†Version 8.0 Fleuralia Save File â€
Download link down below (please read entire post before installing)
This save file uses all EPâs, GPâs, SPâs and most of the kits (Except Sweet Slumber Party, Cozy Kitsch, Urban Homage, Goth Galore, Grunge Revival, Carnaval Streetwear and Modern Menswear kits).
Whatâs new in this update?:
Ciudad Enamorada and Ravenwood have been completely redone, added multiple new lots, updated other lots and provided make-overs for the households.
Added new households (when living in world; with jobs, friends, preferences etc).
Current Status of Worlds:
Finished worlds: Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, Newcrest, Magnolia Promenade, Windenburg, San Myshuno, Forgotten Hollow, Brindleton Bay, Del Sol Valley, StrangerVille, Glimmerbrook, Sulani, Britechester , Evergreen Harbor, Mt. Komorebi, Henford-on-Bagley, Tartosa, Moonwood Mill, Copperdale, San Sequoia, Chestnut Ridge, Tomarang, Ciudad Enamorada (NEW!) and Ravenwood (NEW!).
Finished vacation worlds: Granite Falls and Selvadorada.
Finihed other lots: Hospital, Science Lab and the Police Station.
To be updated: the Magic Realm and Grimm's office, will either be included in a future update or on the gallery (OriginID: fleuralia)
What do you get with this save?:
For my save file all lots are either completely new builds (almost all) or renovations, ofcourse created by me. Exception: I have added the official build for the release of the Paranormal SP by Dr Ashley to this save. This build is therefore not my own creation, credits are given in the description to Dr Ashley. The lots in newer worlds are largely created by GameChangers. The ratio is around 50/50 with my builds versus renovations (done by me but with the original as the base).
All the townies had make-overs plus I added new families to spice it up a bit. Some of the townies are made by other creators, who are given credits in the description of the household. All the townies in the different worlds have a story, some include sentiments and adjusted relationships to the story.
Added plenty of community lots to give your Sims something to do (YAY!). Almost every world has one restaurant, but it also includes festivals that represent the four seasons (park lots) and a fully functional shopping street in Magnolia Promenade (toy store, bridal store and more).
I have added rental lots so you can go on vacation in more worlds. For example in Sulani, Willow Creek and Windenburg.
Other details:
As mentioned at the beginning, this save uses almost all packs (except some kits). This means that if you download it without owning or installing most of the packs a lot of objects will disappear from the save, but if you are not bothered by this you can still download and play in it. Â
I disabled the neigborhood action plan voting/environmental changes, you enable them again in the pack settings menu. I also disabled the neigborhood stories, you can enable them again in the household menu.
I would love to add some households in this save created by all of you! Add your household under the hashtag #fleuraliatownies in The Sims 4 Gallery, you can add a storyline and world in the description but thats not obligatory. If I respond on your creation it means that I have incorporated it in the save for the next update.
Sadly every game update comes with a lot of bugs. I suggest before reporting problems in the save to me, to check on forums if its related to a general bug/glitch or to mods (if you use them).
Questions and supportive feedback are always welcome, you can reach me here via a comment on this post, an ask or through a DM đ
As said in my previous post I will be slowly starting on moving the builds and sims to a fresh save to help with bugs and incorporate fixes from the Sims team that only work in fresh saves (like Grimm not being able to woohoo). But this will take me some time, when its nearly done I will update on here as always.
How to make it work in your game:
Download the save file from the link below.
Drag it in your saves folder under: PC/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves.
Change the numbers if you already have a save with the same name.
It should now show up in your game as: Fleuralia Save V 8.0.
DOWNLOAD (SFS) / Alternate (GD)
!!Donât re-upload or claim as your own!!
Future updates will follow after each pack release (if it includes a world). The time the update will be uploaded after each release depends on how much I have to change and on my work schedule around that time.
Last but not least, enjoy and till next time! XX

â Masterlist | Aspen's Ask Box | Field Guide to the Forest
Normal breathing, you thought to yourself as the driver pulled up the drive of the massive estate of Alexander Pierce, one of the senior partners of the law firm where you worked. This was your first time attending the firmâs New Yearâs Eve party since youâd only begun working for Bucky in the early spring, and although you were only Buckyâs assistant, you had heard enough directly and indirectly to know that making an appearance here mattered. Bucky had insisted that you didnât need to feel obligated to come â especially since heâd kept you away from your family over Christmas when the weather had made it impossible to fly home from the business trip to Norway. He had even insisted on paying for flights for you to go straight home instead of making the long drive to your hometown.
What he didnât know was that you had called and changed your return flight from January 2 to December 31.
Bucky was close to making partner, and you wanted to show that you were one of the small but dedicated team he had in his office that took their work supporting Bucky seriously.
And while being home for some delayed holiday time with your family had been nice, the longer you were there, the more you were itching to get back to New York and figure out what life was going to look like with your boss post-Norway.
Five days of normal business followed by the three âstrandedâ days of Nordic adventures, shopping, sightseeing, dining, spoiling, and so much sex. So much sex.
With Bucky.
Your boss.
A valet stepped up to open your door as the Uber driver stopped in the circular receiving area of the driveway at the front of the mansion. As you stepped out and began walking up the steps, you were glad you went with the modest heels rather than the strappy high heels your best friend had tried to coax you to pick when you FaceTimed her while getting ready. Since you were nervous about enough other things, you didnât need to worry about your shoes tonight.
Things like the bolder shade of lipstick youâd put on, or the sexiest dress youâd ever worn, or simply the fact that you didnât know where everything that happened in Norway left you with Bucky Barnes.
Minor things to trifle over, really.
You gave your name to an attendant at the front. They scanned the list, smiled, welcomed you to the festivities, and gestured toward the staff taking care of a coat check just inside, off to the right of the grand foyer.
You gave your name to an attendant at the front. They scanned the list, smiled, welcomed you to the festivities, and gestured toward the staff taking care of a coat check just inside, off to the right of the grand foyer.
As you approached the coat check, you couldn't help but marvel at the opulence surrounding you. The foyer was a masterpiece of marble and gold, with a grand staircase sweeping upwards and crystal chandeliers twinkling overhead. You were enveloped by a pleasantly thick scent of gardenias and champagne, mingling with the soft murmur of conversation and tinkling laughter from the rooms beyond.
You slipped off your coat, revealing the dress you'd agonized over for hours. It was a deep emerald green, hugging your curves before falling in a silky waterfall to your ankles. The neckline dipped low, and the back was even lower, leaving you feeling both sophisticated and slightly exposed.
The attendant handed you a small golden ticket in exchange for your coat, and you tucked it carefully into your clutch. You took a deep breath, steeling yourself for the evening ahead. The butterflies in your stomach were performing an intricate ballet, a mix of excitement and nerves that left you feeling slightly lightheaded.
As you turned to face the grand ballroom, you were immediately enveloped by the soft glow of candlelight and the gentle tinkling of champagne glasses. The room was a vision of elegance, with towering floral arrangements adorning every table and shimmering gold accents catching the light. The air was filled with the gentle hum of conversation and laughter, the tinkling of champagne flutes, and the soft strains of a live orchestra.
You took a tentative step forward, your eyes scanning the crowd for a familiar face. The sea of designer gowns and tailored suits was intimidating, and you found yourself second-guessing your decision to attend. Just as you were considering a hasty retreat, a warm, familiar voice called your name.
"Hey there, stranger! I was hoping you'd make it tonight."
You turned to see Steve Rogers, Bucky's best friend and fellow lawyer at the firm. He approached, moving with a swift grace as he always did, his broad shoulders filling out an impeccably tailored navy suit, a glass of champagne in each hand. Heâd be intimidating if you hadnât forged a wonderfully warm friendship over the past months working in the office. You admired how much he wanted to take care of those around him, unafraid to speak up whenever needed, and equally ready to make someone smile.
Even now, the tension in your shoulders eased at the sight of him and his bright smile.
âBucky will be happy to see you!â
You ducked your head a moment, taking a sip of the champagne he offered. âHe will?â
âI donât think he could tie his shoes anymore without you,â Steve exaggerated, but the compliment warmed your insides anyway.
Steve offered you his arm and then led you further into the party.
Your senses were overwhelmed by the sheer grandeur of the event. Everywhere you looked, your eyes drank in more exquisite details infusing the atmosphere. You passed by a magnificent ice sculpture of the firm's logo, its edges glinting in the candlelight. You passed by tables laden with delicacies from around the world - tiny caviar-topped blinis, glistening oysters nestled in beds of ice, and delicate pastries that looked almost too beautiful to eat. Waiters in crisp white jackets glided effortlessly through the crowd, their trays balanced with flutes of golden champagne and jewel-toned cocktails.
You couldn't help but feel a bit like Alice tumbling down the rabbit hole. Each new sight was more wondrous than the last. To your left, a living statue covered in shimmering gold paint posed gracefully atop a pedestal, her movements so subtle you had to blink to be sure she was real. To your right, an aerialist in a glittering silver bodysuit performed breathtaking feats on silks suspended from the vaulted ceiling, twirling and spinning in mesmerizing patterns.
Near them, a group of women in shimmering gowns laughed melodiously, their jewelry catching the light with every gesture. You nodded politely at a few familiar faces from the office, but your attention was divided, always seeking. You noticed Alexander Pierce himself holding court near a grand fireplace, his silver hair gleaming as he regaled a captive audience with what was surely a riveting anecdote.
As you and Steve wove through the crowd, your eyes continued to roam, searching for one face in particular. The anticipation built with each passing moment, your heart quickening its pace. You nodded politely at a few familiar faces from the office, but your attention was divided, always seeking.
Then, as if drawn by an invisible thread, your gaze was pulled across the room to finally land on Bucky Barnes, looking devastatingly handsome in a perfectly tailored black tuxedo. His dark hair was newly trimmed since you last saw him, sleek in a way that made your fingers itch to rake through it and over his scalp. He was engaged in conversation with a small group, his head thrown back in laughter at something someone had said.
Suddenly, Bucky's attention shifted to you, his eyes locking onto yours across the bustling room. The laughter died on his lips, replaced with a bit of wonder and an impossibly charming grin. Immediately heat was pooling in your stomach, nerves somewhat calmed, but a different itch pitching inside you.
The world seemed to slow down as Bucky excused himself from his group and began making his way towards you. Your breath caught in your throat as you watched him approach, his eyes never leaving yours. The crowded room seemed to part for him, or perhaps it was just your imagination playing tricks on you.
As he drew closer, you could see the slight widening of his eyes as he took in your appearance. His gaze traveled slowly from your face down to your toes and back up again, lingering on the curves accentuated by your dress. When his eyes met yours again, they were dark with an intensity that made your skin tingle and memories of your time in Norway together flash vividly through your mind.
"You're here," Bucky said softly as he reached you, his voice a low rumble that sent shivers down your spine. "I thought you were still with your family."
You smiled, trying to keep your voice steady. "I wanted to surprise you. I hope that's okay?"
"More than okay," he murmured, his eyes still roaming over you appreciatively. "You look absolutely stunning."
You felt a blush creep up your cheeks at his compliment. "Thank you. You clean up pretty well yourself," you replied, taking in his impeccably tailored tuxedo.
Steve cleared his throat beside you, reminding you both of his presence. "I'll leave you two to catch up," he said with a knowing smile, giving Bucky a pat on the shoulder before disappearing into the crowd.
Suddenly alone with Bucky, you felt the air between you crackle with tension. The noise of the party faded into the background as you stood there, lost in each other's gaze.
"Can I get you a drink?" Bucky asked, gesturing towards the bar.
You lifted your half-empty champagne flute. "I could use a refill," you said with a smile.
Bucky's hand found the small of your back as he guided you towards the bar, the possessive heat of his touch sending flames radiating across your skin. You were acutely aware of every point of contact between you, rejoicing and regretting over choosing the dangerously low and exposed back that allowed him skin to skin access in this moment.
As you waited for your drinks, Bucky leaned in close, his breath warm against your ear. "I can't believe you're here," he murmured, his voice low and intimate. "Since Norway, youâve been on my mind constantly.
Your heart raced at his words, memories of passionate nights, morning, afternoons, and so many stolen kisses streaming through your mind. "I couldn't stay away," you admitted softly. "I needed to see you."
Bucky's eyes darkened with desire, his gaze dropping to your lips. For a moment, you thought Bucky might kiss you right there, in full view of everyone. But he seemed to catch himself, remembering where you were. Instead, he reached past you to collect your drinks from the bartender - a flute of golden champagne for you and a tumbler of amber whiskey for himself.
"Come with me," he murmured, his voice husky and filled with promise. His hand found yours, fingers intertwining as he led you away from the crowded ballroom.
Your heart raced as you followed him down a dimly lit corridor, the sounds of the party fading behind you. Moonlight streamed through tall windows, casting long shadows across the polished marble floor. His fingers tightened around yours as he glanced back, a roguish glint in his eyes.
At the end of the hall, he paused before an ornate wooden door. With a quick look around, he turned the handle and drew you inside. You found yourself in a luxurious study, shelves of leather-bound books lining the walls and a grand desk dominating the center of the room.
Bucky took your glass and his and set them on the desk. Then his strong arms encircled your waist and drew you to him. "We shouldn't be in here," you whispered, even as excitement coursed through your veins.
"Shh," he replied, pulling you closer. His lips found yours in a searing kiss that made your knees weak. You melted against him, hands roaming over the broad planes of his shoulders.
As Bucky's lips moved against yours, all thoughts of propriety and caution melted away. Your hands slid down his chest, fingers curling into the lapels of his tuxedo jacket as you pulled him closer. The kiss deepened, pent-up longing and desire pouring out between you.
Bucky's hands roamed your back, tracing the exposed skin left bare by your daring dress. And the way he touched you? Reverently worshipping the curves and plump flesh you were usually so insecure about? This was why you dared to show more than you typically did. He made you believe you were gorgeous. His touch ignited sparks along your spine, each caress stoking the fire building within you. You gasped as he nipped at your lower lip, using the opportunity to sweep his tongue into your mouth.
The taste of whiskey on his lips mingled with the lingering champagne on yours, creating an intoxicating blend that left you dizzy with want. You pressed yourself closer, desperate to eliminate any space between your bodies. He slipped a finger beneath the strap on your shoulder and pushed it down, tugging until he freed one of your breasts. He hummed as he began to palm it with his large hand, and you arched into his touch.
Suddenly, Bucky broke the kiss, and spun you around. You gasped and brought both hands out to steady yourself on the edge of the desk.
Bucky's lips traced a burning path down the curve of your neck, pausing to nip gently at the sensitive spot where it met your shoulder. You shivered as his warm breath ghosted across your skin, goosebumps rising in its wake. His kisses continued their southward journey, open-mouthed heat following the elegant line of your spine.
Each press of his lips felt like a spark igniting your nerve endings. The cool air of the study contrasted sharply with the heat of his mouth, creating a delicious tension that had you trembling. As he moved lower, his hands skimmed down your sides, fingers tracing the curves of your waist and hips with reverent appreciation.
As Bucky sank to his knees behind you, his hands slid down to your hips, his breath now teasing the small of your back. The anticipation built, your heart racing as you felt him gather the silky fabric of your dress in his hands, lifting it inch by tantalizing inch. The whisper of the material against your skin was electric, heightening every sensation. When he reached your hips, he paused, his fingers tracing the lace edge of your panties.
"You're exquisite," he murmured, his voice rough with desire.
Slowly, reverently, he began to peel your panties down. The delicate lace clung to your curves before giving way, sliding down your thighs.
You shivered as the cool air hit your exposed skin, a mix of anticipation and nervousness coursing through you. Bucky's hands caressed your thighs, urging them apart, his touch both soothing and electrifying. You could feel his hot breath against your most intimate areas, causing a fresh wave of arousal to wash over you.
"God, I've missed you," Bucky groaned, his voice husky with desire. "Missed tasting you."
Without further preamble, he leaned in and ran his tongue along your slit, eliciting a gasp from you. Your fingers gripped the edge of the desk tighter as he began to explore you with his mouth, his skilled tongue alternating between long, languid strokes and quick, teasing flicks.
You bit your lip to stifle a moan, acutely aware of the party continuing just down the hall. One of his hands snaked around to caress your breast, rolling your nipple between his fingers. The dual sensations had you panting, struggling to keep quiet as waves of pleasure washed over you. The thought of being caught only added to the intensity of sensations swirling through your body.
Bucky's tongue worked magic between your thighs, alternating between broad strokes and focused attention on your most sensitive spots. Your legs trembled as the pleasure built, threatening to overwhelm you. You bit down on your lip, desperately trying to muffle the moans that threatened to escape.
"Let me hear you, plum," Bucky murmured against your heated flesh. "I want to know how good I'm making you feel."
His words sent a shiver through you, and you allowed a soft whimper to escape.
Encouraged, Bucky redoubled his efforts, his tongue circling your clit with increasing pressure. One of his hands slid up your inner thigh, and you gasped as he slowly pushed two fingers inside you.
The dual sensations of his tongue on your clit and his fingers curling inside you had you seeing stars. Your hips began to move of their own accord, grinding against his face as you chased your release. The coil of tension in your core wound tighter and tighter, ready to snap at any moment.
Just as you were about to tumble over the precipice, the sound of approaching voices in the hallway made you freeze. Panic mingled with arousal as you realized how exposed you were, bent over the desk of what had to be Alexander Pierceâs private study.
But Bucky was undeterred, and you bit your lip to stifle your moans, acutely aware that you were in a semi-public space. The thought of getting caught only added to the thrill, your arousal only surging more, lapped up by his wicked tongue. He worshipped at the altar of your sex with so much devotion, you werenât quite ready to think about the implications of yet.
Bucky's fingers curled inside you, hitting that perfect spot that made your toes curl. His tongue continued its relentless assault on your clit, and you could feel yourself teetering on the edge of ecstasy. The voices in the hallway grew closer, and your heart pounded with a mixture of fear and exhilaration.
"Bucky," you whispered urgently, your voice trembling. "Someone's coming."
He hummed against you, the vibrations sending shockwaves through your body. "Then you better come first," he murmured, his voice muffled but determined.
The voices in the hallway grew louder, and you could make out snippets of conversation about quarterly reports and market projections. Your heart raced, torn between the need for release and the fear of discovery.
Bucky, however, seemed to relish the added excitement. His ministrations became more intense, his tongue flicking rapidly against your sensitive bud while his fingers curled inside you, hitting that perfect spot with each thrust. The combination of pleasure and danger pushed you closer to the edge.
"Come for me," Bucky whispered against your heated flesh, his breath sending shivers through your body. "Let go, plum. I've got you."
His words were your undoing. The tension that had been building inside you finally snapped, and you came with a silent scream, your body shuddering as waves of pleasure washed over you. Bucky's mouth and fingers worked you through your orgasm. Your legs trembled as the aftershocks of your orgasm rippled through you. Bucky's touch gentled, his fingers slipping out of you as he pressed soft kisses to your inner thighs. The voices in the hallway faded, moving past the study door without pause.
With shaky hands, you pushed yourself up from the desk, your breath still coming in quick passes. Bucky helped drop the fabric of your dress back down to the floor and rose to his feet behind you. He turned you back around to face him and brought you back into his arms. You could feel the hard line of his arousal pressing against you, but he seemed unconcerned over seeking his own relief.
"You're incredible," he murmured, his lips brushing your forehead. "So beautiful when you come undone for me."
He dipped down and pressed a kiss to the swell of your still exposed breast before then bringing your dress back up and over your shoulder, setting it completely right again.
Your hands slid up to loop around his neck. His eyes were dark with desire, his lips slightly swollen from his ministrations.
"That wasâŠ" you trailed off, unable to find the right words.
"Amazing," Bucky finished for you. He leaned in, capturing your lips in a tender kiss. You could taste yourself on his tongue, and it sent a fresh wave of arousal through you.
But before either of you could be tempted into anything else, the voices in the hall returned.
"I'm telling you, Alexander, the Ultron account is a goldmine waiting to happen," a booming voice declared footsteps drew closer.
Bucky quickly reached for the drinks on the desk, pressing your champagne flute into your fingers. The he dipped to the floor, snatched up your panties, and pocketed them. You bit your lip, and he smirked at you.
"I appreciate your enthusiasm, Wilson, but I'm not convinced the risk is worth the potential reward," came Alexander Pierce's measured reply as the door opened.
"Barnes! There you are," Alexander Pierce's voice boomed as he entered the study, followed by two other senior partners. "We've been looking for you."
Your heart was pounding so loudly you were sure everyone could hear it.
Bucky turned, his body language relaxed and confident despite almost being caught in a compromising position.
"Mr. Pierce," Bucky greeted smoothly, his voice betraying none of the tension you felt. "I was just showing my assistant the impressive library you have here. We both share a passion for rare first editions."
You nodded. "It's truly remarkable," you managed, proud of how steady your voice sounded.
Pierce's eyes narrowed slightly as he looked between you and Bucky, but his expression remained neutral. "Indeed it is," he said, moving towards one of the bookshelves. His hand swept over one of the shelves. "I'm particularly fond of this Hemingway collection. However, Iâm afraid I canât entertain you with its history and how I had to hunt them down presently. Iâm actually glad we found you, Barnes. We have some urgent matters to discuss regarding the Stark Industries merger. Iâd like to bring you in on it, if youâre game."
"Of course, sir,â Bucky nodded, his professional mask slipping for only the briefest of moments, but you saw the excitement there for the opportunity presented.
"Excellent," Pierce said, clapping his hands together. "Gentlemen, have a seat." He turned to you, his smile polite but dismissive. "Thank you for your interest in the collection, and, please, enjoy the rest of the party."
You nodded, understanding the clear directive. "Of course, Mr. Pierce. Thank you for your hospitality."
As you moved to leave, Bucky caught your eye. His gaze was intense, filled with unspoken promises. "I'll find you," he mouthed silently, a small smirk playing at the corner of his lips.
You felt a shiver run down your spine as you slipped out of the study, leaving Bucky to his impromptu meeting. Your mind was reeling from the events of the last few minutes - the passionate encounter with Bucky, the near-miss of being caught. Mostly, though, you were happy you had come after all and were eager to spend the rest of the evening with Bucky. At a party like this where business and pleasure stood side by side, you knew the host couldnât be gone in his study for long, and then Bucky would return to your side, and youâd be able to ring in the New Year just right.

⯠PRACTICE MAKES IT BETTER ; theodore nott
PAIRING! theodore nott x fem!reader

WORD COUNT! 2.3k
WARNINGS AND TAGS! fluff, kissing + lmk !
NOTES! reblogs and comments are greatly appreciated :)
HARRY POTTER MASTERLIST!
AMERICA WAS VIBRANT AND DIVERSE. The music scene was thriving with genres like grunge, hip-hop, and pop dominating the airwaves. To you, it was a place of contrasts and boundless possibilities. It was a land where towering skyscrapers stood next to historic buildings, and where you could find everything from bustling cities to quiet, open countryside. The diversity was striking; every state feels like its own little world, with different cultures, foods, and ways of life. It was a country where you could experience all four seasons, with hot summers, cold winters, and vibrant springs and autumns. The sheer size and variety made it feel like there was always something new to explore, whether it was a national park, a music festival, or just a quirky little town.
Then you moved to England.
Leaving behind the familiar sights and sounds of America, you stepped into a new world of magic and centuries-old traditions.
The first thing you noticed was the climate change. England's weather was full of frequent rain and cloudy skies. You had to get used to bringing an umbrella everywhere with you.
Hogwarts in Scotland was completely different from Ilvermorny, which resided on Mount Greylock. The towering buildings of the castle intimidated you a bit as you were used to the more modern school, but you were excited for the change of scenery.
The stone corridors, moving staircases, and enchanted portraits had captivated your imagination. The castle itself was full of new discoveries. Sure, you missed your old friends dearly, every one of them, but the owls worked hard and you managed to make new friends here.
As an exchange student from America, walking the hallowed halls of Hogwarts was a totally new experience. The ancient castle with its sprawling grounds, enchanted staircases, and hidden passageways was like stepping into a dream. But it wasn't just the magical environment that threw you off balance; it was the British slang that seemed to pop up in every conversation.
During your first week, you found yourself constantly bewildered by the new expressions. At breakfast, when a cheerful Hufflepuff asked if you wanted a "banger" with your eggs, you hesitated, unsure if it was an insult or a menu item. When a Ravenclaw mentioned being "knackered" after a long night of studying, you had to suppress a laugh, thinking it sounded more like a sound effect from a comic book than an expression of exhaustion.
