Always on time — Intense distress and panic when late.

Strong work ethic — Intense fear of doing anything wrong & getting criticized, fired, or punished.

Always in control — Fearing that something will go terribly wrong if l am not in control.

Good at planning — I always need to be prepared for all of the worst-case scenarios to the point that it often overwhelms me.

Very organized — Being organized helps me manage the intense feeling of being constantly overwhelmed.

Super helpful — I'm afraid of what other people will think if I disappoint them and say no.

Zen & relaxed — Implementing coping skills feels like a full-time job. I'm always "coping".

Self-assured — Worrying that if I don't come off as capable | will let others down.

Related to the last ask, do you have any headcanons about bill being adhd adjacent? I loved the way you described his symptoms, especially “boredom is intolerably painful and chronic boredom feels like depression.” The last part especially, since i always used to confuse boredom and depression as feeling like the same thing when i was little.

I headcanon Mabel with ADHD-ADHD. I know, I know, cliche, but she's relatable alright. I play around with the idea that she doesn't like being on meds when she isn't being forced to take them for school, so she just illegally slips them to Bill and everybody's happy as long as nobody EVER tells her parents 👍✨ but that's just a joke headcanon, realistically I don't think Mabel's diagnosed yet.
