I've got some words to share with you all today. Unfortunately, nothing from more than a footnote, though I'm finally feeling some energy again to write that last chapter. I've been waiting to get creatively energized because my boys deserve that. I had really wanted to publish before I have surgery in less than a month, but that is looking less and less likely. I do have a goal to at least get a draft to my betas by then. So, we'll see.

Recently, I've been spending most of my creative time with original fiction, and I wanna give a little wave to @whatevertheweather for their support and enthusiasm. Our basecamp nights are frequently the highlight of my week, and I truly don't think I'd attempt this mountain, if not for you. Here's to being absolutely feral over our guys.

Okay, words! Today I thought I'd provide actual written evidence of my gift fic for my beloved @cutestkilla. We're gonna forget what exchange this fic was supposed to be for and embrace the open-ended nature of this delivery date. Will it be spring? Will it be summer? Y'all, I have no idea. But the wait will (hopefully) be worth it. The lightest of spice under the cut.

"Take off your clothes," Baz says. Sid pushes from the wall, those hungry, blue eyes not once leaving Baz's face. He removes his shirt in one fluid motion, then hooks his fingers in the loops of his trousers and leans back against the wall, lightly thumbing the metal button. "Did you not hear me?" Baz asks. "Oh, I did." Sid sends that tiny, infuriating grin again. "I'm just enjoying myself. You can't rush art, kitten." "Are you ... comparing yourself to art?" Sid's grin goes chesire wide. He moves from the wall and walks deeper into the hotel room, toward the king-size bed. "Why don't you tell me? You're the expert."

Art thief Baz is hella fun to write. And Sid (Simon?) is an absolute punk.🤘 It's coming along, Dre, I swear.
