I love them so much y’all don’t even understand every couple of years decades really there’s a couple or on screen ship that’s so insanely good with palpable chemistry and sexual tension that my brain chemistry gets altered in way that’s not for the sane people the serotonin and buzz be so strong no dr*yg could ever make me feel that way! that even tho logically I’m my mind I know it’s just acting and they are doing their job incredibly annoyingly well I still believe it with all my heart that they are in fact dating and are happy and aren’t just saying anything because they don’t wanna let people in on their life which is fair I know it’s wrong and silly and just very dvmb bc it’s just acting very very phenomenal brilliant acting but damn and 80% of the time they were or ended up as couple later on sure few weren’t and didn’t but it all started with JD/WR BP/AJ Sandra x Keanu, Jake x Anne Kiera x James(James with anyone really Christina Anne) Anne Kiera with anyone too, Margot x Will, Ian x Nina, Sophia x Austin, Ryan x Sarah (this one hurts still bc wdym they dated longer then they was alive on the show?) sometimes the actors be doing not even a bit to much but wayyy over the board to much actually, Nicole x Micheal then came stonefiled then came Haesoo jisoo x haein and now we are here in this dilemma that should get into a psych ward next to the riddler joker and penguin with lukenewton and nicolacoughlan they are the worst too

I fight with my mind constantly telling myself it’s just acting then I be like really is it? Is it really just acting that kinda of unhinged chemistry brilliance cant just be acting it’s to much to be acting only😂! be careful the brain plays tricks on you and so the actors bc to them it’s just a job while to others(me) it’s a straight jacket signs and mental illness signs! This year's been pretty much a recovery era for my art as I re-transitioned from phone to laptop, but that didn't make my schedule any less hectic and as open to making art as I would like. This is why so many of what's in this summary is art I haven't released, but trust me when I say I did draw for each month and these were the *best I could find for each, haha.

"Abby Allen has no problem with her neighbours peering over her luxuriant hedges to see what she is up to on her farm.

For years she has been carrying out ad hoc experiments with wildlife and farming techniques; in her lush Devon fields native cattle graze alongside 400-year-old hedgerows, with birds and butterflies enjoying the species-rich pasture.

Under the environmental land management scheme (ELMS), introduced by the government in 2021, those experiments were finally being funded. “We have a neighbour who has always been more of an intensive farmer,” she says, but he is now considering leaving fields unploughed to help the soil. “It genuinely is having such a huge impact in changing people’s mindsets who traditionally would never have thought about farming in this way.���

The new nature payments scheme followed the UK’s exit from the EU, when the government decided to scrap the common agricultural payments scheme, which gave a flat subsidy dependent on the number of acres a farmer managed. In its place came ELMS, which pays farmers for things such as planting hedges, sowing wildflowers for birds to feed on and leaving corners of their land wild for nature.

But these schemes are now at threat of defunding, as the Labour government has refused to commit to the £2.4bn a year spending pot put in place by the previous Conservative government. With spending tight and the chancellor, Rachel Reeves, cutting back on infrastructure and hinting at tax rises, a cut to the ELMS scheme may be on her list.

However, government data released last week found the schemes were working to tentatively bring nature back to England’s farmland. Butterflies, bees and bats are among the wildlife being boosted by ELMS, with birds among the chief beneficiaries, particularly ones that largely feed on invertebrates. An average of 25% more breeding birds were found in areas utilising the eco-friendly schemes.

...there are also farmers who welcome the schemes. Allen says the ELMS has helped her farm provide data and funds to expand and improve the good things they were doing for nature. “Some of the money available around things like soil testing and monitoring – instead of us going ‘we think these are the right things to do and providing these benefits,’ we can now measure it. The exciting thing now is there is money available to measure and monitor and kind of prove that you’re doing the right things. And so then you can find appropriate funding to do more of that.”

Allen, who is in the Nature Friendly Farming Network, manages a network of farms in England, most of which are using the ELMS. This includes chicken farms where the poultry spend their life outside rather than in sheds and other regenerative livestock businesses...

Mark Spencer was an environment minister until 2024 when he lost his seat, but now spends more time in the fields admiring the fruits of his and his family’s labour. He says that a few years of nature-friendly agriculture has restored lapwings and owls.

“On the farm, I haven’t seen lapwings in any number for what feels like a whole generation. You know, as a kid, when I was in my early teens, you’d see lapwings. We used to call them peewits. We’d see them all the time, and they sort of disappeared.

“But then, me and my neighbours changed the way we did cropping, left space in the fields for them to nest, and suddenly they returned. You need to have a piece of land where you’re not having mechanical machinery go over it on a regular basis, because otherwise you destroy the nest. We’ve also got baby owls in our owl box now for the first time in 15 years. They look mega, to be honest, these little owls, little balls of fluff. It is rewarding.”"

Toronto’s Township’s richest industrial area, the Sheridan Park Research Community — situated on North Sheridan between the Fifth Line and the western limits of the township and Peel County — is taking shape in a rapid style.

Later this summer, Atomic Energy of Canada Limited will start construction of a development laboratory to house their Power Projects group about 400 engineers and technicians. Their project will also designing offices for their valuable work.

