Welcome to my art account!
I'm Astro, I'm primarily a digital artist but I also do traditional sketches now and then too! A bit about me I'm from Ireland and currently 22! I was an Instagram artist for the longest time but am no longer happy with where the site's going, so... here I am! I'm also on Youtube which is where my most ambitious projects take place lol I do play video games in my past time, more on that in the next paragraph :) I LOOOVE space stuff, which of course is the inspiration for my name and sona, which also trickles into my other interests. I am also getting into music production! So, what to expect from this account? A lot of my artwork is fan art based on the video games that I enjoy. Primarily Kirby, Terraria, Pokémon are the main 3 to expect but there may be the occasional Mario post or whatnot lol My OCs! I also have my own OCs that I also post about a lot! The main trio of characters are Via, her little sister Kayleigh, and her best friend Orion. The posts about my OCs are just slice of life kinda stuff, but I also randomly insert them into other media or memes now and then xD One of such (the most prominent) is in one of my art projects! What are these art projects? First off is Project Dream! My Kirby art project, a fan made story that takes place after the events of Kirby Star Allies, my favourite Kirby game! Each of the illustrations are primarily dedicated to each of the Dream Friends. Each installment also gets an accompanying timelapse/speedpaint video over on my Youtube, which is where most of the story is explained and visualised. There is a main antagonist of the story, and the Project has been going for almost 5 years now. It is in it's later stages, but how will the story end? Stay tuned to find out ;) The other one is Terraria Legends! Terraria Legends follows the tale of two heroes as they progress throughout the land of Terraria and facing the many bosses and events the game has to offer. These two heroes however are Via and Orion! The Terraria versions of Via and Orion are different to their original counterparts however. Terraria Legends isn't as old as Project Dream, but our heroes currently are almost at the end of Pre-Hardmode! Where else can I be found? Youtube, Ko-Fi, Cara, Terraria Forums Or alternatively, all my links can be found through my Carrd! Anything else? So, my ask box is open atm, but I'm still learning how this all works so I may close this at any point. In terms of rules, don't say/ask anything super weird/nsfw. I personally don't mind any light jokes in this vain, just keep it relatively clean lmao. Any questions about my characters and their stories are all good! In terms of Project Dream or Terraria Legends, I like seeing speculation, but please don't just ask what will happen in the next episode or stuff like that, I don't wanna just spoil things for people y'know? ^^; Oh, and fan art of my OCs or my projects is very welcome, I'd be delighted to see that so feel free to @ me for that! :D Just be sure to respect any existing relationships with the characters, like don't ship two characters who definitely should not be lol DM's aren't really open, sorry about that. Only people I'm familiar with I'm ok with DMing. It usually takes me a good while to get comfortable with new people. Main Navigation Tags (#Astro Art) (#Astro Sketches) (#Project Dream) (#Terraria Legends) (#Astro OCs) (Each post with my OCs will be tagged with their name) I'll edit this whenever I have anything to change/add, but that's about everything for now! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy your stay here! :D

Welcome to Soul Link: Ascension!
This is a game set in a brand new region known as Dalcia. It's exceptionally cold climates are home to many Ice-type Pokémon, with other climates housing Pokémon many might not expect to see. Within this region, there are 172 brand new Pokémon to discover, and a total of 520 Pokémon within the entire region. Some Pokémon you have seen before may not look the same as you may remember them as, however, so be on the lookout for any surprises!
The Main Characters
You, the player, are tasked to enter a brand new Pokémon journey. Having missed your first opportunity when you were young, you seek out this life going into your early 20s. Play as three different main characters:
Orion - This is the male protagonist, a determined individual that enjoys the thrill of adventure and wants to reach beyond the top.
Aurora - This is the female protagonist, a softer character at first glance but can get real fired up in the heat of battle.
Winter - This protagonist is neither male nor female, though behaves much like your average trainer with hopes of achieving a high-ranking title.
Along your journey, you will encounter significant characters and discover new ways to connect with your Pokémon. You will also start your journey with two long-time friends of yours:
Est - This is your rival. He is a strong-willed trainer who will find every which way to turn the battle in his favor, searching for a title even higher than champion.
Genevieve - This character is not one to battle as much as the others, but will support them in their endeavors. She wants more than anything to be a professional artist and photographer.
Voltage Industries
In the Dalcia region, an island houses a small town-like series of buildings to construct what is known as Voltage Industries, a modern technology company created to explore and discover the behaviors of human and Pokémon souls alike. During your journey, you will meet its CEO, Markus, who acts as your mentor in discovering and unlocking the potential your soul has. Voltage Industries splits into four branches: The Electric Branch, the Dark Branch, the Steel Branch, and the Genetics Branch. The fourth of these branches is a recently founded branch and covers the entire island it stands on, while the other branches' locations remain elsewhere.
During overall research, Voltage Industries has discovered untapped potential in the souls of Pokémon and humans. As it turns out, the behaviors of Pokémon can be represented by the structures of their souls. Furthermore, these behaviors can be classified into the 18 types the Pokémon world is familiar with. This has led to the discovery that human behavior and personalities can be classified by these types as well, dubbing human soul classifications as Soul Types. Much like Pokémon, human souls are comprised of 1-2 prominent classifications, while the rest sit back as passive and minor to minimal attributes. For example, a human with a Fire Soul Type will behave and believe differently than an Ice Soul Type human.
With the discovery of Soul Types came many more discoveries afterward, such as untapped potential for each specific Soul Type and the ability to link a trainer's soul to their Pokémon's soul with a deep enough connection. These phenomena are respectively named Soul Power and Soul Linking.
Soul Power
Soul Power is a phenomenon where a user links with their soul enough to gain qualities that of which were previously unimaginable. This phenomenon can be accessed with the help of a Voltage Industries device called a Soul Band. It contains everything a trainer will ever need: Pokédex, Party menu, Storage, and in this case, a list of unlockable and usable Soul Powers. Each Soul Type has a series of 19 Soul Powers best suited for it called a Soul Tree. The more the user connects to their soul, the more they can unlock from the Soul Trees that tie to their Soul Type. For example, a Fire/Steel Soul Type will have access to the Fire and Steel Soul Trees.
Each Soul Power can be classified into one of five categories:
Soul Boosts - These are Soul Powers that give natural boosts to a Pokemon's battle skills, such as an increase in power of certain-typed moves, an increase in base stats, an increase in status condition affliction chance, etc.
Soul Passives - These Soul Powers behave similarly to abilities but are respective to the trainer rather than the Pokemon. Examples include boosting the user's fire type Pokemon's stat stage after three turns in battle and allowing up to three terrains to be active at a time.
Soul Actions - These Soul Powers behave like items and can only be used every other turn and only once per battle. These are what can seriously turn the battle in the user's favor.
Soul Teachings - These Soul Powers allow the user to teach a powerful move to Pokemon of the same type as the move.
Soul Evolution - This Soul Power allows the user to enact one of three things, each of which lasts for a limited time: The ability to Mega Evolve a Pokemon that can Mega Evolve without the need of a Mega Stone, the ability to grant a currently Mega Stone Evolved Pokemon a stage beyond Mega Evolution called an Ascension, or a third option that will be covered in the topic of Soul Linking.
Soul Linking
Soul Linking is a phenomenon that can only occur when the connection between the trainer and Pokemon's souls is strong enough. Strengthening this connection works similarly to friendship though has different requirements for both strengthening and weakening the connection. Once the connection is strong enough, a trainer can enact a Soul Link, which connects the trainer's soul to their Pokemon's soul. This causes three things to happen:
1. The secondary type of the Pokemon is either added or overwritten depending on if there was a secondary type at first. This secondary type matches the trainer's primary Soul Type. For example, a Venusaur, a Grass/Poison type, Soul Linking with a Ghost/Ground Soul Type would become a Grass/Ghost type. In this example, the shorthand for this change is called a Ghost-Link.
2. The Pokemon gains a varied boost in base stats. This boost always adds up to 90, but the boost in each stat varies from type to type, meaning Rock will not boost the Speed stat of the Pokemon as much as Flying will.
3. The Pokemon gains an type-specific extension in its move pool, meaning an Ice-Linked Pokemon will have access to Ice-type moves it did not have access to before.
Soul Linking is a reversible action that can be used on as many Pokemon as a trainer would like and is done outside of battle. However, there is a stage beyond Soul Linking that occurs only once in battle and is the third option in the Soul Evolution power: Full Linking.
This ability goes a step beyond Soul Linking and connects the two souls entirely, granting both types of the trainer's soul and double the boost in stats while sacrificing the move pool extension. For example, a Lopunny Full-Linking with a Steel/Dark Soul Type will become a Steel/Dark type with a total boost of 180 points in base stats.

Let's compliment mutuals! — Accepting
[[ oh you broke the system by sending in 3 of em oh shit ]]
💕— @superrstardaycare
Naturally if you've been here for at least two seconds, you know I gotta start off this list with Andy. They're the first DCA I've interacted consistently with, and I've loved every moment of it!! Their DCA is just so full of life and personality, their headcanons are delightful, and it's so easy to come up with new ideas together (almost too easy, we've overwhelmed each other a bit hdbrbe). I love love the human verse with Mason and Orion, and whenever I see that I got a reply from them I get so excited. Absolute S-tier RP partner, if you aren't following Andy then what are you doing lol get on it
💕— @pizzaplex-mechanic
We've been writing a little back and forth and haven't gone Super far yet, but for what we've written, I really love the roleplays we have!! There's just so much in every reply, all the little details, the interactions with the world around the muse, the little inner monologues and the flavour that's added that probably didn't have to be, but I'm so glad it is... It's just Fun and I'm really glad we became mutuals! I hope to learn more about the purple bean down the line!
