They say that your chilhood will shape what you become in the future. That is practically the same for me. Not... childhood. Early years is more, accurate, I guess. No, not exactly a godhood either. I'm not a god, just... an entity. Elderitch human hybrid kind of style. Ummm... Like those knockoffs that looks vaugely like the one you wanted that you bought from some shady website, looks like it doesn't work, but still does like how it was suppose to in its own wretched way. Yeah, kinda like that just to simplify things for you.

The first few millenia I spent in my home-world, I used it to look after the young ones of my once loved ones. How foolish I was back then, trying to retain my humanity. Desperately clinging onto it like its a rope.

The thing is, ropes break. Mine did not. It is a curse. The thing I was so proud of, is a curse. Wait, no, it's not. It was the thing I inherated from It that corrupted the rope, not the rope itself! Sorry, my bad!

It pulled me up, gave me false hope, then slowly but surely began making adjustments to everything. And before I can properly comprehend what was happening, it has already finished its job. It has turned me into... this, the thing I despised the most. Into... It. But still, it stubbornly hung around around my neck like a noose, nah, at this point it has turned into a shackle of some kinds. Oh! A parasite, thats the word, that just refuses to loosen its grip. But like, a million times more annoying and traumatising. Its still the rope that was, is, my humanity, and I have a feeling that it will be hanging around for long. Heh. No pun intended. I guess I got what I wanted in the end. Now it just wont leave. Like a parasite.

When I was still mortal, I thought, to live as long as I have would now, would mean I will have lost the ability to care somewhere along the road. But ohh, I was so wrong. I was too, wrong. Like the one before me. Or ones. I dont know. It is hard looking for information about it. It might have float away somewhere. The distance between worlds is not a thing you know. There isn't a distance. It's some dream logic shit, I'll explain it later. Even when I go mad. It's there. Even when I die, or try to atleast, it is there to pull me out of hell or heaven or whatever happens after death. The humanity is unescapeable. Pfft

So naturally, I, seek death.

theres a small part of me that thinks the reason Chilchuck stayed with the party and went back in the dungeon in the first place was because he didn’t want to leave Laios alone. That Laios was moreso the reason he stayed.

In your Spitfire AU, since Zuko is looking after Lu Ten II, what happened to Ursa?

Zuko is slightly older in the Spitfire AU. He was banished at fifteen, his head a little clearer and denial a little weaker than in canon. After his first look through the Air Temples, Zuko decides that if he can't find a myth, he might as well search for the next best thing.

Finding Ursa isn't easy, but in time he makes it to a secluded house in a near-forgotten part of the world. His mom is there, older and stronger and alive.

But she isn't alone.

And Zuko, as it turns out, didn't keep the best company during his search.

When Ursa is discovered and her secrets are laid bare for assassins (for Ozai) to find, she begs Zuko to take his little brother and run. She'll do anything it takes to protect her children, even if that means leaving them behind to keep a target off their back. Ursa diverts attention from them and allows Lu Ten's ancestry to be kept a secret. She orders Zuko not to follow her again, and disappears.

Zuko is left with a little three-year-old brother to raise and a mother he cannot hold onto.

Finally revealing one of my other blorbos, Niccolo Sonata! A mixed genre troll who poses as a Pop Idol up until world tour

He's a complicated bag, he's half rock half classical, his mother kind of low-key hates him, and his dad does care but is kind of paralyzed with various anxieties that comes with the fact that Niccolo is half classical (worried about his constitution and his wings) and things related to his mother (she doesn't want Niccolo to become like his dad and puts a lot of restrictions on him)

Both of his parents don't really know what to do with him, and he doesn't know what to do with himself.

He has a lot of internalized hatred towards himself and the two sides of his musical families, plus he is a secret third genre (symphonic rock) which he doesn't fully understand. He got picked on a bit in Volcano Rock City, they're a lot rougher than he's used to so he just kind of took it, which is why he looks so roughed up in one pic and the other he says they hate him in VRC

Again he's really complicated even tho he doesn't look it, if you have questions about him lmk

There's a lot about Twilight's injury arc that makes me wanna cry but every time I read through it Legend is what gets me

Because Legend took his hat off out of respect when going into Twilight's room while he was injured

I don't I ever have or ever will read a "salty and traumatised and not-nice but still good" character as well written as Legend. Because he's mean and snarky and grumpy- and almost always at least one of his eyebrows is down. Twilight even saw him as a bully at first. (Ref. comic 'bully' in Lu archive)

But this is a warrior who will take off his hat for another who got hurt. Legend shows love in almost invisible ways, and his heart is guarded enough to have spikes. But if he's going to see someone who's injured he shows respect and care.

And he showed his care in other ways too- he has so much love for Twilight to show this much past his guarded heart

Legend is always wearing his hat- it is literally something he puts on just as much as his shoes or tunic.

He shows so much love for Twilight through his injury. And him pulling off/putting on his hat is just one small way that was shown.

*dies drowning in tears because legend took off his hat and it means so much and*
