaning, but a figure stepped in our path before the argument could start. “You’re shitting me.” I cursed dryly at the sight of the boy that was fighting with the espresso machine.
I suspected that one of the employees was a hunter, but the sight of this prick with his apron still on and gun raised in an unsteady hand wasn’t what I was expecting. “Don’t you move, mutt.” He commanded with a wavering tone.
My arm instinctually moved to shield Nadya, slowly pushing her behind me. Her hand gripped my bicep nervously, the scent of her distress already spiking. Thankfully, she didn’t fight me. Not yet at least. Once I was placed between the young hunter and Nadya, I studied my enemy.
The kid couldn’t have been older than sixteen, and the way he was holding his gun, the fear in his eyes and the tremble in his body, revealed his inexperience. This was probably the first time he was out on his own. There was very little confidence in his demeanor, which was also telling. It was obvious that no backup was coming any time soon. He probably thought he could make his dad proud if he bagged a werewolf by himself. That would be his mistake.
I scoffed, “You’re a little in over your head, kid.”
“Shut up.” He spat defiantly, gripping his pistol tighter. I could see from here that the safety was still on. Then, he addressed Nadya, “I only want the wolf. You can still leave while you can.”
“He’s right.” I agreed nonchalantly. “Why don’t you go grab us another coffee?”
Nadya’s rapidly growing anxiety filled my senses, “Jay--”
“I told you to shut up!” The boy’s voice cracked, “You’re coming with me, got it?”
My eyebrows shot up, “Well, I guess I can’t argue with the big man here.” I gently pulled out of Nadya’s grip and stepped forward without breaking eye contact with the little hunter. To his credit, he stood his ground. Though he did tense at my approach. “Why don’t we just wrap this up right now, huh? Get it over with. Pull the trigger.”
“Jayde, what are you doing?” Nadya asked tersely.
My gaze didn’t leave the boy’s. “I wanna see what the kid’s got.”
“Be careful what you wish for.” He bit back.
I raised my arms briefly before letting them fall back to my sides in boredom. “I’m waiting.”
There was a quiet pause as the air filled with a thickness of all the emotions being felt. Anxiety, hatred, anticipation. Everything around us seemed to go still while the young hunter mulled over his options. I smirked at his struggle, the look on his face not entirely dissimilar to the expression he had with the machine in the coffee shop. Then boy’s face suddenly twisted in fearful resolve, and he shut his eyes tight. His finger squeezed the trigger. Obviously nothing happened.
When his eyes opened in shock and met mine, I shrugged. “The safety.”
He frowned, turning his gun to inspect it, which gave me the opportunity to attack. My left hand shot out to grip his wrist and wrench it to the side. A pained shout echoed in the alley as the gun clattered on the ground when I squeezed his wrist hard enough to force him to let it go. My right hand swung to deliver a blow to his gut. Air was pushed out of the hunter’s lungs in a groan, but he recovered quicker than I was expecting. I saw a flash of silver in his left hand before something hard and burning connected with my jaw.
I released him and stumbled back, my hand going to the area affected. I looked up to see the silver knuckles held in his fingers. A crooked grin slowly tugged at the corner of my mouth at the new challenge presented to me. This fight finally got interesting. Maybe the little brat had some tricks up his sleeve after all.
My forearm blocked his second punch from his right hand, distracting me for the half second he needed to throw another blow with the silver knuckles. The burning caught me in the mouth, splitting my lip open and filling my mouth with the first taste of my own blood. I quickly kneed him in the gut, the force of my hit sending him back a couple paces, but he remained standing.
“That all you got?” I taunted while he was doubled over and retching.
Fury glazed over his eyes at his humiliation, and he wiped his forearm under his nose. With a lackluster roar, the hunter charged me. I let his weight throw me against the side of the brick building where he kept me pinned. The impact caused me to grunt, and he pounded his fist into my ribs over and over again as hard as he could. I started to regret dragging this out once I felt that the silver really was adding more pain to his strikes. When one of my ribs cracked, I realized I needed to do something to stop this, but my mind was going a little hazy. The silver knuckles connected with my face again, making more blood flow from my mouth and nose, running down my chin and staining my shirt as much as the boy’s hand.
“Get away from her!” Nadya’s voice awakened my senses, shaking me out of my daze.
She came up behind the hunter, grabbing him and trying desperately to pull him off of me. Unfortunately, the unwanted nuisance tore his attention away from me for a horrifying moment. He spared Nadya one angry glance before swinging his elbow back to strike her in the face. Nadya cried out, stumbling away and barely keeping her footing. I saw her hand go to hold her mouth, the first trail of crimson trickle between her fingers.
The game was over now. No more fucking around. Rage lit up my eyes and made my skin tingle. I gripped the hunter’s shoulders and whipped him down to the ground with every bit of strength I could muster. All of the air was forced out of his lungs, and I sure as hell didn’t give him the chance to recover either. I drove a right hook hard into the side of his face, feeling something crunch under it’s force, and laid into him again. I pictured him hitting Nadya, and punched him one more time for good measure.
Shockingly, the guy was still conscious. His face was pretty fucked up now, but he was still kicking. Time to finish it. I didn’t really like the fact that I had to kill a kid, but he was a hunter. Maybe not as much of a threat right now, but he’ll grow up. Who knows how many families and packs this kid will murder? How many people his family has already tortured and killed? It had to be done. I knew it. The best thing I could do was to make it quick. The question was, How? I could break his neck. Shoot him in the head. Stab him in the heart…
As I was running through the options, his eyes bore into mine. He knew he was done for. Any other hunter would be glaring at me in defiance. Or cursing me out, going off about how their family members would seek revenge against me. But he was staring up at me in pure terror. The certainty that there was no way out of this was crystal clear in his watery eyes. In this moment, I wasn’t holding a werewolf hunter at my mercy. I was holding a child.
Something about it made me hesitate. It wasn’t like I haven’t killed someone like him before. Though, to be fair, those were different circumstances. Desperate times where I was alone with no other choice. And I was more or less a child myself during that time. Hell, a few years back, I would end this little twerp without a second thought. So, why the fuck was I struggling with it now?
“Jayde,” Nadya gasped, bringing me back to earth again. Her voice sounded so close, yet a thousand miles away.
My hand wrapped around the boy’s throat in resolve. I noticed with a scowl that my palms were sweaty. It has to be done. My heart began to pound. I have to protect my pack. My head was throbbing, my skin was burning and tingling. The kid’s fear filled my lungs, nearly drowning me. I have to protect my people. I wanted to be hit again. Why can’t I do it?
“Fuck.” I growled in deep frustration, switching my grip to grab his collar roughly, “If I ever see your face again,” My words were slow and menacing as I looked directly into his blue eyes with my glowing golden ones, “I will rip your throat out. Got it?”
He stared up at me, utterly dumbfounded and distrusting. “What?”
I stood, dragging the beat-up teenager with me, “If I see you again, I will kill you.” My shove was hard enough to knock him on his ass once more, “Not all of us are monsters.” I am. Or I was. “Now, get the fuck out of my sight.”
The little hunter stared up at me like I was speaking another language. Eventually, my words finally sunk in and he scrambled up to run away, glancing back at me once more before he rounded the corner like he thought I was going to change my mind. As soon as he was gone, I turned back to Nadya. The back of her hand was pressed to her lip to stem the bleeding, but she lowered it in shock. Gazing upon me like I was a stranger. Why was everyone looking at me like that?
“You let him go…” Nadya stated in wonder.
My eyes were immediately drawn to her blood. “Shit.” I hissed.
The split in her lip didn’t look any worse than mine, but I still rushed to her side and gingerly cupped her face to get a better look at it. God, I was so stupid. If I hadn’t fucked around like an asshole, she wouldn’t have gotten hurt. In my lust for a fight, I neglected Nadya’s safety. It may as well have been me that did this to her. What is wrong with me?
I was carefully turning her head from side to side in case I missed anything when Nadya echoed her words, “You let him go.”
“I did.” I confirmed plainly. Finding no other injury on her that needed immediate attention, my hand went to her lower back to steer her out of the alleyway towards the car. “Let’s get out of here.”
Many quiet minutes passed in the car. Street sings barely even registered. The pain from my injuries was nothing but a low buzzing in the back of my head. It was almost maddeningly quiet as my decision really started to sink in. Well, it wasn’t really a decision. It was a mistake that I was almost certain would get someone killed. Being unable to kill a hunter wasn’t a feeling that I was familiar with. Hell, being unable to kill anyone wasn’t something I struggled with. I almost wanted to turn the car around. Track that boy down and force myself to do it. But I knew that even if I did, I still wouldn’t be able to follow through.