The confusion was endless: "snogging" instead of kissing, "knickers" instead of underwear, "blimey" instead of a simple exclamation of surprise. You did your best to keep up, but the nuances of the language often left you feeling like you were missing the punchline of a joke. To put it simply, you were lost.
One afternoon, you were sitting in the library, poring over a stack of books for a Transfiguration assignment, when you heard a familiar voice behind you.
"Ciao, piccola," Theodore Nott drawled, sliding into the seat across from yours. His presence was effortlessly welcomed, with his cool demeanor and piercing blue eyes that seemed to see right through you. He was a strange boy at first, never letting anyone, but when you warmed up to him, he was a totally new person.
"Hi, Theo," you greeted him with a smile playing on your lips. Theodore had been one of the first students to approach you, his Italian heritage a surprising connection. He often teased you in his native language, enjoying the way you fumbled with the unfamiliar phrases. A nuisance, that he was.
"Come va la tua giornata?" he asked, his eyes twinkling with mischief. ("How's your day doing?")
Already hearing this phrase a few times, you learned to understand its translation. With a sigh, you ran a hand through your hair. "It's been . . . interesting. I'm still trying to understand half of what everyone says here."
Theo chuckled, the sound rich and warm to your ears. "British slang getting to you?"
"You could say that," you admitted, leaning back in your chair as you watched his amusement at your misery. "I feel like I need a translator just for conversations."
"Well, if you think British slang is confusing, wait until I teach you some Italian slang," Theo smirked at the idea that appeared on his mind. "It's a whole different level."
Now this got your attention. "Teach me, then. It can't be that difficult from the British slang."
Over the next few weeks, Theodore Nott became your informal language tutor. He started with simple phrases, weaving them into everyday conversations until you began to pick them up naturally. He taught you how to greet someone with "Ciao, amico!" instead of a formal "Buongiorno," and how to say "Andiamo!" when you were ready to go.
One rainy afternoon, as you sat together in the Great Hall, Theo decided to test your knowledge. The rain tapped persistently against the high, arched windows, casting a muted gray light across the large hall. The enchanted ceiling mirrored the sky outside, swirling with dark clouds and flashes of lightning that illuminated the space completely. Despite the dreary weather, the Great Hall buzzed with the soft hum of student conversations, punctuated by the clinking of silverware and the rustling of pages.
Theo, seated across from you at the Slytherin table, leaned back casually, a mischievous glint in his eye. His dark hair fell slightly over his forehead, framing his sharp features. You had grown accustomed to his teasing, the way he delighted in challenging you with phrases in Italian, watching with amusement as you thought through the unfamiliar language. Today was no different, his eyes scanning the hall as if seeking inspiration for his next test.
You had been in the midst of revising for an upcoming Charms exam, your notes spread out around you in a chaotic array of parchment and textbooks. The soft light from the floating candles above cast a warm glow on the pages, making the ink shimmer slightly. As Theo's gaze returned to you, you knew another one of his lessons was coming.
"What would you say if you were really tired?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
Theo's questions were always a blend of practical and playful, designed to push you just a little further each time. He spoke with the ease of someone completely comfortable in his skin, his words flowing like the rain outside, steady and sure. His Italian phrases, though foreign at first, began to weave themselves into the mind of your understanding.
Your responses grew more confident, the hesitation in your voice diminishing with each passing day. You found yourself thinking in Italian at times, the language slipping into your thoughts as naturally as your own. Theo's delight was evident, his eyes lighting up whenever you got something right, his praise sincere and heartfelt.
The rain outside showed no signs of letting up, but within the Great Hall, a warmth lingered.
You thought for a moment, then confidently replied, "Sono stanca morta." The phrase rolled off your tongue more smoothly than before, each syllable a small victory in your journey to master his native language. The meaning â "I'm dead tired" â was all too familiar after long days filled with classes and studying.
Theo laughed, the sound rich and genuine, echoing softly in the near-empty Great Hall. His laughter was like a reward, a confirmation that you were getting it right. Silver eyes sparkled with approval, the corners of his lips curling into a smile that made your heart flutter. The warmth of his reaction was comforting against the dreary, rain-soaked afternoon outside.
"Well done!" His voice was filled with genuine pride and delight, making you feel accomplished. His praise was never out of place; it was always heartfelt.
Your heart swelled with a mix of pride and joy. Learning Italian was not just about understanding a new language, but also about bridging the gap between your worlds. Each phrase, each word, was a step closer to understanding Theo better, and a way to connect on a deeper level.
He leaned forward slightly, his eyes searching yours, waiting for your next move. "And if you wanted to compliment someone on a job well done?" His question was another gentle challenge, pushing you to dig deeper into your newfound vocabulary.
"Bravo!" you answered without hesitation. The word felt natural, a perfect fit for the context. As you spoke, you couldn't help but smile, the simple word carrying a world of meaning and mutual respect. Seeing the approval in Theo's eyes, you felt a surge of confidence.
Theo's smile broadened, and his expression softened with pride and admiration. The approval in his eyes was more than just about your grasp of the language; it was about your willingness to immerse yourself in something new, to share a part of his heritage, to make an effort to connect.
The atmosphere around you felt lighter, the earlier tension of the day's studies dissolving into a shared moment of triumph and connection. The Great Hall, with its towering windows and ancient stone walls, seemed to fade into the background, leaving just the two of you in your own little world of language and laughter.
The candles above flickered gently, casting a warm glow that danced across Theo's features, highlighting the pride in his eyes.
One day, as you walked together by the Black Lake, the cold water reflecting the moody sky, Theo turned to you, his expression thoughtful. The gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the ancient trees that lined the shore, their branches swaying rhythmically as if in silent conversation. The scene was picturesque, the expanse of the lake stretching out before you, a serene contrast to the bustling life within the castle walls. It was quiet out here, and you liked this spot.
"You know, you've picked up Italian slang faster than I expected," Theo remarked, his voice carrying a hint of admiration and surprise. His thoughtful tone blended seamlessly with the natural sounds around you, creating a moment of perfect harmony.
You laughed, the sound bright and carefree, echoing across the still waters. Nudging him playfully, you replied, "Maybe I had a good teacher." The playful banter was a reflection of the easy camaraderie that had developed between you, a testament to the countless hours spent learning and laughing together.
Theo's smile softened at your words, a tender expression that seemed to light up his face. His gaze lingered on you, the depth of his affection and pride evident in his eyes. The way he looked at you made your heart flutter, each shared glance made your knees tremble. Like you were the only girl at Hogwarts.
"Maybe," he said quietly, his voice barely above a whisper, yet filled with a warmth that enveloped you. "Or maybe you just have a knack for languages." His words were a gentle compliment, a recognition of your efforts and abilities.
The path around the Black Lake was peaceful, the occasional ripple disturbing the otherwise mirror-like surface of the water. The air was crisp and fresh, carrying with it the faint scent of pine and damp earth. As you walked side by side, the world seemed to shrink to just the two of you, the rest of the universe fading into the background.
Your footsteps synchronized, a silent dance of familiarity and comfort. The conversations flowed effortlessly, alternating between Italian lessons and shared dreams, each word weaving a tapestry of understanding and companionship. Theo's presence was a constant, steady and reassuring, his thoughtful insights and quiet encouragements a source of strength.
The sun began to dip below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the landscape. The twilight hues painted the sky in shades of pink and orange, a breathtaking sight that added to the magic of the moment. Theo's silhouette against the backdrop of the setting sun was a picture of serenity and quiet strength, a reminder of the stability he brought into your life.
Before you could fully process what was happening, the Slytherin boy took a small step closer, closing the distance between you. The warmth of his presence enveloped you, his proximity sending a gentle thrill through your body. He reached out, his fingers lightly brushing against yours, the touch sending a spark of electricity up your arm.
In that moment, with the golden light of dusk casting a magical glow around you, Theo leaned in. His movements were deliberate, filled with a tender hesitation. As his lips met yours, the world seemed to dissolve, leaving only the two of you in a bubble of pure, unadulterated connection.
The kiss was gentle at first, a soft press of lips that spoke everything you needed to know. The taste of his lips, the warmth of his breath, the gentle caress of his hand against your cheek â it all combined to create a sensation that was both exhilarating and deeply comforting.
Theo's hand moved to cup your face, his thumb gently stroking your cheek. The kiss deepened, becoming more confident, more insistent. Your hands found their way to his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath your fingertips. The connection between you intensified, the kiss becoming a language of its own, expressing everything words couldn't.
When you finally pulled away, both of you were breathless, your foreheads resting against each other. The world slowly came back into focus, the sounds of nature reasserting themselves around you. Theo's eyes, still holding that mix of affection and awe, met yours. A soft, contented smile played on his lips.
"Grazie, Theo," you said softly, your voice filled with gratitude.
"For what?" he asked confused, his brow furrowing slightly.
"For being patient with me. For this. For . . . everything."
Theo's eyes softened, and he reached out, intertwining your fingers in one. "No worries," he replied, his voice just as soft. "I'm glad I could help."

Better Not Pout*
Summary:Â The one where Harry isn't leaving until he gets what he really came for.
You.
Word Count: 10.6k

December 24th, 1945.
The streets of Chicago are cold. Windy. Dark. Everyone is either at home, visiting loved ones, or spending their Christmas Eve at the one place they know theyâll be welcome.
The Bees Knees â the renowned, underground speakeasy â is rather sparkling tonight. The customers continue to bustle in, some here for the booze, some here for the atmosphere and warmth, and some for the entertainment.
You.
Youâre one of the establishments best performers, three nights of the week. Employed by none other than Johnny Winters himself to sing for the lost souls of Chicago as they drown their worries in a bottle of whiskey.
You quite like your job, and the people you work with. Milton, who tends the bar, always has a compliment to lend, offering you engaging small talk between sets or any new mixes he might make.
And Johnny isnât so bad. But perhaps youâre a bit biased, seeing as he is your fiancĂ©. But more than that, heâs one of the most powerful men in all of town. And considerably wealthy, which you suppose doesnât exactly hurt.
But heâs also kind. Giving. And so very attentive. He spends every second heâs not working with you. Doting on you, showing you off to all of his friends. And having such a handsome man on your arm is certainly not the worst thing.
Tonight, however, Johnny is nowhere to be found. Which you donât consider to be too terribly odd, given how much work he mentioned heâd be catching up on.Â
Even still, he hates to miss your performances, and insisted that you keep a part of him with you as you take center stage tonight in the small bar.
That part happens to be in the form of a stunning red, silk dress that was gifted to you for this very occasion. It sits on your frame like it was always meant to be yours, hugging every desirable curve, and showcasing just enough skin to taunt the imagination of those in the audience.
You donât think youâve ever felt so beautiful, and you walk up the steps tonight with pride. Shoulders back and painted lips poised with your first song.
The few gentlemen scattered across the main floor holler when the spotlight finds you, and you offer your signature smile.
âEvening, gentleman,â you call as the pianist begins behind you. âHow are you all doing tonight?â
A few whistles are offered that make you laugh, and just like thatâŠthe show begins.
Santa Claus Came in the Spring is always a favorite, and you croon the festive lyrics while the live band follows your lead.
And even though the crowd is rather dull and distracted, you have a blast. You feel comfortable in this role and in the way their eyes drink you in. Even if their attention drifts between you, their drinks, and the cigars.
In fact, you get so swept up in your act that you hardly notice the door open or the tall, lanky stranger that slinks in from the cold.
But when his head lifts, and his eyes find yours, you feel a hitch in your throat.
Unfortunately, he looks away all too quickly, pulling off his trench coat before moving along the shadows toward the far end of the bar.
He goes unnoticed by those around him, yet your attention follows him all the way to the booth that he settles in. And it stays even after heâs leaned back, gotten comfortable, and pulled a cigarette from his rather expensive looking suit pocket.
But even though your focus has drifted, you donât miss a single beat of the song. After all, you could sing it in your sleep, and this habit serves you well as the intriguing stranger finally shifts into the light and allows you a better look at his face.
HeâsâŠstunning. Absolutely beautiful, with his slicked back curls, sharp jaw, and pointed nose. And heâs lighting the end of a cigarette with what you can only call practiced precision before perching it between his two, crimson-colored lips.Â
Rings adorn his fingers as he holds the nicotine to his mouth, inhaling a long drag before exhaling the dark smoke from his lungs.
Yet unlike the other patrons in the bar, this man seems to be rather put together. Heâs not missing any teeth, his skin isnât stained with dirt or grease, and his clothes appear to be rather new. Itâs quite the upgrade from the usual appearance youâve grown used to, and you canât help but feel rather relaxed.
And itâs now that you realize that this striking stranger seems to be watching you much like youâre watching him. Studying your dress, your silhouette, the way you grip the microphone stand. He takes in each detail presented before him with what looks to be wonder, and your cheeks instantly grow warm.
Still, you carry on with the ballad, making your way through the final chorus and the last few notes as the band plays you out with a flourish.
The few men in front of the stage clap, and you smile gratefully as you nod your thanks and call out your appreciation.
Jingle Bells is next, and a few more people join in on the fun this time around. They clink their glasses together or belt out the lyrics a few seconds too late and wildly off-key.
Even still, itâs rather fun as you continue on with your set before finally wrapping it up with a high note thatâs accompanied by a rather lively trumpet solo.
And once itâs all over, the room bursts into applause. You wave to the growing audience, taking a quick bow before gesturing toward the band. Offering them their due praise which the crowed quickly obliges.
But you notice the man in the booth keeps his expression indifferent as he continues to watch you exit the stage and make your way to the bar. He doesnât applaud your performance or even offer a smile of encouragement. He merely takes another hit of his cigarette and throws his arm over the back of his seat. A position you imagine is intended to display dominance more than it is to find comfort.
Truth be told, you find it rather unnerving. He doesnât seem to be here for the alcohol or the company. Perhaps heâs only here to get out of the cold or perhaps heâs avoiding his home.
Either way, his focus stays only with you, and you feel a sharp chill run down your spine as you turn to the counter and flag down Miltonâs attention.
You ask for a drink and request that he tell Johnny that youâll be waiting in his office until he arrives.Â
He quickly agrees, preparing the beverage for you before jutting his chin toward the silent stranger.
âWant me to have him escorted out?â he asks, but you only smile as you shake your head.
âNo need, Iâm sure heâs harmless.â You take the crystal glass and tip it toward him in thanks. âBesides, the attention is rather nice.â
Milton nods his understanding and you leave it at that, taking your drink toward the hallway just off the corner of the room.
You sip leisurely as you stroll to Johnnyâs office, picking up the edge of your long gown so it doesnât drag on the floor. The sounds of the crowd grow quieter and quieter with each step you take, and soon, itâs nothing but silence.
After retrieving the key Johnny insisted you keep on you at all times, you slip open the door, and make your way inside.
Itâs quite dark, given the time of night and lack of lighting. Heâs only got three lamps in the room, one by the window, one on the shelf, and one on his desk.
Right beside a photo of you.
Getting your photograph taken is quite the privilege, but Johnny insisted he have a vision of you in his office at all times. And you couldnât help but indulge him, allowing him to dress you up and place you in front of the large contraption one Sunday afternoon in spring.
Itâs his favorite thing in the entire world, and he mentions it constantly. Commenting on your beauty or your ethereal outfit. You know heâs only trying to embarrass you, but itâs still rather flattering to hear.
You grin to yourself as you take a seat in the large chair behind the wooden table. Downing the rest of the contents in your glass before setting it down and taking a glance around the large space.
Vaguely, you hear footsteps approaching just outside the door. Echoing through the hall as your grin grows a bit wider.Â
And as the knob turns, you expect to see the handsome face of your Johnny.
What you donât expect, however, is the green-eyed devil and his quiet charm.
Heâs followed you. You assume this immediately, and your heart leaps into your throat as he steps insideâŠand shuts the door behind him.
A tense silence settles between you as you slowly sit up and force in a quiet breath. âHello,â you call quietly.
The sound of your unsteady voice seems to amuse him, the corner of his mouth curling up as the burning cigarette sits tucked between his lips. âHello, mama.â
You feel your lashes flutter. âCanâŠcan I help you?â
âIâm looking for your fiancĂ©,â he says, and his voice is low. Deep. And you believe you catch just a hint of an English accent. âThis is in fact his office, is it not?â
You hesitate, unsure whether or not to disclose such information to a stranger. âItâŠyes. Yes, but heâs not here right now. Perhaps you could come back later?â
âLater,â he repeats, almost thoughtfully as his head tilts. Then, he tsks. âSee, Iâm afraid later just doesnât work for me. I need to speak with him right now. Itâs quite urgent, and Iâd like to finish this up and be home to my lover by midnight.â
âOhâŠâ You shift a bit in your seat and hope he doesnât notice how nervous youâve become. âWell, I would love to help, but I donât believe I know when heâll be in.â
He considers this for a moment before striding further into the room. Eyes tracking every tremble of your fingers and heave of your chest. âCan I tell you a secret, mama?â he murmurs, placing both hands on the desk and leaning closer.
You nod.
âYour boy Johnny owes me money,â he whispers. âAnd Iâm here to collect.â
And now you understand. Now you know why heâs here. Because even though his tone is friendly, it canât disguise the threat you know lingers underneath.Â
âOh,â you whisper back, and he hums.
âExactly. And Iâm a pretty reasonable guy. Decent. So, Iâll make you a deal.â He begins to smirk behind the cigarette. âIf heâs not here within the next five minutesâŠyou and I will find another way.â
The truth is, you donât really know too much about the financial side of Johnnyâs affairs and business. You know he has plenty of money, but you donât know what he does with it. Or where he keeps it.
And if this alluring stranger seems to think youâll be his keyâŠyouâre afraid heâll be mistaken.
âProblem, Doll?â He seems smug, and it makes your skin crawl. âMânot scaring you, am I?â
The answer is obvious to you both, but you force yourself straighter and attempt to appear calm. âNot at all, sir. I only want to help.â
"Mm? Good girl,â he mumbles, eyes flicking down to your painted red lips. âKnew youâd behave for me.â
Your heart is hammering inside of your chest. Youâre unsure what to do now. Do you ask him to leave? Do you scream for help? Do you call the police?
And where the hell is Johnny?
He should be here by now, especially after promising to wrap up his meeting early in order to catch your last performance before Christmas. Heâs always here. One of your biggest fans and greatest protectors.Â
The only thing you can truly think to do now is attempt to call him. You figure the police wonât get here in time, but at least if this gentleman can be assured that Johnny is on his way, he wonât be as inclined to act rashly.
However, the moment your fingers lift from the desk in order to reach for the phone, the stranger reaches for something, too.
In a matter of seconds, heâs wrapping his hand around the barrel of a gun, pulling it from his back pocket, and aiming it straight at your head. Cocking it loudly as you gasp and withdraw your arm as quickly as possible.
âWhat are you doinâ, hm, mama?â Thereâs a haughty condescension in his sneer, laced with just the faintest disappointment. âThought you were gonna be good.â
âIâŠI was just going to call him,â you stammer. âI know youâre in a hurry.â
The stranger studies you now, that familiar smirk beginning to fade as his attention flicks across your face. Perhaps he suspects a lie or perhaps he merely doesnât trust you, but truth be told, you know better than to try and pull a fast one on him.Â
Finally, he plucks his cigarette from between his lips before tossing it to the floor and nodding at you. âYeah? Go on, then,â he instructs, reposition the barrel at your chest. âCall your little pretty boy. Tell him heâs got a visitor.â
With a racing pulse, you once again slowly reach for the telephone, eyeing the gun carefully as you scoot closer.
Youâre careful not to make any sudden moments. Hesitant to even look at him for fear of upsetting him, but your timid demeanor only entertains him further.
He simply chuckles as he slowly makes his way over to your side of the desk. Snatching up the phone just before you can reach for it and handing it to you almost cockily.
Curious, you glance up. That soft green in his eye is almost alluring, even despite the circumstance. Still, he reeks of nicotine and expensive cologne, and you lean back in an attempt to put as much space between you as you can.
He smiles. âIâm gonna watch you dial,â he tells you calmly. âMake sure you keep your word. Okay, Doll?â
Posed like a question, although you both know you donât exactly have a choice. And you'd likely point this out if you were just a touch braver, but nevertheless, you nod. Agreeing to his terms as you take the phone and begin to dial.
As the seconds go by, you feel him watching you closely while the line rings. Leaving you to desperately await the sound of your sweet Johnnyâs voice. A sound youâve never needed more than in this moment.
Yet his voice never comes, and your heart sinks to the cold floor blow as you return the phone to the desk.
âHeâŠhe must already be on his way,â you murmur, and the man hums.
âYou think so?â
You nod weakly.
He takes a seat on the edge of the desk, just inches from your arm before leaning closer. âHow much are you willing to bet, hm?â His brow raises. âHow sure are you that your precious fiancĂ© will actually save you tonight?â
You feel trapped by him now. The closer he moves, the faster your heart pounds. You have nowhere to run, no personal space to disappear into.Â
But you only have to hold on for just a little longer. Johnny will come for you. He always does.
âIncredibly sure,â you respond, ignoring the slight waver in your voice. âHe said he would be, so he will.â
The man considers this before clicking his tongue. âAll right. Then how about I make you another deal, yeah? For every minute heâs late, and for every minute he leaves you here unattendedâŠIâll put an extra bullet through his head.â
A sharp chill runs down your spine, skin growing hot and prickly, but you force your expression to remain unfazed. âAnd why would you do that if you need him so badly?â
The gentleman laughs now. A sound that would almost be charming if he werenât so vile. âBecause I donât need your precious Johnny,â he answers calmly. âI just need whatâs in his safe.â
And despite the danger youâre in and despite your better judgment, your features scrunch into a grimace as you scoff, âOh, how pathetic.â
Your reaction loosens his smile.
âTruly, how incredibly pathetic to come all the way down here at this time of night â and on Christmas Eve â just to break into his safe,â you huff. âHonestly. He wonât give you a damn thing. And you have absolutely no business to come storming in here andââ
You donât get the chance to finish the rest of your furious scolding before heâs suddenly standing to his feet and wrapping his fingers around your arm.
Instantly, youâre yanked from your chair and shoved against the bookcase just behind you. Hard enough to knock the wind from your lungs as he traps you there, leaning in so close, his nose nearly brushes your own.Â
âIâd be careful how you fucking speak to me, mama,â he seethes quietly, yet even still, thereâs just an air of pleasure. âBecause you might not get the chance to do it again.â
Heâs desperate to scare you. Desperate to see you cry, but you refuse to give him the satisfaction.
Instead, you suck in a sharp breath, and do the one thing you can think to do:
You spit.
The collection of saliva just misses his eye, landing on his cheek with a rather wet splat until the amusement fades and fury takes its place.
His fingers leave your arm and find your throat, curling around the delicate skin and forcing your head up as he begins to chuckle darkly.
âSo, thatâs how you wanna play, hm, Doll?â Another tsk. âYou wanna be bad? Wanna test my fucking patience?â
You squirm a bit in his hold, yet for some reason, you donât feel as frightened as you did before. Because thereâs this look in his eye â this hunger. And even though his grip is tightâŠyou feel oddly safe.
âBetter find a way to keep this pretty little mouth shut,â he says next, head cocking to the left almost curiously. âOr Iâll have to shut it for you.âÂ
His attention returns to your mouth, fingers slowly slipping up toward your chin until he can brush is thumb over the painted fibers of your lips.
Just enough to taunt you yet startle you all in the same second.Â
âMaybe,â you finally breathe before jerking your head away from his cruel touch. âIf you knew how.â
The cocky grin widens as his hand immediately returns to your neck. âStill disobeying me, hm?â he nearly purrs. âGuess I could always just squeeze this sweet, little throat to keep you quiet, yeah? Feel your pretty pulse beneath my fingertips. Feel the life drain from your bodyâŠwatch the light go out in your eyes.â
You take in a strained inhale, and he makes a sound that almost sounds like a groan.
âYeah,â he murmurs, moving in just a bit closer until his lips are ghosting across yours. âOr maybeâŠI could put my gun in your mouth. See how chatty you are then, yeah, mama?â
Your chest heaves anxiously, but you find just enough confidence to whisper, âBut without your gun, how will everyone know what a tiny cock you have?â
And youâre so proud of yourself. So endlessly pleased with the way youâve managed to make his smug expression waver, even if he keeps his smirk in place.
