in a stunning display of interdepartmental cooderination: our DRESS REHEARSAL for the concert this weekend has been cut short because they double booked the rehearsal hall.

#the fucking. theater director showed up in the middle of the brahms first mvt #and i don't play much in that piece luckily cause his frantic whispering with the conducting student at the back of the room was #Quite distracting #apparently some show or whatever was supposed to rehearse in there tonight too. for THEIR dress rehearsal.#why not the recital hall? who knows!#why not the dance studio? who knows!#but he pulled maestro out of the room into the hallway between mvts (it was supposed to be a full no breaks run thru...) to Talk #maan he looked pissed.#(the musical director. maestro looked disgruntled but resigned)#and then we finished the brahms and. packed up.#didn't even touch the beethoven #so...i'm expecting a very Full sound check on sunday. this should be interesting #sasha speaks #well. i guess i can make some tea and watch something tonight

Gonna be Petty Nurse-Artist for just a second because a piece of art showed up in my For You and it was cute and nicely done but also: WHAT ARE THOSE.meme

No P-wave! incredibly wide QRS that goes straight into the T, which is hugely tall. Could call it an ideoventricular rhythm if you were feeling quite generous but I don't think that's intentional. 3/10

I am once again eyeballing the post where I list out medical things and what they do and terms to google to find reference of them.

It's not his fault!#I am quite happy with both of their expressions there tho especially their mouth shapes - and how the colours interact with their eyes #Lineless colours are some of my favourites :) You can tell it's my pencils and not my pen there 'cause it's feathery hehe #For example Edgar's scars are usually with my pen and they have an almost hard-line quality while my pencils are soft :) S'pretty #Switched colours! I unfortunately misremembered what their meanings were oops lol #Well I got them kinda half-right - I like blue as skeptical quite a lot :D I think it suits them both!#Sans as wary and logical and wanting to keep distance to assure his safety and what he can devote energy to - I like it!#And Papyrus using his brother's colour to be grown up in the way that Sans is hehe <3 It's sweet #I misremembered orange lol I assigned blue's alt meaning of ''curiousity'' - orange is meant to be bravery! yall ever think Shen Yuan went through like, internet withdrawal after being transmigrated into Shen Qingqiu? Like, he's canonically a NEET shut-in who did nothing but spend his time online, you can't tell me that for the first week or first few weeks of being SQQ he wasn't twitchy.

Like, reaching instinctively to his pockets for a phone that wasn't there, having an obsessive itch in the back of his mind that he should check and see if X or Y novel or webcomic has updated -- only to realize he can't anymore and being irritated by it. Wanting to go and see if there's new posts about this or that, but again realizing that he can't.

When he's bored or uncomfortable or just feels like wanting to escape he tries to go for his phone to distract himself, but oops! Not there anymore, and now he has to find a new and different way to distract himself from his feelings. And going through system notifications, quests, etc only does so much.

And there's that Tetris Effect too. SQQ makes a mistake while writing and instinctively goes to backspace on it except hey-ho that's not a keyboard and now he just dipped his pinkie into a bottle of ink or on a still-drying letter.

With him scrambling to fix his reputation and learn how to be a peak lord, I think his abrupt cold-turkey from all things internet would just be another straw on the camel's back that he promptly Ignores until it goes away on its own after he acclimates to his new surroundings.

Like as the peak lord naturally he would be doing this kind #of stuff but hes NOT the peak lord but to keep up appearances he has to know how to do this stuff. and finds it??? actually quite rewarding #even more than getting into an argument online or getting a new merch item. he's making or doing this stuff. he starts drawing and finishes #a piece and regardless of its skill level he feels something unclog in his chest. like sediment being scraped off the bottom of a creek and #being washed downstream. a weight that's been slogging through his veins suddenly untangled. physical proof of his efforts that feels great #starry is incapable of NOT giving her favorite blorbos more hobbies. starry is incapable of not giving her favorites artsy hobbies #this is probably NOT a new or original thought whatsoever but im throwing it out there anyways bc it fascinates me. i love transmigration #and albeit i've only read isekai manhwa/manhua there's a common theme of the people there assimilating into their new lives relatively quic #which i know is for ease of transition and getting to the rest of the story. but WHAT IF.#i have still not read svsss yet and idk when i'll be able to BUT have some thoughts anyways

as a big proponent of Making Your Own Webbed Site For Your Webbed Comic myself, it bothers me how, every time naver webtoon gets caught mistreating specifically its contracted artists, that news gets used as a jumping off point to promote self hosting/reading self hosted comics... it feels like a self-interested distraction from the actual issue of "this company is screwing over people it has contracts with"

#as much as i love having my own website for my comic it is not A Job Paying Me Money #and responses like this to contracted artists being exploited #feel like saying 'just quit your job and strike out on your own!' to people who are frequently not in a position to do that #this isnt an issue that can be solved by just telling everyone to get their own website yknow?#maybe i dont have the solution either but distracting from the issue to self promote wont help