💕— @bluesthebest
Devi is gay pass it on.
No but Devi is my childhood friend who I've known for over 10 years now, and to not just sit here and gush about my BFF, I wanna talk about their roleplaying real quick! Cus ofc I'm excited whenever I see their stuff on my dash I'm super biased.
Devi is great at throwing in new ideas and twists into roleplays, and there's this energy in every muse I've ever seen them play. I haven't written too much with Blue yet (I will I just gotta respond to that one ask-) but I can see Devi's own personality shine through Blue, or maybe Blue shining through Devi? Maybe Devi took notes growing up while playing Pokémon who knows-
Devi is also the DM that runs our D&D games every second weekend (the other one it's my turn) and Devi's just excellent at bringing a sense of adventure, colour and unknown into roleplays, where you never know what the next thing that'll happen will be. If you want a wild time, go write with Devi!

My totally legitimate and real console that I have been playing on using an original store-bought physical cartridge wink wink nudge nudge has been acting up and depending on whether this issue keeps happening or gets worse I'm not sure how far my journey will go, but we stay silly. Anyway POKEMON WHITE DAY 5
Not wanting to leave the town badgeless, I chased after an apparently very frightened Skyla into the Celestial Tower. I tripped on the stairs and one of my unused pokeballs fell out of my bag and rolled into a candle someone left there and caught it, for some unknowable reason. Perplexed but on a mission, I climbed all the way up to the bell, where I cornered Skyla and convinced her I just wanted a badge, not to murder all of her Pokemon as she seemed to believe was my goal. Apparently she confused me for a particularly murderous member of the PRA group that has been terrorizing Unova, seizing and euthanizing several owned pokémon. Huh. Haven't heard that one since Commander Jupiter almost ended my nuzlocke three times.
Since I am but a common trainer looking to get a champion title, and not at all a hero chosen to kick some autistic guy's ass for being manipulated into a becoming an ecoterrorist, we went back to the gym and had a good time battling - Lilo even evolved after the battle! Fun, though Ruby, Jasper and Yuri sat this one out for obvious reasons. Then the aforementioned autistic guy showed up and goaded her into doxxing me, so now I have my mom's safety to worry about and I'm afraid I have to play into this guy's weird game while I think of a way to keep her safe.
So. Current state of the PAGLES (now one step closer to becoming the EAGLES):
Ruby (Pignite F, lv 33)
Ferb (Archen M, lv 35)
Lilo (Galvantula F, lv 36)
Yuri (Lilligant, lv 33)
Orion (Excadrill M, lv 35)
Jasper (Scraggy F, lv 32)
Next up is Icirrus town. I have a feeling Yuri might enjoy herself there.

MUSIC TASTES AND GUILTY PLEASURE SONGS bros + undateables
Lucifer
Jazz, classical music, if he has to choose a modern artist then aurora or Videoclub, he vibes with French music a lot of the time. He also likes Piano and violin covers of more popular songs but cannot stand the originals. Satan and belphie are aware of this and take full advantage, much to his chagrin.
Guilty pleasure: mamamoo, hwasa specifically radiates Lucifer energy and I can 100 percent see him vibing with it. Levi swears he once saw him at a concert but would never say so, he gets a death glare from Lucifer every time he brings up mamamoo in conversation so he knows he saw correct but also he *doesn't want to die*.
Mammon
90s hip hop jams, queen, classic rock, overall has pretty good taste in music, adores abba
Guilty pleasure: he cries at the shrek soundtrack and he doesn't know why. Just straight up starts bawling to all star. Also romantic songs get him crying. He just can't. He has a playlist named 'MC' that's full of romantic songs he wants to dance with them to, but any time any of the songs plays he starts crying.
Levi
K-pop and jpop, he stans Loona. Listens to a mix of male, female and mixed groups and artists. surprisingly enough he goes to the most concerts out of all of the brothers, even beating Asmo out (since he tends to go clubbing instead). It's the only time he voluntarilly goes into such an enviroment. When he goes to a concert he doesn't mess about, VIP tickets and gets the best merch. He loves anime themes, also see him liking anything 'niche' so is a bit of a hipster and a massive music snob. Likes things like horrible histories songs and asap science elements song where he can study without studying if ya get me. Deffo can name every Pokémon. Pfft you like the original poke rap? Catch this boi listening to BDG's better pokerap and reciting every word, also rocks out to Richie Branson.
Guilty pleasure: Ariana Grande but hates that he likes it cos it's 'normie music'
Satan
Studio Ghibli soundtracks, heavy metal, baby queen, MCR, AKMU, Triple H, Gang of Youths, Paramore, good taste but very varied so his playlists are always jumping between genres.
Guilty pleasure: the front bottoms, esp. the song 'father' for obvious reasons, also likes Videoclub but knows that Lucifer also likes it so adamantly denies he likes it. Catch him alone in the library jamming out to 'En nuit' tho I dare ya
Asmo
Techno and clubbing music, as well as anything on a girls night playlist, you kno he knows all the words and has definitely sung every song while crying at 3am on a karaoke machine, also the Orion experience and anything normally played at a pride parade or rave
Guilty pleasure: babymetal. He knows it's not the vibe he gives off but he finds them adorable, deffo attends every concert but will deny it. Levi saw him at one once and it was the Spiderman meme. He swore him to secrecy.
Beel
Happy upbeat music he can work out to, modern pop works but really anything with a rhythm. Likes African drums because of this, can play the djembe drum. Probably attends a Zumba class and makes all the fellow demons drool, from his abs and the fact hes eating a 30 course meal while he does it
Guilty pleasure: Shakira? I'm gonna say Shakira. Beels hips don't lie but catch him dancing and he'll get embarrased.
Belphie
Green Day and anything anti-authority, MCR, bmth, he is vibing to emo bops and you know it.
Guilty pleasure: country esp. dolly parton cos he's a cow boi.
Diavolo
He loves country music and because of this he plays it on repeat in the castle and Lucifer cannot stand it. If only belphie knew his guilty pleasure songs would drive Lucifer insane, he would play them full blast every day just to piss him off. Yeah maybe it's good he doesn't know.
Guilty pleasure: Explicit rap music. He know it's not good for his royal image to swear but man, he loves it so much. Got a sweet spot for Nicki Minaj but only Barbs knows about it.
Barbatos
I can really see him liking Bollywood dance and music for some reason? I feel like his favourite instrument is the sitar. He definitely watches Bollywood dramas in his offtime and gets very invested. Will do the same with Kdramas, Jdramas, Mdramas, a secret drama hoe. Only a dramatic bish would !!!SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 20!!! ((get the bros watch MC die only to turn around and be like 'well actually' he loves drama he's just *subtle* about it))!!!SPOILERS END!!!
Guilty pleasure: Nicky Minaj, who do you think introduced Dia to her huh? Also weak to kidzbop but don't you dare call him out on it. It's one of the reasons he and Luke get along so well. They vibe to kidzbop while they bake.
Simeon
Hymns I don't know what to tell ya, but also MUSICALS, Boi is a massive musical nerd and knows all the words. Luke once make the mistake of bringing up Hamilton and had to sit through him singing the entire soundtrack. It was good, don't get me wrong, but he was trying to do his human history class hw..
Guilty pleasure: lil naz x and Beyonce, but he blushed bright red the WHOLE TIME and prays for forgiveness after. Has definitely danced drunk to single ladies tho. Probably with mammon or Asmo.
Solomon
SALSA MUSIC this man can DANCE and dance he shall. Bachata all the way. But also shamelessly loves Nickelback. I'm sorry. I know. I can see him liking fall out boy, and purposely playing songs that reference angels and demons to get a rise out of them. He is the one that showed Simeon Lil Naz X.
Guilty pleasure: the spice girls. When Asmo found out they both had a mini concert in his room.
Luke
Kidzbop and hymns, but mostly kidzbop. He also likes studio Ghibli music, he listens to it while cooking, but he hates that satan likes it because *demon prejudice*.
Guilty pleasure: Avril Lavigne, more specifically girlfriend and skaterboi. Also likes Ariana Grande and Cardi B but has only heard their kidzbop versions and not the originals.

Could you tell us more about each house, and which characters are in them ?
yes! so, some relevant au premise exposition: in this 'verse, some people, like Pokémon, have 'types' called affinities that allow them to manipulate the life-energy of the world. These affinities are usually passed down genetically, so certain families may be known for certain affinities. This means that families with similar affinities often group up together to form factions of aligned interests.
more under the cut, because this is loooong. using Ancient Sinnoh here, because idk if/how Legends Arceus & Hisui is going to fit.
The significance of Houses is that they used to be factions of power during Sinnoh's Golden Age - a period of time where most of the information passed down is half story, half myth, and like, an eighth of maybe actual artifacts and evidence, with another eighth of ancient historians adding their own versions of history. Of course, their power is greatly reduced in the modern day - and getting over run by other regions and various in-region strife multiple times in various bits of history doesn't really help either, but they often control key areas of industry that allow them to retain some sort of influence over the region.
also, these come with pictures! because I drew shields/crests for them last year. They’re not quite accurate anymore, but they work fine for now, so here goes.
the Imperial House of Ariste
Credited with the unification of Sinnoh, the Imperial House of Ariste were said to be blessed by Arceus. The founders of House Ariste are (tentatively named) Calanthe and Albion, and their reign ushered in an era of innovation, prosperity, and peace (inwardly, at least) known as the Golden Age. House Ariste is First of the Circle, the governing body created by Albion to oversee the lands that were in their care. After their passing, their children tore Sinnoh apart in a bloody civil war (that became the topic of many adaptations, epics, plays, etc.) that continued after their deaths.
