How much do ur comms usually cost?

Uhhh it really depends. Though for this one, I'm just planning ~$25-$30 USD for a full body and $5 for weapons (examples below). It used to be higher but I do have a job now, so I'd like to make it a bit more cheaper.

I guess I could also do half bodies for $15, but I'm never usually happy with how they look in commissions

I got a cool briefcase recently but I've been humming and hawing on what to put inside it for a while. Most logically, I could put my thermal printer inside, since I think it might be easier than the mini shelf I have it on right now. Second most logical is probably wires, and then everything else like stationery or something.

Semi-related, cases are like, one of my favorite things for some reason. Like, there are only 2 medias I know that have used briefcases/cases as a somewhat major motif and they're both so good. The Great Ace Attorney is already a given, but I also really like Dorohedoro's case too (although, I don't know if it's called a case, but it does look like one).

Yapping about Kagurabachi. Obviously most of what I'm speaking is from my experience, so forgive me if I don't have a lot of experience in other manga's or anime's. No spoilers (I do mention a character that appears in chapter 30-40 but not much else)

Ok so I've probably read more manga than the average person, but not enough manga as a manga fan if that makes sense. A huge chunk of them being from Shonen Jump, notably JJK, CSM, Dandadan and Demon Slayer (and MHA a long time ago, which I dropped). Along with that, have also been anime. All of this to say, is that most often than not, the protag would usually be a minor.

KB is one of the handful of manga's where not only is the protag actually an adult (he's still 18), but actually doesn't feel like he's starting from 0 unlike everyone else. Not only that, he's genuinely my favorite character compared to other side characters, which is kind of uncommon for me. I'm pretty sure the only other time where I liked the protag nearly as much is probably Dorohedoro, then CSM, and Dungeon Meshi either before or after CSM.

It's genuinely refreshing to read a manga where the protag isn't a bumbling clumsy idiot that's also likeable after reading those previous 4 that I mentioned earlier. And I know that there's other manga out there, but this is specifically coming from someone who usually only reads/watches anime and manga that are extremely popular.

Other notes that I have about KB is that the panelling is incredibly strong (albeit, maybe a little fast paced and hard to read sometimes). Oomf mentioned that the mangaka takes a lot of inspiration from western films and I can definitely see it. Might be on par with CSM for me.

Oh also, the other characters being mostly adults is awesome too. While the manga's I mentioned do have mixed ages, for some reason, I just find it more notable with KB. I suppose it's because there's more 30-50 year olds compared to the others. Either that, or it's just because the others kinda focus on the kids more, story-wise.

Uhh last thing I would like to talk about is HakuHiro (Chihiro aka the protag and Hakuri) because I love my yaoi ships in manga's. HakuHiro is genuinely yaoi made in a lab. Look at these two and tell me the mangaka did not design Hakuri without Chihiro in mind.

Chihiro being black and Hakuri being white. Chihiro having red eyes and Hakuri having blue eyes. This one could be a coincidence but Chihiro's face scar being on the left, along with being left handed and Hakuri's ability being on the left. Trying to stay spoiler free, but if they were referencing the POTO movie, they would've put the cosmetic on the right, unless they're referencing something else. BUT MY POINT STILL STANDS. Like, I have never seen 2 guys made for each other more than these two, okay? (joking)

Anyways, I genuinely enjoyed KB, it's a really good read. Definitely a good break after the past few CSM chapters (which aren't bad but I did definitely feel like it's been a slog getting through them).

Odd Taxi is probably the only anime I've watched from the "new anime" tab or something. Like, I've heard 0 news about this prior, and I just picked it up because I don't think there's that many furry animes.

Watching it while it came out weekly is such a unique experience, because all of the discussions I saw surrounding it was making up theories every week (because it's surprisingly a drama/mystery). I think the manga came out the same year it released? I'll have to pick it up at some point. I really enjoyed it when it came out and I'd love to rewatch it at some point

Thank you anon! If you are referring to this piece... I don't really have any lore behind it. It was just a practice piece for me getting back into drawing Splatoon... Although, if you're asking for lore about the girls, I still don't really have enough but I will splurge my thoughts and design process (more-so design process).

From left to right, it's NOT ("Agent 3"), oonie ("Agent 8") and Mitzi ("Agent 4"). Capitalization is on purpose.

I don't really have anything for NOT, she was my first one of the 3 posers. I just made her since this is my favorite outfit in the game, but I figured it'd look better on her than my in-game character:

As for oonie, she was the last of the 3 for design. She was actually the toughest to design because NOT and Mitzi have clothes that look like anyone in the Splatoon world could have, while Agent 8's outfit in OE is a little more unique. It's not shown here, but I ended up keeping Agent 8's boots on her (like how NOT has 3's jacket and Mitzi is just. Grizzco). Her first design is a little different, with her having Kensa goggles and a different hairstyle. Although, I ended up deciding that she's probably a fashion model, so it's on brand I suppose.

I did want to keep a sort of hidden face trait with her. Since there was kind of a pattern with how they show their faces (NOT is fully showing her face, Mitzi kinda has it half hidden, so oonie hiding most of her face made sense. Kinda like a crescent, half circle, and then full circle).

Lastly, Mitzi was the easiest LOL. Her design was completely by chance. I was making stickers while I was still running my store and I wanted something unique, so I drew this up and made a sticker set with her.

I imagine her to not actually be a Grizzco worker, and actually stole this uniform from someone. Also, I think she would live near or with the Salmonids. Maybe they even raised her, who knows. She is a glutton though and loves food. She's also the cover for the Grizzco Zine if anyone has that (although I made it subtle on purpose, since it's not my Zine of course).

If I had to make up something for NOT, I can imagine her being a model too. Or athlete. Actually I don't think she'd be an athlete, she's 100% a poser for sports. Not a damn clue going on in there!!!

Also, If it isn't obvious, I love making matching & juxtaposing themes with my OCs. NOT's colors are primaries, Mitzi's is kind of dealing with secondaries, and oonie is only shades. I'm also going to be making a playlist for each of the 3 on my MDs that will be coming sometime soon, so stay tuned for that.

These 3 are more-so my art/design puppets or muses so sorry I don't have much going on with them lore wise. Oh and because I wanted to avoid drawing the actual agents. Or I guess make my """own""". Thanks for your question!
