A Caravan of Two

I have time without dedicating art to May the Fourth! And I have had this cooking since the past year for that reason x'D (I missed two years but I'm slowly integrating back my old busier annual art schedule).

These two are random OCs I put together and I like drawing them for the date. They don't have a name or a plot set at all but I like the idea of a messenger Pit Droid going on a quest with a Varactyl so, I find myself most of the time drawing them on random places.

And this rendering is too a break from my usual more polished one! I used to do it a lot for quick homage/fanart of different things I watched/rewatched during the year. I felt nostalgic while working on this for that reason.

My first droid is underway (1:1 Pit Droid)! I'm shooting for having it done for May the 4th and the plan is to paint it in the colors of the University where I work in communications so we can use it on social media (that and the colors happen to be the same as Ukraine's and the Buffalo Sabres) ;) I'm printing at a .1 layer height to cut down on sanding and it seems to be working well. The files are really great so far. I think the most challenging part will be the three part head which I will tackle next.