âOh, you think thatâs funny,â he snorts as you attempt to bite back a laugh. âWell, you wanna know what I think is funny? I think itâs funny that you said Johnny would be hereâŠand heâs not.â
âHe will be,â you retort, a bit firmer. âHe will.â
âSeeâŠyou keep saying that,â he muses, placing one hand on the bookshelf beside your head. Truly trapping you beneath him. âAnd yetâŠyour noble fiancĂ© still isnât here to save you.â
You tilt your head back in an attempt to appear stronger, but it doesnât seem to fool him.Â
âAre you afraid?â he whispers, chest brushing against yours. âAre you afraid your Johnny wonât be able to keep you safe from the bad man?â
Itâs almost hostile, the way he goads you. And yet you can hear just the slightest concern beneath his question.
âOr maybe youâre afraid he canât pay up,â he continues. âMaybe youâre afraid heâll have to find another way.â
Suddenly, the grip on your throat constricts. Recapturing your attention.
âAre you gonna be my other way, mama?â he exhales. âYou gonna be my consolation prize?â
You feel dizzy. The room is spinning. And you arenât sure if thatâs because of the hold on your neck or the way heâs speaking to you.Â
However, before you can decide if youâre actually intrigued by his intimidation tacticsâŠthe sound of footsteps echo outside through the hall.
Johnny.
It has to be him. You almost need it to be him, and your shoulders unwind as the man glances toward the closed door curiously before finally leaning back.
Then, he grabs onto your arm for a second time, and flings you back toward the chair. Shoving you down and keeping you still.
âYouâre gonna sit here and youâre gonna keep your fucking mouth shut,â he hisses softly right as the door swings open. âAnd then maybeâŠI just might reward you.â
But you donât even mind this malicious threat because then you see him. Your fiancĂ©, smiling brightly as his eyes find you before they flick to the man to your right.
For a moment, he seems surprised, seemingly assessing your position and the situation before his grin widens.Â
âAh, Mr. Styles,â he calls as he strides into the room, quickly removing his hat and coat. âWhat a pleasant surprise. Did we have a meeting tonight?â
He seems relaxed. Almost too relaxed, as though he doesnât view this man as a threat, and you arenât sure whether to feel relieved or wildly confused. You hadnât exactly expected him to grab the mysterious guest by the collar and throw him out the window, but you also didnât expect him to welcome him with open arms.Â
A strange man is alone with his future wife, in his office, in the middle of the night, and that doesnât seem to concern him even a little?
Perhaps Johnny is far too friendly for his own good.
The gentleman, in turn, straightens up while subtly slipping the gun behind his back. Tucking it into his belt just out of view before Johnny can catch it. âNot quite,â he says coolly. âIâm here to discuss a bit of unfinished business.â
Your heart sinks, yet Johnny merely nods. âAh, I see. Well, is there any way this can wait until after Christmas? Itâs been a long night, and Iâd like to be getting the lovely lady home.â
Now, both of their stares turn to you, and eagerly, you begin to rise from the chair. Grateful for the opportunity to leave this unsettling stranger behind.
Yet before you can even find your footing, the manâs hand is coming down in a firm smack on your shoulder to force you back down.
âIâm afraid the lovely lady isnât going anywhere,â he replies, and you catch Johnnyâs expression fall. âAnd neither are you. Have a seat.â
Johnny begins to frown. âLook, Harry, whatever business we might have, Iâm sure it canââ
âI said, haveâŠa seat,â the man â Harry â repeats a bit brasher. âYeah? Or things will get a lot worse for your darling fiancĂ©.â
Johnny hesitates, eyes flicking to yours. But he must notice the panicked look you wear because he finally sighs and does as instructed. Taking a seat in the chair just in front of the desk before glancing toward Harry.
Harry nods, almost proudly. âThere you go. Sânot so hard, is it?â
Johnnyâs figure slumps but his lips purse together. âWhat do you want?â
âOh, I just want to talk,â Harry says, his smirk returning. âAnd lucky for you, your schedule just cleared up.â
âHarryââ Johnny begins, leaning closer as though getting ready to stand.
But instantly, Harry is reaching back behind him for the gun, pulling it free, and aiming the barrel straight at his head.
Johnny quickly leans back, eyeing the weapon hesitantly while you gasp and glance up at the stranger pleadingly.
Harry only looks at Johnny. âSee, Iâm running out of fucking patience. Eight goddamn months Iâve had to listen to you go on and on about this special fucking shipment you got. And nowâŠitâs time to collect.â
Your sweet fiancé understands now. Realizes why this man is here and how real the threat is, and glances back at you almost apologetically.
You merely mouth, âItâs okay.â
Johnnyâs eyes flick back to the gun. âIâd be careful waving that thing around. Somebody might get hurt.â
The man merely hums. âOh, Iâm fucking counting on it.â
Now, the office grows quiet. A tense, charged sort of energy that filters between the three of you as Harry begins to walk around the desk.
âSo,â he continues, grabbing onto the other free chair in order to spin it around and sit in a straddle, âwhereâs the safe, Johnny?â
Johnnyâs brow raises, but his Adamâs apple bobs with a thick swallow. âI donât know what youâre talking about.â
âSure you do. Down at the club, you said you just got a brand new, fancy safe to hold everything from your latest shipment. Practically bragged about it to the whole goddamn bar, yeah? SoâŠwhere is it?â
With piqued interest, you look between the two men curiously as you await Johnnyâs answer. Youâve never really been sure where he gets all his money. You assumed most of it came from the bar and alcohol sales, so youâre rather stumped by what sort of shipment they might be referring to.
However, Johnny isnât so quick to divulge all his secrets. âAnd what is it youâre expecting to get out of my safe, Mr. Styles?â
Thereâs another heavy pause as Harry rests his arms over the back of the seat and whispers, âEverything.â
Instantly, Johnny scoffs. âYou think you can storm into my office on Christmas Eve and threaten my fiancĂ©? Threaten me? That youâre entitled to anything you damn well please?â A bitter scoff as he leans back. âYouâll be arrested before morning, and youâll never see a red fucking cent.â
His retort dangles between them for only a moment as a breath catches in your throat. Pulse racing as you watch the strangerâs reaction closely.
Yet the mystery man doesnât so much as flinch as he suddenly repositions the gun into the air, aims it just to the left of Johnnyâs head, and fires.
The sound is deafening, much like your sharp, shrill shriek as the bullet flies through the air â just missing Johnnyâs ear â and lodges into the wall behind him.
Johnny immediately flinches, eyes screwing shut and muscles recoiling before he seems to realize that he remains unharmed.
And once he does, he takes a deep breath, and begins to smirk. âYou missed.â
âDid I?â Harry runs his tongue over his bottom lip before re-cocking the gun. âNo, seeâŠI never fucking miss. That was your first warning.âÂ
Johnny simply snorts. âYeah? Well, eat my shit.â
Things move quickly from there.
Harry is instantly on his feet, tossing the chair aside rather angrily before heâs turning to you once more. And you donât even have a moment to think before youâre being yanked from the seat for a second time and immediately tugged to his chest as he presses the barrel of the gun into the side of your temple.Â
âWhereâs the fucking safe, Johnny?â he says again, and you notice Johnnyâs face pale.
âStyles,â Johnny murmurs, âyou donât have to do thisââ
âThe safe,â he seethes. âWhere is it? Or do you need a little incentive, huh? Need to see her pretty little brains all over your goddamn floor? Is that what itâs gonna take?â
Poor Johnny doesnât know what to do. He looks from the gun, to your face, to the arm keeping you hostage.
And you almost feel bad for him, yet you arenât even afforded the chance for empathy before Harry furiously growls and shoves you in Johnnyâs direction.
You stumble across the wooden floor until Johnny can quickly take you into his embrace, keeping you safe from the bad man as you begin to sniffle.
âMy love,â he whispers, tightening his hold on your trembling frame while turning you away as if to protect you. âItâs gonna be all right, I promise.â
With a quick nod and a hiccup, you look up and slip your hands around his neck for comfort. âI know.â
He smiles.
Itâs Harryâs disgusted sneer that brings you attention back. âFucking pathetic. Really, mama? This is who you choose to save you?â
Your features fall ever-so-slightly while Johnny begins to pull you behind him, shielding you from the aggravated aggressor. âIf you need money so badly, there are plenty of other ways.â
âItâs not just about money,â Harry retorts calmly. âItâs about your money. Yeah? So whereâs the fucking safe.â
âNone of your goddamn businessââ
The reply no sooner leaves his mouth before thereâs another gunshot fired into the air.Â
One of the paintings on the wall falls with a crack and you jump almost two feet into the air, nails scratching down Johnnyâs nice shirt.
âJohnny,â you whisper faintly, refusing to let this go on any longer. âJohnny, tell him. Tell him, please. I donât care about the money; I donât care about any of it. I just want you. I love you, and I canât lose you.â
The office falls silent as you request hangs in the air, and you feel Johnny take in a deep breath.
âYeah, Johnny,â Harry adds in a condescending murmur. âShe loves you. Donât make her watch you die. Itâd be such a shameful waste of her tears.â
Johnny looks to you, and your expression softens. âItâs okay,â you tell him. âItâs okay, I promise.â
Finally, he sighs. âUnder the desk.â
Harryâs head whips toward the large table curiously before he frowns. âWhere?â he murmurs before repositioning the gun at Johnnyâs chest. âI promise you donât wanna lie to me.â
However, Johnnyâs indifferent expression remains. âUnder the desk,â he repeats while thrusting his chin toward the massive piece of furniture.Â
And now Harry seems to understand, although it does little to relax him as he suddenly reaches for you again and yanks you from your loversâ arms.
âShow me,â he hisses, keeping you hostage again while ushering Johnny forward with the barrel of the weapon. âAnd donât be dense.â
And Johnny can do nothing but obey, seemingly defeated while sending you one last remorseful look. Finally moving to lift the desk and pull it back.
The sound of wood scraping against wood is heavy, and it takes him quite a while to relocate the table beneath the window by himself.Â
But once itâs out of the way, you notice a particular part of the flooring juts out. The rotten board almost askew.
You and Harry lean closer, both magnetized by intrigue as he bends down in order to wrench the board up, revealing the hollow hiding place underneath.
And there you find it. The large, black box with a gold dial in the middle.
He glances up toward Harry, perhaps looking for permission â which Harry quickly gives him â before reaching down to put in the correct combination.
And after a couple seconds of clicking and turningâŠthe door swings open.
Truth be told, you were hoping to find a secret gun that might help you out of this situation, but it seems there are no weapons to be found as Harry shoves you back in order to get a better look.
He no longer seems concerned about Johnny or the possibility that he might attempt to attack because Johnny seems to have given up.Â
All your dejected fiancĂ© does is straighten up and motion you back to him, watching Harry bend over and reach inside the safe almost uninterestedly.Â
Your heart aches for him, yet you canât help feeling relieved. Youâre a few steps closer to this wretched night being over, and perhaps once Harry has what he came for, youâll be able to leave.
âAre you all right?â Johnny whispers to you now as Harry begins to unload the contents in the floor.Â
You nod quickly, clinging to his strong frame as though youâre scared you might be taken again. âYes, Iâm all right. Are you?â
âI will be once I know youâre safe,â he says, and your heart sinks.
Once everything inside the safe has been shoved into a bag, Harry turns to the two of you. âThat was a good start, Winters. Now whereâs the rest of it?â
Johnny frowns. âI donât know what you mean. Everything I have is in there.â
But Harry only tsks as he sets the items down and begins to stride closer, making you curl even further into Johnnyâs embrace. âCome on, now,â he mumbles almost tauntingly. âYou know what I really want. And you know that youâre gonna fucking tell me. Isnât that right, mama?â
He looks to you for only a moment as you swallow.Â
Johnny begins to seethe. âNo. No, you can have everything else, but you wonât touch that.â
âJohnny,â you try, unnerved by the sudden look of warning in Harryâs eye. âJohnny, pleaseâŠjust give it to him. Whatever it is, I donât care, justâŠjust make him leave.â
âSmart girl,â Harry adds. âCome on, Johnny boy, your darling fiancĂ© is scared. Donât you wanna save her?â
Your lover simply grows stiff, eyes narrowing at the faux sincerity in the strangerâs voice.
âJohnny,â you mumble again. âJohnny, please, heâs right. Iâm scared and I donât care about what you have or what you donât have. I just want you. And I want him to go away.â
Still, Johnny wrestles with his decision. With the choice heâs being forced to make, and as the seconds go by, Harryâs patience reaches its limit.
He grabs for you â again. Forcing the weapon under your jaw this time around as Johnnyâs muscles tense and his fingers curl into his fist.
âGod, look at him,â Harry whispers to you now, lips ghosting up the shell of your ear while forcing your eyes on your fiancĂ©. âFucking look at your pathetic excuse for a man.â
You attempt to remain indifferent â appear unafraid â but he sees right through you.
âDâyou really think he cares about you, Doll?â he murmurs. âDo you really think heâll choose your life over his own?â
âLet her go,â Johnny barks, yet it only forces the barrel even further into your skin.
Your chin is tilted up, a sharp inhale getting caught in your throat until Harry begins to chuckle.
âHow about this,â he says. âIâll let you choose, mama. Iâll let you decide if he gets to watch me kill youâŠor if he gets to watch me take you. All for myself.â
âFucking piece of shitââ Johnny hisses, but Harry simply tsks.
âSo, what do you say? Whatâll it be? Either way, Iâll have him on his goddamn knees by the end of the night. And then we all win, yeah?â
âEnough,â Johnny yells, and a strangled silence splits the air. âFine. Fine, Iâll tell you. Just let her go.â
Harryâs arm begins to lower but not very far. âOnce itâs in my hand, sheâs all yours.â
And you want to resent these men for treating you like youâre some sort of object to be traded, yet youâd happily be given back to your lover if it meant you could leave this nightmare behind.
No matter the cost.
Johnny rolls his shoulders back and flicks his unrelenting stare back to his desk. âThere. The picture.â
You feel your eyebrows raise while Harry slowly begins to loosen his hold on you.
âGet it,â he instructs, and with an aggravated sigh, Johnny obliges.
He retrieves the golden frame from the table before pulling open the back and removing the picture inside.
The picture of you.
It almost breaks your heart, the look on his face. Like heâs absolutely gutted to be defiling this memory of you both, and you ache to comfort him.
Once the photo has been plucked from the glass, you catch the faintest sparkle in the soft light of the moon, and hear yourself gasp.
There, sitting snug inside the small frame, is the biggest fucking diamond youâve ever seen.
ItâsâŠstunning. The most gorgeous jewel youâve ever been privileged to lay eyes on, surrounded by what you can only assume to be hundreds of tinier diamonds and rubies arranged in a delicate but intricate pattern.Â
Altogether creating the most breathtaking necklace youâve ever seen.
It has to be worth hundreds of dollars â thousands, in fact â and Harry reaches over to take it from the frame with the biggest Cheshire-like grin youâve ever seen.
This is what he came for.
âYou have it, all right? You have it, now go,â Johnny calls, already attempting to reach for you. âYou got what you want.â
With an agreeable hum, Harry studies the necklace a moment longer before finally looking to you. âYouâre right. We did, didnât we?â
You both smile.
Instantly, you raise the gun that Harry had discreetly and secretly slipped into your hand only moments ago and aim it at Johnnyâs chest.
Three.
Johnnyâs expression shifts, eyes widening as he begins to piece together whatâs really going on. Why Harry looks so proud and why you look so relieved.
Two.
His lips part. Ready to speak to you, whisper your name, ask for an explanation. And a part of you canât help but wonder if youâll feel any remorse for the deception youâve put him through these past few months.
But as you stare at him nowâŠyou feel nothing but liberation.
One.
The third and final gunshot echoes through the air. Louder and far more permanent. Resolute.
Johnny stumbles back, unable to catch himself before he goes tumbling to the ground. A dark red stain expanding like watercolor across his chest, ruining the clean white shirt underneath.
Youâd bought him that shirt.
And as the look of life slowly leaves his eye, you feel your muscles unwind, and your shoulders droop.
Itâs over.
Harryâs got his arms around you before you can even release the deep breath youâve been holding onto for so long.Â
âOh, good fucking girl,â he nearly groans, pressing his lips to yours for the first time in months as you sling your arms around his neck. âFucking hell, I missed you, mama.â
If Harry had had it his way, Johnny would have been dead months ago. He never liked this plan â not because he thought you couldnât handle it, but because the idea of going without you for so long nearly killed him.
But it was the only way to gain Johnnyâs trust. And to find his true weakness. He never would have given you the location of the safe or the necklace if youâd simply held him at gunpoint from the get-go.
No, he needed a reason to cave, a reason to put his possessions on the line in order to save something else he truly cared about.
And thatâs where you came in.
Sure, it was hard to be without Harry, but you knew it had to be done. Getting these items would set you up for years. Youâd never have to work in sleazy bars again. You could simply be with himâŠforever.
And perhaps pretending to be a stranger to him and appear frightened of his intentions wasnât quite necessary, but you happen to like the roleplaying aspect.Â
The way he threatened your life as though he wouldnât do everything in his power to protect it. The way he taunted you, teased you, scared youâŠwhen he knew deep down how much you fucking loved it.
You can still feel his fingers around your neck. The pressure of his hand against your throat, holding you still, keeping you close. You hadnât felt it in months and a part of you wanted to keep the game going for just a bit longer if it meant you could have him.
You werenât able to run into his arms and kiss him the way you can now and itâsâŠperfect. Absolutely perfect.
âDid he hurt you?â he whispers, leaving a trail of kisses along your jaw. âDid he fucking touch youââ
âNo,â youâre quick to assure him. âNo, never. He wanted to, but I never let him.â
âGood.â He takes hold of your hip and gives it a firm squeeze. âGood girl, knew youâd be on your best behavior, yeah?â
You grin. âOf course. Only ever thought about you.â
âIs that right, doll?â
âMhm.â You tuck your lip between your teeth and nuzzle your nose to his. âHow could it ever be him?â
His lashes flutter, and you can see the edges of his frayed sanity coming loose. Heâs had to pretend for far too long, and you donât imagine he can do it much longer.
âYeah?â he murmurs, nearly clawing at your dress. âThen, maybe Iâllââ
âWhatâŠdid you do?â
The sound of Miltonâs confusion pulls you apart instantly. Heâs standing in the doorway, eyes wide, expression horrified. Looking from his boss, to you, to Harry, and back.
He sees the necklace on the desk, sees the gun in your hand, sees the bag of gold and cash lying at Harryâs feet.
He understands, and your heart almost sinks. Milton was one of the good ones.
Quickly, Harry takes the weapon from you and points it in Miltonâs direction.
Milton only leans back with a soft inhale while you turn to your lover and whisper, âNo. No, not him.â
Harryâs pursed lips and furrowed brows never waver. âWhat?â
âNot him,â you repeat, as firmly as you can.
And he hesitates for only a moment before dropping the weapon and nodding his chin at you. âGrab the bag and go out the window.â
You nod your understanding before stealing one last glance at the bartender by the door.
Heâs heartbroken and terrifiedâŠbut his features grow softer as he finally mumbles, ââŠfive minutes. Iâll give you five minutes.â
And you canât help but smile.
You rush to grab what you came for and hurry to the window, with Harry right behind you. You donât have a lot of time. Once Milton makes the call to the police, youâll need to be far enough away that they canât find you.
You know theyâll be looking. Know they wonât stop until they find you both â after all, theyâve been searching for you for years.
But you donât mind a life thatâs on the run, as long as itâs with him.Â
And the pleased smile he offers you now only confirms this.
You quickly lift the hem of your dress and begin over the ledge, with Harry right beside you to help. He takes your hand for support, keeping you steady until you can safely drop to the ground outside before heâs following suit.
The moment his feet hit the ground, you both run. The Chicago air is cold â frigid. You donât have enough clothes to truly cover you and your feet are sore from having to wear these outrageous shoes all night.
But you somehow feelâŠalive. Invigorated and so very free. You have everything youâve ever wanted.
You have him.
You both slip along the shadows as you make your way through town, leaving the speakeasy and Johnny Winters behind. After a minute or two, you hear the sirens in the distance, and the stakes are raised. They grow louder and louder the closer they get, and itâs then that Harry recaptures your hand and tugs you into a dark alleyway for cover.
This is where you stay until the cars have zipped down the street and proceeded without you. They donât even think to look for you here and youâre rather impressed with your loverâs quick thinking.
Harry, however, isnât as quick to revel in the success. Continuingly peeking around the corner in order to watch for anything unusual. Ignoring your amused laughter and giddy grin of accomplishment.
Heâs on edge. Alert. Ready to run again if need be, and while you rather admire his practiced precision, you hope to put it to better use.Â
You drop the bag near the wall and make your way for him, palms quickly finding his cheeks in order to pull his attention to you.
He grunts. âWhat?â
But you donât answer with words. You answer with a kiss. A kiss that makes your stomach flip and your mind grow fuzzy.
And this seems to be explanation enough as he groans with approval and wraps his arms around your middle to keep you against his chest. Nipping and licking at you as though his life depends on it.
Perhaps it does.
He shoves you back against the brick after only a few seconds, finding the leverage he needs in order to deepen the kiss and truly claim you. In a way heâd been desperate to the moment he saw you sitting in that office in such a beautiful dress.
âTrying to distract me, hm?â he murmurs, and you canât help but smile. âYeah? Or did you just need me that badly?â
He spins you around, pressing your cheek to the cold blocks of clay before dancing his fingers down your spine. Indulging in you.
It makes your insides twist.
You feel the hem of your dress gather in his fist as he finally gets a proper look at what heâs been missing for months. And the sound he makes goes straight to your cunt.
âYou filthy fucking thing,â he whispers, rather delightedly while moving in to trail his mouth along your neck. âLook at you. Look at how perfect you are.â
His fingers find your pussy, stroking over your covered slit once or twice before plucking the covering from your hips and dragging it down your thighs.Â
âJust dripping for me, yeah? All fucking night.â He drags his palm up the inside of your leg. âPower makes you weak, doesnât it, mama?â
You nod desperately, unable to answer with words.
But he understands, smirking to himself rather deviously before his hands are tangling in your hair in order to yank your head back. Just to hear you choke on a whine. âIâve waited months for this. Yeah? Mâgonna take my time with youâŠgonna make it worth it.â
And you donât doubt that you will.
You nod again as the sound of his leather belt coming undone echoes between your ears. Youâre trembling with anticipation, body aching for the feel of his cock. Itâs been far too long, and youâve nearly withered away without him.
You imagine he feels about the same, already fisting himself in one hand and readjusting your dress in the other. You hear him mumble something under his breath â youâre not quite sure what. But you suppose it doesnât matter. He can say whatever he likes as long as he gives you what you need.Â
Normally, heâd take his time. He loves to make a show out of ruining you, but thereâs no chance for that tonight. No patience. So, he kicks your feet apart, grabs your hip, and eases himself in all before you can take a breath.
And itâs perfect. Exactly the way you remember. The stretch, the scratch, the desperation. Nobody feels the way he does, and you both know it.
Heâs still for a moment, merely pushing himself in and watching your pussy swallow him whole. As if so overcome by the sensation that he canât do much else. As if losing control over his own body.
So, you push against his chest to remind him youâre here while your fingers reach back for his hair in order to tug it softly.
You feel him smile against your cheek. âAll fucking night,â he whispers the moment heâs buried to the hilt. âKnew exactly what you were doing, didnât you?â
You grin as well. Youâre rather happy he noticed.
âSpitting in my fucking face,â he continues. âChallenging me. Acting like a fucking brat. Sâall cause you were so fucking needy for me, wasnât it, mama?â
âMaybe,â you canât help but retort. âMaybe I knew youâd like it.â
He laughs now. A low, deep, sadistic sound from the back of his throat. Using his hold on your scalp to force your head into his shoulder. âIs that right, hm?â
You only nod.â
âYeah? Then say it,â he hisses. âTell me you missed me. Tell me you missed my cock. That nobody fucks you like I doââ
He accompanies this request with his first, sharp thrust. Pulling back only to drive himself in so hard, the air is nearly knocked from your lungs.
âBecause they canât, can they?â he coos, yet itâs angry. Fingers moving from your hair to your neck. Squeezing until you gasp. âNobody knows how to treat this little pussy like I do. Do they?â
You fall mute. Going limp in his hold as the pleasure begins to build.