Houses
The original four three houses swore blood oaths of fealty to House Ariste. Highly influential, old money and steeped in tradition, with parts to play in the old stories. Legends say that in return for their oaths, they were granted weapons in defense of the empire.
House Prometheus
Currently based in Hearthome City, House Prometheus is primarily made up of psychic affinities. Affiliated with the Lake Trio. Traditionally, they were Calanthe's left hand in stories, and the House said to be closest to House Ariste. Having won the hand of the crown prince, and then losing both the prince and the daughter promised to him to civil war, they've never forgotten that they almost had an empress on the throne. In stories, they're Keepers of the Red Chain - however, if that ever meant anything, there are no records of anything called or having the capabilities of the Red Chain in their archives. Most historians and members of the House are of the opinion that this may have been an ability lost to time, or just an elaborate title.
Known for their weaving, House Prometheus produces high-quality cloth and thread, and has a definitive stake in Sinnoh's textile industry.
Characters: Regulus, Andromeda, Orion, Sophia, Tiberius.
It's Complicated: Lucian, Will (Johto E4), Argenta (of the Battle Frontier), Caitlin (Unova E4), Altair, Tanith.
House Themis
House Themis is based in Canalave City, and aligns themselves with Dialga. Compared to their fellow Houses, they retain the most influential power in modern day Sinnoh. A lot of their members sit in important places of Sinnoh's justice system, as well as in areas of education and knowledge. Metalwork (forging, smiths) and metal manufacturing also falls within their scope of investments. While primarily steel affinities, Aura users are a branching subsection of this House. House Themis also has significant connections and overlap with Clan Chthon (ground and rock), which is said to be an offshoot of the House.
Traditionally, House Themis was said to have been founded by a pair of twins that were Albion's right and left hands, helping him write legislation and uphold the laws. It's reasonable to assume that they were also behind much of Ancient Sinnoh's armour and weaponry. Recent research has also suggested that fighting affinities were also part of House Themis at founding, but at some point started detaching themselves from the House.
Characters: Riley, the librarian who runs the Canalave Library, the previous gym leader of Canalave, and a whole bunch of OCs I haven't gotten around to yet. Maybe Thorton, from the Battle Frontier.
It's Complicated: Byron, for reasons of honorary membership. Perhaps Professor Rowan.
House Gracidea
House Gracidea holds Eterna City and Floaroma Town. Shaymin is their patron. Primarily grass and some flying affinities. As expected, House Gracidea makes up much of the agricultural industry in Sinnoh, although lately they've been threatened by the advent of mechanical farming. To offset that, they've expanded into the medical field and tourism, tending to gorgeous fields of flowers. Highly sensitive to Sinnoh's environmental issues. Traditionally known as Sinnoh's Breadbasket.
Characters: Gardenia, Cheryl, Mona, OCs I've yet to get around to.
the Fourth House
Sinnoh's Fourth House is lost to time. As far as historians and archaeologists can tell, their patron was Palkia, and the house was primarily made up of dragon affinities. Traditionally Calanthe's right hand, which suggests they made up quite a lot of Ancient Sinnoh's military might. This is backed up by records that their heir was promised to House Ariste's second-born. Whether or not they were the aggressors in the civil war that tore the Golden Age apart, it was clear that they sided with the second-born child, and were summarily either slaughtered or driven out of Sinnoh, their records destroyed and erased. Geneological records suggest that the majority of survivors ended up in Unova, near modern day Opelucid City.
Sinnoh has never really been enthused about dragon affinities since.
(You might be wondering: what about Giratina? Giratina was a universal spirit that everyone made offerings to, regardless of House or status. Giratina was associated with doorways and the next life - a psychopomp, there to guide souls back into the flow of the world's energy. The subject of a number of mystery cults, the most prominent being the one situated near Sendoff Spring, which exists to this day.)
Clans
Factions that came together during the Golden Age, they had important roles to play in Ancient Sinnoh, and were rewarded accordingly.
Clan Khione
Primarily ice affinities, situated in Snowpoint City. Isolationist and proud, they're also highly spiritual and religious. Lake Acuity is in their keeping, as is the Snowpoint Temple. Historically, they were Ancient Sinnoh's consultants on all things spiritual and travelled all over, but pulled back to the safety of the mountains when discord arose.
Characters: Candice, Hale, Wren, Robin, Hayley, one OC that's likely to be the 3rd E4 under Eltan.
Clan Chthon
Based in Oreburgh, Chthon is the richest of the factions due to their trade in precious gems and metals. They make up most of the mining (and coal) industry in Sinnoh. Ground and rock affinities. An offshoot of the clan is interested in applying their affinities to archaeology.
Characters: Roark, Byron, maybe Bertha.
Clan Triton
Originally two separate factions of sailing merchants, Clan Triton is primarily water affinities. No particular base or city, but they have little pockets here and there, especially at major port towns. They continue to make up much of marine transport - everyone knows that Clan Triton is who you want running the boats.
Characters: OCs I've yet to get to. (Crasher Wake is not part of this faction.)
Epione Guild
Formed in more modern times, the Epione Guild was founded by poison affinities, but has grown to much more. Dedicated to practicing medicine and healthcare, most of those in the healthcare field or have some amount of healing ability are members of the Guild. Lots of grass affinities in here as well - House Gracidea has lots of overlap, and funds some of their endeavors.
Characters: the Nurse Joys, the OCs I've get to get around to from House Gracidea.

(This is the final of a three-part series chronicling the development and ideas behind “Dungeons ‘n’ Dragonites,” a Pokémon DnD campaign. This last entry will be about the final string of encounters, some of the later ideas for story elements, and a deep dive into the overarching themes of the campaign’s Starters. Speaking of, the fantastic art of them, along with many of the other original Pokémon seen here, was done by @extyrannomon on Twitter, and I highly suggest you check them out.)
Dungeons ‘n’ Dragonites - Phase 3: Fauxchemine
Like the Queen Durant, the Steelix/Glacix fight would have been a transitory battle between phases of the campaign, taking place right before the Starters were about to evolve for the final time. Glacix was an idea I came up with early in development. As Rock, Steel, and Ice have a relationship throughout Pokémon, having Onix evolve into a specially tanky Ice-Type rather than the physically tanky Steelix made sense. This was also a design I put a lot of work into the actual proportions, like stretching its face vertically as Onix is circular, and Steelix is horizontally stretched. Also, as Steelix has two long spikes on every other segment, Glacix has four smaller spikes in the same pattern.
Glacix was also the first of the four penultimate boss encounters before the close of the campaign, each representing one of the four sacred beasts of Chinese mythology. I thought it would be a pattern that players could recognize and possibly plan ahead for. Glacix was always planned as the Phase 2-to-3 transitory boss, but I actually had roughly prototyped the other three before I realized Glacix fit into role of the Azure Dragon (which I was missing).
The second of the bosses, representing both the Black Tortoise and Rare Variants, was a Dire Torterra. The idea was this Torterra was symbiotic, housing a Sudowoodo instead of a tree, and hiding its identity was a shiny Altaria capable of Mega Evolving thanks to the Key Stone that had replaced one of Torterra’s stone spikes. This was a rough concept, and I’m sure it would have changed drastically by the time the players would actually encounter it.
Third, representing both the White Tiger and Ultra Beasts, was Shora (from Shodo and Tora, the Japanese words for calligraphy and tiger). A pure white tiger that paints floating, metal stripes above its body with its brush-like tail. This was an idea I was very happy with, though I lacked the artistic abilities to render it effectively. If I remember correctly, the markings above its shoulder were based on the Kanji for Tiger. I also hadn’t settled on an ability for it, which was key for depicting Ultra Beasts in this campaign.
And the last of the penultimate bosses was Phanic, being a second Ultra Beast and representing the Vermilion Phoenix. Sadly, I had little planned for this guy apart from some concept designs, like the rest of them. I was working on these as the campaign was starting, and didn’t pursue finishing them after its premature conclusion.
Phanic (from Phoenix and Panic) is actually an Ostrich. If you picture a phoenix, you typically imagine great plumes of feathers around the head, wings, and tail, which are all things Ostriches specifically lack, and I wanted to subvert that typical depiction. I liked the idea that when it was startled, it would scatter its feathers resulting in an exclamation point forming using the spot on its face. It was supposed to seem unassuming compared to the many larger and more imposing bosses, though just as dangerous. Also, it was Electric-Type because it is frequently “shocked” *Ba-dum-tish.*
=====
Let’s talk about our players. One of the backstory elements our Grass Trainer, Ethan, had was that his parents’ restaurant was struck by lightning and destroyed some time before he went to school, and saw a Pokémon at that time. This left him with a fear of lightning (ironically picking an Electric-Type Starter). With this knowledge, and as I was using Ultra Beasts, I altered his backstory slightly so that it was caused by a Xurkitree, and would eventually encounter one during the campaign with his victory over it (probably with a lot of Wisdom Saves) curing his phobia.
Johnny, our Fire Trainer, had a goal of becoming an entertainer, but was vague about what kind. I had an idea for a “Streamer” Trainer Class he could run into. Someone who uses their Rotom Phone to live stream battles and get reactions and advice from their chat. (Let’s face it, if Pokémon were real, this would totally be a thing.) There was also DJ Tomomitsu, who runs Stelopy City’s Trainer Radio, and was a Gym Leader. The idea was to present a bunch of different Pokémon-based entertainment ideas and professions and have him decide which ideas he liked and wanted to pursue.
