Four dogs, three border collies and an icelandic sheepdog ranging from 1 to 3 years old.

~7AM, I get up, use facilities, and let dogs out in the back yard while I make coffee.

7:30-10AM, Zeke is in his kennel while I drink my coffee (he will drink it otherwise) Moxie, Ever, and Saga are loose in the house to do as they please as I work. (As I type this, Ever and Saga are playing with a plush squeaky toy) Saga usually asks to go outside and bird watch a few times in the mornings. Usually there is a potty break in this time frame also

11AM-4PM All dogs loose in the house, doing what they want. Usually sleeping. Typically during potty breaks for this time frame, I'll kick a ball for them to chase outside for 3-5 minutes if it isn't too hot outside.

Evenings: Much of the same, usually I have some sort of training class which means that the attending dog(s) goes with me and the rest stay home loose in the house (Zeke is still kenneled when I'm not home.) Daily meal is fed at 8PMish

Less frequently: When the weather isn't too hot out, I like to do evening walks with two dogs around the neighborhood. About every other week or so I try to give a whole prey raw rabbit to them which they take turns eating in the back yard and is the only feeding based enrichment I do other than training for adult dogs. Several times a month I take them to my parents' property so they can run around in the woods of leash.

I have a question for all of dogblr.

What does an average week, day by day, look like for you and your dogs?

I feel like the internet is really scewing what daily life looks like for most people and I really would love to know what it actually looks like.

I never feel like I'm doing enough.

sometimes a mutual you’ve followed for years wakes up one day and decides that they are a WWE RPF shipper now and that’s the new theme of the blog for god knows how long and it’s not like you can unfollow them so I guess we’re just here now

We have this interesting situation where we basically no longer have privacy nor the expectation of privacy, but we also don't have community or meaningful connection with others, so we're all simultaneously both completely exposed and absolutely alone, and please understand that when I say this situation is "interesting", what I in fact mean is that it's "nightmarish and I wish I could wake up"

People really underestimate the power of just telling someone you like them. romantically obviously but hell even just platonically too. You can admit you enjoy peoples presence it doesn’t have to be mind games it’s okay to just be sincere and true with your thoughts and intentions btw