The panic and confusion slowly turned to anger. I wanted to punch the steering wheel and curse myself. People were counting on me. They trusted me to take care of this hunter. To keep our home safe. And I let the little bastard go because of, what, empathy? Hunters didn’t deserve a moral code. Why?
“Why?” Nadya echoed my thoughts.
Her befuddlement was starting to irritate me. “Did you want me to kill him?”
I saw her shake her head out of the corner of my eye. “It’s not about what I want.”
I scoffed humorlessly, “Well, you certainly want answers, don’t you?”
Nadya didn’t seem deterred by my mood, “You didn’t let him go because of me, did you?”
My knuckles turned white as I gripped the steering wheel tighter and squeezed my eyes shut for a couple seconds. “No.”
“Then what happened?”
A long sigh escaped my lungs, and I had to hold back a wince from taking in such a deep breath, “I couldn’t.”
“Why?”
The words weren’t forming because I didn’t know. And it frustrated the hell out of me. What if I froze like that when someone I love is in danger? It made me feel afraid of myself. Like I was broken in an entirely different way. How many ways can I break?
“I’m sorry.” I told Nadya with a pitiful shake of my head.
“Are you apologizing for not being able to kill a teenager?” She asked in disbelief, “Because that’s not something you should be apologizing for.”
“No, it’s not that.” My arm came up to wipe my nose when I sniffled, “Well, it kind of is, but it’s not that simple. Don’t you understand how much danger I’ve put us in? I’m just pissed off at myself and confused. I’m sorry that I got you hurt.”
Nadya was quiet for a moment, “It’s not all your fault. You did tell me not to be a hero.”
“I didn’t mean it to sound the way it did.”
“I know.”
The car fell into a silence again. One that felt like it would linger until we got home, but after a while, Nadya spoke up again, “You wanna tell me what you were doing back there?” When I frowned at her, she elaborated, “I know how you fight. You were letting him hurt you.”
“Nadya,” I sighed her name, “You really want to bring this up right now?”
“Yes, because look at you.” Her voice raised ever so slightly, “That fight could’ve been over before it started, but you just… you let him hit you. I thought you were going to let him shoot you!”
“I wasn’t going to let him do any serious damage.”
“It doesn’t matter!” Nadya shouted. It wasn’t an angry shout. It was pained. “That’s not the first time you’ve done something like that.”
Just the thought of trying to explain it to her right now made my stomach flip. “Drop it.”
“I don’t want to.” She replied in that stubborn tone.
“Well, I do.” I snapped, shooting her a warning look.
Guilt made my eyes well up when I saw Nadya’s expression. I rarely ever snap at her like that. I hated it, but I was feeling too many goddamn emotions and I didn’t need her bringing up any more grief. My eyes returned to the road because I couldn’t handle looking at her anymore, and silence returned. A silence that felt more unbearable than the last. It felt like an eternity to get home. The only good thing that the eternity gave me was enough time to calm down. And to rationalize.
So, I let the hunter boy go. Even if that blows up in my face, which I was pretty sure it will eventually, I was still confident enough in my abilities to deal with the fallout. Nadya was right. I didn’t have to feel guilty about not being able to kill a child. I couldn’t imagine how she would be looking at me now if I had followed through with her witnessing it. The way she said my name when I was trying to do it made me realize that if I hadn’t stopped myself, she would’ve tried. Maybe through her shock, she was proud of me for letting him go.
I watched a bruise already forming at the corner of Nadya’s mouth while she was cleaning me up in our bathroom. Having her home and safe helped sober me up too. “I’m sorry.”
Her warm eyes glanced at mine, but I could tell she was still a little vexed with me. “You apologize a lot, you know.”
“About the fight,” I started, ignoring her comment, “It’s hard to explain, but fighting… being hit… it makes me feel good sometimes. Like I need it or something, I don’t know.”
Nadya paused at my words, slowly lowering the hand that was cleaning off the blood. “I figured it was something like that.” She said quietly.
I gave a small nod, “You don’t have to worry.”
“Jay,” She reached for my hand, lightly caressing the bruises along my knuckles with her thumb, “I know you think you need it, but there are other things that can ground you. All you’re doing is hurting yourself. Hurting others. You know how you feel when I get hurt? I feel the same thing every time I patch you up.”
“I know.” My gaze fell, “I’m sorry.”
Nadya’s finger tapped under my chin to get me to look at her. When I did, she said, “Don’t apologize. Just try to be more gentle with yourself, okay? That’s all I want for you.”
A grin gradually formed across my lips as she casually started to treat the silver burns on my hand. “You could convince anyone to do anything, you know that?”
Half a smile tugged at the uninjured corner of her mouth, “Which is why it’s my responsibility to only use it for good.”
“Where’s the fun in that?” I joked with a light chuckle. Nadya winked in response.
Once my hand was wrapped up, I set it on her waist to pull her closer while the other one lifted to rest against her cheek. “Hey,” I prompted with a stroke of my thumb.
“Hm?” She hummed, resting her forehead against mine.
“Thank you.”
I caught her smile before I shut my eyes. It made me smile too. Now that everything seemed to calm down, I got the all too familiar craving for her lips. Their softness and warmth would soothe that last bit of dread in my heart. Nadya must have been longing for the same because I felt her begin to lean in. Glad that I didn’t have to initiate, I went to eagerly meet her halfway. Our lips were just about to touch before I had a realization that made my heart freeze in panic.
The hand that was cradling her face shot down to her shoulder to stop her. “Wait.” I nearly jumped away from her.
Nadya stared at me in surprise and confusion, “What’s wrong?”
“Your lip,” I pointed out. Both of our lips were split, and even if mine wasn’t, my saliva would have still gotten into her open wound. I almost just turned Nadya into a werewolf with a kiss.
She touched her lip like she only noticed now that it was split. Then the realization of how close she came to being turned dawned on her. “Shit,” She muttered in wonder.
I was thinking the same. Frustration bubbled up in my chest again. Never did it occur to me that the hunters could take away my ability to kiss Nadya. I knew it was only for a few days or so— however long it takes for her to heal, but it still greatly annoyed me. Kissing her meant a lot to me, and the fact that they could sever that so easily made me want to punch something.
“I should’ve broken his fucking legs.” I growled under my breath.
Nadya smiled apologetically at me. “If it makes you feel better, I’m pretty sure you broke his jaw, so he won’t be kissing anyone for a while either.”
“It does make me feel better, thank you.”
She released an amused breath, “And there are other places to kiss. Like here.” Nadya brought up my hand to press her lips into my open palm, “And here.” She gently pecked the most noticeable bruise on my jaw, “Or here.” Her fingers brushed my skin when she moved my hair out of the way to expose my neck, planting a warm kiss to my pulse.
Each place her mouth touched was exactly what I needed. I felt all the complicated feelings I’ve been plagued with melt away at her contact. But where it replenished, it also made the urge to kiss her more unbearable to resist.
“You’re being a tease.” I warned.
She leaned back, sporting a smug expression, “Just think of it as extended foreplay.”
That made me laugh, and I had to hold my injured side for a second until the pain passed, “You’re terrible.” I said, pulling her in to kiss her temple.
“You love it.” Her eyes were bright with mischief.
I rolled my eyes dramatically and walked out of the bathroom with Nadya trailing close behind me.

Don’t Speak but Listen (S.R, B.B. smut)
Well, I did another fic challenge, this time for the lovely @angryschnauzer! My guidelines for my fic was Walking Dead AU with our favorite super soldiers, STUCKY!!!
Reader was awfully fond of the changes of season, one in particular: summer into fall. But when she and Bucky goes on a run and she winds up in a sex shop, the two soldiers have a brilliant idea on how to punish her.
Warnings: use of blindfolds and handcuffs, smut, sex(mxf), fucking one’s self(the m word creeps me out), slight domxsub scene, mmf, oral sex, fingering, mentions of a sex tot( not really) and my favorite warning: cursing!!!
Word Count: 2237 😅(the end is kind of rushed I’m so sorry this is a lot of garbage)
Tumblr media
Ever since the Apocalypse started back three years ago, I knew that I needed to savor the little things that I loved in my previous life. One of the biggest things that I had loved was when the leaves changed from green to beautiful shades of red, orange, and yellow into fall. New York was notorious for its change from summer to fall and it was my favorite time of the year. So of course, my best friends, Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes knew that they had to savor the moment of the seasons changing.
“Y/N, you seeing this?” Bucky asked, nudging me awake. I rubbed at my head, groaning when I realized that my headache from the night before still wasn’t gone, and asked,”Please tell me that we don’t have walkers standing outside of that door.”
Steve grinned down at me then answered,”Nope. C’mere and check it out.” He helped me to my feet and I peeked out the window, anxious at the sight that might greet me, then let out a sigh of relief. The leaves were finally brushing the grass and was creating small piles all over the yard. I gave my friends a small grin then asked,”You guys wanna go play in the leaves with me?”