While our other players were aiming for careers, Orion, our Water Trainer, was more interested in exploring his relationship with his family. His father in particular; both he and his wife being high-ranking executives for Silph Co., and raising their children to also be successful. However, Orion had always wanted to be a Trainer, and it was his parents that prevented him from adventuring. I had it that his father was so against the idea was because he, too, was a Trainer in his youth. But not a successful one, failing many more times than he succeeded, and didn’t want his son to suffer the same disappointments as he did. His partner was Rhyperior, btw.
Lastly was our Fairy Trainer, Arthur. He wanted to be a Gym Leader, and cited specific interest in the Galar League. He also mentioned in his back story that his father was belligerent and against the idea. While the Leaders of the Galar League are entertainers by profession, if you look at the list of Gym Leaders and Kahunas in US equivalent regions, almost all of them have a profession and run Gyms on the side:
(Restaurant Owner, Museum Curator, Artist, Model, Business Tycoon, Pilot, Actor, Teacher, Rock Star, Mayor, Shop Owner, Police Officer; 12/15)
It felt like a hobby, rather than a career, and I ran with this idea as it seemed like Arthur and his obsession with the Galar League hadn’t noticed this fact (nor had his player), but his father had and was pushing him into a sports-based career (one that is usually lucrative and has off-seasons) so he could have a well-paying job and time on the side for his interests, similar to Orion’s father.
Though, no DM can control their players, and even by the end of our fist session I could tell I would have to change some things. It’s just good to have some idea of where to lead everyone, and adjust as you go.
=====
There’s one more Pokémon I want to talk about before we get to the Starters.
This is Necrotiti (Combining Necro with the Egyptian God Nefertiti), an evolution of Cofagrigus, evolving if it’s holding an item called the “Ceremonial Jar” (literally a jar filled with Yamask’s human intestines). It was meant to evolve from the Yamask they could catch during their museum field trip. The reason it exists is... silly. It’s another instances where I wanted to surprise my players, and giving the “Gardevoir Treatment” to what I consider the creepiest Pokémon was funny (which I feel is a reason I cite a lot). And I was really happy with this design, which is why it got commissioned.
A lot of the original ideas I had for this campaign were meant to either surprise or creep out my players. Everyone I was playing with knew Pokémon very well, so I had this fear that if I presented them with a standard adventure they would either become bored or be able to easily predict where things were going. Having a Pokémon adventure within a single city, having it be more a mystery than a collect-a-thon, and using new Pokémon were all ways I came up with to keep interest high and have them guessing as to what would happen next.
Back to Necrotiti, despite having a sarcophagus Pokémon, we didn’t get a mummy. I wanted to make the body effeminate without being overly so, which is why her body is very geometrical in specific areas. For the mask, I went with a typical Egyptian Nubian motif mixed with some of the overall design elements and basic lines from Yamask, and the colors and patterns from Cofagrigus. But despite how much I like it, I don’t know if I would have used it. It didn’t match the Mutant Evolution concept, with its only similarity being that it’s a rare occurrence.
Onto the Starters: Epipesis has evolved into Drachenura (from Dragon, Lichen, and Meganeura). Grass Starters are typically based on extinct animals, and Flymph’s line is based on a Meganeura (an ancient species of giant dragonfly). Apart from some bulking out and additional colors, the lichen sacks in its tail are now yellow, as the plant matter has evolved with it. It supplies it with so much energy that it has to constantly move while the sun’s up to burn it off. Its tail tip is also based on the X-15, the fastest aircraft to date, as it was designed to be the fastest Grass-Type.
Steared has evolved into Auradiat (from Aura, Auroch, and Radiate). Now a Fire/Ice-Type, it’s based on an extinct species of cattle found around the time of the Ice Age. Its ability to absorb energy with its horns has become so powerful that they have frozen over. When I was originally designing it, I was actually trying to base it on the phrase “Irish Bull” (meaning a paradoxical statement), but as I kept working on it, it became more and more Minotaur-like, so I kept the Fire/Ice-Typing and dropped the more abstract elements. As I did, I actually made it more bull and less Minotaur since all Fire Starters are bipedal, and I wanted to try and avoid that.
Knaval has evolved into Chivalazuli (from Chivalier, the French word for knight, and Lapis Lazuli). This was probably my favorite example of features naturally changing as it evolves, with the antenna growing longer and the shield and lance growing harder (going from carapace, to stone, to crystal). Some of the things you might not have noticed at first glace were his forelegs becoming sub-arms on his chest, him gaining the lobster nose and it becoming a face guard, and how his eyes recess into his head. Also, almost every Starter is symmetrical (apart from patterns), with the only exception being Torterra, so I designed it to be asymmetrical throughout.
And Uteteo has evolved into Makutah (from the Aztec naming scheme used for their Gods of wealth and abundance and Utahraptor). He’s Fairy/Flying, with the gold adornments that first appeared on Uteteo now on his head and arms, giving him a more bird-like appearance. The idea was to have him naturally evolve from a Dinosaur into a bird, with the leg bands making them look more like talons, and the face mask giving him a beak. Also, he starts out with the singular sickle toe raptors are known for, and gets a new one every evolution, ending with a full set.
The thing that sets these Starters apart from ones you’d find in the games is that these are designed to be a team. As such, there are a few themes they all share to help reinforce that. (This ignores Utaw, but) All the Starters, throughout their evolutions, have a distinct yellow detail on their heads (eyes, nose ring, and antenna). Furthermore, once they reach their final stages, they share colors between them, with Drachenura having red on its extremities, Auradiat having blue neck fur, and Chivalazuli having flecks of green in its gemstone. And on top of that, they also all have two overarching themes. First is they all represent different time periods, with Drachenura being pre-humans (Precambrian), Auradiat being prehistoric humans (Ice Age), and Chivalazuli being more modern (Medieval Period). Secondly they all represent DnD, with a Dragon(fly), Auradiat filling the role of a minotaur and its connection to a labyrinth/dungeon, and the adventurous knight who traverses them.
There’s also reasoning behind their types, as all three’s secondary Types are also strong against their usual counterpart (Grass and Electric are both strong against Water, Fire and Ice against Grass, and Water and Rock against Fire). Furthermore, Electric, Ice, and Rock are all strong against Flying, which is the reason behind Makutah’s Type (a joke against the player who joined late).
Makutah does fit into these themes, but more loosely as it was created later. Utaw and Uteteo lack the yellow facial details (though they do have yellow eyes), only really achieving this during their final evolution. He also doesn’t share any colors, as Fairy is outside the usual threesome. It does somewhat fit into the themes of the others, but not as cleanly. Utaw, being a Dinosaur, is still pre-humans, but closer to them than Flymph is, and having Aztec themes puts him past Medieval and closer to the Renaissance in terms of human history, but is very close compared to the other time gaps. Also, the gold was partly to fit him into the DnD theme, representing treasure.
=====
One of the first things the players were told at the beginning of the campaign, and was reinforced throughout, was that Pokémon from outside the Wellou Region were mysteriously popping up all over the place, with the Ultra Beasts being the most extreme example. As to the cause, there were a number of red herrings. Silph Co. employees could occasionally be seen in areas where UBs were with strange equipment, Tomomitsu could occasionally be found before something would show up, and there were a few other strange characters like the Regional Champion or Silph Co.’s president. The only definite thing they would know was that there was a strange, creepy, grey Charizard that would occasionally appear when they took something down.
However, it would eventually be revealed that the above were only trying to understand what was going on, and prevent the appearances of such dangerous Pokémon, like our heroes. And as a massive Ultra Wormhole appears above the city, they come face-to-face with the true mastermind. Not an evil team, or a lone conqueror. Merely a single, twisted Pokémon. And our heroes have interfered with its fun long enough.
“You stare up at the now familiar form of the grey Charizard, which stares back with unblinking, dead eyes... Its mouth stretches wide, wide enough to swallow you whole, and a hand appears. And another. And another. Four skeletal hands pry its maw open from the inside, stretching it until its skin falls down to settle on its hips. What looks down on you now, with a single, glowing eye, is a monstrous form made of bone and rotting flesh. And witnessing the four of you before it, it lets out a high-pitched, chilling laugh...
“‘Fofofofofo...’“
Fauxchemine. A sadistic Ultra Beast capable of warping time and space to its will. All the disturbances throughout the town, all the strange creatures that have appeared, all the monsters sent to terrorize our heroes; all the result of its twisted sense of fun, and the consequences of getting in the way of it.
So there’s a running joke among my friends that we all “hate” Charizard. Not actually, but it’s always pushed in marketing with new forms and such, even though its popularity has been dropping steadily over the years. As such, I thought it would be somewhat cathartic to have the big bad they have to beat up at the end be related to Charizard. ‘Chemine’s skeletal nature comes from trying to cinematicly picture the encounter in my mind, with the eerie image of the mouth stretching open from the dialogue earlier. With bone white and rotten greens, the skin wasn’t meant to reflect Charizard as a shiny, but rather with all its color drained from it, as it’s more a puppeted skin than an actual part of the Pokémon. And as many Pokémon draw inspiration from Kaiju, ‘Chemine does, too, specifically calling back to an Ultra-Kaiju named Greeza with space warping abilities.
It’s Steel/Dragon with Thick Fat. When planning encounters, especially this late into the game, Auradiat made things tough since its offensive Typing is insane, and that combination made it resistant to all of the Starter Types except Fairy. This was supposed to be the toughest fight in the campaign, so I wanted to build a Pokémon that would be difficult to deal damage to. A swift Pokémon able to warp around the field, summoning Ultra Beasts or other versions of Charizard as adds or for specific attacks, I wanted this to be memorably difficult.
