People shipping Tonkla/anyone are so brave. I fear that man is doomed by the narrative.

All I can think about is watching Great crumple with the gunshot wound and the start of the show being his heart stopping in the elevator and Tonkla watching him fall and knowing that Great absolutely deserves this and that he might regret what he did but he still did it and Tonkla lost his baby brother and all his respect for his lover and then he kills his lover's baby brother for what he did to his brother and it's this perfect illustration of the one person who didn't do anything wrong (Tonkla) getting revenge on the people who hurt him (Great and Korn) in a fantastic poetic way and, hey, Win could even help him cover up his extracurricular justice which is great. If you're gonna fuck a skeazy cop because your boyfriend is too engrossed in his new illegal business to comfort you... you might as well use him to cover up your crimes you did for the revenge he wanted to help you get anyway!

... I like this original timeline. Do we get to keep it? I wanna keep it. It makes sense. And all I need for Tonkla is for him to quietly flee the country. He could be free forever and know that he didn't let them get away with murdering Dome. It'd be perfect. Empty Korn's bank account and go!

Yes to the professor dreams at the hospital, Yes to the decent breakup with his girlfriend and yes to the patient-doctor-date by riverside to all the boyfriend dreams at the home. Cooking, Gym, Swimming, Singing, Sleeping, Sex, Sweetness, you got it Sir, everything. I just wanted to see that.

Sometimes love is like that, half felt, used, thrown away, running back to back here and there, like a football. I still beleive Korn - whatever was left in Korn- loved Tonkla a little more than he was allowed to but not enough to fight against the world for him, for them. It's so tragic that Korn's 4 mintues limbo was just him wishing he had to courage to runaway right after they had sex for the first time, in their college times. Because that single decision would have made a lot and lot and lots of difference. The whole plot wouldn't have happened. That's the fate of cornerstone characters in every story.

I didn't expect Tonkla to come clean to Korn, but he did that, he has no feelings left whatsoever for whomsoever.

Great giving up smoking was important. Because even though it was a limbo scene, that conversation was heartfelt.

Living with your loved one matters more than everything ig.

Lukwa telling her ex-boyfriend's voice brought her out of the limbo, and Den's voice and CPR bringing the ROSC of Tyme is idk what it was.. but glad he was saved.

And.. whoever's idea was to put purple neon angel wings all around Great, extra bowing to you.

Tyme not killing that Warit guy was a good point. People/fans wouldn't mind either way, but him staying by the ethics was good.

And Win, I knew you were gonna loose, I'm a little sad for you boi, all you're left with was that one photo.

tonkla and korn make me wanna chew glass they were truly the ride or die toxic yaoi pair I crave like they had a lot of ups and downs and deeply flawed chars but in the end what they wanted most was to be together AND I CAN'T HANDLE THIS

Tonkla asked Win to do the same things to him, Tonkla did to Korn in ep1. Liking his nips and sucking him. He did that to Korn, served him, on his own unasked.

That's interesting. He's reversing their dynamic with Win.

Difference is that Korn came, asked Tonkla if he should finish him. Tonkla was like "nah it's fine". Korn jerked Tonkla off anyways.

Win jerked Tonkla off while they still fucked. Tonkla came. Win didn't. Tonkla left him unfinished.

Tonkla is acting in Korns previous position. But in a bad version. If he sees Win as himself, in his previous position, it might be that Tonkla is degrading himself. Or thinks that's what he should get from Korn instead of the nice treatment he got?

EDIT: Or, he's taking revenge on Korn-stand-in Win that way.

Such a good example for the people who think sex scenes are a waste of time and space.

wanted to share my thoughts on the NC scenes in 4 minutes because apparently people have been complaining? idk man there’s no pleasing some people. anyway, i am not saying anything new but to me….

relationships (whether that’s a relationship between lovers or enemies or strangers, i’m talking how people relate to one another in any given context, i’m talking interaction and connection or lack thereof) are all about *communication*

that’s not just words, of course. i mean the silences between people. and the micro expressions. and the body language. and the sex. the sex is as important as dialogue if that is a part of a relationship dynamic! even if what’s being communicated between two people is: oh this feels good, do you feel good, too? all of these ways of communicating say so much about the characters as individuals and how they interact with other characters in their world.

