CC creators not wanting conversions

Okay so I'm hearing this is going on lately and I just want to say something about it cause it's ridiculous bullshit. When the sims 4 first came out and there was no cc for it, you know what the first thing sims 4 creators did? They converted cc from the sims 3 over to the sims 4 and a lot of it was Newseasims hairs! Did most of you ask Newseasims if you could convert the hairs over to sims 4 or did you just do it anyway? I bet you just did it anyway. The point is converting items from sims 3, 2, or 4 takes nothing from you, it's still available for whatever game it was created for it and it' still within the sims. This is in the EA Policy, we don't have to ask you for permission to convert, reupload, share, change, remodel etc. so sims 4 creators who keep harassing people about conversions or shared cc need to stop. Unless you own the sims, no one has to ask you permission for anything involving this game and that includes converting/sharing content.

If you want to have full rights to your content, then by all means go over to second life where you have full control over who uploads or shares. I'm 31 years damn old, DO NOT message me about cc being converted, cause your ass is going to get ignored or it's just going to make me convert more of your content out of pettiness. Most of you still don't follow the 2 to 3 week rule for release on your content, I know when half of your shit is from second life or downloaded off some 3d site and put behind paywall. So please don't even bother. You guys take this shit way to seriously and it's annoying. it's a bunch of 1s and 0s and you're freaking out cause someone converted some pants over to sims 3..get real. Anyway the one thing I will still continue to do is give credit and never place behind a paywall...that's it. That's all you're getting from me..anyway good talk. So guys keep sharing and converting if that's what you want to do, don't let people bully you over a game.

i'm not blaming anyone because there's literally no way you could know but whenever people say "i'm shocked you aren't already a fan of/aware of this pop culture thing" it always makes me a bit sad because. yeah i guess i probably would have been if i'd been allowed to have interests and casual hobbies that weren't constantly scrutinized and only deemed acceptable if they contributed towards my future academic development as a kid. maybe if i'd been allowed to use a computer or phone without my parents constantly breathing down my neck about what i was using them for and punishing me and further restricting my access to the internet if they caught me seeking out any kind of social or recreational interaction there that wasn't pre-approved and regularly checked to ensure i wasn't saying or doing anything that didn't suit their traditional conservative nuclear family sensibilities (or just, like, having fun in a way they couldn't understand tbh). maybe i would have been able to just like. enjoy things. maybe i would have had friends.

DP x DC thoughts

Every fanfic and prompt I read has danny either pretending to be older than he is or just outright telling people he is a child.

I’d love to see actual thousands of years old danny who lost his family and has been in his castle for so many years that he’s become a shell of himself. He’s super knowledgeable, super powerful, but he’s just  t i r e d. 

Not to mention he can change his form like clockwork if he wanted to but most of the time he stays in his 14 yr old form cuz that’s the most comfortable.

Now imagine the JL come in. They summon the Ghost King because they need help and omg that is a child on the throne with a dead eye stare but he’s super powerful and helps them for no fee and and bruce is already pulling out the adoption papers.

Dick gaining an older brother figure and learning not everything has to be on his shoulders.

Jason and Danny bonding over being forced to adapt to a world that’s mourned and moved on from them and the struggle to learn to fit in again (because jason is technologically illiterate with all the advancements he missed and you can pry that head cannon out of my cold dead hands).

Tim gaining an older brother who actually listens to his rants and pushes him towards new info cuz danny has lived for so long and duh he knows stuff.

Damian just being a language nerd with danny and learning some languages that have been lost to time (because now he can shit talk about drake without anyone knowing)

Duke just vibin with this bright ass creature but hey? at least there’s another meta in the fam.

Danny spoils the girls cuz they remind him of dani and jazz.

all the while danny slowly gains his spark back and becomes more and more like his old self.

What are the craziest or most unexpected shopping trips that Robbie and Eddie get up to? And how do they try to get them past Steve?

HA the biggest is definitely Robbie’s electric violin.

Right around the time Eddie resigns himself to the notion that his only musically-inclined child is going down the classical path, he catches wind of the electric violin.

Steve manages to convince him to not immediately buy one because Robbie is only 11 at the time and while Steve has no problem investing in his kids’ interests, he at least wants to make sure they won’t completely drop the interest right after the novelty wears off.

Unfortunately for Steve, thirteen-year-old Robbie stumbles upon the 2017 Piano Guys masterpiece Celloopa, which notably features an electric cello (and seven other cellos; it’s literally insane) and loses her goddamn mind. Eddie takes this as full permission to finally go forth and seek out an electric violin for his daughter.

Generally speaking, Eddie and Robbie aren’t that good at hiding things from Steve. Eddie is a chronic over-sharer (esp when it comes to Steve), so his psyche is not at all prepared for not telling him things. Typically their approach is to just pretend that whatever they bought has been there the whole time which…isn’t exactly air-tight so Steve usually knows pretty much immediately.

He and Robbie were perfectly content just hiding the new violin from Steve but, obviously, it took him about two seconds to notice when Robbie’s violin noise was suddenly being amplified.

He was not thrilled.

(Though, in Robbie’s defense, she does end up going on to make a career out of playing the violin so Steve actually got to see a return on his investment there).

A non-exhaustive list of other things Robbie managed to convince Eddie to purchase over the years includes: an iPad Pro (for Clash of Clans, obviously), a KitchenAid, new Docs, a Kindle (because the iPad Pro is “too big to read on”), so many over-priced water bottles, and a chameleon.

The chameleon actually managed to escape Steve's notice the longest (because Robbie's room is such a disaster that he didn't see the cage). He only found out when Robbie eventually got bored and gave the chameleon to a very willing Hazel. Around the same time, Steve was going over that month's billing statements and noticed the charge and then Hazel sort of ended up getting thrown under the bus for it.

(A runner-up to the violin would have been the tattoo that 16yo Robbie had fully convinced Eddie to drive her down to Connecticut for if Steve hadn’t caught them).

the two funniest things about psychonauts so far. in my humble opinion. (i am three hours into this game). are (1) the scene where a bully says to raz "i heard you were raised in a circus" and you the player goes. haha real original insult buddy. until it is revealed that no actually raz was ACTUALLY FUCKING RAISED IN A CIRCUS. and (2) when you go to agent nein and say "yeah i would like to fight the giant shadow monster lurking in the depths of my psyche" and he, a person who moments prior was basically goading raz into fighting said giant shadow monster, goes "what? no. i cant let you do that? no! thats against so many rules!!! you CANNOT do that!!" while raz is actively running away from him in order to get a gun license