The two exchanged smiles and we darted outside, making sure to take weapons in case we would run into a walker.
I stared down at the small piles and shuffled my feet through the leaves, enjoying the crunch underneath my boots. It was a soothing sound and when I turned to look at my best friends, I got a face full of leaves. I gaped at a grinning Steve then he threw more with a chuckle, racing around the trio of oak trees in our front yard as I started to chase him.
“You’re such a child!” I cried out, trying to stuff his shirt with the offending objects. In return, Bucky began helping his best friend defend himself against my pitiful leaf tossing.
We continued to throw the fallen objects at one another but just as I figured, our laughter drew some unwanted attention, causing us to retreat into the cabin once again after killing the stray walkers that wondered in on our fun.
“Hey, I’m sorry that you didn’t get to play in the leaves more.” Bucky apologized, grasping my hand before kissing my palm. I smiled up at him then replied,”Eh, it’s okay. I’m glad that I got to play in the leaves, even if it was for a short period of time.”
“Maybe after you and Buck get back from your run today, we can go back out.” Steve suggested, settling on our little couch that we found just a few weeks ago. I hummed in agreement then nodded, motioning for Bucky to lead the way to the car, knowing that the sooner that we left for in town, the better we would be off.
“Be careful and don’t do anything stupid please!” Steve called out after us, waving us away toward town.
-
To say that the run didn’t go as planned was the understatement of the year. Bucky gave me specific instructions to stay by his side but that was before I found out our big problem.
Someone’s group was skimming all of the supplies that my friends and I had gathered over the last few weeks and I wasn’t sure what to do, so I lured the four people into a shop one by one to take them out. But what I didn’t realize was what kind of shop I had entered.
It was a sex shop in case you were wondering. And that’s where Bucky found me, his two backpacks filled to the brim and mine was empty. His eyebrows furrowed together at the sight then demanded,”What the hell were you thinking, I told you to stay behind me!”
I started to explain my reasoning but he rolled his blue eyes and bit out,”Just get in the fucking truck, Y/N. I want to get back home.”
The car ride back to the cabin was bitterly quiet and I glanced up at him, beginning to make my case, only for him to shut me down once again.
And when we got back home, I realized that my case wasn’t going anywhere, especially when Bucky brought Steve into things.
“I honestly don’t know why you won’t let me explain! Plus, I’m a big girl, I can take care of myself perfectly. I don’t need to follow you around like a little duckling. You don’t need to be so pissed off!” I snapped, shoving open the front door, hoping that it would slam in his face. But unfortunately that didn’t work out.
“You didn’t fucking listen to me out there, that’s why I’m pissed!” Bucky shouted, following me into the house, where Steve was relaxing on the couch, a look of confusion crossing his face briefly, before he asked,”What happened?”
“Little Princess over here decided that she was going to fucking risk her life over a fucking vibrator!” Bucky snapped, blue eyes glowering with his rage.
“Jesus Christ, it wasn’t like that!” I shouted, chest heaving with annoyance. He barked out a bitter laugh and looked over me before demanding, ”Really? Then would you mind explaining to me why the hell I found you in a fucking sex shop?” I opened my mouth to reply when I watched Steve come to a stand, my words failing to come out.
The blond tangled his fingers through my hair and yanked back, forcing me to meet his stunning eyes.
“You were in a sex shop?”he hissed out, his nose brushing my own as he leaned closer. I started to reply but he crushed his lips to mine, cutting off my statement. I whimpered into his mouth and he pulled away, turning to Bucky, saying,”You found her in there, you deal with her in your way.”
“Excellent.” Bucky purred, stepping forward. He lifted me over his shoulder and slapped my ass, my body jolting forward. He tossed me onto the bed and snatched the handcuffs that we kept in case we run into some unfriendly people along the way, then snapped them onto my wrists, cuffing me to the bed.
“Bucky, what the hell are you doing?” I shouted, struggling in my restraints as he shifted through our makeshift closet, obviously looking for something.
“You shut your pretty mouth or I’ll bend you over my knee and spank your ass bruised.”he threatened, finally finding whatever he was looking for. Steve entered the bedroom then stroked his beard, index finger running over his bottom lip.
“Steve, please!” I pleaded, giving him a pout but he only shrugged in return. I turned back to Bucky and froze at the sight that greeted me. He was now shirtless, the scars from his life part of his flawless physique, and I watched as his metal arm flexed as he twisted the tie that he had in between his hands.
“I’m going to blindfold you and give you what you’ve wanted since we met. But first, you’re gonna need a little bit of punishment, doll.” He tied the blindfold over my eyes and I gave a small sigh, knowing that nothing good could come from Bucky’s punishments. A small grunt escaped one of the men and I whimpered, the realization of what his form of a punishment was.
“He’s got such a pretty cock, Princess. It’s a damn shame that you can’t see him stroking himself.” Steve murmured in my ear, giving me a kiss on my cheek.
“No.” I gasped out. He hummed in assurement then replied,”Yes ma’am, he’s got his fist all around his dick. Do you want to see?”
“Yes, please! Let me see, please, please, let me see you, let me watch please!” I begged, legs falling open in invitation. Bucky hummed and leaned forward, taking my earlobe between his teeth before he tugged, releasing it slowly, then he gave me an answer,”No.”
I gave a frustrated cry, hips rising to find something to soothe the ache, when I felt fingers slide in between the folds of my pussy, a small gasp escaping me.
“Filthy little whore. You’re soaking wet.” Steve hissed and Bucky lifted my blindfold finally, revealing the sight that I had been desperate to watch.
Steve was settled between my thighs, perched up with one elbow, and I turned my head slightly, locking my gaze to where Bucky was getting himself off.
“What’s wrong, sweetheart, you want my cock?”he asked, his tone smug. I nodded eagerly then my head slammed back as Steve sucked my clit into his mouth, giving a small nip as he laved it over with his tongue.
“Let Stevie make you come with that sweet mouth of his and I’ll fuck you senselessly, alright?”he offered, kissing the corner of my mouth. I lifted my head to catch his kiss, only for Steve to wrap his hand around my throat, slamming me back.
“Don’t move, whore. I mean it.”he snarled, shoving three fingers into me. I gave a small shriek then Bucky covered the sound, pushing two of his own fingers into my mouth.
“Shh, sweetheart, you can’t be doing that. You remember what kinda shit we’ll deal with if you make too much noise.” Bucky murmured, pulling his hand away from his dick and his fingers from my mouth.
“I’m sorry.” I whimpered, blinking tears away. Steve’s blue eyes peered up at my expression then he pulled away from my cunt, his fingers never stopping their speed, as he replied,”It’s okay, doll, don’t cry. We know you want to come, but you can’t be too loud, okay?”
I nodded in agreement then he grinned, saying, ”What a good girl, trying to make things right with us. What do you say, Buck, think you should finally fuck her?”
“Fuck yeah.”the brunet breathed, eyes glued to where Steve rubbed rough circles into my clit, hips twitching with restraint.
“P-please may I come?” I whimpered, fingers tight in the comforter underneath my body. Steve gave a small lick to my core then Bucky stated,”What a polite whore. I guess you can come.”
My head tilted back and he covered my mouth, a cry bubbling up my throat before escaping softly. Steve continued his ministrations, sucking and licking in all the right places to draw out my orgasm as long as possible. Finally the blond pulled away and I slumped against the bed, panting. Bucky finally uncuffed my wrists then kissed the marked skin before he asked,”Are you ready to take my dick, baby doll?”
I gave a small nod then he smiled, pulling me to him, and gripped the base of his cock, brushing the head against my slit.
My fingers tightened around his biceps as he slowly pushed into me, my walls grasping greedily for more. I thrashed my head back and forth, eager for him to begin moving, then I begged, ”Please fuck me, Buck, please, please, I’ll be good, I’ll listen, please fuck me!”
He gave a grin then finally, began fucking me like I wanted him to. The sound of skin slapping skin and small groans filled the room and I locked eyes with Steve, who reached up then rubbed at my clit, my hips jerking at the new sensation.
“You’re so desperate to come on his cock, sweetheart, but you have to ask nice or we won’t let you come again.”the blond instructed, giving me a pointed look. I turned to glance at Bucky who then picked up his speed, slamming into me, before he ordered,”Come on, baby doll, you can do it. Ask me to make you come again.”
Suddenly, my mouth began running and I couldn’t bring myself to shut the hell up.
“Please let me come, don’t stop fucking me, please, I can take it, don’t stop! Make me come, let me come, I’ll come on your cock so good, Buck, please! I’m sorry that I didn’t listen to you!” I cried, my body rocking with the force of his thrusts. The brunet gave a mean grin and finally, started rubbing fast circles on my clit, never slowing his pace once.
