I really love to think about how weird in the force Ezra is
imagine Lothal's wind following him around, his hair always swaying in the air, or the moon shining brighter on whatever planet he's on
the grass grows taller as he passes through the fields of Lothal, its rustle whispering something he can't quite understand
if he stands in one place for too long the grass will grow around his legs and he'll start sinking into the ground, the planet ever-yearning to get its child back into the soil
Ezra saw the universe through the whale's eye and the universe never left his mind

On my opinion, there's some religious themes that get missed a lot when talking about Pruitt's blind trust to the Angel.
Miracles in Christianity is a very interesting topic. Even true miracle can be only performed by God, demons will also try to mimic those, for example sending illness upon someone and that "heal" them by taking it away. Because of it, there's a very thin ice between what is and isn't a miracle, which only priests could understand. And now imagine: you, deeply ill priest, who's sickness surely comes not from hellish tricks, receive a healing. What it is, if not a true miracle? Not to mention also that something like rising the dead can only be performed by God or how trustworthy of Angel was proved to Pruitt again and again on island when healing others.
Also, I may read too far into it, but the fact that Angels "blessing" is shared by blood may also play into this. Angels can't perform miracles by themselves, only act as messengers of God. So, what's more fitting for messenger that delivering miracle straight up?
In conclusion, from perspective of deeply faithful man there was no signs of danger. I think this background is crucial to understand why John fell so easly for this. It's not just personal desire to clinge for life as long as possible, but also a very well constructed illusion of safety, shaped this way by lence of characters perception of reality.
P.s. Also, if taking in account whole "demonic tricks" theme, it lays interesting undertone on story.

Percy Jackson EP4 spoilers/book spoilers
.
.
.
.
Annabeth has endured broken promises her whole life.
Her dad used to see her as a gift, then treated her like a problem. She believed her mom would help her if she asked, but then Athena allowed monsters to chase her. Luke promised her a family, but will go on to join Kronos.
Then there’s Percy, who she once heard say he never thought they could be friends, but is the one person that keeps his promises to her.
He said they’d leave the monument together when she tried to sacrifice herself - and they’ll. He told her he’d pick her over his father - he did so when he took her place as bait this ep. He’ll do it again a thousand times over - returning from Calypso’s island, refusing immortality, falling into Tartarus, giving it his all to go to college in New Rome with her.
All this because he knows she’s worth his loyalty.
Annabeth, who has been forced to rely only on herself from such an early age, will finally have the safety of someone that keeps their promises and that she knows is worth giving up her pride for.
That’s what she did this whole episode and season. She said asking for help was admitting they were not capable of completing the quest, but was determined to ask her mom for help if it meant saving Percy. She took him to her mom’s temple despite their parents’ rivalry. She refused Alecto’s offer to help the quest she waited for her whole life because it would mean betraying Percy.
She’ll take a knife meant for Percy because she felt he was in danger. She’ll search for him nonstop for months when he’s taken away from her.
Loyalty and pride. Flaws and qualities. Percy and Annabeth.

Honestly, the whole palworld vs pokemon thing has me so down. I never got in to pokemon. I tried a few times over the years and it's just never appealed to me despite having lots of friends who loved it.
But Palworld just... hit different. It sounds stupid to say this but it helped distract me from a bunch of really shitty things going on in my life right now and to hear I might loose this whole world soon is super upsetting. I don't get this attached to many games. The ones I go back to time after time I could probably list on one hand.. and Palworld would be one of those games for me if it survives this.
I'm not trying to whine or anything. Yeah, they did definitely steal some of the designs and shit but that isn't what they're being sued for.
And the super stupid thing is that if Nintendo hadn't done this and had gone on to design a similar game to Palworld (with survival, crafting, base building etc) I probably would have played it. I might have finally gotten in to Pokemon.
Not now though. If they really do release their own game in a similar genre to this then I don't think I'll play it. Not because of any weird noble-sounding reason but because it will genuinely just make me think of what they did to one of my favourite games and that... would just ruin the whole thing for me.
Honestly, probably ruin any future Pokemon media I would have tried to get in to.
Can't guarantee there's many people with the same opinions or feelings out there but if there are:
Congratulations Nintendo. You just alienated possible future-fans over this 🫡