Oh, and the name? It’s meant to rhythmically sound like “Pokémon,” with the ‘faux’ symbolizing its disguise, and the ‘mine’ representing its personality. Everything in this world is its to play with.
But that giant Ultra Wormhole wasn’t just for show. Part-way through Phase 2 our players were sucked through a Wormhole themselves, both they and Fauxchemine bearing witness to a titanic creature as they did, and upon its defeat, it is let loose upon the city:
Standing over 100ft tall is Wreknarogg (from wreck, to destroy, Níðhöggr, a massive world-ending creature from Norse mythology, and Ragnarok, the end of the world). A massive symbiotic group of four Pokémon from a dead world, the whale-squid Bayleige, the parasitic Serrasite, and the barnacle Rhizocano. This was actually the first symbiotic Pokémon I designed, and its creation sparked the others like Shiinotic and Torterra so this wouldn’t be the first time our players encountered one.
Whales are the largest creatures on Earth, so using one as the base for a kaiju-sized Pokémon fit. It also helped that the prototype designs for the Cloverfield monster were based on a whale, so I had something to go on. Secondly, I really like a lot of the eldritch design philosophy, and a lot of those are based on sea creatures, which is where the combined squid elements came from. Also, when I was prototyping the design and trying to make it creepier, a friend suggested having a parasite coming out of its blowhole, which is what sparked the creation of Serrasite and Rhizocano (as whale’s are known to have such parasites in real life).
This was a design very inspired by the world it was supposed to inhabit. Coming from a desert world where they are the only living things remaining, they symbiotically support each other to stave off their own inevitable death, with Bayleige able to create rain with its ability and Rhizocano able to make artificial sunlight to feed Serrasite. Serrasite then gives energy to Bayleige to allow it to keep moving, and Rhizocano takes energy from Bayleige. It’s an incomplete system where energy is slowly lost over time.
Stage 2 of the final boss wasn’t supposed to be as intense as the last one. A gimmick for this fight was, at the start of every round, I was going to roll a D100, and an event would happen. They would be things like their friends showing up with healing items, trainers they knew joining the battle, wild Pokémon they’d befriended getting in pot shots, etc. It was meant to be a fun, celebratory, “you’re at the end of the campaign” fight rather than an intense one off the back of another. I was even considering having everyone use their full parties.
But after it’s defeated, a thick, dark haze enshrouds everyone. With their allies gone, and left with just their Starters, our players are alone in a dark void. I did say there were four Pokémon earlier...
And the final encounter is Wreknarogg (Core). The Pokémon who brought the three titans together, and controls them while siphoning off some of their energy to survive. Similar to Phanic, this was another unassuming Pokémon. Designed to resemble a virus while calling back to aspects from mythical Pokémon like Jirachi or Manaphy. I understand it might not feel as climactic as there wasn’t any set-up compared to ‘Chemine, who was shown throughout, or the previous Wreknarogg, who was foreshadowed, but I wanted a 3-stage boss fight, and this felt like a good way of concluding it.
While stage 1 was supposed to be difficult, and stage 2 was meant to be fun and call back to the long journey, stage 3 was an un-losable, cinematic fight with a somewhat somber tone to it. It was the final fight, the end of it all, and there’s a certain level of sadness that comes with that in accordance with the jubilation of completion. It was also meant to see how much everyone had grown; how would they handle this encounter? Fight it? Catch it? Persuade it? Maybe I haven’t listened to enough DnD finalés, but in how many can you beat the final boss by being nice to it and calming it down?
=====
And that’s the end. There would be some sort of epilogue, picking up with our characters some months or years later, but that’s not something I could write without witnessing the actions of the players. I was debating having everything that came from an Ultra Wormhole be sucked back in after Fauxchemine’s defeat, including the Starters (pull a Digimon Tamers), but as Wreknarogg came from a dead world I thought that a little cruel.
And to end things how I usually do; Overall, despite not getting off the ground, I was very happy with this project. I’m the type to pick up and drop projects frequently, and the fact that I stuck with and continued to work on it for months was something I was really proud of. It was also a great learning experience on many levels. And who knows; maybe I might do something like this again in the future...?

Stories I’ve made
I’ve got three stories so far that are in progress for all to see
Diabolical Once More: The DuckTales reboot mixed with the Duck Avenger Comics (you don’t have to know the comics to understand this story)
https://archiveofourown.org/works/26281696/chapters/63982543
Summary: The houseboat landed in a big crash, shaking the occupants inside, pictures and furniture lay strewn on the floor. "Ugh, what happen...?" Louie groans, trying to shake off the disorienting feeling and nausea coming upon him. "I... erg... I don't know," Donald replied shaking off the effects, doing a little better than Louie. He walked slowly over to the viewport window. Outside the mansion was gone, instead, they were in a large white room, "Uhh, that's not good." Louie stumbled, "what's not.." "Duck Avenger! I know you are in there, come on out to play." A loud voice, coming from everywhere, sung. "I can't wait to meet you!"
Connected to this I made a timeline for the DuckTales universe
https://archiveofourown.org/works/26237521
Becoming A Hero: My Hero Academia crossover with the Pokemon Anime
https://archiveofourown.org/works/27536998/chapters/67345027
Summary: Ash Ketchum has been through a lot. He has seen a lot of things. But now he woke up in another world with no explanation as to how he got there, where Pokémon aren't Pokémon, and almost everyone has a power called a quirk. Plus his aura is acting unusual. There's this kid who angry at everything, and a kid who wants to analyze everything and people are telling him to go to a school especially for heroes. This is definitely on the top five on the scale of weird things that have happened to him.
Also connected to this story is an explanation how a Pokémon battle would work in the MHA universe
https://archiveofourown.org/works/27718928
Entangled War: A Star Wars The Clone Wars Crossover with Transformers (during the beginning of the War on Cybertron)
https://archiveofourown.org/works/26246230/chapters/63885130
Summary: War has broken out in Cybertron, in order to defeat the Decepticons, Orion Pax is sent with a small team to find powerful relics lost to history. The Clone Wars is still going strong, Jedi knights Obi-wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, along with Padawan Ahsoka Tano has been sent by the Jedi counsel to find a mysterious force that has been foreseen to have great power. They must find it for the Republic to help them succeed in this war or to destroy it. They must also make sure Count Dooku and his Separatist army do not get a hold of it. (You don't need any knowledge for transformers)

In the past couple of episodes, 8 teams have been fighting for supremacy. Each trying to be more fficient, each trying to do what they do better, faster, harder and stronger than their opponent to reach and win the finale of the Spring Welcoming Tournament.
We’ve seen explosions, we’ve seen dinosaurs and we’ve seen the steady rise of two teams.
Today, these two teams go up against one another. The winner takes 20,000 gold and a mansion. And for someone among them, there is something personal as well...
Seon Adventures Episode 28: “The Cultbusters vs The Traveling Gentlefolk”
The Day of the Tournament’s finale has arrived and each member of the Cultbusters deals with things in their own way. Humor, a precautionary spell set in place, stretching and words to go by. Sweets. Psyching one’s self under a silent gaze, never leaving the direction of the Echosmith Hall, the Colliseum, wherein the battle shall be held.
The party head out and make an easy entrance, with Malak casting Aid on Belli, Amelia and Mournimar. Entering, we are greeted by two figures. One, River, recovered from the 1st round and back in work attire, waiting her turn as our gnome business partner, Peppery Pete comes forth.
Pep talk aside, the aged gnome reveals another motive for his presence in the waiting room for our party, which is to give us an open offer for a job of some sort. A job to map out some part of the continent, under the request of one of Pete’s investors. A high paying job, to be sure from one Lucius Bennett.
As Belli hands Orion and the remainder of her Blueberry Muffins for Pete to take care of (the muffins clearly there to appease the fey creature’s eternal hunger), River comes up next and informs the party of a job offer of her own.
A mostly hush-hush work, River’s offer is the retrieval of a valuable artifact lost for quite a while. She appears to trust us with the details for later talks, should we come to her as well, after having successfully brought the crystal ball from our Cultbusting escapade.
Despite Belli’s best efforst, we do not receive any spoilers on the mission, beyond the surface level stuff. River congratulates the party on how far the Cultbusters have come in the tournament, appreciating the initiative of it all and suggests they go for the Wizard first..
“Go for the wizard’s knees!” which turns everyone’s heads in Amelia’s direction, given that, after all, Sabrina is her sister. She does agree, to some extent. Taking out Sabrina first would be the most logical move to make. However she opposes any scarring and long lasting injuries.
“I’m here. And I’m watching your every. Fucking. Move!”
As Malak casts Anti-Life on himself, which causes black lines to temporarily cover his body, the horn blows, signaling the beginning of the finale.
The Trial of the Betrayed.
Both teams step out. The Cultbusters from the South Side, The Traveling Gentlefolk from the North, right from under the VIP seats.
As the man, sitting in the middle raises and then quickly lowers his hands, the battle begins.
Initiative is rolled and Malak takes point.
And casts Guardian Of Faith in the middle of the five. It takes the form of a Seviper (you know, from Pokémon)! One move out of it’s range and the victim will take the appropriate damage.
With this, Belli takes action and focuses on the promised goal. Taking out the wizard first. Thus, she looks to Sabrina and focuses a spell she had been holding onto for a while to use: Enemies Abound.
Sabrina tries to fight through it. But fails, perceiving everyone around her as a hostile target. As a bonus to all this, she inspires Amelia, given the situation they find themselves in.