“Oh God, I’m going to come, ‘m gonna come, please let me come!” I pleaded, hips arching to meet his. Steve gave a nod then finally agreed,”Let her come.”
After my orgasm hit, the rest was a bit of a blur. I remember him coming on my stomach then small grunts filled my ears, Steve obviously working himself to an orgasm.
When the sun brushed my face the next morning, my eyes fluttered open and I made my way downstairs to where Bucky and Steve sat on the couch, guns cocked and aimed at a trio of men: one Asian and the other two white. I gave a hesitant look then pulled my own gun as I asked, “Boys? Who’s your new buds?”
“Rick, Daryl, and Glenn. They’ve been watching us a while and they have a proposition for us.” Bucky informed me, his voice tense with uncertainty.
“And that is what exactly?” I asked in return, curling my hand around Steve’s neck for comfort, my gun still aimed at the three.
“We’d like for ya to join our group.”

Displeasure (Ashton Irwin Smut) Part 2
Tumblr media
Masterlist
Request
Warnings: smuuuttttt; 18+ minors dni
A/N: As requested, here’s part two!!! Hope you guys enjoy it, feedback is always appreciated! Also shout out to @thicc-bread for editing this, ily.
Part 1**//
Three days. Three fucking days, since Ashton walked out of detention and left you beyond frustrated and pissed off. The past few days Ashton has carried on like nothing out of the ordinary had happened, and that only angered you more. Today is just like the rest, you carry on throughout all of your classes only dreading the last one, which happened to be next. As expected, Ashton made sure to sit right next to you, and you were hoping this wouldn’t land you both in detention again.
“Hey, angel,” he says smugly. You can practically hear the smirk in his voice, making you roll your eyes and continue to copy notes off the board.
“You weren’t this quiet on Tuesday.” Your cheeks flare up at his comment and you try to hide your face with your hair.
“Oh, c’mon, Y/N,” he says, pushing a piece of hair behind your ear, “you’re not still mad I didn’t let you cum are ya?”
Groaning, you rub your hands over your face, still sporting a deep shade of red on your cheeks, “shut up, Ashton. Just shut up,” you mumble.
Suddenly, the teacher begins talking to start class, and you let out a sigh of relief, focusing your attention to the front of the room. About halfway through class, you feel Ash move closer to you, his thighs brushing against yours. Swallowing harshly, you grip your pen tightly and continue taking notes, but your writing falters when you feel his hand brush against your knee.
“Ashton,” you mutter in a warning tone. He just hums in response and moves his hand up a bit higher, causing you to bite your lip.
Class continues on and you try to focus on the words your teacher is saying, but you are finding it more and more difficult as time goes on. The warmth radiating off his hand so close to your core is causing sparks to erupt in your belly, and you begin fidgeting with your pen and tensing your legs. Suddenly his breath hits the shell of your ear and he whispers, “flustered, angel?” Goosebumps erupt over your skin and you turn to glare at him. A smirk is plastered on his face and he raises an eyebrow at your feeble response of, “fine.” You both share a look and as he opens his mouth to say something more, but the bell rings and he squeezes your thigh, making you jump slightly in your seat. Not wasting any time, you quickly grab your things and rush out of the room into the busy hallway, trying to put as much space between the two of you as you can. Surprisingly, you manage to get to your locker, grab your backpack and make it to the front doors, without running into Ashton. You should have known your luck wouldn’t last for long when you hear his familiar drawl behind you.
“Now, now, darling, you didn’t think you could get away from me that easily, did you?”
Groaning, you glance over your shoulder but continue walking, wanting this week to just be over. Soon enough he’s beside you, matching your stride with his long legs. You grumble, “what do you think you’re doing?”
“Giving you what you want,” he replies simply.
You scoff, “and what exactly is that?”
“Plenty of time for questions later, angel,” he says wrapping his arm around your shoulders and guiding you through the parking lot. He opens the passenger door to his beat up car and turns around to see you looking at him with a blank expression.
“What,” he says, raising an eyebrow and smirking, “you prefer the backseat instead of the passenger?” You choke on air at his implication, with your cheeks burning once again, you climb into the car. He gives you a small smile and jogs to the drivers side, hopping in and starting the engine.
As he turns out of the parking lot, you look over at him, “where are we going?” A smug grin plays on his lips, he shrugs.
“For a ride.” You raise your eyebrows, but turn to look back at the road in front of you two.
“Why do you need to be so mysterious?”
“Cause it gets you all hot and bothered,” he winks at you. You groan and roll your eyes at his cocky remark, slightly frustrated because you know he’s right. “Why is it so hard for you to admit you want me?”
“Because I don’t really know you, Ashton. You make it your mission to irritate me, but you don’t even know me,” you explain.
“But I do, your favorite color is purple, you hate olives, except on pizza. You love poetry, but you don’t want to seem pretentious so you don’t talk about it often. Your childhood dog, Lexi, died last summer and it absolutely broke your heart. We’ve gone to school together since we were 5 years old, and you never paid me any mind until I started ‘irritating’ you.”
You sit there, staring at him with your mouth agape in shock, you try to answer but you end up just stuttering.
“You never bothered to get to know me,” he says simply.
“I ––fuck, I just don’t let people get close to me. It’s not just you, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to purposefully shut you out,” you explain quietly. He pulls the car into some abandoned parking lot on the outskirts of town, and put the car in park.
He looks over at you with sad eyes, “it’s okay, I – I didn’t plan the detention thing, it just kind of happened…” he trails off for a moment, “it seemed to have caught your attention so I just kinda rolled with it.” You place your hand on his and give him a reassuring smile.
“It’s okay, I, uh, I liked it,” you mumble in a quiet voice, placing your hands back in your lap self-consciously.
“I know,” his cockiness returning, and he places his hand back on your upper thigh, squeezing it lightly. You snort at how quickly his demeanor shifted, but you had to admit knowing he actually cared enough about you to learn all those things, had you swooning inside. You look up from your lap over to him to see he’s already looking at you and your eyes flicker quickly down to his lips. You slowly start to close the space between your lips and his, but just before they touch, Ashton pulls back slightly, “are you sure?” His eyebrows are pulled up in concern and his eyes search your face for any hesitation. You nod your head and press your mouth against his in a tentative kiss, but soon you feel his hands on your body. You’re driven by a feverish need to be closer to him and you grip his shirt in your hands, pulling him as close as you can in the awkward space of the front seat.
When you pull back, you manage a breathy “Please, Ash.”
He hums as his lips move to your neck, “please, what, angel?”
“Please just fuck me.”
“Not here,” he says, pulling back to look at you, “I’m not fucking you in the back of my car.”
You merely raise your eyebrows at him, “why not? You ate me out at the school, how is this different?”
“Because, I’m not having sex with you for the first time in an abandoned parking lot, in the back of my shitty car!”
“If you want there to be more than a first time then you better get your ass back here,” you say climbing over the center console. You look over your shoulder at him expectantly. He merely sighs and moves into the backseat with you. “It can be special next time, please I need you,” you whisper against his skin. He lets out a low growl and crashes his lips into yours in a heated kiss. His tongue instantly swipes across your bottom lip and you quickly allow it to invade your mouth, exploring every inch. Your hands tangle through his curly locks and you swing one leg over his lap, straddling him. Both of you let out groans as you grind your hips against his and his hands knead your ass firmly. You travel you lips away from his and down his jaw line to his neck, sucking and biting along your way. Stopping at a particular spot, you bite down harshly, causing him to hiss at the pain, and you quickly soothe the spot with your tongue. You continue down his body, until you reach the top of his jeans, unbuttoning them and pulling the zipper down, looking up at him as you did so. He watches you closely as you pull his pants down, with his help, and palm him through his boxers. A groan falls from his lips as you slip his boxers off, freeing his hardened dick from it’s confinements. You smirk and lick a strip up his length, stopping at the tip and swirling your tongue around the slit, collecting the small drops precum on your tastebuds. He lets out a loud moan and tugs on your hair harshly as you slowly take as much of him in your mouth as possible. You slowly bob your head up and down, one of your hands fondling his balls, and you hollow your cheeks around his cock. “Fuck, Y/N,” Ash moans above you, his eyes watching you suck him off. You continue swallowing him down  until he pushes you off him, “are you sure you still wanna..” Groaning, you match your gaze with his, “yes, Ash, I’m absolutely positive. I want you to fuck me.”
Nodding, he places his lips back on yours and pulls you onto his lap once again. He tugs at you shirt, and you quickly take it off, your shorts following. One of his hands travels down your torso to your clothed core, rubbing it through your thong making you let out a moan.
“No foreplay, we’ve done that before, I just want you inside me, please.”