The Birth Of A Paper 

Welcome to Toronto Township’s newest and brightest weekly newspaper. We take this opportunity to introduce you to the Mississauga news, a regular weekly newspaper designed to serve the people of Toronto Township. Port Credit and Streetsville. Consecrating mainly on the western half of the township and the town of Port Credit at first, the news will strive to expand its circulation boundaries to efficiently bring ALL [BLANK] news of interest to all [BLANK] South Peel. 

Unicorn Wanted 

With the long awaited release of the Goldenberg Report, Toronato Township ‘big city dream’ of the future now looms as a more distinct possibility all the time. 

Township Reeve Robert Speck has already asked that a study be made of this area with the view of forming some type of metro-type plan here. At the present time, the township has its application for town status pending before the Ontario Municipal(?) Board. This application was considered to be the first important step towards ultimately forming a city here with the towns of Port Credit and Streetsville joining up with its township, at some time in the future.

In past discussions between representatives Toronto Township, Port Credit and Streetsville it was a generally agreed amalgamation of these three municipalities would come about in the near future — possibly 4 to 5 years from now. 

Any instant ‘amalgamation’, however, was frowned upon by most members of Post Credit and Streetsville councils as they felt such a move would be too much costly for their people right now. 

It is not known right at this time what will happen to the township’s application for town status since the suggestion for a complete study of metro-type possibilities here could tangle up this move. 

Whatever the future holds for this rapidly growing area, it is crystal clear that Toronto Township — and Port Credit and Streetsville too for that manner — are growing in leaps and bounds. Post Credit is growing up, changing the heart of its-

-area into a high rise sector: Streetsville has plans for expansion in all directions and Toronto Township itself is a bee-hive of industrial and residential growth.

The Sheridan Park Research Centre — known as Canada’s space age city — is rapidly taking shape and the long range forecast is that it will eventually be a $100,000,000 scientific complex with new developments all around it. 

And, to make the whole picture even that much more exciting, you and I are right in the middle of this overall plan.

Township Puts Skids On Skateboards

Toronto Township passed a resolution Monday that a bylaw be prepared to prohibit the use of skateboards on public sidewalks and roadways in the township. 

A number of members of council have expressed some concern over the hazards which go hand in hand with the use of ‘ski’s on skates’.

So I just finished "Valhalla" by Ari Bach, a book that's been on my to-be-read pile for a long time, at your recommendation in an older video you posted! And wow, yes, please give me a Tikari!!! My spouse and I have already come up with bugs, weapons, and possibly names for our hypothetical little guys, hah! My favourite quotes from the book, in chronological order, were:

"The North Pole isn't too far by pogo, but all they have is a McDonald's."

"Don't sweat it, Vi. What you drop, your team picks up."

Vibs was online, reading. Varg had fallen asleep within minutes of lift-off, and Veikko amused himself by stacking survival gear on Varg's head.

Two men had just died because she'd gone the wrong way, because she couldn't trust her Tikari to do its job. She sensed that the Tikari was pissed at her for it. She shut it up by stowing it in her chest, still bloody from the fight. It was a sickening, dirty feeling to have his blood under her skin.

"That urge for activity is a remnant of panic, nothing more."

I'm (personally) a little squeemish about body/medical stuff (I genuinely had to skip pages during the Wulfgar/Violet scene which was a good scene, but wow that made my stomach turn. I was really adverse to the whole Tikari thing in general until we got to see Violet's point of view on watching hers wake up, and from that moment, I was convinced I wanted one.

I thought the Mishka twist was interesting and surprising, but believable. I liked that Mishka's and Vibeke's relationship was, from 'our' point of view, loose and undefined, but then you got to see from Mishka's point of view how serious she was about Vibeke. And I liked that the references to sex were more...vague. Clinical? Especially in certain parts (thinking about one of the times Violet went to see Wulfgar in the cage).

Also, reflecting on the Mishka twist, I actually really liked that it was Mishka who escaped to (presumably) come back in the next book rather than who brother who we just met and know nothing about. Two possible return villians, who we already kinda-sorta know and kinda-sorta have a connection to? Yes!!

All in all, I really liked this book! I thought the single chapter devoted to Violet's military career was really good, and I do feel bad that she was kicked out like that! I (personally) thought her reasoning for fighting back against her...squadmates (correct word??) was perfectly sound! And I especially liked that we got to see Heather/Weather again, because I liked her for the breif chapter when she appeared!

I don't know if I'll read the other two books, because I'm kind of okay with how this ended, and the synopsis for the next was rather...different. Have you read the other two? Were they very different?

The only other question I would be, how the heck do/did you pronounce Vibeke's name!? Hah, my first thought was "vee-bee-kee," and my spouse suggested "vih-BECK," which I what I ended up going with in my head.

aww what a cute question 🥰 honestly i do associate it with autumn because it often comes out in september/october (so i think of it as part of the fall tv schedule)! but, really, i associate different series with different seasons? like i think of s7 as being winter time because kerry made that big circle in the snow hahaha that kind of thing! it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of people think of taskmaster + summer tho?