With all that happens, Landis calls for his Crusdaer’s Mantle and charges towards Malak, right after getting bitten for his troubles by Sammy, the Seviper Guardian Of Faith.
Standing before the Cleric, he glares, aching from the damage he took from his clever first cast of the match, while the old man that appears with some similar features to him, Jeffry Ramsey tries to knock Belli out of her concentration.
But she easily avoids both his arrows.
Seeing all this, a determined Luctan takes his action, pulling the Greatsword off his back, chanting a word and suddenly... teleporting out of sight from the rest!
Only to reappear right in front of Dink Jawbone, Griffin Tallywork and Sabrina, herself. Three strikes delivered. A Slash on Griffin, a Slash on Dink and a Bonk with the flat side of his major weapon on the wizard in an attempt to stop her in her tracks.
Yes. Luck has truly become... Anime.
With Sabrina down, Dink messed up badly and Griffin not looking so hot, the Halfling pulls out a mace and axe in each hand, attacking Luctan as he teleports again, this time within his reach. He hits twice with the mace, barely doing any notable damage to the magic fighter, right before missing with the axe.
Luctan, seeing this display, and seeing Landis ready to attack Malak, leaves, offended at the insult of Griffin’s weak attacks. And gets hurt some from Landis’Mantle as he draws within range.
But the halfling has no time to process all this as Amelia charges in, right when Mournimar first misses, then critically hits Dink, knocking him out for a microsecond.
Amelia cocks her fists and swings in fast motion against the dual wielding Halfling. Brutalizing him with that good ol’ Dope Ass Monk Shit.
As Luck approaches, Malak attacks the Paladin, unloading blow after powerful blow. First, his Executioner’s Axe Spiritual Weapon strikes from the back, then he comes for the man with his actual axe, followed up with a couple of channeled divine attacks. Each strike is fueled with Necrotic Damage as what Landis essentially goes through in six seconds is essentially the touch of Death Itself.
Her avatar, Malak, the Death Cleric.
By the time he’s done, Landis does not look happy at all over this situation. Truly did not expect such initiative from a man of faith. But One does not simply underestimate a Death Cleric.
This opening gives Belli the chance to initiate the second part of her plan. The plucky Bard focuses her magic and music onto the brutalized Dink and Griffin aaaand...
Puts them to bed with her signature Sleep spell. Doctor Sleep in the house.
And for all of Malak’s efforts, she quickly gives him inspiration. Given Landis’ actions that come, following this, the cleric may as well need that.
Slash, followed by a second. Divine Smite implemented and Malak gets rocked in retaliation for all that happened mere moments prior.
With the focus shifting away from the Folk’s archer, Ramsey dashes over to Sabrina, resucitating her with a healing touch. And takes a bite for his troubles from the Guardian Of Faith.
As Luck approaches Landis, he attempts to hit him from behind with a Guiding Bolt, but that misses. The frustration of that misaction drives him to fight on, however as Luck Surges into Action.
One slash. It hits. Second slash, also hits!
Mournimar tries to help with taking on the Paladin. But the armored avenger dodges out of the way and the arrows fly through Amelia’s hair as she makes a dramatic bullet time dodge.
Regaining her posture, she turns to the slept men before her, right as Sabrina starts getting up again. And she starts stomping on them, flurry of blows upon flurry of blows Dink and Griffin.
The horrific display that follows knocks out the two men, which brings Sabrina to an internal monologue, in which she decides it best to prepare a spell for her lover, Landis.
As this happens, Jeffrey takes a Spiritual Axe to the chest from Malak, who ducks and dodges a swing from Landis’ sword, making a run for the Ranger across the field. While Belli sticks true to character and sends Sabrina into a dreamland of her own with another Sleep Spell.
Upon reaching Griffin and Dink, he touches each with the Spare The Dying spell, stabilizing them in the process from slipping beyond unconsciousness.
With the Paladin distracted, Belli uses the acting skills to good use to copy Sabrina’s voice and goes “LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU!” at Landis. Which gets him to, of course, look behind his back to see a Sleeping Sabrina, causing him to scream out in surprise.
Landis gets played like a fiddle. Again.
Enraged and entering desperation mode with two of his allies unconscious, a third fallen asleep and forth barely holding it together and casting, Landis strikes Luctan with his longsword, drawing blood and knocking the helmet off his head with the spin of his footing.
Luctan, as though by his titular alias or a twist of fate, avoids what clearly would have then become a Smiting attack, saving himself from the kinda damage that even his parents would have felt.
Lucky indeed, as Jeffrey Ramsey casts Conjure Animal, from his grounded position, summoning a pair of Giant Spiders. One next to Luctan and another next to Belli.
Fun. Or not so much for Mournimar, who releases a girly scream, as the tiefling has to watch as one bites onto Belli, who luckily fights through the poison and keeps the sleep spell a-going.
Surprisingly, the other spider goes for Malak. A mistake as it’s web misses the cleric. And for that mistake, Ramsey pays with a blue blur that charges him from the side, while Luck dodges a sword slash from the Paladin as he dashes to Belli.
In reaching distance of her, Luctan casts Flight on the Bard, in order to give her some distance from the large arachnid.
Angry that she can’t get to Landis, Amelia opts to finish things off with knocking out Jeffrey Ramsey. And that she does in spectacular fashion as each of her blows strikes true and hard on the long range combatant’s body.
True to form, Amelia knocks his ass out, using all her strength, speed and inspiration for this task, right as Mournimar critically wounds and then finishes off one of Ramsey’s spiders. As Ramsey loses consciousness, the other Spider vanishes.
And thus, the two stop the menace that is the Spiders man.
Gagging over the spider doing it’s spidery-death thing aside, Mournimar hears the horn blow. The crowd erupting in cheers and chants as the battle comes to an end. And with it, the Spring Welcoming Tournament!
Celebrations begin as Amelia takes to her sister, before she gets escorted out of the arena with the rest of The Traveling Gentlemen. Luctan has no time to follow them with a gaze as Malak calls for Sammy to wrap himself around the lot of them and bring them into a Celebratory Group Hug, wherein compliments start flying from the refocused Tiefling in disguise.
An announcer joins The Cultbusters in the arena and, using a Thaumaturgical purple rock, declares them the winners, before handing them a golden key, which Mournimar accepts. This. This is the key to their new home.
Someone in the audience goes “Why didn’t you make her a T-Rex again?!” Amelia questions this too, but Belli assures her she just has to ask.
Fireworks blast overhead and Belli uses what time she has left under Luck’s spell to fly about, just overhead Mournimar to be the “taller one”.
As the high from the battle starts to go down, the party are given the address for the ball that will take place later on, which is funny, ‘cause it’s in the arena, ya know? The ball will be this evening and the victors are expected to wear their best wear. Which means, of course... Shopping time!
And shop they do. Right after they visit their new home, of course!
It is an enormous place, fitting for 5 people and guests in mind.
A stoney structure with a wooden fill in set between the rocks.
5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 study rooms, kitchen and a dining area. There is a large greenery in the back that is their yard, perfect for gardening!
Each gets an outfit fitting their style, with the nuance of every party member spending their cut of ther 20,000 gold (4,000 each) in different ways.
Malak hands coin to the people around the area of their new home, near the Crematorium. His kindness brings many a smiles on people’s faces that day.
Belli, with the aid of Ficus, buys and delivers a ton of toys and money to the Orphanage, where she shakes Doreen, the Firbolg, to her knees with the display of kindness. With all this money... all kids will be able to go through school! And if anyone needs anything, Belli would gladly give more. Which brings Doreen to tears.
Santa Belli teaches kids the true meaning of D&D.
Amelia visits a couple of places. Harper’s Treats and later, her favorite flower shop in the city (which for some reason I didn’t write down in this session. Because I am dummy.) And from Lissandra, the Eladrin, she buys one of every baked good in the store. Lissandra’s shooketh.
Mournimar, meanwhile, visits Dyunificus’ Temple and gives a large number of money, much to the awe of a halfling fellow, who winks at the praying tiefling. “Bless yoouuuuuu!”
All the while everyone spends their cash, Luck remains at their new home, in the room he picked for himself. There, he sits, half undressed and staring at the bag of coinage splayed on a fancy chair before him. He sits. And he ponders. Because that’s a lot of money and he has a lot of thoughts going through his fatigued mind.
As the night comes and people gather and enter the Echosmith once more, the party make their arrival. Fancy. As. Fuck.
Archers set up on top, to guard the area in case someone comes to wreck the festivities, the Cultbusters take notice of Idarys from Crystalgate’s Finest, who was placed as the lone guard on door duty.
Looking inside, there’s a grand buffet table and food and drink abound. Anything we can want? It’s there! For the pickings!!!
Aside from Idarys and most members of the Forest Hearted Bretheren, the second of whom opted out due to this fancy-schmancy stuff not being their thing, pretty much everyone is here from the different teams, even Gutrot from Miniature Mayhem! Though, his charges aren’t in sight. Oddly enough.
Ye Olde Ska music catches Belli’s attention and she points out the Kobold band “Less Than Drake” to everyone. Mostly playing horn instruments, there is a drummer among them.
Pete waves at the five from among the crowd, dressed in his finest tux, which makes him look even smaller. His work clothes having some bulk to them, apparently.
Without even saying a word, like their minds are in sync, Amelia and Luck grab large plates of fried chicken and bottles of Alcohol and bring them out to Idarys.
Who. Um. Yeah. “Confiscates” the contraband.
While Belli approaches the Band and Luck searches for Ficus, Malak takes heed of the people that have arrived at the celebration, while having himself a good nom.