He nods and helps you out of your panties and he tosses them into the front seat and you quirk an eyebrow at him. Shrugging, he says, “they’re mine now, just like you,” making you roll your eyes and bring your lips back to his. You line your entrance up with his tip, and slowly sink down on him, loud moans sounding from both of you. His hands grip your hips and you lift yourself up before slamming back down on top of him, reveling in the feeling of him filling you up. You swivel your hips before repeating your actions and his lips find your neck, sucking and nibbling along the skin. You’re both breathing heavy, humidity filling the small space causing fog to form on the windows.
“That’s it, angel. Fuck yourself on me, just like that,” he says, looking up at you. His hair is matted against his forehead with sweat, and his hips are stuttering up, meeting yours. Your hands are braced against his chest and you moan out as he thrusts his hips harshly up into you. Your stomach tightens and your walls clench around him, making Ashton groan out in pleasure, “fuck, baby, do that again.” You clench around him once more and you can feel yourself being pushed closer and closer to the edge. His hands move to your breasts, massage them and tweaking your nipples, and you cry out. He can feel you on the edge of orgasm and he slides one hand down to where your bodies meet and begins rubbing harsh circles on your clit. You can hear your voice chanting his name at an embarrassing volume and his finger puts even more pressure against your sensitive nub. You bite into his shoulder as you feel yourself being pushed over the edge. Your walls clenching once again around his cock, causing him to cum painting your walls white. Pleasure washes over your body and your eyes close as you both ride out your high with heavy breaths. He pushes some hair out of your face and you open your eyes to look at him, both of you letting out a small giggle. His arms wrap around your naked torso, pulling you to his sweaty chest.
“I guess that was special,” he murmurs into your hair. You sigh happily against his skin, regretting not noticing this side of Ashton sooner.

Puppy Love
Summary: 1714 words of self-indulgent petplay with extremely sappy aftercare
Warnings: d/s themes, punishment, degradation n humiliation, fucking leg humping bc idk, use of the word slut, some praise tho, pain kink, sex toys kinda?? i think thats all
A/n: i discussed this concept with morg at like 12am in the morning so blame them for this
Phil doesn’t even need to ask when he wants to play, Dan knows by now the signs of him slowly slipping into subspace. Stress can cause it, Phil loves getting to let go of his anxieties and worries, even if it’s only for an evening with Dan. It gives him a special kind of respite from every day life, one where he can relax and simply let Dan take care of him, think for him, and let him trust in the knowledge that he’d be safe no matter what. Even after it’s over, he feels more ready to take on whatever was troubling him before.
And it’s good for Dan to, he’s a control freak at heart, and getting to have his boyfriend utterly at his will got him going in a way that used to make him feel guilty, worry he was too demanding or overbearing. Nowadays there was no shame, Dan loved to control, and Phil loved being controlled, if only for the scene.
Today play started in the morning, Dan could tell Phil needed a break, the week had been overwhelming for him, and he deserved to be taken care of. He woke Phil up with his lips around his cock, eyes shooting open, adrenaline rushing from the unknown stimulation. Dan knew he was okay with this, he’d proclaimed his love for being woken up by a blowjob or rimjob numerous times, more times than Dan could count in fact. It made him feel subby instantly, legs forced spread and cock throbbing helplessly, all while he could hardly even think, mind still clouded with being barely awake.
Phil’s thighs started trembling, and Dan popped off; he could tell he was getting close, and Dan had better, longer plans for today than just a short and sweet orgasm. Phil whined and pouted his lips when Dan pulled away, but held his hips still when he told him to.
“Alright lovely, I’ve got a plan for today, do you wanna be my little puppy? Let me make you feel good?” Dan explained, running a soothing hand up and down Phil’s thigh. Phil nodded, and Dan squeezed the soft flesh like a confirmation that he’d take good care of him all throughout the scene.
“Okay, I’m gonna go out, get some chores done, why don’t you get yourself nice and ready for me while I’m gone?” Dan said, voice soft and cooing, almost overly sweet in the way it purred in Phil’s ear. He liked it that way, just a little bit condescending, a little bit patronizing, but still full of fondness.
“Yes Master, how do you want me to get ready?” Phil asked, smiling when Dan’s fingers trailed higher up his thigh, almost daring to slip under the pant leg of his boxers.
“Just a shower, stretch yourself, and get yourself in your puppy gear. You’ll look so pretty, my lovely pup.” Dan praised, kissing Phil’s forehead and ruffling his hair, the soft affection almost teasing when Phil couldn’t get what else he had planned for him out of his head. They stayed like that for few more minutes, just Dan gently pushing Phil further and further into subspace, until he actually did have to get going. There were genuine chores to be done, after all.
He pulled away and Phil whimpered, only reassured by the knowledge that Dan would come back, and a tiny head pat.
“I’ll be back before you know it puppy, just be good for me, okay? You know your rules.” Dan instructed as he left, blowing Phil a kiss because he was a softie at heart, and closing the bedroom door behind him. Phil got to work as soon as he was gone, undressing himself and hopping in the shower. He resisted the urge to stretch himself then, knowing it would probably lead to full-on shower masturbation—and that was against Dan’s rules. Instead, he simply shaved, and put extra conditioner in his hair, knowing Dan would be running his fingers through it a lot tonight.
After the shower, he got himself in his puppy ears—floppy, tan, and absolutely adored by Dan—and laid himself down on the bed, dipping his fingers in the lube Dan kept on their dresser, and circling his rim. He slipped in two at once, wanting to get the process over before he risked getting too turned on. It felt so good, too good, and Phil couldn’t help but get carried away with the pleasure, ending up fucking himself fervently on all four fingers. He bit down onto the sheets, ears bobbing each time he rutted back against his own touch.
Growing frustrated with himself, Phil pulled his fingers out, needing a better, stronger stimulation. He grabbed his tail plug, and pressed it quickly past his rim, wincing at the tiny bit of pain his own impatience brought him. Grabbing the remote hidden in Dan’s bedside drawer, he turned on the vibrations, yelping at the sudden jolt of pleasure. He was never allowed to use the vibe without Dan’s permission when they were in play, but he was desperate, so hard it hurt, and Dan wouldn’t be back for some time. Or so he’d thought.
Just as he was nearing his orgasm, Dan opened the door, the stern frown on his face making Phil shiver with shame. He sat up and turned to face Dan, an apology on the tip of his tongue, but choked off by Dan’s fingers wrapping around his throat. The pressure was gentle, barely even pressing on the arteries, but combined with the way Dan’s eyes were practically burning into his it made Phil light headed.
“You’ve been a very, very bad puppy, do you know that Phil? You’re going to have to be punished.” He chastised, tightening his grip on Phil’s neck. Phil’s heart was thrumming in his chest—Dan rarely had to ever punish him, but the few times it did happen, he was left sobbing and shaking in the best way possible. Dan’s hand left his neck in favor of his hair, tugging harshly and forcing Phil to look down to the ground.
“Get on the floor, slut. You can hump my fucking leg to come, like the dog you are.” Dan commanded, voice not leaving any room for noncompliance. Phil shuffled off the bed instantly, cheeks flushing hot as he rutted against the rough material of Dan’s denim jeans. He tried to stare at the floor, lips parted and eyes fluttering shut as he let himself get lost in the sensation.
“Faster, bitch, humiliate yourself for me.” Dan growled, pulling Phil’s hair and forcing him to look up, eyes wide as they made contact with Dan’s. He did as Dan asked, grinding his hips faster and whining at the slight burn on his cock. It felt better than it should have, the pain really only making him leak more precum, wet and warm on Dan’s leg.
“You’re getting me all dirty puppy, lay on your back, I’ll get you off with my shoe.” Dan said, voice a bit softer, a bit gentler as Phil laid back for him, legs spread and absolutely helpless. He knew it was difficult for Phil to relax like this, he was so exposed and unguarded, but he knew Dan wouldn’t ever dare to really hurt him, and that was enough to calm his nerves.
Dan nudged Phil’s thighs a bit more open, and then grinded down hard into his cock. The sole of his shoe was rough and demanding on Phil’s cock, and it drove him even further into subspace. He was so weak, so pitiful before his Master, and Dan was absolutely loving it, loving giving and giving until Phil couldn’t take anymore. He pushed harder and Phil squirmed, legs jolting shut around Dan’s ankle on reflex, trembling harshly. Dan leaned down and gently pulled them apart, not feeling the need to reprimand him when he was taking his punishment so well.
Phil’s legs started quivering and Dan knew he was getting close. He ordered Phil to rut up against his shoe, smiling and praising him when he quickly bucked up his hips.
“Master, Master, it feels so good, love when you’re—fuck!—rough with me. Can I come please, Master? I need to come so bad.” Phil begged, voice high and frantic as his release started building in his stomach. He wasn’t sure if he could hold it back, and he didn’t want to disappoint Dan again.