It will always be funny that Knuckles can glide
Like yeah, Tails is a fox and Cream is a rabbit, but they have "explanation" to why they are flying (Helicopter tails, wing ears)
Rouge straight up has wings
But Knuckles just??? Glides??? Because fuck you that's why

“Hair holds memories”
He remembers who he was. His friends, the ones he called his family. The land that adopted him when he was a cursed outsider. But every time he looked at himself in the mirror, he didn’t see that teen that loved adventuring, he didn’t see that kid with terrible luck, he didn’t see the baby that was abandoned so he could have a better chance at life. No, he only saw what everyone called him. He saw a god. Not a teen, a kid, or a baby.
Bennett had been gone for so long he didn’t remember. He had lost everything. His friends, his family. His homeland. Now, he was slave to the people of fire and war. He had to give them a better live. His mother counted on him.
He was still blonde, but his tips faded to red. He had green eyes, but every time he used his power, they turned red. He had a Pyro Vision, but it was fake. He had two Mondstadt Visions, but they were blank. He was alone.
He was no longer a child. He had died many times, and he had been reborn from the ashes the same amount. Others would compare him to a fenix, but those were powerful and perfect creatures. He was born from fire, war and death. He was far from perfect. He wasn’t a fenix, he was a Quetzalcoatl, a dragon of feathers and power. He was the last one too, which didn’t help. He was useless.
His name was Eligos, God of Death, Pyro Archon and Emperor of Natlan. But all those titles meant nothing if he was alone. What a shame.
“Just because I’m the God of Death doesn’t mean I do the killing. I just make sure the dead stay like that, dead”
They had told him hair holds memories. He never cut it. Maybe his mind was losing those moments, but at least some part of him would still have them. Death waits for no one, and its god is far too tired to care anymore. He used to be a happy boy. Now he’s just the shell of who he thinks he was.
Eligos had killed Bennett and he will never know if it was worth it.

Being on my period while the new DA trailer drops has turned me into a steaming pile of garbage.
I want to be hype.
But I'm tired, and what I saw didn't fill me with excitement. It felt like the dread of "I'm missing something..."
I'll need to sit on things for a bit. I'm not sure exactly what it is that's making me feel this dread, maybe it's because there's a lot of material that's been published that I still haven't read/watched in the gap of a decade since inquisition and now.
I should be happy to see a familiar face in Harding, but I wasn't. I was sad to think she wasn't off with Sera still, like at the end of my DAI ending cards. Every time I see Varric i just get bitter - they've run him into the ground, and I'm still salty about how dirty they did Hawke, my legit favorite protag.
I got baggage... Ugh.

Okay but why does no one talk about how magic changes in Kingdom hearts? Teenagers and adults were fighting each other with freaking badges and probably had to use their carousel and added their meals in there like a magical girl and double-tapping it with sparkles coming out of it to work. Also in the missing link, you can see the Player summoning freaking statues to take down heartless and stuff but at the end of the trailer were able to see the Player using magic which makes me think “Oh, magic is updating now that’s good!” But then you see the Scala children using cards to fight heartless each other so makes me think that statue summoning has now become a dangerous thing and is now a banned thing in Scala ad caelum. How would it be probably banned you ask?
Here is a scenario: You tried to take a couple of heartless around buildings plus some people too. You managed to summon a statue that you are hoping it knocks down the heartless but instead, it breaks down your force field and breaks down a building… You not wanting to get caught you blame it on the heartless. As some years go by the same thing keeps happening to you and other Players starting to come to a point WHERE PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY BEING INJURED!! They have to change it up a bit but how? BY USING CARDS!!
By using cards it’s not that big of a problem and pretty easy for the new generation of Scala kids (Aka, Xehanort & Eraqus…) And they stay with it! Probably using Carrying around the cards in something like a duel disk like in Yugioh or just throwing magic cards at people or heartless. (Ps. If you're throwing magic or sword attack at people you're probably insane…But more Exp!!)
Until the point, they're like “We need something new!” So learn modern magic which the new-new generation (Wayfinders/Destiny trio and more uses) I’ve been writing this for an hour and thinking about but why has no one talked about this??!