Pretty soon Luck finds the Roguish Narah steals him away from Lord Arwen, with whom he had been having a conversation at the time. And then. They dance. With Belli, who convinced the Kobolds, to join them for a performance, using her clout as a Narah, herself.
And the boys dance. Going full Carameldancen on the dancefloor.
While this goes on, Mournimar and Samson meet up and catch up on old times. Samson admits that he hadn’t seen that much action before and after meeting the party and was genuinely glad to see them again. He missed adventuring with the lot of them.
Mournimar, suddenly, asks for a favor. He hands Samson 30 gold to split between himself, Savon and the guild. Which, Samson takes seriously as he writes the instructions on his hand. With blood. Go big or go home, huh?
The tiefling ranger then would help Samson with a request of his own, helping him to find a secluded area where he could just. Chill out from all the noise.Samson winds up on a balcony, where he relaxes and takes a puff from his pipe.
He congratulates Mourni on the win and then... well. Awkward nature lads fuck off to do their own things. Which leads Mournimar to Sabrina.
And Landis.
And they talk about the fight earlier in the day. “Good fight.” Mournimar feels apologetic for bruising Griffin’s ego, but Sabrina waves that off, saying that he needed to be taken down a peg. “You know how men can be!” she jokes. But it flies over the poor tief’s head.
Looking to the dance floor, he tries to add mood lighting for the oblivious Luck and Ficus, but the anti-magic field around them prevents such usage.
Then, in an act of kindness that was not forseen, or maybe it was??? Mournimar hands 1,000 gold to Sabrina and Landis. Which just floors the wizard and Paladin, who admit that they were going to re-enter the tournament the following year.
Asked if he wanted anything in return for this exess of money, Mournimar declines. As it is a gift! To FRIENDS OF THE PARTY!!! Alas, Mourni is not good with handling money, it seemed...
This whole thing prods Amelia to wander over soon enough, extra nervous over the situation at hand. She worries if tieflings are just like that. Handing out money whenever, given Luck’s own track record with giving money out of kindness in the past.
Sabrina is just. Amazed. They could buy a house with this much money. Pay off the schooling. Taking the money, she opts to head home and put it somewhere safe, while Landis follows soon enough after her. Confused and doesn’t know what to do with himself. It’s been a weird few days.
What follows is an... awkward talk. Mournimar tries to apologize for past behavior, not being good with words and general manners... But! But Mournimar wants to do better. By her, by everyone and aplogizes for any trouble caused in the past.
On her end... Amelia speaks as well.
She doesn’t hold it against Mournimar. But she cares a lot, really and is hurt, but “it’s ok” as she puts it.
Mournimar offers to talk with her, if she ever wants to to talk or chat, but Amelia doesn’t seem to easily be reciprocating the comraderie with Mournimar. If anything changes, just let me know.” – Mournimar states. And in turn, Amelia suggests she’s too sober and she’s not in the mood for feelings. Normally any other day she’d be so happy, but it’s been a few days.
Looking about, they do see a variety of alcohols. Top shelf stuff. And Mournimar jokes about the Centaur Moonshine. Amelia, countering of course, that she was on a ship for 9 years. Worrying about her wouldn’t be necessary.
Um. Good talk there.
In the meanwhile, Belli would get herself into shenanigans with the Guards, revolving around Orion, his size and his very presence at the festivities, as animals weren’t allowed.
Half a table. Half of it! Cleared out by the chunky cat familiar. Shock and awe!
Eventually she and Mournimar join up again and play “Hot or Not”, judging the fancy people’s looks. It’s wild.
All the while, Malak keeps an eye out for anyone evil vibey.
He seems some people, who are high off their tits, no one malicious. With the high investigation check, he sees a gentleman, who wasn’t in any of the tournaments. He’s high elven, red haired, clearly getting on a lot in years, though. He gives off very low-key evil vibes. Like in the rich man billionaire evil kinda way. His vibes are fucking rancid, bro. That special kind of evil. You know? I can’t be evil, I give to charity” kinda evil.
Self rightcheous-morally corrupt vibes. His face seems familiar, but he’s unsure from where. He can’t quite recall him, sadly. Dude’s pale and has a tattoo on his ring finger of a snake eating it’s own tail. So maybe he’s a follower of Keemis, as well? Odd that such a person would, however.
He’s talking with Salvador, the Aasimar from the Crystalgate’s Finest.
Luck and Amelia each try to learn first hand from the man.
What Luctan learns is that this man is:
- Ingram Bretannen, one of the vigilants of the guard. Oldest and longest of them. Trained with the captain.
- The guy is bragadocious as fuck.
- People tried taking his money, but that was rumor and heresay. He offers us a job at Lucious Beckett’s. (Pete gave us his card).
- He’s been bullshitting a few of the stories, he’s been in the city for a while, something about the 30 years ago seems dishonest.
And while Luck would go off to find Malak and inform him of what knowledge he had gathered...
Amelia approaches, after talking with Malak as well about the guy, while Mournimar and Belli accidentally commit microaggressions against elven workers.
What she learns is...
- Ingram is high up in the guard. Old, snooty and also has a normal wedding ring, as well as the tattoo of the Keemis ring. In honor of one of his late wives.
- She creeps him out.
- His 3rd wife’s name is Arabella and he has 3 kids. Gilme and twins Luanda and Ellis.
- His sister sails on the “Yellow Tail”.
- This Fuckmothering Shit looks a bit like NEL!
- He totally has had kids out of wedlock, based on his behavior!
(20 minutes of fantasy Billy Mays jokes follow as Belli makes acquaintances with one, Bardy Scott. Lauren kills us with laughter. It’s. It’s so good, ok?! You had to be there.)
Still on the search for Malak, who had already left for the Keemis Temple, Luctan winds up being passed by The Traveling Gentlefolk.Which he only really notices after getting patted on the shoulder by a passing Landis, arm in arm with Sabrina and the money.
He gets the feeling, from this gesture, that Landis was being friendly.
And as he watches them go... Luctan feels himself in turmoil...
As the night and festivities carry on, the four remaining decide to crash the night at Nel’s place. But before that, they agree to go over to the temple and bring Malak with them. He is, after all, a Cultbuster.
Small talk is had along the way over getting the cats kitty toys and bonding is had over the whole thing.
All the while Malak would talk with Mother Destine, discussing the man he was unnerved by at the familiar looking elven man (WHO IS DEFINITELY NOT NEL’S DAD! NO SIREE, BOB!)
After a short discussion (I really wish I could record the sessions for better summaries ; u ;;;; ), Malak walks out of the temple and is greeted by the party, happily taking them up on their offer to head to Nel’s.
Seriously. We need so much Guidance as a party. it’s ridicilous.
Nel welcomes the party, in pajamas. The good kind. Silk and pink. She’s got class, damn it! She congratulates the five on the achievement and she even made sweets for the occasion!
Zone Of Truth shenanigans happen after Nel jokes about being with Belli’s dad.
“Did you fuck my dad, Nel?!”
She didn’t, of course.
And then... wlel, the bombshell not so much drops, as it reaches the final stage of the explosion as Amelia admits to the rest of the party that she is retiring from her adventuring life.
After everything they had been through, Amelia was in a different place as a person. She had Archie. She had Nelatha? And now? Now she had even her sister back!
The party takes this in their own way. With Belli being the most vocal one as she enters a panic mode over how to break the news to the animals. With Morgan vibing at the new mannor the party have, what are they to do with this info?!
Amelia is certain in her decision. And though Luctan keeps quiet and focuses as much of a brave face as he can, on the inside it’s a whole different story.
All this and there is so much work to do too.
Jobs from River and Pete. A revisit to Lake Stren? Going back to Menum to see if anything can be done for Luck’s body?!.
Luck’s body... Oh, now there was a story that needed more elaboration, eh?
As though on a whim, maybe more to it, of course, Luck removed the ring from his right middle finger and his form would change into his true body. And the glamour he had put his festive suit under faded, showing the deep gold color, instead of the fresh mint vibe that was there for hours on end.
He does so. and elaborates as much as he can brave to Malak and Nel. Why the ring. Why the vendetta. Why the everything that he can tell them, except what he had confided in Amelia.
And as the revelation of Luck’s appearance hits the last two members of the party, the new Malak and the honorary Nelatha, this episode comes to an end...

🌾🌸 for trinity and hamish
these are literally the most difficult out of that list for me to answer i can’t believe you’ve done this i’ve literally been staring at this for like. days now because i don’t know how to answer this shit
🌾 Describe your OC through the eyes of someone absolutely head-over-heels in love with them
Calypso rushes to the phone as Trinity reads the question aloud. “Oh oh I got this one! She’s strong and fearless and...”
“I am not!”
“Okay fine, there was ONE time with a spider in the shower- She’s an incredibly talented cook-”
“Yeah, if you count microwave meals as cooking.” Orion butts in.
“Jerk.” Trinity retorts.
“Shhhh! She’s also got an incredible fashion sense, like, if you imagine... I don’t know. An otter wearing a scarf, it’s like that.”
“That doesn’t even make sense.”
“An otter could be fashionable! And that’s what you are. An otter wearing a scarf.” Calypso speaks as she pulls Trinity closer, giving her a kiss on the forehead.
---
“Describe...Hamish. Hm.” Elliot mumbles to himself, leaning back in the bathtub with his glass of wine. “Hey Luther, how’d you describe Hamish?”
“A big loaf that couldn’t tell his head from his feet?”
