i do love miss sands as one of maeve's biggest advocates, but this particular moment has never sat comfortably for me.

Marie is such a sad character because she wants love and family so bad that she can never shut people out no matter how important she feels it is to do so, she'll push them away only to pull them back even closer. She made friends, found love, and at the end of the season she dismembered one of her closest friends (deserved but you all know damn well that it's gonna fuck with her head). Believing she's too dangerous to love but loving so hard anyway has to be such a burden to bear.
