thought about this thing for a while

it was extremely interesting to just analyze myself and get like a tier list in my head

annoying conversations happening on twitter this week about dazai and his canonical whoreness .... very ableist delivery of people treating him like a tiny 22 yr old minor who clearly doesn't know what sex is and its getting weeeeeiirrrrd ...........

e-42 prowlerbyte angst (kinda) cuz i thought it'd be funny but in like a sad way

margo actually hating the prowler and thinking anyone with masks and weapons are terrible ppl just bc of how bad things are on earth-42

every time miles and his uncle show up on tv news channels she talks shit abt them not knowing she's talkin about her bf and his uncle

miles is oddly defensive every time, just sayin stuff like "margo you literally have never seen these two hurt civilians or anyone else but cops for that matter"

margo argues back "they obviously steal stuff and use bombs that could hurt someone tho. and nobody who's up to any good is swingin around wearing stuff like THAT"

miles rolls his eyes and pouts a lil bit about it but is genuinely distressed that his own gf can't see the good that the prowler does on a near daily basis so that pushes him to actually help more civvies whenever possible.

it kinda annoys aaron but he understands. eventually aaron lets him go off and do his own thing occasionally, stopping bank robbers from shooting unarmed bystanders and whatnot

the word spreads relatively quickly and soon prowler gains a "vigilante" label on the streets. a couple of his saves end up on the news, too

cue miles smirking at margo one day as they're sat in miles' living room with the tv on.

"...so. looks like prowler's moving different lately, just like i said he would. not lookin too bad there, is he?"

margo scoffs and shakes her head. "i mean... it's cool that he's saving ppl now i guess. doesnt mean hes a good guy exactly but we'll take what we can get!"

this definitely doesnt help miles' paranoia at all tho. he's even more adamant with his uncle that margo cannot know abt their prowler business now more than ever.

🦉Is there another author that helped inspire you to write?

ahh this has a really predictable answer. i think if you asked anyone who wrote les mis modern AUs in 2015 who inspired them, you'd be hard pressed to find someone who wouldn't say idiopathicsmile, and it's true for me as well! world ain't ready was a once-in-a-lifetime type fic. truly the work that launched a thousand headcanons

AND ANOTHER REASON to read the light novel versions is that they have a whole extra chapter (nighttime drive in richard's fancy expensive car) where they play around with the literary allusive flirting of 'the moon is beautiful tonight' yadda yadda

and honestly i get you im also Terrible into getting started on some stuff and following thru (didnt even read ALL of bandori or ALL of prsk yet and slowly working to it) but i think that if u pick only one band that interests you it would be easier to stick to it and then u can go check the others :')

rly wish male athletes would stop treating their wives and children as props for the sole benefit of their own well-being and sports career. like idk how to phrase this well but in that six nations show the sheer number of guys crediting their wives and kids for making them behave better/ have a more holistic view on life, “my children love me no matter how bad I play” like. smth abt banking on the unconditional love of children while you’re being an absent father bc of your job is crazy 😭😭😭