“Come for me puppy, you’ve been so good, you deserve it.” Dan assured, moaning under his breath as Phil came under him, back arching off the floor and whole body convulsing with each wave of pleasure. His cock throbbed, the last spurts of cum weakly dribbling down and staining Dan’s shoe.
Dan gathered up in his arms once he came down from his high, sitting them both up on the bed and stroking his sore, shaking thighs. Phil relaxed into the contact, eyes half-lidded and head nuzzling against Dan’s chest.
“Did so well for me, my good little puppy.” Dan praised, rubbing a warm, big hand up and down Phil’s back. He pulled out the plug and took off Phil’s ears, patting his head and giggling when Phil pulled down his hand to kiss at his fingers. He opened his eyes fully just to look up at Dan, take in the fond, all-adoring expression on his face, and how it was all meant for him, and only him.
“”M sleepy,” He sighed, going even more pliant in Dan’s lap.
“Go to sleep love, Master will keep you safe.” Dan cooed, kissing Phil’s forehead as he dozed off, knowing when he woke up Dan would still be there to give him more love, more affection. His heart fluttered with soft, familiar love, and it felt like warmth and safety and home. He was at home in their mutual love, and really, what more could Phil ask for?

Ever Forward
Ok, So I was thoroughly dissatisfied with how PB decided that the RCD MC just had to go and ‘fight for her friendships’ as if they hadn’t done anything wrong.  I also think that they did SO wrong by Victoria in how they made her respond to the MC possibly being the leak, but that’s a whole separate issue and it’s canon now so... there you go.
So here we have how I think this whole thing should have gone down.  It ended up being a bit more sedate than I initially planned, but I’ve calmed down somewhat since that chapter has been released, so there you go.
Not super happy with the ending, but conclusions have always been a weakness of mine.  Let me know what you guys think.  Constructive criticism only please.
Anyway, it’s a long as story, so buckle in kiddies.
Pairing: Seth x MC, Matt is being an annoying piney bugger.
Word Count: 3608
“Oh. My. God.  It’s you!” For the third time that day, a random person scurried up to her, a nervous smile on their lips.  “Please, I have to get your autograph.  My friend and I are such huge fans of yours.”
‘Really? That’s rich.’ She thought derisively, outwardly smiling and going through the motions of signing the autograph. As much as the events of the last week had tainted her view of Hollywood, she knew she couldn’t let herself be caught acting anything other than sweet.  Her reputation in this town was in a tenuous place at best right now. If she wanted to eat, she needed to smile and be grateful for any positive publicity.
And if she were honest, there was a side of her that was grateful.  For all the last week had been a roller coaster ride, it was good to finally have gone from “Sarah Graves: Most Hated Woman in Hollywood” to “Sarah Graves: Innocent Scapegoat”.  Now the morning talk shows were filled with anchors expressing their horror at how someone could have maligned her so badly and rebuke at the people who had run with the story previously, as if they themselves hadn’t been one of the ravenous hounds snapping at her heels just a few days ago.  Sighing heavily, she let her eyes wander over the park she found herself in today, idly wondering how many of the people here today had gossiped behind their hands about how horrible a person she was only last week.
Then, just as quickly as her thoughts were about to start taking a downward spin, a drink cup appeared before her eyes. “Penny for your thoughts Iowa?” And just like that, Sarah couldn’t help the small smile tugging at her lips as she remembered that here was one of the two people who had never given up on her, had never bought into the bullshit.
“Just marvelling at the… short memories people have out here I guess.” She said, taking the cup and slowly taking a sip of the cold tea.  “I mean I knew this place could be fickle, but I guess I didn’t realize just how fast it could turn on you and then move on.  Has it really only been a week?”
“Welcome to Hollywood, Iowa.  Home of the self-righteous and perpetually unaware.” Sarah couldn’t help but snicker slightly at Seth’s cynicism.  If she had thought she was jaded, she didn’t know the word to describe Seth’s outlook on life, especially after watching her be so thoroughly vilified.  Even now after the story had broken that she hadn’t been the leak, Sarah would occasionally still catch Seth muttering darkly to himself.  The odd words she had been able to catch were none too complimentary towards people like Leland St. James.  “You doing ok with all of this?”
“I mean, I kinda have to be, don’t I?  It’s either that or get the heck out of Hollywood and find a new career.”  Turning once again to look out over the park, Sarah missed the flicker of concern in Seth’s eyes.
“Is… Is that something you’d want to do?” Seth asked, breathing a quiet sigh of relief at the almost immediate shake of her head.
“I came out here to make art Seth.  I mean, as much as all of this,” she gestured generally to their surroundings. “sucked balls, I still want to be able to make movies that move people.  And if I’m going to do that, I need to stay out here.”
A silly grin swept over Seth’s face and Sarah laughed as he pulled her into a hug.  “Good,” he muttered into the crown of bright red hair on her head. “Cause this place wouldn’t be anywhere near as fun without you Iowa.  I mean, who else would be willing to give me a crash course in all the possible ways my sets could be interrupted?”
Giggling, Sarah snuggled further into Seth’s arms. “Oh, I don’t know, I think you’d survive.  But, then again, I am pretty damn awesome, aren’t I?”
“You got that right.”  Finally detangling themselves from each other, Seth grinned down at her.  “And I know I’ve said this already, but I’m going to keep saying it.  Don’t ever let anyone try to convince you otherwise Iowa. You’re fucking awesome, end of story.”
A laugh burst from her lips and Sarah felt her thoughts turning away from the dark corner of her mind they’d been hurtling towards.  Reaching out, she grabbed a hold of Seth’s hand, swiftly interlacing their fingers as they slowly started to make their way through the park.  “What would I do without you Seth?” she murmured.
Smiling, Seth gently tugged her towards him, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and gently kissing her temple.  “I don’t know,” he muttered into her hair, causing the already large smile on her face to widen exponentially, “but let’s never find out huh?”
“Sounds like a plan.” Her smile still stretching from ear to ear, Sarah allowed herself to settle into a gentle pace alongside Seth as they continued to enjoy the LA sunshine.  “Oh, did I tell you I heard from Victoria?”
“And how’d that go?” Seth asked, dryly, his mouth twisting into a wry grimace.
“Surprisingly well.” She replied, reaching up to tap his nose as best she could around her drink cup.  “She found out that we’re working together next month and called to bury the hatchet-“
             “Again.”
“Ok, yes again.  Shush.” Giggling, she gently hip checked Seth for his interruption before carrying on.  “Cut her some slack Seth, she didn’t know me as well as you do, and Victoria’s so used to being surrounded by backstabbers that she just assumed-“
“That still doesn’t give her the right to attack you.” Stopping, Seth turned her so she was facing him, resting his hands on her shoulders.  “You do remember that part, right?  I mean, I agree that looking at it from her perspective, Victoria had every right to be angry, but that still doesn’t justify her assaulting you.”
Sarah grimaced slightly at his wording, knowing he had phrased it that way deliberately.  “You know I do Seth,” she replied softly, gently running her free hand up and down his arm.  “But I also know that I need to move past this.  Victoria apologized for it and she’s told me that she’s seeing a psychiatrist for her anger issues.  The least I can do is let it drop so that we can make this movie together.”
Sighing again, Seth wrapped his arm back around her shoulder and started walking again.  “… still don’t like it.”  Seth’s voice was so low that if she hadn’t been paying attention, Sarah would have missed it.
“I know,” she sighed.  “And you don’t have to.  But do you get why I have to let this go?”
“I do.  You understand why I’m still choked about it though, right?” Seth asked, squeezing her shoulder gently.
“I do.  And I appreciate it Seth, I really do.”  Turning to him, Sarah couldn’t help but grin.  “You can be angry for me, ok?  Every time I’m out in public and have to hide behind that polite veneer, you can curse and swear for me, how does that sound?”
“Sounds like a plan Iowa,” Seth replied, his barking laugh warming her heart.  “But you’re going to explode if you can’t be angry sometimes, you know that, right?”
“Oh, trust me, I’ll be angry.  Just not where any paparazzi can see.”
“That’s my girl.”  Pressing another kiss to her temple, Seth turned and stiffened suddenly, his carefree grin quickly morphing into something dark and angry.
“Seth?”  Frowning at his sudden change in demeanor, Sarah followed his gaze and freezing when she saw it. Baseball cap pulled down over his tan face, sunglasses covering those distinctive brown eyes, hoodie and loose jeans hiding his physique, but Sarah would have to be a fool to not recognize him. “Matt?!” the harsh whisper ripped from her throat, as her brain struggled to comprehend what is was she was seeing.  “Why is he here?”
