This is probably Too Niche, but to the vivid dreamers out there: do you ever get nostalgic for a place from your dreams that isn't real? I have recurring locations in my dreams that just. don't exist. And I find myself thinking about them or having "memories" about them even though they don't exist and never have. But they're real in my heart even though I'll never go there.
(tell me about these places in the tags, I'm so curious)

Peter Skene Ogden State Scenic Viewpoint, OR (No. 9)
One of the best ways to view the beautiful 500 foot deep Crooked River Gorge is from the viewpoint at Peter Skene Ogden State Park, located just 26 miles north of Bend.
Overview
Located several miles north of Bend, the Peter Skene Ogden State Park boasts spectacular views of the Crooked River Canyon below. Sheer basalt cliffs tower above the sparkling waters of Central Oregon’s winding Crooked River. Two of Oregon's tallest and most beautiful mountains - Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson - are visible from the viewpoint.  It's a great place to stop for a picnic or to take dazzling photos.
Location & Information
Peter Skene Ogden State Park is located 26 miles north of Bend on Highway 97. It is open year round.
Activities
Photography – The spectacular vistas offered at this park attract many photographers. In addition to incredible views of the Crooked River Canyon, several Central Oregon mountain peaks are also visible.
Picnicking – The park has several picnic tables.  Visitors can enjoy a picnic while enjoying the incredible scenery.
Hiking - Challenging trails take hikers to the tops of cliffs from the river below.
Fun Facts
The park was named in honor of Peter Skene Ogden. He led one of the trapping parties of the Hudson Bay Company back in 1825.
There is a memorial at the viewpoint that honors Rex T. Barber, a prominent pilot during World War II.
The historic Crooked River High Bridge stretches across the canyon just north of the park. It was built in 1926 and is open to pedestrians.

been "collecting" photos of good grates/plaques/etc around the city to do rubbings of, some of them "straight" and some of them maybe collaged or interspersed to create ransom-note style texts . . . presented alongside photographs . .. ! Oh i just have so many ideas for all these little projects but I think I need to wait it out until they all become entangled in each other because they all have to do with water and public space and interface between built environment and "natural" environment . . .. so I think they can all come together into a more ambitious interdisciplinary research-based project/show/thinggg

OC Kiss Week: Julie & H2-22
Tumblr media
Her first synth rescue.
Julie took H2’s mind-wipe pretty badly. She still listens to his goodbye holotape far more than she’d like to admit - especially post-Blind Betrayal, because she wonders if Danse felt the same way he did. Scared and alone.
H2 is one of my favourite characters despite only appearing briefly, so I knew I had to include him in my art! A little comfort for my (second) fave synth.