âYou love it when I fuck you like this.â His nose presses to your cheek as he breathes, your delicate throat a plaything in his touch. âLove it when I kill for you. Love it when I make you mineââ
You gasp at the ecstasy, hardly able to hear him, but you wouldnât have it any other way.
âYou love me,â he murmurs, and you just about disappear into his embrace.
âI do,â you gasp, almost too loudly. âI do, Harry, pleaseâ"
âQuiet,â he hisses, glancing now toward the street in order to make sure the police havenât found their way to you. âYou know better than that. Youâll take me and youâll do it quietly. Understood?â
Your only response is to whimper pitifully while your nails scratch down the brick walls of the alley.
In turn, he grasps onto your jaw, forcing your head to the side until your eyes can meet. âI said, is that fucking understood?â
âI thought you said to be quiet,â you canât help but retort, and he hums.
âOh, is that how you wanna play it?â He releases your throat only to take hold of your hips once more and spin you around between thrusts. Quickly returning to his place between your thighs before lifting one of your legs and hiking it around his waist.
âWhatâŠâ you begin, chest heaving as the tip of his cock drags down your clit. âWhat are youââÂ
âHad to see you,â is his gritted response. âHad to see this pretty, bratty face as I ruined you.â
You imagine youâd smile if you werenât so close to coming apart, but he understands. Pressing his forehead to yours before reaching up toward the top of your dress and ripping the fabric down to reveal your chest.Â
You can tell heâs been wanting to do this all night. Know heâs been ogling your tits from behind the expensive fabric since the moment he walked in, and truth be told, thatâs the real reason you wore it.Â
Not because Johnny loves you in red.
But because Harry deserved to look at something pretty.
The cold air meets your skin with an unforgiving fervor, and you squirm against the brick as Harryâs eyes fall to the tattered fabric lying so pathetically on your chest.
Instantly, his head dips, mouth leaving open and sloppy kisses to the beautiful pair before him. Tongue stroking the hardened nipples rather respectfully, all things considered.
In turn, you run a hand through his dark curls as he does this to you. As you watch him take whatever he wants. Feeling the way his hair moves like butter between your fingers. The way he hums against you. The way his lashes flutter.
Youâve missed this.
Then, your grip tightens, and you yank his head up until his lips can meet yours. And you take. Take the taste of him, the taste of you, and the taste of victory.
His palm comes up to rest against the wall beside your head. Steadying himself as he works to find that perfect rhythm again. Over and over and over.
And all you can do is move your anxious kisses to his throat as he fucks into you. Whispering, âNobody, baby. Nobody feels like you do. Nobody.â
Your fingers trail down his strong back, feeling each muscle that dips and flexes as he moves. The way he grunts when you scratch your nails down his spine. The way he consumes you and succumbs to you all at once.
Johnny was beautiful, but Harry is a beast. Youâve never seen a man like this before â never felt a man like this before. Every curve of his body is ethereal. Every detail, every touch.
Your touch continues to move lower and lower down his strong frame until you find something at the base of his spine.
And it makes you grin.
You slip it from his belt with ease, feeling the way it sits firmly in your hand as though it were made for it.
Harry doesnât seem to notice. Or perhaps he just doesnât care with the way heâs so deep into you. Emotionally, physically.
But heâs quickly pulled from his pleasured trance the moment he feels the familiar, cool touch of his gun sweeping across his jaw.
He stills. Straightening up ever-so-slightly, eyes finding yours.
But youâre too busy gazing at the barrel that dances across that beautiful face.Â
After all, he got to have his fun this evening.
Now itâs your turn.
You bring it to a stop just under his chin, tilting his head up exactly the way heâd done to you earlier as he releases a deep breath.
âMamaâŠâ he warns, but you only hum.
This isnât the first time this deadly weapon has made this an unofficial threesome, but it is certainly the first time youâve been the one to wield it.
You hate guns. You do. But you love Harryâs. The way he holds it. The way he handles it. The way he uses great care and great power.
Because thereâs something about seeing him with it. Seeing the way he controls it, controls the room. The way he holds someoneâs life in the palm of his handâŠ
Perhaps you should be concerned by how enamored you are by it. By him.
But not tonight. Tonight, you simply enjoy.
And from the look in his eye, he seems to be enjoying it, too.
After all, you know he loved watching you use it on Johnny. Know he almost had you right then and there, on Johnnyâs desk, before the mission was even through.
Heâs endlessly pleased with you, and you canât help but use this to your advantage.
So, with the weapon still taut to his clenched jaw, you lean forward and ghost your lips over his. âWhatâs the matter, Daddy? Does power make you weak?â
The twitch of his cock is answer enough.
You go in for the kill. With your fingers dancing over the trigger button, you lean back and dip down before dragging your tongue up the length of the barrel.
His eyes nearly roll back, and the sound that leaves his chest is euphoric. You think you might just kill him.
Because youâre slow. Meticulous. Licking every inch of the weapon until you finally reach the tip still tucked just beneath his chin.
ThenâŠyou kiss him.
And heâs so overwhelmed that he growls into your mouth, no longer threatened by the gun at his throat. Instead grabbing onto the back of your neck in order to squeeze it tight and keep you close. Devour you the way heâs been so frantic to.
You donât even realize that youâve begun to lower the gun until you feel it snatched from your grasp.
And pressed tightly to your clit.
The cold surface of the weapon against the warmest part of your body has you arching your back with a whimper. He has the upper hand once more, and heâs certainly not about to waste it. Mouth curling up into a satisfied, smug grin at the way your expression has gone hazy.
Youâve never looked at another man the way you look at him and he knows it.
âIs this what you wanted?â he asks softly, adding just enough pressure to make you whine. âAll fucking night? The moment you saw me? Saw my gun? Wanted me to fuck you with it?â
Your nails meet your chest, scratching down the frigid skin in a desperate attempt to find something to ground you.
His only response is to drag the tip of the weapon down just a bit further. Until he can watch it glisten in you.
âFucking looking at you,â he muses beneath a strained exhale, enamored by the way you subconsciously begin to grind on it. âSo desperate to feel it. To be fucked by it. And what if I do, hm? What if I fuck you with my gun right here in this alleyway?â
You only whisper his name and an airy, âPleaseâŠâ
âI thought about it,â he continues quietly, nose brushing yours as he slips the soaked barrel back up your cunt. âThought about ripping off this pathetic little dress and fucking you right in front of your precious fiancĂ©.â
You wish he had.
âYouâd have liked that, wouldnât you, mama?â His fingers drum against the handle. âYeah? I know you would. Would have loved to watch him watch me.â
And heâs not wrong. He hardly ever is when it comes to your darkest fantasies, and itâs just one of the many reasons why you love him.
âBut I had to wait,â he tells you now, finally pulling the gun away from your dripping clit until you nearly crumple to the cold concrete below. âBecause after all this timeâŠIâm the only thing that gets to fill you tonight, yeah?â
You simply nod again as he brings the gun back to your mouth with a proud grin.
And you know exactly what he wants, swiping your tongue all along the barrel and tasting every drop, every indication of your need for him. Swallowing it all as he watches proudly.
The moment youâre finished, he takes the gun and returns it to his pocket, tucking it away safely. Because heâs right again, and you need to feel him far more than youâve ever needed anything else.
So, you grasp onto his face and bring his lips to yours, allowing him to pick up right where he left off.
Because as much as you love the powerâŠyou love being weak for him more.
At least in moments like this.
He fills you and fucks you until youâre dizzy. Until you can taste the pleasure and the unraveling.Â
You make a show of it. A way to apologize for all the time lost. Trailing the tips of your fingers along your own chest and down your sternum until you notice you have his attention.
He watches you take your tit into your palm before youâre tweaking the hardened nipple with a soft whine. Allowing your head to drop back into the wall while you do it again and again.
And heâs an angry sort of infatuated. Groaning almost pitifully before kissing you again and easily swatting your hand away in order to do it himself.
But thatâs still not enough. So, you play your ace, and move your touch down to your clit in order to pinch it exactly the way he likes.
And itâs beautiful. The most exhilarating feeling, and this is what sends him over. The feel of your pussy clamping down on his cock, the sight of your fingers against your clit, the sound of your pathetic whimpers and pants as you cry out his name.
He fills you before he can stop himself, kissing you quickly as he releases into your aching, abused cunt.Â
Claiming you in more ways than one until you have no choice but to follow.
It rips you apart in the same way he ripped the dress. Until you see stars, and your back arches, and your toes curl. And everything makes sense.
He works to make it last for as long as he can, and once itâs all over, thereâs a soft, tender moment of silence as you work to catch your breath.
You forget about everything else. The sirens, the lies, the deceit. Even Johnny. You forget about it all.
Because you got more than a diamond necklace tonight.
You got Harry back.
After a second or two more, you lazily reach up to sweep some of his rogue curls from his forehead. Wanting to really see his eyes as he holds you tonight.
âHarry?â you whisper into the cold, dark alley.
He hums. âYes, mama?â
âI love you.â
And youâve never seen him so happy. âI love you more,â he breathes, kiss you again as if to cement this vow.
Eventually, the moment comes to pass, and you have to drop your leg back down to the floor and part from him. You find that your muscles are sore, and just a touch achey, but you donât even mind. Because itâs somehow just as deliciously pleasurable.
Harry works to readjust your dress and keep you covered; despite the way heâs ruin the expensive fabric. He offers you his jacket â insists on it. Wrapping it around your shoulders before you can even argue.
You smile as you snuggle into the warm material, feeling calmed by the familiar smell of him.
âThere,â he says as he looks at you before his head tilts. âJust missing one thing.â
Curious, you watch as he slips his hand back into his pant pocket in order to fish something out.
The necklace.
He hadnât told you about it before the mission. Only about the safe, and now you think youâre beginning to realize why.
He places it around your neck and readjusts the clasp until it can sit comfortably over your heart.Â
And you both look down as it sparkles from your chest, smiling together as though you truly canât believe itâs real.
âYou like it?â he whispers.
You grin so wide, your cheeks hurt. âI love it.â
He kisses you again, and itâs perfect.
Everything. All of it.
Him.
Suddenly, a loud toll echoes through the small town. The sharp chime coming from the clocktower in the town square.
Once, twice, three times.Â
Midnight.
âItâs Christmas,â you realize aloud as you and Harry both glance toward the clock.Â
His expression softens, and it makes your heart soar. âI guess it is.â
And thenâŠyou feel it. The first drop of something cold on your cheek. And then another. And another. And another. Gathering in your hair, getting stuck on his lashes.
Snow.
With a gasp, you look up into the dark sky as it dances down onto the quiet Chicago streets.
A rather perfect ending to a perfectly imperfect day.
And you wouldnât have it any other way.
With a soft giggle, you curl yourself under his arm and press your lips to his cheek. âMerry Christmas, Harry.â
He laughs, and youâve never been so happy.
âMerry Christmas, Mama.â
I'M SORRY THIS ONE GOT A BIT DARKER, IT WAS FUN BUT MOSTLY JUST FOR THE ERA ASPECT!! Thank you for reading if you did and letting me write something a little weirder đđ

Grassland Romance AU: Winter Winds
Summary: You've been slowly falling in love with Sylus, a strange outsider who joined your tribe some time ago. You haven't been able to pluck up the courage to say anything. However, when you are caught alone in the fiercest blizzard anyone can remember, it might not be up to you anymore.
AO3
CW: AFAB reader, no use of y/n, pet names (sweetie, little huntress), blizzard, hypothermia, hunting, nude spooning, 90% fluff by volume, sexual themes (but no sex), not proofread, melodrama (god so much melodrama).
Word count: 8k
Notes: poor Luke and Kieran have to be dogs in this AU.
âDonât be stupid,â you scoff, âhow can lemmings foretell the weather? Their brains are the size of grass seeds!â The bay mare youâre sitting astride shakes her head, before pawing through the watery, heavy snow on the ground to reach the hidden grasses underneath.
Today, as with most days, you are minding the herds with your friend Cota. The two of you are practically sisters, as her family had raised you after your parents perished when you were a young child.
âIâm not the one who said it!â She protests, leaning back to aim a kick at your foot succeeding at knocking it out of your stirrup. âIâm just telling you what Elder Shikigur said, and he said, âThereâs too many lemmings moving, there will be a large storm coming.ââ
You groan. Blizzards are a continual hazard of grassland winters. Harsh winds are able to scream across the treeless landscape with terrifying fury, tearing through even thick winter deels, and whirling snow into a blinding haze. Preparing for one means rounding up the flocks, reinforcing yurts to hold against wind and snowfall, and digging out of the yurts once the storm is through. Theyâre critical jobs that need to be done. That is, when the weather actually calls for it.
âItâs practically spring!â You argue, gesturing wildly to the half-melted pasture around the two of you, âItâs so damn warm, that I couldnât even wear my thickest deel today! I wouldâve been covered in sweat!â
Cota shrugs, âIâm just telling you what the elders were gossiping about.â
âWell, regardless of what they say, Iâm not taking out my winter deel again until next winter.â
âI bet you would if Sylus asked you to.â
You feel the color rise in your cheeks at the sing-song tease, and the mention of his name.
You aim a return kick at Cotaâs leg, but she reins her mare to the side in time to evade you. âI would not! And besides, heâs out with some of the others hunting pheasant, anyway.â
Cotaâs smile grows wider, âOh ho, so youâve been keeping track of which hunting parties he goes with, huh?â
An irritated groan leaves your throat as your friend laughs. âAren't you supposed to be heading back about now? I'll tell the elders you've been slacking to sit around and gossip.â
âAw, don't pout! It's cute, all your pining. You're going to have to do something soon though, otherwise some other girl is going to catch his eye at a festival, and then what will you do?â
âIâm pretty sure you're supposed to be helping with cooking right now, aren't you?â
Cota makes her own irritated groan, âNo one likes when I cook anyway!â
âBetter that than you sitting here and teasing me.â
She makes a rude gesture at you, and you return it.
"Fine,â she grumbles, âbut keep an eye on the weather, okay?â
âOf course, I'll let you know if the lemmings are oracles or not.â
Cota rolls her eyes with a scoff, before reining her horse around and trotting back to the village. Itâs good timing, you notice the right side of the herd has started to splinter a bit, and needs to be rounded back in.
As you go about your job, you canât stop your mind from pondering over your relationship with the strange man.
Sylus had come to the tribe as an outsider a few years ago. Strong and skilled in both riding and archery, heâd been welcomed into the fold immediately, seemingly to his own surprise. His striking appearance had immediately caught many eyes; tall, broad and strong in the chest, with eyes the color of freshly-spilled blood set in a devastatingly handsome face. The one criticism you heard of him was of his curt, reticent nature, that meant he constantly had a severe expression on his face.
Well, almost-constantly.
Within a month after joining the tribe, there had begun to be problems with a particular wolf picking off sheep in the night. It had always seemed to know where to attack, far enough away from any of the herders that it was impossible to reach him in time. It even managed to evade the vigilant Bankhar dogs, who kept constant watch on their flock, and rarely let a wolfâs presence go unpunished. The predator managed to evade everyone. Everyone except Sylus.
It had only taken two nights of Sylus on guard, before he returned in the early morning light, with the giant, tawny corpse of the wolf thrown over one shoulder. Heâd managed to kill it, in the dark, with a single arrow to its skull. The entire tribe had celebrated that night; an end to the nights of doubled watches in the dark and lost sheep. Wine and kumis had run freely that night, along with music and dancing in the center of the temporary village.
The wolfâs body had been set aside, to be skinned for the fur and used as linings and blankets to guard against the frigid winter months. Even in death, it still looked fierce, its fur sleek and body corded with lean muscle that reminded you of its killer. You had bent down to examine the bared teeth, sharp and white against the pale flesh of the gums. You reached out to draw your finger over one of the fangs, curious to see if it would be sharp like a knife, or blunt like one of the Bankhar dogs.
âDisturbing the dead?â
The deep voice, close enough to feel against the back of your neck, had you stumbling backwards, and gracelessly falling on your ass. A throaty chuckle came from above your head, and you had looked up to see Sylus, his face smug and scarlet eyes dancing with laughter.
âIt doesnât count if itâs a wolf,â You grumbled, pulling yourself off the ground, âass.â
His head was cocked to the side as you rose, finger tapping his cheek in mock-thought, âI thought a wolf was supposed to be the father of the first herdsmen? Wouldnât that make this creature here your cousin?â
âThatâs an old story, no one believes that.â
His answering smile was sharp, eyes darkening into a sneer. âIs that so?â He drew closer, close enough that you could feel his breath on your face, and feel the fabric of his deel brushing against yours. The gaze he cast down made you realize what a cornered sheep must feel like in the moments before jaws close around its throat. âI think thereâs more of wolves in people than you realize.â His growl was just as deep as the dogs when they scented a threat.
A part of you wanted to shrink down in your boots, make your excuses, and flee. But, a much larger, louder part of you was indignant. How dare this man sneak up on you in the dark, make you fall over in surprise, then have the audacity to growl at you like a beast?
So you had tipped your chin up defiantly, âBetter be careful. Apparently even the cleverest wolves get arrows in their heads.â
He had stared at you for a moment. Made a single blink. Then a strange, amused smile curled across his face. âAre you going to be the one to fire it, little huntress?â
âIf you donât back up, maybe I will.â
Sylus chuckled then, backing up a few steps. You released a breath you didnât know youâd been holding, body thrumming with⊠anxiety? Excitement? Both? You couldnât tell. To distract yourself, you turned your attention back to the kill.
âItâs kind of a shame, really. Itâs a pretty creature.â
His head cocked to the side again, though the curiosity in his eyes seemed to be genuine this time. âFeeling bad for the predator?â
âHe was just trying to live.â
He huffs a small laugh through his nose. âYouâre cute.â
âExcuse me?â You look at him, deeply irritated at his patronizing tone.
âMost animals that steal livestock are weak. Theyâre sick, or injured. Otherwise it just isnât worth risking the tangle with dogs or people. This one,â he gives the corpse a nudge, âwas perfectly healthy. Strong. But instead of using its smarts to take on saiga, or capercaille, it decided to take the easy way out. It never would have stopped, once it knew that it could fool the shepherds.â
You had sighed a little, knowing that in this instance, he was right. âI know. It still seems like a shame. But at least weâll stop losing so many sheep.â
You had looked up then to find Sylus staring at you with such intensity that you had taken a step backwards. âWhat?â
He blinked, the intensity dissipating as quickly as a strike of lightning. âNothing, sweetie.â
âSweetie?â Your nose wrinkled at the childish nickname.
He gave a small laugh, a mischievous glint coming to his blood red eye, âYou feel pity for a predator that would have snapped you up in an instant. Itâs very sweet, if maybe a bit naĂŻve.â
âIt sounds like something youâd call a toddler.â
âI suppose it does,â the glint was quickly accompanied by an equally mischievous curl to his smirk, âI suppose Iâll have to call you that when youâre acting like a toddler, sweetie.â
âUgh. Ass.â Youâd turned on your heel to return to the fire, trailed by the sound of deep, smug chuckling.
Since then, Sylus always seemed to show up near you, whether you wanted him there or not. And, at least at first, you certainly leaned more towards the former. He had a talent for approaching silently, getting that smugly pleased look from startling you into stumbling or squeaking. He also began to challenge you, goading you into contests or archery, or riding, or throwing knuckle bones. He was nearly impossible to beat, and even on the rare occasions that you won, he had the gall to look completely unbothered by your triumph.
Really, after a few months, you should have hated him.
But in between all of the needling and teasing and challenges, you began to learn more about Sylus. You learned that he enjoyed being out hunting or riding far more than he enjoyed being surrounded by people, even if they were praising him. You learned the long-limbed black stallion he rode when he first encountered your tribe had been declared untamable before Sylus had taken him. When one of the livestock dogs died shortly after having two pups, you even learned that (if he wanted to be) he could be downright gentle. Heâd done so well in helping care for the pair, that as they grew, they followed him everywhere and obeyed his every command. All of this new familiarity, so at odds with your first impression of him, had cultivated a quiet companionship between the two of you.
Even more surprising were the moments of softness, startlingly close to affection. When Sylus had sat drinking kumis with you on the new year, and youâd excitedly shared your hopes for what was to come, he listened with a quiet smile. Heâd brought you the furs from the wolf heâd killed when you caught a particularly nasty winter cold, and had even insisted you keep it after you recovered. When you met other tribes for trade, he often found you afterwards, giving you some ornament or silk from beyond the grasslands. Despite the fact heâd never admitted to it, you knew that when his two dogs accompanied you out into the grasses to watch the flocks, heâd commanded them to do so.
Maybe most importantly, heâd specifically sought you out to show you a den where wolf cubs were playing in the summer, knowing youâd like to see them tussle.
Theyâd been adorable, large paws and ears far too big for their fluffy bodies. The two of you had left your horses some yards away and sat down a bit distant from the pups, down wind and silent so as not to give your presence away. For a while you couldn't take your eyes off their energetic forms, tussling in the dust in front of the den, chewing on each othersâ ears, yelping and licking when it became too rough. Eventually you'd looked to Sylus to ask him something, but your eyes had fallen on the short, recurve bow at his side.
âYou're not going to kill them, are you?â You'd whispered
He raised an eyebrow at you in a wordless question.
You checked quickly to make sure the pups hadn't heard you. Fortunately, they still seemed to be involved in their own games.
âI mean. I know they're wolves. They might eat our flocks when they get older. But, they're just babies.â
He blinked at you, with an odd, expression you couldn't place. He rose soon after, walking silently away from the den. You'd followed him, confused.
âHey,â you hissed, âWhat are you doing now?â
âLeaving. One parent or the other would've been back soon to feed them. Then I would've actually had to use this.â He tapped the bow that was now slung over his shoulder.
âOh.â You murmured, realization dawning, âIs that what you brought it for? If one of the parents came back?â
âI certainly wouldn't have needed it to kill a fragile little pup.â He scoffed. âBesides, there's no use in killing something weak and defenseless. Though it's nice to know just how highly you think of me, sweetie.â
âThat's not-â a frustrated noise had escaped you as you struggled for words, âI don't think that of you. It just⊠others would have done that. To make sure they didn't grow up to prey on our animals.â
He turned to you then, with a gaze that seemed to be searching you, trying to find the truth of something. âAnd I'm âothersâ to you?â
âOf course not!â
He arched an eyebrow for the second time that day at the vehemence in your voice.
"You're the strongest warrior we have. And an infuriating opponent. But you're also the person who protects orphaned dogs. And brings me extra furs when I'm sick. And-â you stopped yourself before you could incriminate yourself further, taking a small breath to collect yourself. âYou're Sylus. Not⊠Others.â
There was a small silence between the two of you for a moment, as you walked over the flowing grasses together. The only sound was the occasional waves of wind across the landscape.
It was broken, only slightly, by Sylus repeating those words. âNot others.â He said them quietly, slowly, as though testing out strange words in a new language. When you turned to look at him, you caught a glimpse of a small, soft smile on his face. A look so deeply genuine, and beautifully content, it made your breath catch in your chest.
Things had begun to change after the day with the wolves. You were beginning to come familiar with the slight curve of his smile, his real smile. Instead of your usual irritation, the glint that so often came to his eye when he was planning mischief fanned a wave of warmth in you. You began craving the slight huff of breath he gave when amused with something youâd done. The deep chuckle he sometimes gave when his body drew close to yours made something strange and molten coil in your gut. When he was out hunting saiga, you found yourself unusually sullen and snappish. And when you heard people whooping and clamoring at the return of the hunting parties, youâd be jostling to the front of the small crowd to see him.
Youâd started to notice things though, in this time. The gossip among the elders as they cooked about when Sylus would marry, and whose granddaughter would be the lucky catch. The gaggles of women that followed him when heâd practice archery or spectate his races, giggling and blushing. Some of the bolder women would even bring him wine at the fireside and try to curl against him (you wished sometimes that heâd respond with more than amused chuckles at their ridiculousness, though it did produce a gratifying amount of insult in the rejected ladies). Last year at the games, you noticed heâd received pouches from women of every tribe. The smug look he gave you when heâd noticed you glaring at them had been insufferable, and you couldnât quite force yourself to congratulate him on the numerous offers.
And yet, Sylus remained alone. You didnât even notice other women entering his yurt (though youâd die before you admitted to watching for such). You didnât know what youâd do if he did take an interest in someone. The thought of someone else being transfixed by that soft smile in the quiet hours of the night made bile rise in your throat. But there was always the chance that he simply valued his freedom; and being rejected in favor of an ideal you could never match seemed just as nauseating.