“Don’t know, don’t care.  You don’t have to see him.”  They had both stopped walking at this point and she felt Seth’s arm tighten its grip on her shoulder.  “You hearing me Iowa?  We can turn around right now, go back home, and it’ll be as if he was never there.”
The harsh timber of Seth’s anger helped pull Sarah from her astonishment.  Shaking her head, she kept staring at Matt who had now stopped walking towards them and was simply waiting.  Waiting for her she suspected as she watched Matt grimace slightly, rubbing his neck as they both observed each other.  “No Seth, I let Teja and Victoria apologize, I should at least hear him out.  I owe him that much.”
“You don’t owe him shit!” Seth whispered harshly, grimacing at his tone.  Turning back to her, Sarah could feel his hand gently stroking down her back, trying to soothe her, a wordless apology.  “I’m serious here Iowa, you don’t owe that guy,” Seth jerked his head towards Matt, slow anger defining the move. “Anything.  He made his choices.  Let him live with the consequences.”
“Ok, let me rephrase.” Sarah said, reaching up to stroke his cheek.  “I need to hear this.  Not for him, but for me.  I listened to Teja and Victoria, now I need to hear it from him.  I need to hear why it was so easy for him to believe that I was a liar rather than believe me.”  Casting a quick glance over at Matt, who was looking more uncomfortable by the minute, Sarah wrapped Seth in a quick hug.
“And if it isn’t enough?” He whispered in her ear, hesitantly letting her drift back from the hug, worry shining in his eyes. He had seen what it took to get her back on her feet after the disaster that had ended Tender Nothings.  Seth had spent a lot of evenings up on that roof listening to Sarah cry into his shoulder as she tried to get her feet back under her.  Even after the leak had been outed, it had been as if a part of her identity had been stripped away and Sarah had to fight to figure out what to do with the space it had left behind.
“It’s going to have to be.”  Sarah murmured.  Gently pulling away, she motioned for Seth to stay put as she made her way over to Matt, trying to exude a confidence she wasn’t sure she had. “Hey Matt.” She said, pulling up as she drew close, her questioning gaze trying to pierce through the lenses of his sunglasses.
“Hey.”  Hands were playing at his shirt cuffs as Matt struggled to find the words he needed to say. “You look good.”  A grimace flashed over his face.  Apparently, that was not what he wanted to say.
“Thank you.  I wish I could say the same but honestly… you look rough Matt.” And now that she was this close to him, Sarah could really see it.  Dark bags under his eyes, slightly hidden by the glasses, the slouch in his shoulders doing more to disguise Matt than his ball cap ever could.
His normally confident smile was gone, in it’s place twisted a sardonic frown.  “Yeah, well, I haven’t really been sleeping well lately.  Not since… what happened.”  Drawing in a shuddering breath, Matt pulled off the glasses to look directly into her eyes and Sarah could swear she read grief there for a moment. “I assume you’ve seen the tabloids.”
“Kinda hard to avoid them when you’re all they’ve been about for the last week.” She replied dryly, relishing just a little bit in the almost wince of pain and guilt that flashed across Matt’s face. She’d have been lying if she said she didn’t take a somewhat perverse satisfaction in his guilt over this whole situation.  “But I assume you mean the story that Dirty Hollywood dropped about them finding the real source of the leak?”  At his nod, she merely shrugged.  “Seth and I snuck out of the apartment that day so I could avoid the paparazzi and I haven’t bothered to read who the actual leak was.  At this point I just don’t care.  I just want to move on.”
“It was Spencer… my manager.” Matt whispered, full on wringing his hands now.  “Well, apparently it was Markus who bugged the sauna.  Jon found out somehow and stole the tape before he leaked it all to Dirty Hollywood.”
A harsh, almost barking laugh burst from her throat.  “Why the hell am I not surprised Marcus would bug our freaking retreat.” Almost growling as that old anger started to bubble up in her chest again.  Why was Matt saying all of this?
“I’ve fired Jonathan.”  Ah, there it was.  “He said he was trying to get me to realize what a dangerous influence you were for my career.  Even when I had him escorted off the property, he was still trying to justify what he’d done.” Looking up, Matt caught her gaze, silently pleading with her to listen. “Sarah, I am so sorry for everything I said to you that day.”
“Why did you say it?”  Her voice was tired she realized.  This whole situation was exhausting even after it had been ‘resolved’ by Hollywood standards.  “Matt, I need to know why you said all of those things.  When did I ever do anything to you that would make you think that I was just out to use you?”  Her tongue darted out to wet her lips as Sarah struggled to rein in her anger. She couldn’t lose it on him here, no matter how much his words had hurt her.  And oddly, his had been the ones that had hurt her the most.  Looking over their relationship, Sarah couldn’t come up with a single instance that would have justified his lack of belief in her. He had been her first big celebrity friend in Hollywood and to see him turn on her so easily…
“I… I don’t know.”  His voice was halting, hesitant now as he struggled to find the right words to say to her.  If she hadn’t been so hurt, maybe she would have found it cute.  Now though… ‘Now it’s just irritating.’
“That’s not good enough Matt.”  Sarah schooled her face into an impassive mask in case any cameras happened to turn their way, but her voice was hard and angry.  “I agonized over every interaction I had with you, every time we hung out and I could not find a single moment other than that one that would have justified you turning on me like that.”  With every word, Matt seemed to shrink in on himself, but Sarah couldn’t bring herself to care at that particular moment.  “I mean, you could have at least given my intelligence a little more credit.  If I was going to spill everyone’s secrets, why wouldn’t I make sure that Dirty Hollywood printed something about me to so that you three wouldn’t realize that I was the leak?  And why on earth would I do it when we were in the middle of filming Matt?  At least give my sense of self-preservation a little credit.  I’ve I was going to stoop that low, do you really think I would do it in the middle of working on my big break?  Or am I just that much of an idiot to you?”
“God, no!  Sarah, no!” He cried, her words finally pulling his eyes back up to meet hers, though he almost wished he hadn’t.  The anger and betrayal blazing in them was enough to curdle his stomach.  “You’re one of the smartest people I know, and clearly one of the most genuine.  I I was just so hurt, and it seemed like you being the leak was the only possible explanation.”
“No Matt, it was just the simplest.”  Her anger was always fast to flare, but never lasted long, and now all that Sarah could feel was weariness as is crept into every bone in her body.  She was exhausted by this whole scenario and she just wanted to move on and forget it ever happened.  She wanted her cheery optimism back.  “I would have thought that after all those talks we had that I would have earned a bit of faith from you Matt.”
“I know, and I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am about how I talked to you.”  Matt’s eyes were pleading with her again, and damn her soft heart, but she felt herself softening towards him.  She wanted to be angry, hell, she wanted to be livid.  If he had come to her apartment, she probably would have thrown things to vent her anger.  But, of course, she could see things from his side.  After the leak had occurred, she was obviously the only suspect.  After all, why else wouldn’t that rag have printed anything about her?  “Can we… can we just take it as if this didn’t happen?  As if we just met?”
“Except it did happen Matt.” She replied with a sigh. “It happened, and it hurt me.  I mean, I get where you and the others were coming from, but it still hurt, and I don’t know if I can just forget about it. Frankly, I’m not sure if I WANT to forget about it.”  Fixing him with a sad look, Sarah felt her mouth press into a firm line.  “I mean, apparently it was a lesson I needed to learn. And it definitely helped show me who was really in my corner.”  Glancing over her shoulder, Sarah couldn’t help the soft smile that tugged at the corner of her lips as she watched Seth sitting on a nearby bench, trying desperately to look as if he wasn’t watching her and Matt like a hawk.
Matt winced again at her words, but Sarah didn’t see as she gazed back at Seth.  “He looks nice.” He murmured, trying to keep the hurt from his voice.  He had no right to feel hurt that she’d found someone after how he’d treated her.  “You can tell he really cares for you.”
“Yeah, he really does.”  Turning back, Sarah shook herself out of her thoughts, focusing back on the conversation at hand.  “Anyway Matt, I don’t think I can forgive the way you treated me.  But I would like to try and move past it.  Let’s just… take it one day at a time, ok?”  Matt’s heart clenched a little at the sadness he thought he saw buried in her eyes as she looked at him.
Nodding, Matt couldn’t help but ask, “Do… Do you think we’ll ever get back to where we were again?  I really miss having you as a friend Sarah.”
“I don’t know Matt.  Time will tell I guess.”  The awkwardness of the conversation seemed to grow with each passing moment of silence until finally, she couldn’t take it anymore.  “Anyway, I should get back…”
“Oh, yeah, right.  Sorry about that.”  Hurriedly, Matt slipped his shades back on.  He paused as he turned to go, glancing back over his shoulder at her once more.  “For what it’s worth Sarah, I really am sorry.”
             “I know.”