that’s storytelling bro! people have sex! and sex isn’t always kinky! and that’s okay!

the great/tyme NC scene was perfect because it was so fucking natural and omg laughing with your partner whilst having sex is AWESOME. like, what does that say to you? to me it says: i’m embarrassed by how much i want you and you want me too and omg i wish i were smooth like they are in the movies but you’re smiling at me and i don’t think I’ve ever felt so comfy around someone that we can fuck and giggle about how awkward we are and still have a great time. also, are you okay? is this okay? because i know you’re smiling but tell me, let me know i’m taking care of you well.

yeeeah. anywho.

storytelling is fun for plot purposes of course and 4 minutes has an intriguing story but no one cares about the story if you don’t care about the characters. and how do you learn about the characters? by the way they interact with the world around them and the other characters. including through sex! yay!

Just throwing it out there but I'm pretty sure Tonkla is a bird in a very pretty gilded cage. The only time we've seen him leave his house is when he went to the police station to identify his brother's body and the cold open of episode 2. In every other scene, Tonkla is in his house, protected by (locked away behind) that big old gate and cut off from the rest of the world.

Now maybe he chose to live that way (we know he's struggling with his mental health) or maybe Korn chose it for him. Maybe it's a combination of both but either way he is so incredibly isolated and it seems like Korn is the only person he's interacted with for a long time before Win turned up.

Taking his isolation into account, that makes Korn ignoring him so much worse because there is no doubt in my mind Korn knows Tonkla doesn't have anyone else, that he is Tonkla's only real support system. If that's the case then Korn goes from being a dick to being downright abusive.

No wonder Tonkla gave into Win so easily and, if it is Korn on the receiving end of Tonka's rock in episode 2, then good for him.

Can the last two episodes just be Tonkla hunting down everyone who hurt him or his brother and murdering them point blank while Win covers up for him just a step behind? I'd be down for that.

anyone else spend the past week thinking about how it's not just that Tonkla pushed Korn out of the way to take the bullet for Korn, but also that the reason Win drew on Korn to begin with was because Korn was about to shoot Win and by pushing Korn aside, he stopped Korn from being able to shoot his gun at all?

he was trying to save them both, and in the end he only saved Win.

Tonkla was on a mission of vigilante justice for this whole show, and he made sure that the one person who was not actually associated with crime or anyone's death or murders, who had spent the whole time trying to get justice for Dome and Tonkla, who had tried to help even tho things were constantly taken out of his hands and every trail he followed led to a dead end, was the one who survived.

Tonkla died thinking that both of the men who loved him were alive, that he had stopped them from killing each other. that they would both live even if he didn't.

it just makes everything sadder.

Korn x Tonkla x Win are so In The Mood For Love core. But nobody cares to or dares to love completely. Idek what completely means, but something like love the other person enough to change the plot kinda love? Or love enough to break your inner and outer barriers/walls/work expectations kinda love?

Korn can't loose the gambling sites for taking over the cargo industry in future.

Win can't do much beyond the privileges his job gives him.

Tonkla loved his cat, his brother, Korn, Win. But not enough. Grief eats you alive.

Murders and suicides are faster than justice.

Whether you have money or not, have someone to love or a fuck buddy or the ability to maintain a friendship, mental illnesses eat you alive.

Korn lost all the hope and meaning for living anymore.

Tonkla's visions of black cat, remorseless killings, completely two different kinds of sexual intimacy with Korn and Win, him stepped infront of Korn when Win was about to shoot- none of that is sane.

Idk what Tonkla got, did he think he is gonna save Korn after all that confession, because somehow Korn has got nothing to do with his loses? His love might have wornout but that's unrelated somehow? Or did he die at the hands of Win because he can't live with him? Tonkla??? Wake up and give us some answers..

Win's wish and desires to bring justice and inturn use that to win over Tonkla, being by his side, during cremation etc.. and failing in it and asking him to surrender finally was just sad on top of sad on top of sad and him looking at Kla's photo while he is at work. Sad.

In In the Mood for Love, they didn't die. Here these two died. I know I'm comparing a mafia show to doomed romance movie, but the apparent inability to choose/love makes me so.

Love - Cheating - Wornout dried out feelings - Sex - and the whole cobwebs - SAD. Tragic.
