oops I forgot to mention that uhh the new wand is done!! it’s been finished for a while tbh, I just procrastinated on gluing it all back together and taking a semi-decent pic. there’s only a couple key changes I made - re-doing it so it has the zig-zag bend ofc and coating the copper base part so it doesn’t tarnish and stays shiny :)

anyway THIS is as close to canon as I can make it!! I’m glad it’s done and I’m very proud of it but also I am never doing this again lol

First you need the Nendo’s!

At least from what I checked from it seems the Nendo’s for Gonki are being re released, so you don’t have to pay a 80+ dollar fee for them!

The bodies are the main component, you can buy the base Nendo’s if you want or go searching for just the heads, but in order to make them! All’s you need is one of these!

These sellers usually also sell clothes for them! As well and you can usually get free shipping pre fast if you get a lot!

But if you’re in a tight budget spot I would just peruse Mecari, like I got my third Ki and first Gon with the bodies and some clothes for only 80!

I don’t think I’ve seen any Gonki’s since, but it might sometimes be cheaper even to just! Look for other chars or just the body sep! Dep on your budget!

If you are an artist you can custom draw your own faces if you want extra expressions! I wanted more face plates for Ki, and cannot draw so I just bought parts from other chars, or in some cases these Etsy sellers also sell faces! The blank ones to draw on! And the ones that have faces!

I never comment directly on posts but this made me mad enough to.

Resellers are not the problem it's the companys; prices going up have nothing to do with people trying to make ends meet by going to thrift stores to re sell clothing. It's just business being greedy.

Valuevillage (for example) is a forprofit company and they raised there prices bc they wanted more; during the beginning of covid they realized that they made more money without change rooms and have not put them back as restrictions where pulled back. Because it made them more money at our expense.

Vintage stores and people with business licenses will go to rag houses and buy bulk second hand clothing to re-sell and i dont see anyone complaining about them. Only the poorest people trying to do that go themselves into stores to find things.

And less than a quarter of what's donated to thrift stores is even put out on the floor.

In just Canada, they estimate the 500 million kg of clothing are thrown out a year. Only 20% of what is collected is sold.

If u want to see more talked about this by someone in the garment industry look at madeline_pendleton tictocs on it shes been in the fashion industry for 15 (I think) years and is what made me aware of this.

There's more than enough to go around but company's make necessary goods like food and water a way for them to make money is the problem; not people in your class trying to make some money.