You mull over these thoughts as you and your mare round the goats back to the group. Or, at least, attempt to. One of the damn things stubbornly refuses to rejoin the group. You can swear you see defiance in its eyes when it looks at you. Challenging you. Mocking, even. Every time you have it going the right direction, it turns and bolts in a random direction, leaving you and your bay sliding in the slush. You then have to catch back up to it, and start herding it back once more.
Youâre an excellent shepherdess, with a keen eye and a skilled hand with a bow. You've rarely lost an animal on your watch, and certainly never on purpose. But at this point, even you are beginning to think that losing one goat would really not be all that bad if it means this one wouldnât be part of the herd anymore. Besides, a wind is beginning to rise, a cold one that cuts through the previously-warm day like a freshly-sharpened knife. Youâre beginning to wonder if maybe the lemmings were smarter than youâd thought.
After one more, particularly long chase, you give in.
âFine then!â You yell at the animal, which stood watching you with unaffected eyes as it chewed grass, âyou want to deal with a blizzard alone? Go ahead! Iâll laugh when you end up as a goat-cicle! Laugh!â
With a huff, you turn your horse about, ready to gallop back to the herd, and start moving them to a more sheltered part of the pasture. The animals, however, have moved further away on their own. You can see the large dark mass of them in the distance, and you feel a slight unease in your gut. You're not sure how much you believe about oracle lemmings, but you know livestock well; They instinctively group up close when bad weather is imminent, and it seems that they are bracing for a storm now.
Even more worrying is the wall of iron-gray clouds you see blowing in. They're advancing rapidly, overtaking the sky at a pace you've rarely seen before. The wind, too, is beginning to blow so furiously it all but screams, whipping any unmelted snow up into the air.
You again feel that unease in your gut. The village is even further than the herd from where you are at the moment. Thanks to the previously warm weather, you're woefully unprepared to weather a blizzard alone. But both your other options are bleak; either try to make it to the village and hope there's not enough falling snow to make you lose your way, or try your luck with the herd and hope their bodies keep you warm enough to make it through. At least if you make it to the village, your survival is guaranteed. The same can't be said of the herd.
You rein your mare toward the direction of the village, just as the first volley of fresh snowflakes batter your face and hands. And despite your own dire situation, you can't help but think of Sylus, out with the other hunters. They may have arrived home already, and even if they havenât, their chances are good; the men should be able to find protection from the wind and cold in a group. Nevertheless, your gut twists with anxiety. Hunters rarely stay completely together. And even in the few minutes youâve been galloping towards the village, visibility is worsening. The gusts of wind have turned into blasts, ripping through your deel and chilling you to your bones. The blasts are also heaving the already-fallen snowflakes up to rejoin the fresh ones in the air, and creating moments where the landscape is inscrutable.
Between the moments of furious wind, you can see the outline of the village. Even as your heart pounds with hope at the sight, a needling numbness begins to take hold in your hands, making it difficult to keep hold of the reins. You try to switch hands; tucking one into the overlapping fold of your deel in an effort to keep it warm, before switching to the other. The biting wind, though, is so vicious and unforgiving, that it takes a mere few seconds for whatever warmth one hand has gained to be lost. At the same time, the numbness has taken hold in your feet, making it impossible to distribute your weight properly. The violent shivers as your body tries to warm itself are a further complication.
It only takes one misstep from your mare. One hoof landing on some uneven ground, causing her to stumble. And despite the high-backed saddle, and your best efforts, itâs impossible to keep your seat. You land hard in the snow. Itâs soft enough, at least, that youâre pretty sure nothing is broken. Not that it matters much. Lost and alone in the screaming wind, and featureless white storm, you are as good as dead.
It feels like an eternity that you lie there in the snow, body wracked by violent shivers in a last-ditch attempt to survive. Logically you know it canât have been more than a handful of minutes, since you are still alive and conscious, but time loses its meaning in a situation like this. Everything ceases to exist, save for the horrible wind and the bone-deep, soul-leaching cold. The snow is falling fast, fast enough that itâs already covered you as you try to huddle for a semblance of warmth. Youâve been buried alive, waiting to die as the world around you slowly quiets and darkens.
A morbid part of you wonders if the tribe will find you, once the snow begins to melt. You imagine Cota will insist they stay long enough to find your remains. You hope she doesnât feel guilty; neither of you couldâve known the storm would come on so fast. Your mind wanders to Sylus, too. Did the hunters make it back home before the storm hit? You pray they did; or at least they were together when the snow began to fall. The thought of Sylus in the same situation as yourself seems impossible. You have to believe itâs impossible. Entertaining any other idea strikes a dread into your heart as cold as your little tomb. You pray instead that heâs made it back, that he is safe, and warm. And, if youâre able to be a little idealistic, perhaps wondering where you are.
Quite suddenly, a sound shatters your quiet morbidity. Stark against the background of shrieking wind, there is a deep bark. Then another, closer. Soon, there is a constant barrage of the noises.
Hope burns bright in your heart. Maybe, just maybe, all is not yet lost.
You try to shift under the snow, trying to claw your way out of your icy grave. But your limbs are trembling so hard, so frequently, that controlling them is near impossible. Worse, your muscles are becoming weak. Soon theyâll be too exhausted to even shiver, much less move the heavy snow that entombs you. Nevertheless, you have to try. You must try. Because if you donât, your last hope of warmth will move on, and then you will truly be as good as dead.
Your efforts come to a halt when a startlingly loud crunching begins in the snow above and around you. It doesnât take long before the blanket of snow is lifted from your head, and a warm puff of air greets your face.
You open your eyes. And instead of a blinding white storm, your vision is filled with deep brown eyes set in a furry face as black as night. The same face that Sylus has sent to accompany you on night watches and sunny days alike. You smile at the familiar creature, despite the chattering of your teeth.
âH-hey, boy.â You whisper, your numb hand reaching up to sink into the dogâs deep fur. You can still hear his brother nearby, barking furiously above the wind.
Though Sylus knows them at a glance, you've never been particularly good at telling the two dogs apart by looks. They're both black, with intelligent eyes and powerful frames. In behavior though, they are slightly different. Gerel is louder, and more playful. Khar, though quieter, is definitely the smarter of the two. He's likely the one blocking your body from the worst of the wind, now.
You try to call Gerel over as his brother curls himself around your quivering body, but itâs too hard to draw a deep breath. Instead, you lean against the one lying on you, burying your face and hands against the one reprieve from the cold. You can think of nothing else but how good the slight amount of warmth feels, even as your fingers begin to burn slightly from the frostbite. It is a promising pain, one that feels of returning life rather than looming nothingness. You doubt it will be enough to truly save you, but at least you have some source of comfort now.
Eventually Gerel goes quiet, and you begin to worry he's become lost in the storm as well. You lift your face from Khar's fur, and try again to call his brother, but fail. Khar perks up, though, his massive tail wagging a fan-shaped dent in the snow. Perhaps he can smell his brother on the fierce wind?
A few moments later, you hear it. A deep, commanding voice that cuts through the shrieking wind like a blade, calling your name.
Sylus.
You donât know why heâs here, or if heâs even real. It may be an illusion conjured by your failing mind and body. It does not matter. Real or not, you must go to him.
You try to draw yourself up, try to call his name, but Khar remains a dead weight on you. You try to shove him, but your muscles are still shaking uncontrollably, making any efforts to dislodge Khar useless.
Please, you think desperately, please, I need to go to him. I need him, I need Sylus.
In the midst of your struggle with the animal laying on you, you very nearly miss the crunching of snow approaching you. Gerel soon appears, fur nearly white with the coating of heavy, wet snow that clings to him. And directly behind him is a sight that would make you weep if you had the breath for it.
It's Sylus. He's battered by the wind and ice as he wades through the fresh snow, only a step behind Gerel. His face bears a sharp, unwavering determination and ferocity that puts even this storm to shame as he wades through the drifts. His eyes, bright scarlet amidst the daunting white, lock onto yours. Only when his master is a single step away from you does Khar finally wiggle himself off of you. The wind immediately rips away all the warmth the dog has lent you. But you feel the loss only for a moment, as in the next breath, Sylus has yanked you bodily out of the snow and crushed you against himself.
âFound you,â his deep voice is quiet, heavy with an emotion you canât name. And oh, oh, even if this is a dream sent to ease your last moments, you do not care. There is no one youâd rather imagine at your side right now.
He releases you, only slightly, to tug off his own gloves and put them on your trembling hands. The heat that envelopes them makes your skin burn, and a whine that is half-choked by shivers bubble out of your throat.
âBear with it,â he murmurs, wrapping a thicker, warm deel over your current one, âYou wonât be able to beat me at archery if you lose your fingers, little huntress.â
Normally, you would call him an ass, berate him for worrying about losing his archery competitor as he gave you a smug smile for taking his bait. But you canât. Your mind is foggy, and all you can do is curl into him as he sweeps you up into his arms. You notice briefly that his eyes have narrowed again. He looks⊠irritated maybe? Angry? You arenât sure. Before you can think about it for very long, though, you are distracted by a sharp whistle from Sylus, shrill and sharp even over the unending wind. Itâs followed by a whinny, as his tall, powerful horse wades through the snow with a determination identical to his masterâs.
Sylus walks to meet the horse halfway. He says something, and then suddenly his arm drops out from under your legs. You stumble slightly, knees buckling under your own weight as your boots drop through the knee-high snow. You are strangely surprised when you don't hit the ground, and it takes you a moment to realize that Sylus has a hold on your waist, steadying you.
Oh. He was going to set you down. That's what he had said. Of course.
You look up at him, and find a hard expression on his face. Why does he look angry now? You donât understand.
His bright eyes bore into your own, cutting through the confusion for a moment. When his voice comes, it is a command, not a request.
âStay with me.â
You're not sure why he's saying this. It's not like you're going anywhere. All you want right now is to just curl up and sleep, back in his arms, if possible. But you nod anyway.
Sylus swings himself up onto his horse, settling himself behind the canticle. This again confuses you. You're supposed to sit on the seat. Not behind it. But before you can continue puzzling over this, Sylus has bent half-over, wrapped an arm around you once more, and hauled you up against the side of the horse. The pressure of it is uncomfortable, and you try to squirm out of the grasp. Sylus's hold is sure, though, and before you can break it, he's hooked the other arm under your knee, and lifted you up into the seat of the saddle.
You try to brace your legs, to keep your seat as the stallion begins to move beneath you, but your vicious shivers make it difficult to control your limbs, even for an action as instinctive to you as walking. Before you can falter though, Sylusâs arm wraps around you, holding you safe and steady against him.
You do your best to keep your eyes open against the biting wind and freezing snow. But the scant amount of warmth you can feel through the thickness of both your clothes, paired with the movements of the stallion slowed by the snow, is almost hypnotic. And you are tired, oh, so tired.
âYou lost this game,â he says, in that damn smug voice that always makes you want to punch his arm.
âGame?â
He gives an affirmative hum. âHide and seek. I found you, didn't I? That's another victory for me.â
You give a grunt of disgust, still not sure what he's talking about, but irritated by the condescension in his voice all the same.
âDon't be such a sore loser, sweetie.â
You don't know why you're even sitting on the same horse as him.
âA-ass,â you hiss around the waves of shivers. âSh-should. P-push off.â
The dark chuckle behind you is as alluring as it is infuriating. âI'd love to see you try.â
You do try, for a moment, pushing against his hold. But you are soon frustrated by how clumsy your movements are, and exhausted by the effort. Sylus's tight grip is immovable anyway.
âSeems I'm still on the horse, sweetie.â Comes the singsong mocking from behind you.
You give a grunt in response. You can't be bothered to be angry. All you can feel is the heavy tiredness dulling all your senses.
Sylus says your name, sharply. There's an odd tone to it. You don't care enough to think about why.
You're vaguely aware of being jostled. And then, for a while, you are senseless.
The damn shivering is what wakes you. It's so violent and pervasive that it drives the breath from your lungs, leaving you gasping between the waves of trembling to try and regain it. On instinct, you try to curl into yourself, but are unable to. In fact, apart from the tremors, you canât move your body at all. You seem to be surrounded by some sort of heavy mass, pressing on every inch of you. You struggle, pushing against the weight near your face to get some breathing room. The mass grunts, then moves away for a moment, freeing your head and upper body. You have only a moment of reprieve from the claustrophobia beforeâŠ
Something warm, wet, and slimy drags across your face.
âUr-rgh!â You bring a quivering arm up to rub away the slime.
A deep chuckle rumbles behind you, the breath of it close enough to make warmth fan across the back of your skull, âIs that how you thank Khar for helping to save your life, sweetie?â
Your eyes snap open at the familiar voice; although instead of the carmine eyes and seductive smirk you expect, your vision is filled (for the second time today) by pitch-dark fur and smiling brown eyes set in a distinctly canine face. Right as that same face applies another sloppy lick to yours.
âKh-khar!â You squeak, bringing your now-free arms up to protect your face from the onslaught of affection. âTh-thanks, but s-stop!â
Khar obediently jumps down from where youâre laying, though he gives you a pathetic whine. A further weight is removed from your lower half when Gerel reluctantly hefts himself off of you to join his brother on the floor, giving you a similarly dejected look.
Without Khar laying on you, you can see more of your surroundings. Itâs clear that youâre in a yurt, one that is unfamiliar to you. The only light source is the barely-visible fire crackling complacently in the small stove at the center, leaving much of the place in shadow. Is it night, then? Why are you here? And why do your hands and feet feel like they are burning?
You flex your hands between shivers in an attempt to stop the strange, tingling heat. If anything, that seems to make the feeling sharper, more biting in its ferocity. Shifting them out from underneath a heavy woolen blanket and furs to inspect them gives no answers, given the dim light.
âCan you still feel them?â Sylusâs voice, humorless this time, cuts through the slowly-lifting fog of unconsciousness and confusion.
âH-hurts.â
âGood, that means thereâs still life in them. Better than losing such pretty fingers to frostbite.â Memories come to you at the word âfrostbiteâ. They are hazy, as though recalling a dream several hours after waking; the dogs finding you in the snow, warming you and guiding Sylus to you through the blinding storm, Sylus carrying you in his arms, and keeping you upright in the saddle before you drifted into unconsciousness.
âSyl-â Your words are cut short. In trying to turn to face him, you realize that his powerful arm is curled around your waist.
Your naked waist. And at your back, you do not feel the rough texture of clothes; but instead the heated, sticky kind of softness of skin on bare skin.
Your body stills in shock; suddenly, you are horribly, wonderfully conscious of every inch Sylus has pressed against you: The firmness of his chest, the sharp jut of his hips, the tangle of his legs around and between yours, and (both the most enticing and mortifying of all) the warm, heavy weight of what must be his cock nestled against your ass.
That damned smug chuckle comes again, âI was wondering how long it would take you to notice. It took you a while; maybe I should be more worried about your head than your fingers, hm?â
You stutter a few times, as your mind comes to terms with your situation, before blurting in a rush, âWhere are my clothes, Sylus!? Where are yours!?â
âAh, you mean our freezing, sopping wet clothes?â His tone is almost sing-song in its blithe news, and bereft of any shame, âI took the liberty of removing them so that you didn't continue freezing to death.â
Somehow, his complete lack of any embarrassment heightens your own, as though your mind has determined to make up the difference between the pair of you. The heated panic in combination with exhaustion, confusion, and desire collide in a nerve-wracking swirl. You scramble wildly to get up, get away from this source of searing, tumultuous emotions. But the movement of your hands makes them burn as you try to gain purchase In the blankets and furs, and his arm around you is immovable as stone. âYou- I- Couldnât you have just thrown a blanket on me or- or something!? Gods, let go!â
He gives a derisive snort. âYou would have just frozen to death under a blanket instead of snow. You didnât have any heat left to trap, so I lent you some of mine. And no.â
âNo what?â
âI just risked my life in a blizzard hunting for you, and Iâm not about to let all my effort go to waste when Iâve already caught my prize. So, no, I will not be letting you go.â
âThis isnât- Canât you just put on some damned pants, at least?â
âHm, I could⊠but are you sure you want me to?â
âSylus!!â
He gives a full laugh at your flustered squeak, âOnce Iâm sure that youâve completely warmed up, I will. Until then, I suggest you stay still. Unless youâd like me to warm you up a different way. But Iâd suggest waiting until your hands have healed.â
He must be teasing, surely. Delighting in your embarrassment as always. Still, a tiny, idiotically hopeful part of you canât help but wonder⊠if you were able to see his face right now, would you see a small glimmer of want for you underneath the inscrutable mask? You dismiss the thought quickly. Even if you were able to see his face, youâd only see that damn self-satisfied smirk that makes your stomach twist.
âThe elders are going to be insufferable about this,â You mutter, desperate you lay those thoughts to rest. Well, as best as you can, considering Sylus is curled around you.
âSo what? Let them talk.â
âEasy for you to say. They wonât say anything to you; youâre the one half of them are looking to marry their daughters off to.â Youâre only aware of the venom in your last few words after theyâve already left your mouth. You pray Sylus doesnât notice.
But of course he does.
âJealous, little huntress?â You can hear the smile in his voice
âYouâre an ass, do you know that?â
âIâm hurt sweetie. I run out into a storm to find my poor, lost huntress, and in return she calls me an ass.â
He gives a mock-sigh, but something in his words raises a question in your mind. Sylus had been out with the other hunters just before the storm hit. You hadnât even been sure he would make it back to the village in time, but somehow he managed to find you?
âHow did you even know I was out there?â
Sylus pauses for a moment. His voice, once he does speak, is startlingly somber. âSome of the hunting group saw the cloud wall rolling in. We rode back as fast as possible. Even so, if weâd had further to go, the wind wouldâve outpaced us. Iâve never seen clouds that heavy and fast, outside of summer storms.â
âI tried to ride back too, when I saw them. But with the cold, I couldnât feel my hands, and the rough groundâŠâ You trail off, fully prepared to be teased about your riding skills. Instead, you feel an ever-so-slight tightening of his arm around you. You wonder if heâs even aware of his own movement.
Sylus continues, âWhen we arrived, people came out to greet us and help get everything secured before the worst of the storm. I didnât see you throwing people out of the way like usual.â
âI do not throw people out of the way,â You mutter.
âIf you say so, little huntress.â You can hear the smile in his voice for a moment, though it disappears when he continues, âI found Cota, and asked where you were. When she said you were out shepherding, I knew you wouldnât make it back before the snow came. So, I took Khar and Gerel, and had them track you.â
âWas anyone else missing?â
âWeâll find out after the storm.â
The two of you are quiet for a moment, as you process his response. He didnât notice anyone else was gone. He didnât ask to see if any others were lost. He didnât bother to try and search for anyone else in the snow.
He noticed you were missing.
He asked where you were.
He went into the storm for you.
âYou⊠Sylus, were you out in that storm, just to find me?â
A small, humorless huff of laughter fans across the back of your skull again. âI wasnât out there just taking a stroll, sweetie.â
âYou couldâve lost Gerel and Khar. And your horse. And your life.â
âWorried about me, hm?â
Of course you were. Sylus is a strong, clever man. Perhaps the greatest warrior and hunter your tribe has known; but even the greatest of mortals are brought to their knees by the forces of nature and the whims of chance. You want to tell him all this, tell him that the thought of him standing alone amidst the howling winds, searching for the path to safety⊠even just thinking about it makes your chest feel as empty and cold as the storm still raging outside. Your breath catches, and you cannot force the words, glutted with feelings as they are, out of your throat.
So instead you reply, âItâs a big risk to take.â
âMaybe.â His tone is nonchalant, as though he is talking about what heâd brought home from hunting, rather than the act of risking his dearest possessions and life trying to save you in near-hopeless conditions. âBut I donât gamble unless the prize is worth the risk.â
It takes you a moment to digest the words, heart caught in your throat, hardly daring to believe that youâve understood him correctly. A fragile but brilliant hope lights in your chest. You had been aware of the friendship that had begun to form between you and Sylus, and you had been aware of your desire to be something more to him, to be someone he wanted. But you hadnât dared to imagine occupying a position of such value to him.
âYou think Iâm worth all thatâŠ?â
You donât mean to say the words aloud, but the exhaustion loosens your lips just enough for them to spill out. Immediately your stomach lurches at a strange, shifting fear. Perhaps speaking the thought aloud has crossed some sort of line, daring the universe to snuff out your hope just as it had been lit.
A soft, teasing lilt returns to his voice as he speaks, âI believe thatâs what I just said, little huntress. Hm, maybe I should be more concerned about your head.â The hand that isnât curled around your middle gives the top of your head a soft tap, tap, tap.
A small, breathless laugh bubbles up out of your chest, the hope within you flaring bright and making your heart race. You donât know how he manages to do it; to convey something as heartfelt as âyou are worth risking my life and all I hold dearâ, while simultaneously sounding like itâs the most simple thing in the world. Something that should be obvious even to a small child.
Itâs a special talent youâve noticed in Sylus ever since that day with the wolf pups; he makes you want to throttle him one moment, and in the next breath heâll speak with such sincere simplicity that it utterly disarms you. He somehow manages to walk that fine line between keeping you on your toes with bantering, and keeping you grounded with his forthrightness. It's addictive. It's comforting. You're not even sure if it's something he tries to do, or if his natural state of being is just something that draws your soul in effortlessly.
You need to face him.
You turn in his grasp to look at him, trying to ignore the burst of prickling heat in your hands. It's worth the pain. Sylus is a striking picture in the low light; all silvery tousled hair, gold skin, and sanguine eyes, graced by a rare look of surprise for just a moment.
And then his face relaxes into a soft look, one you've started to see more and more, but never fails to make your heart race faster than a horse galloping over the grass sea.
âThere you are,â he murmurs, voice rough and low. And you simply cannot help it. Frostbite be damned. You might die if you don't kiss him, and you've come close enough to that today already. You have to kiss him.
The press of your lips against his is insistent, but chaste. At least, at first. Sylus takes in a sharp breath, and for a fraction of a second you wonder if you've misread, if you've pushed too far. And then, his mouth becomes soft, and pliant, and something in your chest melts when the arm he has around you slides up your spine to press at the nape of your neck, leaving gooseflesh in its wake. A pleased sigh escapes you, unbidden. Before you are quite aware of your own movements, your hand is at his jaw, cupping his face, trying to pull him closer.
A new flare of pain sears your hand at the pressure, and you reflexively pull away with a hiss.
You open your eyes (when did they close?) to see Sylus, pupils blown wide, looking at you with that same sort of ferocity and determination you saw in him earlier, when your eyes met his in the storm. And for a moment, caught in that unwavering intensity, you swear your heart forgets how to beat.
His eyes remain fixed on your own as he takes your wrist and gently (too gently) moves it away from his face, which has settled back into its usual near-arrogant smirk. Reality crashes in on you then. You are in Sylus's yurt, kissing him, sharing a bed, naked. The realization is followed by a disorienting mix of embarrassment, pride, shame, and excitement. You've just kissed him for the first time, and you know if it weren't for the pain in your hands you would have taken as much as he would give you. Begged for it, maybe. What does he think of you now? How much would he let you take? What would you tell everyone once you left here?
But as usual, when your mind threatens to whirl itself into chaos, Sylus cuts through it.
âI'll have to collect on that part of my prize later, little huntress,â He murmurs, and you wonder if it is merely your imagination, or if he is actually as breathless as you are. His thumb strokes across the soft skin at the underside of your wrist, across the vein where your pulse is thrumming like a caught hare's. âI want to see what those pretty hands can do to me when they're all healed.â
Hearing him say it out loud makes the embarrassment resurface with a vengeance, and the barely-leashed heat in Sylus's gaze makes it unbearable. Breaking the stare, you take your hand back and shuffle under the blankets once more, until the hem falls across your cheek.
Sylus's amused chuckle earns him a glare from you, but your indignation is quickly soothed over as he drags his fingers through your hair, across your scalp, gently untangling the strands. After a few minutes, the gentle scratching opens the door for a wave of exhaustion, heightened by the warm darkness and the muffled howling of the winter winds outside.
You wonder, vaguely, if the touch was meant in apology, or to make you drowsy. You're not sure it matters. Sylus is here, looking at you with that affectionate, soft smile, as your lips begin to flutter.