Matt looked at her a moment longer, as if hoping she would say more, before finally turning away and heading back to his car. When he was barely ten feet from her, Sarah felt a hand on the small of her back.  “You ok there Iowa?”
Taking a breath, she pondered the question a moment before answering.  “Yeah,” she replied, an easy smile slipping back onto her face as she turned towards him, her shoulders feeling lighter than before.  “Yeah, I think I am Seth.”
“Good.”  Her smile widened as Seth wrapped her up in his arms again.  “But if he hurts you again-“
“-He’s done.  Trust me Seth, that much I have learned about this town.  Fool me once, right?”  sighing happily as a chuckle rumbled through his chest, Sarah curled further into him.  “Hey, can we go home?  I think I need a bit of roof time after that.”
“Whatever you want Iowa.  You wanna grab some beers on the way back?”
“Please.”  She answered, smiling as she felt his lips press against the crown of her head.  As the two of them walked back towards their apartment building in silence, Sarah couldn’t help but mull over her conversation with Matt in the context of everything that had happened in the last week. As she had said, she wasn’t certain if she could forgive his lack of faith in her.  Her optimistic outlook had always been a big part of her and she wasn’t certain she liked the harder, slightly cynical part of her that this whole situation had left in it’s place.  Turning her face to look up at Seth though, she felt her heart warming just a little as she recalled how he and Chazz, and even Gloria had all been there for her when she needed them most.
As if he felt her staring, Seth turned to look at her, smirking slightly before darting in to press a soft kiss to her lips and humming in satisfaction as she responded.  ‘Yeah,’ she thought quietly, ‘I’ll be alright.’
             “Thank you.”
“For what?” Seth asked, pulling back slightly so he could look at her.
“For… for everything.”  Reaching up on her toes, Sarah brushed another gentle kiss to his lips before turning her eyes forward.  “Now let’s go home.”

Note
I was thinking of an AU were Star and Nightwing started dating like Dick and Kory. It is perfect because both live in different cities (Jump and Bludhaven) so it's more easy to cover up the other life. They didn't wanted to fall in love, especially because they live in different places and risk their life everyday, but they can't help it. And after an afternoon of welcome back sex, Richard starts to cook dinner and Kory finds the mask.
Ya know what, I’m still not doing requests (she says, pft i am trash) but fuck yes to this being written as a oneshot. It makes me smile.
Okay, so they don’t know who the other are then? A bit like Miraculous Ladybug where it’s painfully obvious bc they work together and stuff and yet with no masks or anything, then are like ey friend when normalcy kicks in?
Ite, anon, lemme’ know if I do your wonderful thoughts justice.
Edit post-writing this: I did not see the updates messages until now so it is what it is kinda thing. Hope it’s still iteee.
Discovery
It was steady and it was soothing. Warmth radiated against her cheek as she let go of a content sigh.
Her rouge hair was draped across her shoulders like a blanket, her surroundings acting completely as a cosy haven; one that she didn’t particularly want to move from anytime soon.
Kori smiled as she felt his fingertips dancing across the skin of her bare back, drawing random shapes. She inhaled his scent and rested a hand against his chest.
“I’ve missed this.” He rumbled,
Kori gave him a giggle, “Sexual interaction or…?”
He echoed her laugh, “All of it. You. It’s been some weeks since we’ve seen each other.”
A frown tugged at her lips as she eyed the silver ring around her middle finger,
“I apologise for that, Richard… I believe I have been… busy.”
He gave her waist a squeeze beneath the sheets, “That’s okay. I know we’ve both had things going on.” Dick replied, gulping.
The two remained in silence for a few moments. Kori chewed her lip as the fading sunlight shining between the curtains ricocheted off of her ring; the thing that kept a barrier between them in some sense.
She withheld a sigh. Kori hated being unable to tell him more about her life; who she really was and let Dick in on that part of who she was and what she did.
But, it was tricky. Being Starfire of the Titans was a bit of a surprise to tell someone she had only recently started getting serious with.
She gnawed on her bottom lip as she also considered how much cosier she had been getting with one of her teammates. Nightwing and her had always been close, as far as teammates went but recently… there seemed to be moments between them where whatever they shared was seeming like more.
This was niggling at her too. She didn’t want to mess anything up with Dick who was now idly playing with strands of her hair. He was so gentle and so caring and she could see things between them lasting for a long time, if she was being honest with herself.
He tapped his fingers against her back, “It’s getting kinda late in the day… you hungry?”
Kori glanced up at him, smiling brightly, “Famished.”
Dick grinned and leaned in, brushing his lips against hers briefly.
“How does pizza sound?”
She giggled, “You are so lazy.”
Pouting at her, he tilted his head, “I have no energy to cook for you, m’lovely. You took it out of me.”
Kori rolled her eyes and then smiled reassuringly at him, “Pizza sounds wonderful.”
He dropped a kiss on the tip of her nose before detangling himself from her and slipping from the bed. Kori smirked as she watched him slip into a pair of boxers and shuffle into the kitchen.
She closed her eyes, rolling around in the sheets and collecting the heat from where he had just moved away from. Kori inhaled a deep breath as she heard him speaking on the phone, presumably to the pizza parlour.
Swinging her legs over the edge of the bed, she stood and slipped her own underwear back on. She knew human females were supposedly quite modest regarding nudity and whilst Starfire had no problem with it and actually embraced being free from clothing, she had a feeling her “human” counterpart Kori would be expected to do the opposite.
She hummed a quiet tune to herself as she pulled Dick’s “Gotham” jersey over her head, loving the way the material felt against her skin and how it smelled so much of her lover.
Kori happily skipped from the room, really looking around his apartment. It was simplistic but very homey. He had few photos around and there wasn’t much colour but she liked it. There was almost a modern style about it.
As she walked past one of the large windows, she ran her fingertips against the back of the navy sofa, sending tickles through her hand. It was soft and was calling out to her; the lazy feeling within rearing it’s head again.
She grinned and threw herself down on the couch, accidentally knocking a pile of magazines from the coffee table with her feet.
Kori pulled a face, “Oops…” she muttered, immediately sitting up.
Shifting the magazines and collecting them up, she raised an eyebrow at an unusual object that had fallen amongst them.
Setting the magazines on the sofa just beside her, she leaned down and picked it up.
Her eyebrows furrowed as she sat staring at a black domino mask with sharply cut edges. She narrowed her eyes. Why did this seem so familiar?
“Okay, Kori, pizza’s gonna be 20 minutes or so. How would you feel about a shower-”
He trailed off and froze as he re-entered the main room. She quickly turned around, mask still in hand and held it up in the direction of his face.
Kori dropped it as realisation struck and she took a step back, suddenly beginning to feel very self-conscious.
“You…” She murmured, trying to understand why Dick looked so much like Nightwing with the piece of material held up to his face.
“Kori… I… uh…” He stammered,
She shook her head, “Why… why do you have a mask like that?”
“It’s… a… uh… for a halloween?”
“It is May.”
“I like to be super prepared?”
She cocked her head to the side, “Dick?”
He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck, “I can explain… I promise.”
Kori took a few steps towards him, “Please… are you… Nightwing?”
Running a hand through his ebony hair, he offered her a sheepish and nervous smile,
“Um… guilty?”
She blinked before pacing back and forth, “Oh no…” She muttered, more so to herself than him,
Dick defensively held his hands up, “Okay… wait, I know this is a lot to take. Kori, I just-”
She turned to face him again, a sheepish smile of her own painted across her features, “That is not it.”
“Then… what is it?”
Kori bit her lip before scrunching her face up in apprehension, “I… just… please do not do the freaking out…”
His brows furrowed and he slowly nodded.
Keeping eye contact with him, she slowly removed the silver ring from her right hand and barely registered the gasp that he emitted. Her heart was hammering away in her chest and she could barely hear anything else but that.
“Star...fire?” He uttered from where he stood, blinking in disbelief,
She cringed, “Um... surprise?”
“What... how...” Dick spluttered,
Kori shrugged and walked up to him, taking his hands with her own.
“Please... I do not wish for this to change us...”
He took a deep breath, “Of course not, Kori... uh... Star... um...”
She giggled, she couldn’t help it. He smiled a little and rubbed the back of his neck, nervously.
“I guess we have a few things to talk about over dinner, huh?”
Kori smiled up at him, “I believe the expression is ‘just a tad’...”
In a quick movement, he took her chin and gave her a kiss. It was brief and it was nice but ended way too soon for Kori’s liking.
“What-” She began,
Dick smirked, “I’ve been staring at you for weeks wondering what it might be like to kiss Starfire.”
“I believe you now know a lot more than just what kissing me is like.” She purred, glancing up at him through her lashes.
His cheeks tinged pink but he smirked, “I believe you’re correct there, Princess.”