“Well, fair enough, but... Not quite what I was looking for.” Elliot pauses, taking a sip of his drink as he thinks. “He’s wrapped up with potential for good things. He’s handsome, despite his hair looking like a bird’s nest eighty percent of the time. I swear, someday I’m going to let him borrow my hair product collection.” There’s another pause before he continues. “..He’s smarter than he may think, or hell, than he acts. I just wish he’d take a moment to acknowledge that and let others see it how I do.”
🌸 What are some of their favorite things and why? List as many as you can think of!
“The sound of crunchy leaves in the fall, it reminds me of walks with my grandma when I was little. Key lime pie - don’t know why, someone’s mom brought it to class when I was like.. 13? And I’ve really liked it ever since. Fresh baked brownies, or hell, any baked goods. Walking into Callie’s bakery is my favorite thing, especially in the morning while I’m having my coffee.” “Aww.” Calypso smiles, leaning against her shoulder as Trinity continues. “I mean it! Hm... I really like Pokémon, does that count? I’ve been playing it since I was a kid, it just has a special place in my heart. And like.. as weird as it might sound, the smell of antique shops. Or like... yard sales. My grandma loved both of those, and I went with her every time. You can get some really neat stuff around there!”
---
Hamish stares at the question for a good five minutes before answering. “The smell after it rains.. because...uh... It’s nice? I’m quite fond of zoos, you can learn quite a bit there. ..Speaking of, my favorite animal is the grizzly bear. I just like the fact they’re rather round.” He nods to himself before continuing. “Favorite food... I quite like strawberry shortcake, strawberries in general are nice. ..Do I really have to give a reason for every answer? My favorite flower is the dandelion, it grows despite everything standing in its way. Sunflowers are also rather nice, they always face the bright side, heh. Favorite color is.. Hm. I’d say teal? It’s a good mix between blues and greens - also excellent color palettes.”

Transformers: Superlink References I Noticed
Most Trans-fans watch Transformers: Armada and Energon and see them as a completely different universe with little to no G1 references (and some Star Trek, Star Wars, and Pokémon references peppered into the trilogy), besides seeing them as some of the worst Transformers media; I saw Transformers: Micron Legend and Superlink that have a lot of G1 references, as well as being some of the most underrated and underappreciated Transformers media.
Superlink, especially, have many references from The Transformers: The Movie (1986) as well as parts of the original series, including Season 3, and a few callbacks from its predecessor, Micron Legend (Superlink is its sequel, after all).
The following G1 movie references I saw from Superlink include:
- The show brought back original characters from Micron Legend (including Ironhide, Sandstorm, and Shockwave), and then killed them off before even half-way into the series
- Megatron comes back as Galvatron; with not only a new body (which is a huge callout from the 1986 movie), but a different voice actor/seiyuu, as well
- Some of the original characters (especially Sandstorm, Ironhide, and Shockwave) were reformatted via Unicron’s power into completely different characters that are not as memorable
- Rodimus Prime (called Rodimus Convoy) makes an appearance, even though this Rodimus was not originally Hot Rod
- Springer (called Sprung in Superlink; which means the same thing) also makes an appearance
- A few scenes featuring Rodimus and Galvatron fighting each other is quite a big reference to the final battle in the 1986 film
- My least favorite Transformer: A Quintesson (Alpha Q)
- The animation is different than it was in Micron Legend; much like how the animation for The Transformers (1984-1987) was animated by Toei Animation, while the 1986 movie was animated by AKOM (and its style is a little different, as well)
- A completely different soundtrack specifically for the anime is used without reusing the Micron Legend soundtrack
- While songs like “The Touch,” “Dare,” and “Instruments Of Destruction” played at least once in The Transformers: The Movie, the intro and outro songs (“Taiyo no Transform” and “Calling You,” respectively) featured during certain episodes, especially in epic moments featuring fight scenes
- Not only is Kicker Jones a reference to Daniel Witwicky (a young tagalong human who is friends with the Autobots), he is also a composite character with G1 Hot Rod by behavior/attitude (he is quite impulsive, and wants his friends to not give up and fight for what is right)
- The female Transformer, Ariel, is a reference to G1 Arcee, since there was already an Arcee in Micron Legend
- There is a really fast Autobot; for Generation One, it is Blurr, and not only does he go fast, he even talks fast, as well; for Superlink, it is Wing Saber, who is quite an energetic Transformer to begin with (Episodes 26, 28, and the TV special are some well-known examples displaying his speed)
- Unicron looks a little more like his G1 counterpart than he did in Micron Legend
- Both the 1986 film and Superlink have their dark and silly moments, including beloved characters being killed off and Unicron causing destruction, and some slapstick moments regarding the Transformers
There are also some references from the original G1 TV show, as well:
- In both the G1 show and Superlink, an Autobot was killed off, and was reformatted into another, yet very similar, Autobot that is more well-known to many Trans-fans; respectively, they are Orion Pax (now Optimus Prime) and Wing Dagger (now Wing Saber); coincidently, both of their voice actors also voiced Ironhide (both Optimus Prime and Ironhide were voice by Peter Cullen in Generation One; Wing Saber and Ironhide were voiced by Koji Yusa in the original Unicron Trilogy)
- The G1 transformation sound effect is in the show!
- Many Transformers are based on their G1 counterparts, including Inferno, Wheeljack, Skyfire (almost), Omega Supreme, and Lazerwave (his G1 counterpart is called Shockwave, but since there is already a Shockwave in the Unicron Trilogy, the Decepticon’s name is Lazerwave, much like his Japanese version)
- Although they are not the same character, Superlink’s Red Alert and G1 Mirage share a very similar alt-mode, which is a blue Formula One race car
- The Shadowhawk Terrocons almost resemble G1 Lazerbeak; the Command Jaguar Terrocons resemble G1 Ravage; and the therapod Terrocons are called Dinobots (although, some may say they are a reference to Beast Wars’ Dinobot)
- The combiners made appearances in the show, including Buildron (a reference to G1 Devastator, but since there was already a Devastator in Micron Legend, the Decepticon combiner is called Buildron), Bruticus (whose individual combiners even kept their G1 names), and Superion (an Autobot combiner); there are also a few moments with Superion and Omega Supreme, as well, much like in Generation One
- One word: Energon (except, in G1, it is Energon Cubes; Superlink has Energon Stars)
However, being a Mecha anime show, Superlink also has references to other Mecha shows, including Voltron (as well as Beast King Golion and Armored Fleet Dairugger XV, due to the Grand Force (Prime Force) serving as Optimus Prime’s (or Grand Convoy) arms and legs), Gundam, and even the Brave Saga (including Brave Police J-Decker, in which I am also watching). The Brave Saga, in particular, are referenced in Superlink, including the following:
- Once the Transformers Superlinked (combined) with one another, we see close-ups of their combining sequence, they call out their forms, strike a pose, and then the battle begins; special mention goes to Optimus Prime/Grand Convoy, with his Super Mode/Hyper Mode (with the Grand Force), Wing Convoy mode (with Wing Saber), and Omega Convoy mode (with Omega Supreme)
- While the Transformers shout, “TRANSFORM!” the Brave robots shout, “CHANGE!” once they transform into their vehicle mode or robot mode
- Both the Transformers and the Brave robots are emotive, and have had many humanized moments, as well
- Since the Transformers and the Brave robots are sentient and can talk, they also have different personalities that makes them what they are as characters
- Both Transformers and the Brave robots have a human companion who fights alongside them
- Both franchises have their awesome, funny, heartwarming, terrifying, and heartbreaking moments that makes their target audiences attached to their works
I could list more references and callbacks that I noticed in Transformers: Superlink, but I will leave it at that, and maybe you can also find references in the show, as well.
Also, as I have mentioned, I am currently watching Brave Police J-Decker, and I have completed 12 episodes, so far; the robots are very similar to Transformers, it has their awesome, funny and heartbreaking moments that motivate me even more to continue the series until the grand finale, and I already got a favorite character since Episode 1, Deckerd, the main Brave Police robot, and the main human character’s companion; and a really cool vehicle mode (also, I discovered another really underrated seiyuu, Toru Furusawa; he also made a brief appearance in Transformers, but he is mostly well-known in the Brave Saga; in fact, he is so underrated that DeviantArt does not have a single stamp or fan art based on him (at least not yet); so, for any anime and seiyuu fans, I would suggest giving this voice actor more recognition, as well).
That is all I will be saying for now. Stay tuned for more posts.
This is FirebirdTransAm68 signing out.

Could not remember dream.

I only could remember a non-existent Portal 2 level with moving platforms and a 3rd person playing style (I believe), Something about Critical Role, which I remember banging my hand down on my dresser, mad about something related to Orion Abaca (I believe), something similar to Lego Indiana Jones, with a androgynous kid-side kick who looked to be of either Hindu or Latin American descent, and a bonus level thing where the two players were Bionicles with a puzzle minigame, which consisted of jumping on a button and trying to jump up ramps, two exploits existed: one where you could just repeatedly jump on the button in two-player and let your friend do it, and another where you could just double jump nesr the end portal, rather than going up the final ramp, and a cartoon clown robot trying to sabatoge a carnival in Lego City. The clown was 2d, had a robotic hand, that could morph into several different blades or utensils, while the Lego-People were human-height minifigures and were 3d. It jumped to a Lego City ad-esque firefighting scene where a building was coated in a special ghost (I believe) flame. A special squadron of Lego Minifigure ghost (I believe) firefighters came in and put out the flame. I'm pretty sure the robot level came before the Indiana Jones level, but I'm not certain. I also remember saying "huh, that worked" to the bionicle game. Chaotic DS game/Bionicle GBA game-level graphics for the bionicle game.