âSleep, shevonica,â is the last thing you hear before drifting into unconsciousness. This time, in the safety and warmth of Sylusâs hold.

Hi! I feel so blessed to have found your blog, your fluff is top tier đ«¶đ» Can I please request fluff for Kakashi x fem!reader where they take their son (who looks exactly like Kakashi) to meet Team 7 and they're all enamoured by baby Kakashi and how happy he is with wife reader? I feel like it'd be so cute~ I hope that's an alright request. Thank you so much! đ
author's note: this is such a cute request and it has been sitting in my drafts for a while, since I have been waiting to be in the right mood for it! It was such a pleasure to write it and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Thank you for requesting! <3
If there was anything Konoha did best, it was celebrating.
Compared to many of the other villages, the Leaf had some form of a festival almost every month. The first Sakura trees have blossomed? Celebration. The war is won? Celebration. The Hokage has a birthday? Celebration. 6 months without any outside threats? Celebration.
For the outsiders these constant festivities were both bizzare and a bit foolish. They could only imagine how much money were spend from the yearly budget, yet somehow the village blossomed economically. The other Kages tried to ask Lady Tsunade more than once in the past how exactly do they manage to do that, but they could never get anything more than a smug smile from her.
You, unlike your husband, loved a good party. During events like this everything felt different - the people were happier, the streets were busier, even the air felt more fresh! You have been waiting for the Spring festival for a while now - not only because you loved trying all the delicious street food, but also because this year you were taking your baby with you.
Being only a few months old, your son was an exact copy of Kakashi. His hair, his eyes, his nose, his lips, even the way he pouted was absolutely the same as your partner. There were times when you sat next to his crib, looking at him for hours, trying to find at least one thing in his appearance that he may took after you. While there were none, you found solace in the fact that he showed at least some traits of your personality - the main one being obsessed with Kakashi, of course.
As you watched your husband gently rocking your child in his arms and whispering sweet words to him, you couldn't stop the smile from spreading wide on your lips. Kakashi hasn't noticed your presence by the door yet, too busy booping your baby's nose and listening to his happy laughter.
He was definitely the favourite parent.
"I can't believe I carried him for nine months and I am still the second best in his eyes", you finally said, making Kakashi whip his head in the direction of your voice. He smiled sheepishly at you, his one free arm extending for you to take.
"You know that is not true, my dove", he tried to reassure you, his attention moving back to the bundle of joy who kept twitching in his grip, "No one can replace mommy! Isnât that right, little man?"
Almost if understanding his words, the baby turned toward you, reaching one of his small hands toward your face. You immediately melted at the gesture, before carefully grabbing it in yours and lying numerous small kisses on his little fingers.
âDo we really have to go?â, your husband groaned, looking at you pleadingly. If it was up to him the three of you would stay in your house, enjoying a cosy evening just playing and goofing around the living room. With his new role as a Hokage, your time together was limited anyway and he liked to grab any chance he got to spend a few hours with you at home.
âYou were the one that promised Naruto you would finally let him see the babyâ, you cocked one of your eyebrows and Kakashi immediately shut his mouth, knowing he cannot argue further.
Even since you told Team 7 that you are pregnant, Naruto has shown an enormous enthusiasm about welcoming the baby. He self proclaimed himself âthe best uncle to ever existâ and has bought dozen of plush toys and clothes before you even found what the gender is. Both you and Kakashi found this amusing, yet cute, promising him that he would be one of the first people to see your son once he is born.
However, things didn't go as planned and since he was on a mission outside Konoha for the last three months and a half, Naruto was now one of the last people to meet your child. Sakura has asked you countless of times during this period to let her and Sasuke come to your house, but feeling it was unfair to Naruto, you refused every single time.
Now that the blonde was back, however, all three were eagerly waiting to meet the young Hatake.
Kakashi gently passed you the baby, while he went to the corridor to grab the baby carrier wrap he liked to use. One thing about your husband was that he absolutely refused to use a pram.
"It is safer for them to be close to me", he often said, not even hiding his overprotectiveness. Despite your baby already being the village's favourite, he only allowed people to watch him, but never touch him or hold him. It was almost like your son was some kind of a rare jewel, which was so delicate, it had to be admired from a far. And while you found Kakashi's behaviour funny, he was being very serious about it, going as far as to glare and hiss a warning at Guy and Genma every time they tried to pinch your baby's chubby cheeks.
Once the little one was safely wrapped against your partner, you both made your way toward the village centre, where you could already hear music sounding. The streets were flooded with both adults and children, who were all eager to try some foreign food and watch special performances. Every year there were entertainers coming from different lands, performing traditional songs and dances from their cultures. While you knew you couldn't stay for all of them, since you had to put your child to bed quite early, you were excited to see at least some.
You felt one of Kakashi's arms wrapping around your waist, pulling you closer to him, while he shielded your son's body with the other one. While there were none real threats or risk for any of you, the amount of people made the man anxious. You were just about to grab his hand and try to make him relax, when Naruto's loud voice sounded from somewhere in front of you.
"Kakashi-sensei! Y/N! Over here!", he waved his hands energetically in the air, while both Sasuke and Sakura looked away embarrassed from his behaviour. Your smiled at the blonde, waving back, while your husband couldn't do anything else than let out a sigh.
Once you were a few meters away, the Uzumaki ran toward you, his whole face lighting up once his eyes met those of your son. He pushed past you, without even paying any attention to you, before leaning his head close to the baby's.
" Kakashi! That's your twin, dattebayo!", he shouted and moved his finger between his sensei and your son. Kakashi flicked his hand away, glaring harshly at his student. You sniffled a laugh, before you felt Sakura's hand on your shoulder. Turning around, you offered a smile to both her and Sasuke.
"Don't touch, step back and only watch from a distance", Kakashi instructed, his eyes narrowing at Naruto. The blonde, however, didn't acknowledge his words in any way, instead turning toward you.
"Can I hold him?", he asked, his blue eyes sparkling.
"No!", Kakashi immediately answered for you and you rolled your eyes at your husband, before moving toward the males.
"Of course you can!", before your husband can protest, you gave him a stare and he reluctantly picked up your son from the carrier wrap. He held him in his hands for a few more seconds, eyeing Naruto with suspicion.
"Be very, very, VERY careful!", he said, while passing the wriggling baby to the boy's stretched out arms, "And make sure to support his head! No, not like that... Naruto, I swear to Kami-"
You cut off the white haired male's rambling by wrapping your arm around his waist and placing your head against his shoulder. The Uzumaki was doing just fine, but Kakashi being Kakashi started to panic just at sight of someone else holding your little treasure.
The baby seemed to like the blonde, as he giggled, stretching his small hand toward his face. Sakura, who has been patiently waiting for her sensei to relax a bit, immediately rushed to her teammate's side, uncapable of controlling herself longer. She wriggled her forefinger in front of the child's face, her heart melting once he caught it.
"Hello, little one! I am auntie Sakura!", the baby grinned at her with its toothless smile and she let out an "aww" sound, before turning to you and your husband, "Kakashi-sensei, he really is your exact copy! Y/N, are you sure that's your child?"
You laughed at her joke, before shrugging your shoulders and pressing yourself closer to Kakashi.
"Trust me, I ask myself that every single day!"
Finally tearing your gaze away from Naruto and Sakura, you looked over to Sasuke, who remained frozen in his place. His eyes were focused on the little baby and there was a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips, but unlike his teammates he maintained a safe distance. Feeling someone was watching him, he turned his head in your direction, his cheeks going bright red once he realized you caught him staring.
"Sasuke", you smiled at him and everyone's attention went to the Uchiha, "Do you want to hold him too?"
The dark haired male gulped, his eyes widening. He nervously scratched his shoulder, his gaze going down to his feet.
"I...", he became silent, stealing one more glance at the baby. You found it almost amusing how he was a fearsome ninja that could take dozen of enemies at the same time, yet he felt scared to hold a tiny human.
Looking over at Naruto, you nodded your head, signalling him to pass your son to Sasuke. The blonde let out a huff, dragging his feet toward his teammate.
"Be careful! And hold the head!", he warned the Uchiha, who rolled his eyes in response.
"I know how to hold a baby, dobe! I am not stupid!"
"Language!", Kakashi warned next to you and you looked up at him, only for him to shake his head. It must've been hard dealing with these two for so many years, yet you knew your husband wouldn't had it any other way.
At this moment, surrounded by so much love and happiness, you felt like you finally had everything you wanted in life - an amazing husband, a healthy child and enormous support by anyone around you. If you could choose to re-live only one moment of your life, it would be this.
"You okay, my dove?", Kakashi whispered and you nodded your head, laying a small kiss on his covered chin.
"Never been better."
Unbeknown to you, all of Team 7 smiled at both of you, admiring how happy their sensei was. After decades of suffering and loss, Kakashi took the leap of faith and opened his heart to you. While he was unsure in the beginning if he was ready to be with someone and have a family, looking back he was glad he did.
Pulling down his mask, he laid a soft kiss on your forehead, before nuzzling his nose against it.
"I love you."
"I love you more."

Maslenitsa is one of the most famous old folk festivals, which is still celebrated today. The celebration lasts for a whole week: these days people bake pancakes and burn effigies (pyro: YIPPIEEEE) to see off winter and welcome spring.
I love Maslenitsa so much! This feast is very cozy, and most importantly very delicious! So I decided to draw an illustration where Heavy brought warm pancakes to the Medic in cool weather.

Heatwave
Pairing: Gale x Fem Tav
Summary: It is the final social event of the summer season, and Tav has dressed poorly for a festival in the midst of a heatwave. One-shot.
Warnings: Oral Sex, Vaginal Sex, Sweat-licking, Smut.
Word Count: 3.9k
A/N: Another smutty Austen inspired work with a bit of fluff! This time in a universe outside of BG3. There definitely seems to be a weather theme in these one-shots. Maybe they'll fuck in the snow next, who knows?
The Festival of Shieldmeet had dominated conversations throughout the city all summer long. With the event occurring only once every four years, the anticipation had reached a fever pitch, rendering even the sweltering heatwave a minor inconvenience. The idea of postponing or, heaven forbid, cancelling such a revered social event due to something as minor as the weather was simply inconceivable.
The festival was being held in the sprawling grounds belonging to some Lord or Lady who had earned the privilege of hosting. In the heart of a large, manicured, bloom-laden garden stood a bandstand where bards were tuning their instruments, ready to serenade the guests with summer melodies. Alongside it stretched a long table adorned with dishes piled high with the richest Waterdhavian delicacies. Attendants in crisp uniforms weaved through the crowds, bearing trays laden with sparkling drinks in tall glasses, as well as refreshing juices and icy water. There also seemed to be tables scattered around with trays stacked with rolled up flannels sitting in ice, patiently waiting to be scooped up and dabbed at the forehead of the sweltering guests - These seemed to be a welcome addition, as there was scarcely any shade to be found anywhere.Â
Tav found herself in a state of utter misery. Seeking solace from the stifling crowds, she had retreated to the embrace of the shade beneath an oak tree bordering the garden, where she fervently fanned herself out of sight. She had naively and desperately assumed that the shade would cool her, but despite the protection from the sunâs direct attention the air was still just as cloying, and squeezed her with suffocating stillness. What she wouldnât give for even the whisper of a breeze. The sad little paper fan she had acquired was doing very little work for her, just pushing the warmth forwards and heating her even further in her efforts to keep it moving.Â
For some inexplicable reason she couldn't recall, she had chosen to don her finest silk gown over a whalebone corset. It hugged her curves with an unforgiving grip, accentuating her form and lifting her breasts. With a smile as wide as her hips, she had admired herself in the mirror before departing. However, that smile faded the moment she stepped out of her cooled carriage and into the searing heat of the midday sun. She had immediately noticed the guests dressed in garments far more suited to the occasion than her own.
What a foolish notion this had been, she mused, wiping a bead of sweat from her brow. She had no idea what had driven this madness. Well.. she thought as she peeked out from behind the tree and across at the crowd gathered in the garden, maybe she had a slight idea.Â
Gale Dekarios was an exceptionally handsome man who exuded infuriating arrogance, boundless pride, and endless charm. From their first encounter at the spring ball, he had claimed her attention at every subsequent event. She had âaccidentallyâ stepped on his foot during one of their early dances, after he had explained to her his proficiency with magic and his gallant willingness to at least try and teach her some of his simpler spells. He had laughed at her annoyance, apologised profusely, and kissed her hand at the end of the evening. She had been aflame ever since.
Throughout the season, they had fallen into a familiar routine. Their ritual involved stealing glances at one another, offering subtle gestures of acknowledgment, and then both making a concerted effort not to meet eyes again. Yet, inevitably, one of them would find themselves drawn towards the other. It was a dance of restraint, leaving Tav exhilarated each time, despite the exhausting choreography. She was never really sure who was leading the dance, but at this moment, sweating and flustered and hiding behind a tree, Tav decided it probably wasnât her.Â
As each evening would draw to a close, he would always bid her goodnight with a kiss upon her hand, each time lingering longer than the last, and tell her how much he was looking forward to their next meeting. Upon returning home, Tav would often find herself lost in fantasies, imagining his hand tangled in her hair, his lips tracing the curves of her body. More often than not, these night-time reveries ended with her own desperate touch and his name cried out from her lips.
In the privacy of sweet slumber, she would dream of their next encounter, eagerly anticipating another opportunity to engage in their dance and hoping to step on his feet once more.
Maybe she had more magic in her than she realised, as her very thoughts appeared to have summoned him to her hiding place.
âAh, Miss Taventon. I thought I spotted you retreating all the way out here.â He greeted her with his customary charm. As always, he was a vision to behold, with his dark, mischievously glinting eyes and sweeping brown locks pulled back from his face. Clad in simple yet impeccably tailored attireâa snug waistcoat over a pristine white shirt, adorned with a luxurious silken cravat, and well-fitted breeches. Frustratingly, he looked completely unaffected by the blistering warmth, and Tav thought she must look like a sweating, breathless fool in comparison. She only had time to be embarrassed momentarily, before she realised the precarious nature of their situation. For the first time, they were properly alone together and Tav blushed at the thought of being found with him behind a tree so far away from the party. There would be a scandal.Â
âMr. Dekarios, a pleasure.â She looked around to try and see if anyone would catch them in their compromising seclusion, but it appeared they were safe for now. âIâm afraid youâve caught me a little affected by the heat. I was just after a moment of respite.â She began to fan herself more fervently.
âUnderstandable, I'm sure. For one not versed in magic.â His smugness had returned, and Tav always treated it as a welcome challenge.
âWell, not all of us are as exceptional as youâ She batted her eyelashes at him sweetly and took in his cool, handsome appearance. âLet me guess, enchanted clothing?â He bowed his head in confirmation of her appraisal, still looking smug and annoyingly unflustered by the heat. âA shame it could not chill your ego, but alas, I suppose your talent has to end somewhere.âÂ
His smile in return was genuine. He very much enjoyed her banter. Almost as much as he enjoyed seeing her sweating under the shade of the giant oak tree.Â
He raised a hand in mock defeat. âPeace, my lady. I came bearing a gift. In an effort to cool your skin, and perhaps even your temper.â She really was ravishing in this state, he thought, overheated and fiery. He wondered whether she was aware of his true intentions in seeking her out. It was the final event of the summer season, and as such, their elaborate game would have to come to an end.Â
As she reached out to accept the cool towel he offered, a surge of boldness seized him. With a swift motion, he closed the distance between them until he was almost pressed against her, and with a tender touch, he placed the cold flannel against the side of her neck. He had hoped it would elicit a reaction from her, at the very least a small gasp of surprise, but she remained silent. She just watched him as the droplets from the towel trailed slow down her neck, caressing her collarbone in the way his fingers ached to, and gathering to rest glistening on the shelf of her breasts which had been pushed up by her corset.Â
He had thoughts of ripping it off her. The silk of her dress would tear like tissue in his practised hands, and he would cast the tatters of it into the wind and spend an entire afternoon finding where the pools of her sweat gathered. He ached to know what undergarments she was wearing, what colour, how the material would taste if he pressed his tongue against. It. He hoped it was white cotton, something the scent and taste of her would cling to - so damp with sweat and desire that he would be able to see her dark curls through the material.Â
He could feel the cooling enchantment wrapped round him waning as his concentration and resolve were tested. Damn heat. Damn woman. She knew exactly what she was doing. Who wears a silk-wrapped corset in a heatwave? Each bead of sweat and whisper of her heated musk was a sirenâs call, and he was determined to drown himself in the ocean of her.Â
âI am no expert in fashion, Miss Taventon, but I must question the decision to wear a silk gown in such conditions. Surely linen, or cotton would have been preferable? Or maybe one enjoys the sensations brought on by basking in such stifling heat?â His tone was more frustrated than he meant it to be.
âI thought it would be light and cooling, Saer. Not all of us are gifted with the ability to enchant our clothing.â She narrowed her eyes at him, and wondered if every item he was wearing was enchanted.. She quickly snapped out of her musings âAn unfortunate error on my part, I hadnât taken into account the lack of breeze, or theâŠâÂ
âStickiness?â He said, focusing intently on dabbing her neck and chest with the flannel and not meeting her eyes.
âThe humidity. Yes.âÂ
He took a break from his attentions and discarded the flannel, to take a leisurely sip of his drink. The droplets of condensation cascaded down the glass like tiny beads of sweat. Tav couldn't help but watch, a pang of envy stirring within her as she observed the icy water slip downwards and through his fingers. There was too much electric heat here, strung out in the very air, no amount of cool water would save her. She needed to be swathed by him, to smother the flames until they burnt out into ash. Even then, she was certain there would be embers enough to fan back to roaring flame at just one breathy word from him. She was doomed kindling.
The soft clink of ice against glass filled the air as he drank, his gaze never wavering from hers. With intent, he parted his lips slightly, allowing a single ice cube to slide into his mouth. She couldn't tear her eyes away as he savoured it, rolling it around his mouth with his tongue.
âMost refreshing.â He breathed, after a long, heavy swallow, âCould I tempt you with a sip?âÂ
âI..Maybe.. This heat has caused quite a desperate thirst. Although I notice you have only brought one glass. How impolite of youâ She dropped her fan to the ground in vexation, stupid thing was not doing anything to help. There was no saving her now.
He smirked and bowed his head slightly. âNot to worry, dear lady.â His eyes darkened and his voice became a heated command. âOpen your mouth for meâ
At first there was shock, but then without question she did as she was told, like a girl entranced. With a deft movement of his fingers, he plucked another ice cube from his glass and placed it delicately on her waiting tongue.Â
Tav saw a chance and took it.
Before he could withdraw his hand, she wrapped her fingers around his wrist, and the surprise in his eyes lit her like a firework. She burned for these moments, for any slip in his resolve, any evidence behind the refinery and politeness that there were things she could do that would shock him. If there was a crack in his armour, she would slip in like water and drown him in sin.
Locking eyes with him, she held his gaze steady as she took control. With a boldness she hadn't known she possessed, she leaned forward and enveloped his fingers in her mouth, sucking gently and letting the ice cube melt against her tongue in a sweet rush of cold. It was a calculated move, a daring play, and as she released his hand, a flicker of satisfaction fluttered in her eyes. The game was afoot, and she was changing the rules.Â
She let go of his fingers, and smiled innocently. âHow right you are as always, Mr.Dekarios. Most refreshing.â She lilted, still sucking on the remnants of the ice in her mouth.Â
He had suddenly lost his footing. The blood that was keeping him focused and leading their little game had suddenly re-routed elsewhere, and he was struggling to compose thoughts. He had no words, so actions would have to do.
He drew closer to her, the space between them shrinking, and he reached out his hand to trace a delicate path from the warmth of her flushed cheek, along the elegant curve of her jaw, down to the hollow of her throat. There, just above the gentle rise and fall of her bosom, he noticed a glistening bead of sweat, which he captured with his fingertip. Bringing it to his lips, he savoured it, and made a noise of growling satisfaction. Her breath hitched beautifully in response.
"It appears you're still uncomfortably warm. I'd hardly be a gentleman if I allowed you to suffer like this." With a languid sip of his drink, he popped another ice cube into his mouth.Â
âYou are noâŠâ Â
He aimed to catch off guard before she could finish. He closed what little gap was left between them and all playfulness burned away in the heat, leaving nothing but desperation. Fuck games, fuck dancing around each other, and fuck that ridiculous silk dress she was wearing. She had won their game, and her prize would be for him to take her the way he had been wanting to for the entire summer.Â
His glass fell to the ground with no thought at all, and he grabbed at her waist. Pushing her back against the tree and pinning her there with a leg between her thighs. He finally earned a gasp of surprise from her, as he pushed his lips against her throat, and pressed the ice cube against her pulsing skin with his tongue.Â
The noise she made was tantalisingly balanced between relief and desire, and he kept the ice firmly against her as he moved it further down her neck, mimicking the trail of sweat his finger had traced earlier. He delighted in the way her skin prickled as the ice caressed her. She was divine. He wanted to tease her until she lost all of her brazen stares and cutting banter, and all that was left was a puddle of a woman. He wanted to undo her the way he would her clothes, and watch her fall apart under his hands, his tongue, the push of his hipsâŠ
"Someone... Will..." Her voice came out in gasping pleas as he continued caressing her with the ice. "Find us..." He needed to remove that damn corset soon; restricted breathing wasn't conducive to the way he wanted to hear her cry out for himâ completely unbound. A fleeting desire crossed his mind to restrain her in other ways, at other times. But for now, he simply needed to see how the heat had flushed her body, with as little material between them as possible.
âYou think I would allow anyone else to see you like this? I am not a man who shares his treasure.â His cocky little grin made a slight reappearance as he pulled his lips away from her damp skin to meet her eyes and offer some cooling sincerity. âA spell has been cast, no one will see nor hear us. You are safe with me, my dream. Always.â
He lost himself to a moment of softness, and caressed her face with total adoration.
âI have craved the taste of you all summer. The sun itself could not burn me in the way you have. I am a scorch mark, I am the cindered ashes of all restraint. You are my sun. And no one else will gaze upon you the way I will.â
There was no response adequate to match the sudden delicacy of his words, leaving Tav momentarily speechless. In that fleeting moment of enraptured, adoring silence, Gale misunderstood her reaction, his beautiful face falling with concern, fearing he had unwittingly caused her distress.
âTell me you do not desire me, that this soft heat inflaming you is not at least partly caused by your feelings for me. Tell me I have imagined your eyes searching for me, your playful need for my hands on you as we dance, and I will leave it at this. I will have spent a summer loving you, and it will have been the brightest and warmest of all my seasons.âÂ
He loved her. The air suddenly felt lighter. He was the breeze she had been craving.Â
Her bright smile cracked through the initial shock of his confession, and relief swept over him like a tide. âI know you have a vivid imagination, Mr. Dekarios. But put it away, it is not needed here. I have attended each event only in the hope of being in your presence. It seems we both have had a summer well spent.â She kissed him then; sweetly, lovingly and he laughed enough for the crinkles between his eyes to appear.Â
It did not take long for the damned dress to be torn from the skin of her sweat-slicked body. For the corset to be ripped from its bindings. For the softness of her breasts to find their place against his tongue, nipples peaking as though the heat didnât exist, his hot breath and cool tongue creating a heady mix of magic which made her skin sing.Â
Tomorrow, there would be rough marks on her back from the bark of the tree - but for now the slight pain only added to the overwhelming sensations which crawled their way over her body, her sweat mingling with his as he tore off his shirt and pressed himself against her. Caging her against the trunk. His skin was cool against hers, and steam danced between them as though melted steel was being forged by cool water. He was hard, she could feel it.Â
His tongue flattened at her skin of her neck and her breasts, and licked away the lust-induced sweat his affection had caused. The fresh, salty taste may as way have been laced with liquor for the effect it was having on him. She tasted of sweet wine with the faint hint of salt. It was subtle, but he needed something richer. His attention moved downwards, and It was not long till he reached that most sacred place, where he had been aching to lose himself in scent and taste. He took his time and inhaled her. Using his nose to caress her sweet spot as he relished in the full-bodied flavour of her.Â
As soon as his mouth began lavishing her, she realised he had somehow extended the cooling enchantment to his tongue. Her head was thrown back against the tree in ecstasy, the press of his mouth against her quickly becoming too much for her to handle. There was a brief moment of self-consciousness, where she worried about how the heat of the day would affect her taste. But the worry was soon lost, the thought drowned out by the sound of his appreciation and the realisation that he was stroking himself as he devoured her.Â
He was dedicated in his endeavour, although no amount of skin-tingling magic would be able to balm the fire coursing through her veins. She thought she would never cool, that she would be a woman on fire for the rest of her love-fuelled days. The sensation was mesmeric, and she could not remember a sweeter sensation than this man on his knees in front of her, face buried between her legs and using his tongue to caress her with such enthusiasm she felt as though she would fall apart. And fall apart she did. It was euphoric, and her hands gripped his hair fiercely as she crashed over rocks in reckless pleasure. Â
When he came back up to meet her he was breathless and lust-drunk, giddy as a school-boy and stoked as a bonfire. âThere has never been a sweeter taste than you, my love.â He kissed her then, languidly, passionately - intent on sharing the riches of his exploration. Tav could taste herself in his kiss. They may as well have been sharing wine between their lips.Â
âIf you donât fuck me soon, Gale, I swear I will combust.â
He laughed at this. At the desperation, at the slight annoyance in her voice, at the fact this was the first time she had ever said his given name and she had thrown it at him as a demand to push her against the tree and bury himself inside her. What a woman.Â
He needed no further invitation; shedding the confines of his breeches, he pressed himself slowly into her warmth, and she made the most delicious groaning sound he had ever heard. This woman could drive him to madness, and thankfully he was aware that his earlier attentions ensured he need not be overly gentle. Knowing that his endurance would be short-lived, thanks to the fervour he had stoked within himself while bringing her to climax against his tongue, he abandoned all pretense of restraint. Together they were primal, the tension that had been building between them releasing in pure, carnal desire. Â
Though a gentleman might have exercised more self-control, such decorum was a luxury he couldn't afford in the presence of such irresistible temptation. Stripped of his clothes, he found himself as vulnerable to the unrelenting heat of the day as Tav, and soon, his focused, determined passion ignited a sheen of sweat upon his skin.
