I mean I'm Certain any batman fans on Tumblr dot com are very familiar with English lit, but in the rare chance you don't remember plot, in The Yellow Wallpaper:

-woman gets sent away into isolation because she's gone 'insane'

-she begins to see shapes and figures in the yellow wallpaper (in the attic she's kept in)

-obsessed with peeling away at it

-the pattern is like "an interminable string of toadstools, budding and sprouting"

-she believes there is a Woman in the wallpaper who she becomes obsessed with freeing

-The end is Very open ended but she describes that she's Free and crawling around the room, on the other side of the wallpaper, finally "out at last"

-this 'creeping around the room' she describes could be interpreted as her shadow circling the room/floating as in she Hung herself

So yes TLDR, unstable woman peeling wallpaper, metaphors and depictions of hanging: that's all very Sofia isn't it?? The yellow wallpaper in her mother's room/in Arkham? Toadstool drugs? The Hangman?

While I did marry Narinder, I also had to marry 2 others for 100% and she was actually my first choice! (Kallamar then became my 3rd spouse)

She's the best, I love her so much. Canonically we got married for tax purposes and have a platonic marriage. Why? Because fuck it idk

Fena was my second follower and I usually make sure to keep the first few around because of sentimental value - she's also the least problematic of all my spouses. I mean, in comparison to all the others she's also the only one who didn't try killing me...

Even though she TECHNICALLY isn't the first follower of my cult, I am still extremely biased about her - I could NOT keep playing if she were to permanently die or something.

I might draw the rest of my disciples soon! And maybe some OCs. It's kinda fun drawing them.

Here's a headcanon I've had for awhile but just now finally fleshed out.

So basically, in Splatoon, music is very powerful. This is canon to a degree, what with the Inkantation, but I'm talking all music. The Inkantation is the most powerful, allowing the Agents to take out the various final bosses. However, other songs carry power as well. For example, Fly Octo Fly/Ebb And Flow has immense power as well, as seen in the end of Octo Expansion.

This also explains the massive boom of Turf Wars during Splatfests, as the music naturally urges cephaloppds to fight.

The song power also scales with various things. Firstly, it scales with fame, but it can also scale based on how personal the song is. For example, EAF doesn't have as much a effect during Splatfests, but paired with Fly Octo Fly, the song written for Eight, it has a much more potent effect. Another example of this is how Spicy and 3Mix Inkantation were both customized towards their respective Agent, making their effects even more potent. This could ALSO explain why Inner Three is so much more powerful; the original Inkantation plays, which is her own theme, therefore making her more powerful

This also leads me to the creatures who sing these songs. When a group is chosen to be the designated Idols, their bodies will undergo a transition. Their tentacles, pupils, and fingertips will change, marking them as Idols. These Idols are capable of producing the most powerful music. The reason Deep Cut doesn't have all of features is due to the fact that they are primarily treasure hunters, using the title of Idol as cover. It could also be because Big Man is the most powerful entity in the Splatoon universe, and therefore inherits all the special features.

However, not just Idols have these effects exclusively. For example, most of the cephalopods, and creatures in general, depicted as songwriters have some sort of change differentiating them from standard ones. Also, this explains why Octavio is both so powerful, and why he is so large and inkless.

Overall, Splatoon music lore is weird and wacky but really cool at the same time.