Tavâs payback could not have been any sweeter, as soon as she noticed the sweat trickling down his neck she took her chance and licked it from his bronzed, silken skin. His response was a delicious, low moan and his rhythm faltered into something more urgent, unbound. His grip tightening, one of his hands found its way to rest gently against her throat so he could feel the deep moans rumbling against his palm as he fucked her.
âI love youâ She breathed. And thatâs all it takes. He is suddenly hurtling over a precipice and into sweet, tight oblivion.Â
They both collapse onto the ground, sweaty, burnt-out, euphoric. And they fall into uninhibited laughter as they realise they can hear the band playing a jaunty tune in the distance, and the chatter of the ever-growing crowd is closer than they initially thought.
âYou are still hidden from prying eyes, my dream.â Gale offered reassurance as he kissed her head. âAnd I will conjure up some suitable clothing for you, donât worry.â
âThat is most generous of you Saer, but please - by the Gods, no corset and no silk.â

If your request is still open and if you're comfortable with it can I ask for Halsin, Gale, Astarion, Gortash and Raphael on thier wedding night with thier fem S/O?

â . đđ⧠content warning : mostly fluff, implied nsfw but nothing explicit, no use of y/n, fem!reader
â . đđ⧠words : 1,2k (235~ for each characters)
â . đđ⧠author's note : love i'm so sorry this took so long but school is eating me tf out (and not in the way i'd rather it to be done)
( not proofread, english is not my first language â)
â . đđ⧠halsin :
Your wedding takes place in the Grove, decorations adorning the pillars and the fountain. The fireflies waltzed gently through the air, the weather was mild, Spring had arrived and the trees were in bloom. Of course the wedding would take place during the season of love.
Halsin wears a set of traditional Druid robes, his hair loose and braided with rosemary and lavender, his brown locks seeming to be the real earth that grows them.
His bare feet dig their heels into the fresh earth as his eyes landed on you.
Your hair was loose and held in beautiful waves with little flowers set into it. You were wearing a traditional druidic dress, the shades matching Halsin's outfit perfectly.
Silvanus had more than blessed him; he felt touched by his personal grace to have you as his eternal partner.
After exchanging your vows, you were drowned in a shower of petals from various flowers, all smiling as you kissed.
Everyone was dancing and an all-you-can-eat buffet was on display. Your chairs were the ground, the rocks and the steps leading up to the grove from the fountain.
When you and Halsin escaped the festivities, you found no bridal bed of feathers and straws, but headed for the forest.
In a clearing sheltered from view, a witch's circle covered in moss and flowers awaited you.
Man or Bear, this night was set to be unforgettable for you both.
â . đđ⧠gale :
Gale had embellished an entire room, the powers of the Weave bringing an atmosphere and aesthetic beyond imagination.
Wisteria rained down from the endless ceiling, particles of violet, blue and golden light twirled in the air, bringing smiles to every body they touched.
Gale wore superb violet robes, had on his most beautiful earrings, his beard coated with sweet, spicy-scented oils.
The guests didn't need to be many, but all Gale's acquaintances and yours were there, and that was enough for you.
When you arrived, your dress was light, silk and crystal organza mingling like flower petals to trail your steps.
Your vows were exchanged, and with a smile he kissed you to the cheers of all around.
The surrounding area was transformed into a glade, the stars shining like diamonds on a blanket of blue velvet. Fairies flitted here and there, and you and Gale were lying on a set of soft rugs, chatting about everything and nothing over bunches of grapes and other fruit.
The atmosphere was a perfect reminder of your first night, in the forest, the milky way crossing the night like a multicoloured ribbon. Just the two of you.
Just the two of you? You turned your eyes, and the guests were gone, and the surroundings had changed again. A little teleportation, and you'd found yourselves in a bed, smiling and warm-skinned.
â . đđ⧠astarion :
If there was one point of honour Astarion was counting on, it was that your wedding took place before sunset and continued through the night until he took you to bed at sunrise.
Everything was surrounded by jewels, gold and silver at the request of Astarion, who hoped that this extravagant organisation would make the sun shine all around him and the guests.
Cazador manor had abandoned its coldness to welcome the warmth of the many guests, wine in their bellies, and laughter exploding in every corridor.
Astarion was elegantly dressed, having personally chosen the fabrics for his black, white and red attire.
The crowd fell silent as you descended the steps leading to the main hall, your dress and veil a gradation of white to red to black. If Astarion still had a heartbeat, he was sure it would have stopped in its tracks.
Your vows were exchanged as the sun crossed the horizon, and the party resumed in earnest.
The whole night was spent waltzing around, laughing as Astarion told you jokes about every guest present, and downing flutes of champagne bubbling with excitement.
When dawn came, he didn't waste a single second taking you in his arms, carrying you like a princess to the door of your quarters.
Your heart beat in unison as the sun peeked through your curtains and flooded Astarion's face in a warm caress between your thighs.
â . đđ⧠gortash :
the event was inevitably gigantic. The whole town was to cease its day's activities, abandon its work and come to the castle to celebrate.
All the best pastry chefs and cooks had been requisitioned by his orders to offer as much variety as possible in the dishes. The event was so grand that it made you wonder whether Gortash would not take the opportunity to make this a public holiday, a day of celebration for all in honour of your union.
Of course, Gortash had paid who knows how many gold coins for the best stylists he could find to make his outfit and yours.
He smiled courteously at the guests in the throne room, always mindful of the need to forge links and do business.
But these thoughts soon faded from his mind as you entered the room, dressed all in white, the very incarnation of purity and perfection before his eyes.
Your vows were exchanged, and a thunderous applause filled the room as the bells rang outside. You both left the chĂąteau, the crowd throwing rice and petals into the air as you entered your carriage.
He would have loved to let the whole castle know that night that you were his wife, but he had built a house away from everyone where you could properly consummate your love.
â . đđ⧠raphael :
The House of Hope has never been so full of demons and guests of honour. I mean hell, the entirety of the Nines have been invited in here. You even wondered how the marble hadn't crumbled since then just by the sheer number of people here. But by some trick that has escaped you, just for this occasion, everything has been enlarged.
Raphael's wings have been covered in jewels, fine golden chains set with precious stones running around the edges of his wings, bracelets gleaming on the horns of his skull as he adorned the most elegant robes the underworld had to offer.
All the decadence of the underworld ceased for just a few moments as you descended the stairs to the main hall, Raphael's dark eyes covering your entire body.
You were wearing his colours in one of the most sumptuous outfits he had ever seen, and for this he had put all the best stylists on the case.
It was without doubt the most expensive wedding in centuries, and Raphael would probably have been furious if it hadn't been.
The vows were exchanged, and it took every ounce of the demon's strength not to rip off every bit of fabric separating your skin from his hands.
Fortunately for him, he didn't have to respect any marriage rules, certainly not in the underworld or in his own home.
It didn't take him long to kiss the back of your neck and for you to disappear in a dark cloud to the roars of joy from the guests.

he blinks. slowly, his lips curl in a smile. your gaze flits to them. to the plush lower lip, to the arch of his cupidâs bow. to their predatory edge. youâll cut yourself if you get too close. maybe you need to take a step forward.
âwhat will you have me do?â
âpardon?â
âto sharpen it. should i fetch the incapable wretch who forged them?â his grin sharpens. you feel his blade cut through skin. âor should i use you?â
wc. 3k
tw. blood, death, manipulation, knife kink, blood kind (both heavily hinted at), possessive feyd, political machinations, little canon divergent because the atreides actually attend feyd's bday fight (canon dune part 1 one starts a little after that), please read part one first it will all make sense i promise. shoutout to @kpopnstarwars my most beloved you're going to enjoy this. same goes for you @jaiuneamesolitaiire . also please ask questions about reader/the plot i beg of u i need to get this out of my system
youâre falling.
you see white sands engulf you in their sickly warmth, greedy little grains sinking you in.
youâre falling, and thereâs a distant roar ringing in your ears. youâre falling, lifeblood escaping you.
youâve fallen.
black.
you peel your eyelids open. they feel like sandpaper against your eyes, coarse and rough in all ways wrong.
you dream. again.
the past shifts and twists in front of you, ever changing, desert sand falling through your fingers. the more you cling to it, the less you grasp it.
you let yourself fall in the abyss of memory.
you blink.
you stand by your fatherâs side, gait proud and regal in a dark dress - a convoluted affair of veils and silver. on your breast, the crest of your family - crimson falcon spreading, spreading. you think of blood blooming on your chest and shift, ever so slightly. the cool press of your blade against your forearm soothes you.
you are in troubled waters, after all.Â
geidi prime, home to your houseâs sworn enemy, the harkonnen. geidi prime, its black sun sucking life out of its inhabitants, monochrome nightmare.
the flight from caladan was costly enough - you can almost hear hawatâs teeth grinding in discontent. a fortune, wasted on harkonen festivities held in honor of the na-baronâs birthday. yet, you must attend. you, betrothed-to-be to a harkonnen.
youâve heard whispers. hushed conversations between your mother and father, an assessing gaze from the reverend mother herself. it wonât be the baron himself - too old, too sick to produce the desired offspring.
just any other member of that wretched house wonât do either - you are a dukeâs daughter, your bloodline mingling with that of the emperor himself.
in the end, it all comes down to the baronâs nephews.Â
rabban - brutal. all furious brawns, minimal intellectual capacity, proficient for slaughter if used well.
na-baron feyd-rautha. utterly psychotic. deadly. precise. cunning. watching.
from his position at the baronâs right flank, he assesses you. you, back impossibly straight, hands folded before you, feet spread wide enough to spring to action should the situation go awry.
you, bowing before them, liquid smooth, a hair short of being disgracious.
youâve only bowed low enough to respect the intricate harkonnen protocol, not to show deference. not to them.
the baron raises his head from his seat, barely.Â
âwelcome to geidi prime, duke.â
you suppress a twitch. how utterly informal.Â
âthank you, baron.â
a shift in the baronâs entourage.
outrage, barely concealed. rabban looks ready to slit your fatherâs throat. how dare the atreides scum fail to recognize the honor paid to him and his suite?
theyâre being left alive, have the privilege of witnessing their beloved na-baronâs coming of age, and still fail to show the due respect?
you let out a slow, drawn out breath. the ceremony will be held in two days. more than enough time for you and your father to be disposed of.Â
your lips quirk up. you speak.
âit is always an honor to be invited to festivities in which the emperor partakes.â
feyd-rauthaâs eyes are on you. under geidi primeâs soulless sun, theyâre white, depthless. a milky way of depraved harkonnen savagery. he bares his teeth with unbrided hunger. you know it to be a threat - youâve heard of his harpies.Â
you think heâll consume you whole, with the way his gaze scorches your very soul.Â
how delightful.
a pulse. the suspensors. slowly, the baron rises from his seat, gargantuan mass towering above you, shadow stretching and stretching until it encompasses all of you.Â
âthe flight to geidi prime must have been quite draining.â
a tenth of your wealth. he who controls the spice controls the universe. the harkonnen have had arrakis in an iron hold for eight decades. your jaw ticks. bastard.
âescort them to the guest wing.â
servants surge forward.Â
feyd-rauthaâs gaze burns, sinks in the exposed skin of your back.Â
your dream shifts. twists, turns, has you seated at a banquet table.
a feast.
one day left until feyd-rauthaâs coming of age.
the guards donât know how to hold their tongue. they expect a fight - the grandest thing under the sun.Â
the emperorâs here, sitting at your table. from the corner of the eye, you observe. heâs been put at the head of the table, the baron at his right, your father at his left. an attempt at appeasing eons old enemy. a failure. yet...Â
thereâs an air of satisfaction to the emperor. hadenât you be trained in the bene gesserit way, you would have missed it, the way his eyes glimmer like arrakean spice.
finality sinks in as he takes the first bite, knife slicing open the tender flesh of an unknown poultry.
it looks like a falcon.
you take a bite of your own meat. medium rare, the proper way to consume meat. especially venison. princess irulan watches you, gaze assessing. she, too, has been trained in the way.
you smile at her, finger tracing the rim of your glass, spider-pleasantries networking endlessly. you ask her if she enjoyed your gift - a vocal recorder of the highest quality.
her smile is sincere. in the brutal white lighting of the banquet hall, you find yourself wishing things were different.
âhow is your brother?â
you grin. youâre being watched.
âheâs grown. still has his back facing the door.â
she scoffs, amused.
âheâll learn.â
under the artificial light, your wine looks like freshly spilled blood.Â
you take a sip and hum. the alcohol burns, sweet little fire settling low in your chest.
âis the wine to your liking, my lady?"
to your credit, you donât startle. your shoulders tense, your hand freezes in its motion to lower the glass.
na-baron feyd-rautha is at your side, close enough for his breath to tickle your ear.Â
âit is, my lord na-baron.â
mine. mine. glacier eyes have you riveted in your seat, needle-like against your throat. mine, mine.
his lady. his to claim, his to wed, his to breed.
you watch lithe fingers curl around his knife and wish you could see him in action. watch the deadly precision heâs so praised for.Â
soon.Â
twist and shift, until youâre lost in a maze of hallways.
the ceremony is about to start - you can feel the low thrum of thousands of harkonnen roaring their na-baronâs name. shadows pass over you.
itâs cold, this architecture. metal wings stretching, stretching. should you crane your neck, maybe, youâll watch them disappear in the ceiling. maybe. darkness is a looming cloud - these very walls soak up the light.Â
you, yourself, are a shadow. puppet dancing to the whims of whoever holds your strings. bene gesserit. baron vladimir harkonnen. the emperor.Â
you feel a storm coming.
you stop. light. an open door. a lone silhouette, porcelain white etched against black.Â
feyd-rautha.
he raises his head. sees you. tilts it to the side, lips stretched in a slow grin.
âare you lost, my lady?â
âso it would appear, na-baron.â
a twitch. flicker of annoyance in his eyelid, in the clenching of his jaw, sculpted edge caressed by shadows.
his blade is at your throat before you can make a move.Â
time holds its breath. it will snap and bleed raw at your feet, thick rivulets of it.
you will bleed, too.
your lips part, a muted gasp. the edge is sharp. a pinprick of pain blossoms above your carotid. butâŠ
âitâs not sharp enough.â
he blinks. slowly, his lips curl in a smile. your gaze flits to them. to the plush lower lip, to the arch of his cupidâs bow. to their predatory edge. youâll cut yourself if you get too close. maybe you need to take a step forward.
âwhat will you have me do?â
âpardon?â
âto sharpen it. should i fetch the incapable wretch who forged them?â his grin sharpens. you feel his blade cut through skin. âor should i use you?â
your heart skips a beat. a droplet of blood trails down your neck, down to your collarbone, down to your breasts. his gaze follows. hungry.
âyouâd make quite a mess, na-baron.â
he steps closer. circles you, free hand grazing your hip bone, left bare by your dress. you feel the heat of him. suddenly, youâre acutely aware of his bare chest pressed against you. you suppress a shiver.
âaddress me properly, my lady.â
he shifts his blade. it presses against your jaw.
âvery well, my lord na-baron.â
a pleased hum, like a purr. you tilt your head to the side.
âwhat will you do, feyd-rautha?â
he turns by a fraction. his lips graze your cheek, a breath away from your mouth. your throat feels dry. they graze there, too, over your carotid, trailing up and up until heâs pressing his cheek to yours, guiding you, helping you see-
carnage.
servants, dressed in white, lying limp on the ground, throat slit with deadly perfection. blood pools on the ground. stretches. oozes from gaping wounds, until it reaches the hem of your dress.Â
concubines, three of them - sisters of fate, harpies with broken limbs, lifeless eyes staring at the ceiling. theyâre smiling, teeth like fangs in the dim lighting of the room.
âhelp me,â he mutters, voice like a plea. âi will guide you.â
âand if i refuse?"
a low chuckle. deep, raspy. you melt a little inside.Â
âyouâre brave, my little atreides.â
âyou wouldnât be the first to try to kill me and fail, miserably.â
his arm wraps around your middle, pressing you to him. oh, mother, why did you have to wear a backless dress? you feel each ridge of him, the perfection of a trained warrior, muscles taut from countless hours of training - heâd make sculptors weep with the lethal perfection of him.
âah, the fabled tale. show me, little atreides.â
âsay please.â
his fingers dig in your hip, thumb tracing small circles under the silver threads holding the fabric together.
âplease.â
slowly, you raise your arm. the fabric of your dress, a convoluted affair of veils and velvet, slides down your skin. inch by inch, until the treacherous, ragged scar stretches along your forearm. he tenses, feyd-rautha.Â
âwho did this to you?â
âa fool who underestimated me.â
an assassin.
sent to kill you and your brother as you were running around on the beaches of caladan. who took you first, had you pressed against him, blade at your throat - until you sweetly asked him to
unhand you.
he did. your mastery of the voice wasnât perfect. you faltered. he struck. you bled.Â
killed.
words are the weapons of the weak.Â
that, you arenât.
âhow may i help you, feyd-rautha?â
twist, turn, until youâre facing him, holding a bowl of paint. thick, petrol black, it clings to your fingers like a lifeline. feyd-rauthaâs hand covers yours. guiding you, dipping your fingers in the paint, raising your hand to his torso.
you flush a little.Â
heâs warm. so very warm under your touch. the paint is cool on his skin - you watch him shiver, abdominals contracting, and you trail down, down his pectorals, stopping just short of his navel, lingering over the fabric of his tunic. at his side, his fingers twitch, eager.
âmore.â
âwhere?â
his hand reaches for yours. presses it on his chest. you can feel his heart, steady, strong - fluttering, hummingbird flailing in a cage made of ribs.Â
you want him, you realize. you want to consume him whole, sink your teeth in him until you can finally taste.Â
âwhere?â
you have to crane your neck to get a look at his face. something like amusement glimmers in his eyes.
he brings your fingers to his lips.Â
you blink.
spread the paint, thumb pressing down the plush of his lips. his lips part, suck you in and bite.Â
feyd-rautha watches you, tongue darting out to gather the sweet blood trailing down your hand. he presses a kiss to your palm, lips lingering against the callouses of your skin.
you let out something like a whine. the bowl falls. you never hear it reach the ground.
âyouâre making quite a mess.â
bastard.
âyouâll make a bigger one if youâre late, my na-baron.â
twist and turn, again, and again, and again. dreams have meanings, and you wonât let this one escape your grasp.
youâre standing above the ground, in the gaping mouth of a harkonnen arena. on and on it stretches, cold metal sparring against the sky, gnawing at its decimated horizon. ink blots the sky. you think of blood pooling in the water. fireworks.
you step inside the lodge. the guards recognise you - duncan idaho flashes a smile, a sharp quirk of his lips. you nod. they part ways. let you join your father, sit by his side and watch.
the fight hasnât begun yet.
âyou look thoughtful, daughter.â
you look away from the immaculate sand and the thousands of harkonnen roaring their na-baronâs name. feyd-rautha.
your father is watching you, gaze austere. you will not conceal, not from him.
âan alliance with the harkonnen would be beneficial, father.â
silence. you watch the subtle twitch of his eyelid, the flexing of his hand. the guards do not hear. youâve willed it so on your way in. to them, this is only pleasant chatter between father and daughter. harkonnen slander.
âyou will not speak of such matters again.â
âthe emperor-â
âenough!â
you keep your mouth shut. your father is a stubborn man, blinded by hatred passed down from generation to generation of atreides. as you should be.Â
horns blow. doors part, slide up. in comes feyd-rautha harkonnen, prowling on the wretched grounds of his playing ground. your binoculars zoom in on him. on the ease with which he carries himself, on the perfect arch of his neck as he kneels before the baron.
on harkonnen prisoners making their way towards him. undrugged.
you straighten in your seat.
the guards murmur. they too, have noticed the prisoners walking straight, carrying themselves with entirely too much ease.Â
âa bold move. what is the baron planning?â
your father. heâs watching too. all of you are, thousands of gazes riveted on the focal point that is the lone silhouette of feyd-rautha harkonnen.Â
you rip your gaze away from him and focus on the baron, a few meters above.
his lips part.
show me who you are, my dear nephew.
heâs fast. too fast for them. you relish in it, the fluidity of his movements, the way his hands tenses with each strike of his blades, bare forearms rippling with tension. one body falls. two. itâs barely been a minute since the fight started.Â
you cross your legs and watch, enthralled.
by god, does he fight well.
a reptile, slithering around his opponent, assessing him with the cruel knowledge of his supremacy. shadows loom over them, horned beasts ready to pry his opponent away from him should he prove to be in danger.Â
you feel more than you hear his outraged snarl.
âback off!â
that poor soul is his to kill. his gaze flickers upwards. up to the guest lodge, up to you. he bares his teeth in a smile, a flash of black against pure white, and strikes. blood splatters on the ground. a gash opens in the side of the prisoner. he stumbles but doesnât fall.Â
no, heâs a fighter that one. lunches forward to pin the na-baron to the ground, wrestling with him, clawing at his arms, hitting every nerve until the baron drops his blades. heâs laughing. heâs getting the life choked out of him and heâs laughing, shifting until his feet find enough leverage to pull him up.Â
thereâs a blade at his throat. the prisoner pushes and pushes, unstoppable force against immovable object. on he laughs, feyd. your eyes drops to his lips, where you see droplets of drool drip down his chin. you bite your lip.
feyd seizes the blade with his bare hand and twists. you hear the prisonerâs wrist break before you hear him choke on his own scream, coughing out blood. the daggerâs deep in his throat. itâs the only thing keeping him together - one fluid motion and feyd rautha wrenches it out of torn flesh and raises it above.
his gaze finds yours.
the dream shifts.Â
a veil unfolds, parts, until youâre walking the burning sands of arrakis. paul atreides, blood of your blood, flesh of your flesh, stands before you.
his eyes are blue.Â
you freeze.
a litany rises. lisan al gaib. your motherâs handicraft and eons of propaganda from the missionaria protectiva did its job well. here stands the one, scalding wind screaming around the looming silhouette of him.Â
bodies. bodies, laying on the ground, thousands and thousands of bodies, hands clutching at scorched earth, parched mouths opened in damnation. hunger. theyâre dying in paulâs wake. fate will set the galaxy ablaze. fate will make monsters out of you.
âyou know what must be done, sister.â
you do. thereâs something a little broken in the way you smile at him, palm cradling his face.
âdo you, little mouse?â
heâs tired, paul atreides, usul, muadâib, lisan al gaib. sanctity doesnât suit him well. he sees, but his eyes are sunken, his cheeks have hollowed out. thereâs an edge to him, too. the bene gesserit were right to fear him.
âdonât lose yourself more than you already have, brother.â
itâs too late.Â
a jolt.
your eyes wrench open.Â
âwelcome back, atreides.â
the baron.

Seasons with Shouto (âÂŽ Ë `â) *à©â©â§âË
âËâčâĄ
Springs with Shouto are sweet, like the tender caress of his hands. Greeting him at the train station with a soft peck on his cheek and walking to school under a canopy of fresh, pink flowers. The sakura trees sway in the wind while you and him walk hand in hand, the soft yet chilly breeze a remnant of winter. Springs with Shouto include walking through lush tulip fields with every color, picnic dates at the local park, and spending the entire Sunday at Disney Land. Plucking cherry blossom petals from each otherâs hair and taking selfies together with Mount Fuji in the distance. A lingering kiss pressed to the back of your hand, voluntarily tying your shoelace, holding your shopping bags.
Springs with Shouto are sweet, just like him.
âËâčâĄ
Summers with Shouto are sparkly, like bold and beautiful fireworks at the summer festivals. Wearing matching yukatas and dancing with sparklers in each hand. Late-night cramming for tomorrowâs examâa cool hand resting on your forehead and the other holding a box of strawberry milk. Summers with Shouto include ice cream dates (heâs memorized your order), making silly paintings afterschool underneath the oak tree on campus, and picking strawberries for both of you to eat back at the dorms. Making quick midnight runs to the conbini across the street to buy the last of the cold soba and pudding and peppering his face with kisses. Watching his face erupt into a big, beautiful smile, a smile that is only reserved for you (you donât know that, though).
Summers with Shouto are sparkly, just like his smile.
âËâčâĄ
Autumns with Shouto are adorable, like the orange cat that you saw at the park. Wrapping his warm, maroon scarf around your neck gently, scolding you for not bringing one yourself (heâs very happy that you like it and loves that you are wearing it. Besides, he can never stay mad at his angel forever). Holding hands while walking through the colorful maple trees, all adorned in red, orange, and yellow. Baking cookies and teaching him how to make cinnamon rolls while your friends and classmates take pictures of the two of you âhoggingâ the kitchen. Autumns with Shouto include dressing up as vampires for the Halloween party and leaving a bold, red kiss mark on his cheek with your scarlet lipstick (he likes it, despite all of the teasing). Movie dates in your dorm room, his head tucked in the crook of your neck, his eyes wandering to your focused face as you watch the movie (you catch him staring and think that he is the cutest).
Autumns with Shouto are adorable, just like him.
âËâčâĄ
Winters with Shouto are warm, like the heat of the fireplace in your home. Not wanting to leave Shouto alone in the dorms, you invited him to come home with you. Freshly made roasted turkey is on the dining table, the smell of kona coffee cake in the oven drifting in the air. Your family is welcoming and jolly: they cleaned the house (a miracle), your siblings didnât bicker, and most of all, they welcomed Shouto with big smiles and open arms. The living room looks cozy due to the Christmas lights on the tree and the vibrant fire. Your home is cozy and feels like a home. Shouto supposes that this must be what a functional householdâs home is like.
But where is his home? For Shouto, home isnât the building, it isnât where he grew up, it isnât where he currently resides in. Home is where he feels love, comfort, joy, peace. Home for Shouto is where he feels warm. Home for Shouto is you.
Winters with Shouto are warm, and Shouto thinks that winters with you are warm, too.Â
And when you both are feeling extra cold, youâll sneak upstairs to your childhood bedroom. The smell of nostalgia hits your nose as you turn on the fairy lights to add to the homey atmosphere. The both of you will tuck in close and look out the window, admiring the soft snow falling from the sky. At 00:00 am, heâll press his lips on yours and quietly whisper:
âMerry Christmas, my love and home.â

gojo satoru x fem!reader
The door rattles with a loud noise as you make it two steps down the hall. Two whole steps before long arms wrap under your shoulders and youâre whirled around against an equally lanky body, while your giggles fill the hall. They echo down the old family house, pristine and proper, and give your mother a well deserved moment of rest as she rolls the suitcases inside. âHey- Thereâs my favorite little squirt,â his lithe voice hums gleefully when you press a childishly sloppy peck onto his cheek and squish your face to his shoulder, and Satoru barely bothers to give your mom a quick smile before stealing your entire attention away and putting you into his neck with a smile.
âYou gotta visit more frequently, nee-san. I gotta show my favorite niece what Iâve learned at monster school, donât I?â
Your chubby cheeks glow hot as you parrot him. âMonster!â
âYour only niece. And youâre more than welcome to take a few babysitting shifts, Satoru. Lord knows I could use it,â the soft-spoken woman would then chuckle, and leave you to it.
Thatâs how it was, always. You remember finding the days where snow stuck to the ground and made the house feel so much toastier, the most lovely of all- no excuses, no exceptions. Not that you could give a reason as to why, back then. It was probably because winter meant family time and holidays and presents, and most of all, it meant packing everything up into the car and driving down for New Years. Without fail, a white winter meant Gojo Satoru â and without fail, youâd look towards him like a world faithfully orbits the sun.
You canât thank Satoru enough for taking his role so gracefully, at the time. When it was still fun.
Now winter means being locked up in your room while that same man parades around a different princess each year, and makes your start to the new entirely unenjoyable. After a good few hours of hearing the drinking and talking grow louder and louder -and then eventually quieter again, you finally dare peak your head around the corner. Because if youâre lucky, uncle Satoru will have no self-control. And the copious amounts of alcohol that festivities require will leave him blissfully unaware of your scowl at the foreign pair of shoes by the door. Your bare feet pad on the floor as you make your way past the soft rumble of the tv, and into the kitchen to pop open your own box of cake, and another bottle of bubbles for yourself.
The frosting sticks to the roof of your mouth three bites in, and makes everything a lot more palatable. The smell of the obnoxious festive scented candles, the deep beats of the slow make-out music reverberating through the walls of his otherwise impeccable apartment. The knowledge that youâre meant to wait out the inevitable turnaround from festive cheer to loud moans down the hall as the countdown hits 0. Itâs been this way for years now, and you find yourself wishing spring would come a little faster.
Youâd never be so lucky, though. You drop the fork in surprise when long fingers sneak around your neck to squeeze gently at the soft parts of it, and a breath brushes over the shell of your ear. âBoo.â Festive cheer and a softer familiar musk overtakes your senses.
âSatoru, you dick,â you squeak out a little too loudly, halfway to turning when a strong arm wraps around your hips to allow him to slot a little closer to your back. He peers over your head at the cake, breath dusting over your hair. Uncaring, of course, about the level of appropriateness or the way it sends a shiver up your spine.
âBit early for a late night snack, isnât it? You could at least have asked your favorite authority figure to join you.â His smile gleams in the low light of the apartment like a million diamonds, white head of hair tousled and bed-head like. The hand on your hip squeezes ever so softly before you shake him off, and cross your arms over your chest in defiance.
âYouâre barely an authority, let alone my favorite. Besides, arenât you kept busy with⊠Keiko? Kyoko?â
ââKimiko. Why?â Itâs then you make the mistake of looking up into those perfect baby blues through the half-tinted shades, and despite your earlier frostiness, he still searches for a handhold on your shoulder, softly brushing his thumb along the collar of your shirt. He stares like he can see through you, where your heart beats wildly in your chest. Youâd dare bet money that sometimes he definitely tries to. But the calculating glances that flick over your face are kept quiet by a faint hum.
âSheâs gone home. I thought maybe we could celebrate New Years together this time.â Satoru is always smiling. It crinkles his eyes, seems to ooze out of him like syrup. Heâs good at that. At feeling trustworthy. Butâ âWe still have a good twenty minutes until the fireworks. Come celebrate. For me?â Thereâs no mistaking the way he leans in to nudge your face up and puts on an exaggerated puppy-like pout. Gojo Satoru is anything but trustworthy.
But hard lessons are slow to stick. You find your mouth opening almost like instinct, sugar-coated tongue running over your lips as he waits. âFine, until after the fireworks. Only âtil then.â His mouth corners go a little more cat-like when the grin grows further, and he rubs his heavy palm and long fingers over your head with a soft chuckle.
âRight? Youâd never leave your poor old, lonely uncle Satoru alone on a special day, right?â
The couch is abandoned for a slower sort of swinging around the living room once the clock starts getting close, and Satoru places another flute of golden bubbles into your handâ grinning as you move to the beat. Try and resist as you may, Satoru has given you much to be thankful for. The heat of his hand back on your head distracts you from the way the drink goes down too quickly, letting him pick your hand into his to pull you closer. âHave you ever slow danced before, pretty girl?â
You donât get to say anything before youâre in his arms, hands to his chest and quickly sliding down to wrap around him instead, swallowing down the stirring heat that hits when he chuckles. You must be crazy. Must be. Your heart feels like itâs banging in your throat. But Satoru rests his chin on your head into the embrace, and swallows you up into his arms. And your throat burns like a raging fire yet again. It isnât like that. It isnât like that. Youâre the one making it weird, and you know it. But you canât help the goosebumps when he presses a kiss to your crown, or when he pauses to look down at you.
Grinning like heâs got the world in his palm, he leans in to almost brush noses with you. âThis is kinda romantic, isnât it?â
âGojo Satoru,â you immediately feel the warmth flare up on your cheeks and ears, eyes going wide. But the grin is back instantly, and he chuckles.
âAlright, donât get your panties into a twist.â The air of his breaths dusts over your nose when he stares, and doesnât look away. âYouâre so obvious when you want something. Itâs cute.â Heâs awfully, disturbingly pretty. However weird it is to notice that about your own momâs brother⊠you never were able to lie yourself out of that conclusion.
The clock ticks loudly, counting down. But you canât tear yourself away, blinking blankly at the way he gives your face a once over, before those eyes find yours. Glittering brilliantly, pulling at your sanity. You did always adore him. The first few fireworks go off loud in the distance, when your own uncle Satoru dips down and kisses you. You freeze. Warm lips and tongue pressing into your mouth- he full-on kisses you and runs a hand along your neck to pull you into him. A muffled squeak makes itâs way out of you, warm tongue getting to taste all of him. You- you donât stop it. When he pulls back, his mouth lingers over yours, and that devilish mouth whispers, âhappy New Year, baby,â without any âsorryâs.
+
The flowers are already starting to bloom in the colorful pots that swing outside the windows when you nurse your own cup of tea, and donât bother lowering your eyes when bright azures meet your gaze. Thereâs something there that tingles your tongue, faint memories biting at your conscious, but too swift to grab hold of. You canât read him anymore. It makes the familiar glint in them feel anxiety inducing. The gaze shifts, and you feel your spine relax. All tall, perfect, unfairly casual grandeur of him goes back to entertaining your cousins and Megumiâ and your attention is finally allowed to shift back to your mom.
âDeary me⊠That child seems like heâll never grow up,â she softly chimes, turning your way to take your hands, âI bet youâre twice the adult he is.â Her slight frown is one of fondness though, of care and concern; all of which only makes your stomach drop further. Your momâs so enamored with her tight-knit little dream of a family. Sheâs completely unaware, too. Of the deadly, treacherous words that your mind whispers to you when it knows no oneâs watching. Your motherâs warm smile remains. âIf you ever decide you canât keep up with him anymore, youâre more than welcome to move back home, honey.â
âI know, momâ but I like Tokyo. I like my friends here, and- my jobâs here, and I like my job.â Her hand makes an encouraging circle over the back of your hand, and she nods.
Her warm smile doesnât keep away the cold flare that travels down your back though. âAnd you also like Satoru, for reasons I still canât wrap my head around.â Her look over in his direction has you resolutely studying your lap instead, as heat travels back from your chest to your face. âEven when you were little, your uncle âToru could do no wrong. It was infuriating at timesâŠâ You try to put on a smile when you feel her eyes return back to you, and let the cup bear the brunt force of your anxiety. âNow I just think itâs sweet. I know I couldnât deal with his antics anymore, for even a few days.â
âHeâsâŠâ You trail off before you can even get started, and let your tongue swipe along your bottom lip to get rid of the pesky memory again. You feel like your moral compass has been compromised. Your stupid little crush was meant to go unacknowledged, and fade. No one was supposed to be any the wiser. Satoru was never meant to do wrong. Heâs -what- exactly, you try to ask yourself. Sneaky? Childish? The reason you canât look your own family in the eye without blushing like a schoolgirl?
Your heart blooms when you catch a glimpse of his smile as the beer bottle brushes his lips, and he finds your shape again across the room.
Before you get a chance to look away, uncle Satoruâs already calling your name again with that sing-songy tone thatâs got you hooked; and pulls you out of your seat with a few slow blinks. âThereâs my favorite girl.â He swings an arm over your shoulders, and invades your senses yet again. âItâs getting a little too stuffy in here for your liking, hm? Mind if I steal her for a while?â His sister barely gives him the tiniest of eyerolls before waving you both off. And the white-haired force of nature doesnât even stop to ask you. He knows heâs right.
Before long, the glances of family get captured by other things, and the honorary member of your family gives you a knowing look that you mirror. Not that Satoru would let it stop him if he saw. You only just look away from Megumiâs grimace before you freeze into place. Thereâs the tiniest of kisses to the skin behind your ear where Satoru whispers in your ear. âI was really missing you, baby.â Thereâs a heat that spreads all over you as he continues, barely hiding his affections. âWhenever I see you⊠I just wannaâŠâ
Your eyes go wide when you turn to stare at him, then quickly around at the rest of the guests. Luckily, everyone seems too preoccupied to notice the way he wraps his arm around your waist to steer you towards the front door. âWhat? I wasnât done.â he chimes, eyes glinting over like the Chesire cat, âI wanna come annoy you, is what I was going to say.â Alarm bells should go off. You want them to signal your disaster. But no such thing happens, and the way his lips almost drag over your pulse makes your entire body feel like youâre filled with static. âYou know uncle Satoru loves you. Step out with me for a bit.â
+
The miserable drum of rain has no way of drowning out the thoughts in your head. A heat-caused thunderstorm should just be a minor inconvenience, but it feels awfully telling about your current state. The string of messages of Satoruâs latest -what you can now assume is- ex blink back at you as you check the time again, and sink deeper into the couch. The apartment always feels a little too cold when youâre here alone. And sure, youâve been living here too, but youâve been on your very best behavior all this time. Taking up only the space he was willing to give.
So you sit in silence as the room gets darker and darker, and instead of checking up on work mails, you let the icy silence of the apartment sit beside you. The messages werenât exactly frantic, butâ the door clicks softly across the room, and the pitter patter of the rain on the skylight grows even more impatient. âUncle âToru,â you breathe as he drags his wet self in, only to suck your bottom lip into your mouth.
Thereâs only a few times youâve ever had the displeasure of seeing him like this. One was the first summer his best friend vanished into thin air, a shallow copy of your beloved left behind in its wakeâ and every few years after that. It drains all the color out of him, squeezes until thereâs nothing left.
He looks drunk. He smells drunk too. But you still cross your arms and straighten your back, swallowing. âKi-chan was worried about you. She says you two broke-â
âSheâs right.â Satoru drops his bag by the tv, and unceremoniously kicks off his socks in the middle of the living room, slauntering towards the couch.
âIs that why youâre like this?â Your worry is undermined by a harsh snort and an equally unamused chuckle, before the white-haired man comes to a halt before you.
âDonât be stupid. You and I both know itâs not.â His eyes are usually like the ocean on a summer day, bright, all-consuming, and peacefulâ thereâs nothing there when they land on you now. Just the dark, dreary image of a cloudy, uncaring vastness. âGet up, Iâm trying to sleep here for the night.â
âIâm not leaving.â Youâre not sure if the slight tremble in your voice is self-inflicted, but do your best to bite through the electric tension. âShe also said that youâve been saying all kinds of things that make no sense. Things aboutâ me. And thatâs why you guys broke up. Sheâs worried that you might try to do something to me.â Gojo Satoru is a lot of things. More things than a man with his constitution should be, all in all. Your light breath cuts the tension just enough for you to speak up again, staring up at him from your increasingly vulnerable position on the couch. âWell, will you?â
âGet up.â Before you have another chance to ask more, he takes you by the arm and pulls you up out of the couch in a split second, leaving you stumbling back. âRun off to your room now.â Smart, coherent thoughts leave you. Satoru looks like heâs hurting. Those long, white lashes and blue irises are no longer bright and understanding. They frame a simple look of distaste at the sight of you, and your rapid heartbeat falters. âI said, now.â As your tongue brushes your lips you search for somethingâ anythingâ to say, but it seems he doesnât want to let you. With large steps, he walks you back by your collar until your back hits the wall, and you stare up at him.
âIsnât it bad enough that I already want you? What more do you need?â The cold, still wet touch of his thumb brushing your collarbones tingles down your entire body. âTell me off. Hit me. Do something.â Heâs basically begging now, through hard glares, teeth and a raspy voice. âTell me off for treating you like this.â
You think you should. But all that you manage to say is a soft plea, eyes searching in the dark. âUncle Satoru, I- Iâm sorry.â
âBaby.â
His grip makes your shirt dig uncomfortably into your neck, but you barely feel it. Instead you raise your hands to cup his face, watching how the furrowed brows straighten out after only a few tight breaths. You mumble out a breath of his name, and allow him to pull you closer to his body until youâre pressed to his chest, face hidden against his collarbones. Until he leads you to look up at him and lets his lips brush over your eyelids, and the tip of your nose. âYour mom would kill me if she knew.â
You know him to be right. And still, you let his mouth meet yours. Meet and claim your tongue, hiking your one thigh up to allow him to melt against you. Rolling his narrow hips just a little too effectively against you. Itâs way too much all at once, hot and cold meeting in the dark where his body grinds against you. You shouldnât⊠allow any of this, right? But it feels too good to stop. Satoru clearly thinks so too when he grunts your name against your mouth, and his crotch rubs into your center.
Itâs not hard to know what heâs thinking about as he drags his lips down the soft of your throat and sucks kisses into the skin. His strong fingers slide under your shirt to anchor at your waist, and leave goosebumps all over. âMy pretty girl,â he ends up mumbling as his tongue makes shapes at the base of your throat, âyouâre all mine. All fucking mine. Mh- never gonna let anyone have you.â It feels so good. Hearing that, however distorted by the momentâ makes you feel like youâre floating. So much so, that it scares you. To think anyone would have such power over you.
Satoru goes in for another kiss, but you end up sliding out of his arms by mere chance, panting and shivering from the wet hands all over you. You take one single deep breath, and rush off down the hall.
+
When you sit at dinner the next day, rolling your veggies around your plate as you cast him weary glances from under long lashes, Satoru doesnât falter. Doesnât even blink out of place once, like the night before was just a dream. Youâd really believe the slight ache of a hickey at the base of your throat to be an unlucky bruise, if you couldnât notice the faint glances your way. After a while, his telltale grin slips back on when you startle at his voice, and he points his fork towards you. âYouâre acting weird, you know that?â
âI- Iâm acting weird?â Your voice pitches up almost comically, and his gleeful chuckle has your heart racing despite yourself. âW- about yesterday-â
âIâm taking you somewhere tonight.â Though the interruption should annoy you, he looks so content and smug as he stuffs the last of his food into his cheek, that you can only frown. His hand runs through his mess of white hair, noisily smacking his food as if to make a point. When you donât immediately respond, he nods to himself, before leaning in. âI woke up with the worst headache of my life, Iâll have you know. But Iâve gotten over myself, I promise. And now I just want to hang out with my favorite niece.â
âOnly niece,â you end up parroting, clenching and unclenching your hands into your skirt. âWhere do you wanna go?â
âCall me âuncle âToruâ again, and Iâll tell you.â You never tell him no.
As you walk through the hall with slow steps, the light falls like broken petals through the paper walls and casts everything in a hazy glow. For all your protests, uncle Satoru follows close behind, chirping all kinds of encouragements, giggling most of the way through. The lazy patterns he draws on your shoulders with his thumbs, or the brief brushes of his nose along your cheek, kisses behind your jawâ it all should make you feel a lot guiltier than it does. Instead youâre just wound up, skin tingling with every touch the longer it lasts.
âAre you gonna tell me why weâre here now?â
He hums that melodic agreement, before pointing you towards the rather familiar door at the right. âIf you go in there, I will.â At your slight frown, he only presses on. âI promise. Come on, trust your favorite uncle.â
âYouâre not my favorite.â
His voice grows low as his lips brush your ear, and those strong arms start gliding down the sides of your back. âLiar.â The kiss that is pressed to your pulse is slower this time, humming in your throat and making you swallow your words. His mind hasnât changed after you ran out. Instead of focusing on that- on him, you reach for the door and slide it open, finding your and Satoruâs room barely changed at all. His hands come to press at the sides of your hips, long fingers trekking all over the skin he can reach. âIâve been thinking for a while nowâŠâ His playful voice dips a little lower, and your breathing grows slower and slower. âI always meant it when I said you were my favorite... but-â
âBut itâs a little different now, hm, pretty girl? When did you change so much?â Those hands that start sliding up along your thighs to hike your skirt up to your belly, and though you try to keep it down with a little breath, he denies it. âYou donât like it? That I wanna see all of you?â The little hum to your soft throat makes you feel like youâre charged to the brim, crackling each time he moves. Itâs unbearable, and yet, you couldnât move a muscle if you tried. âTell me that Iâm a bad guy.â
You canât focus on anything. His nimble fingers toy with the edge of your panties, and the puff of his breath sends a shiver down your neck. âW-whyâd you take me to our old- ah- place?â Satoru doesnât wait for you to catch up before the frilly fabric drags along your thighs. Your awfully wet underwear lands around your feet, and he leans in to nudge your face to his. Kissing you over your shoulder as his body covers you from behind, and his waist pushes up against you. His tongue steals your attention away from his hands just long enough to lose track of them before theyâre on your tits, squeezing them and making your cunt clench in anticipation.
âBecause I wanted to prove something.â He rolls his clothed waist against your ass and makes that awful feeling even worse, forcing a whimper out of you. And that mind-numbing fucking laughter returns before his hands start moving to your center. Youâre not sure if you want to push him away or ride his fingers with the slow drag of rough fingertips along the inside of your legsâ not that itâs up to you anyway. âYouâre no longer that good girl thatâd idolize uncle Satoru, right? Youâve started thinking about other things when Iâm around, hm?â
Fingers slide through the embarrassing amount of wetness between your legs with another noise from him, pressing his hardening cock harder against you and grinding it against you- and you have to fight the urge to just get face down on the floor for him. âF-fuck, baby, youâre already dripping all over my hand. Does uncle âToru turn you on?â Two prodding digits slide into your clenching hole as he grins against your cheek, and his free hand meanly pinches a nipple. âCâmon, tell me. Tell me how much you like me.â
âMh-ack, I- li-like you.â He goes to pull his hand back but you reach for it, and push it back inside to have his hand palm rubbing up against your clit. âA lot, I like you a lot! Please.â The curl of his long fingers inside you is enough to have you shaking, leaning back against his chest with one shoulder, and hanging onto his wrist. It doesnât take much to have him smiling into the hickey heâs sucking under your jaw, and fighting back your resistance just enough to start pushing another finger inside. The slight ache is almost instantly replaced with the pleasure of having your clenching pussy filled so full. Everything blurs a little when you reach back for him for support, and his strong hand fucks smoothly in and out of you. âMhm, ah, ah, I love my uncle Satoru. Sa. To. Ru.â Slick runs down your leg and makes his entire hand sticky, and he hums in agreement.
âThatâs a good little niece. Love riding my fingers like this? Youâre shaking, baby.â He knows what it does to you, mustâve known for a while, when his voice is pressed to your skinâ it leaves you a mess. You try to respond, but your tongue gets all tangled, and you can only whimper and nod as his fingers fuck right into the spot you need them to. Your back curls against him as your legs get shakier, and your poor clit is grinded against his palm until you canât focus on anything else. It feels so good. Good, good, good, good~ You want to keep riding his fingers forever.
âLay down for me,â he rasps when you really start rubbing back against his hand, pussy so messy and full and your lips glossy with spitâ and you almost cry when he starts pulling back.
âNo, no no nonono, uncle Satoru, please. Iâm close,â you squeak, only to allow him to push you down by your shoulder and watch as he slots his fingers between pink lips. âHm- I- can I cum? Please?â Your thighs rub together as you lay down, and Satoru kneels before you to pry them open wide enough to fit his shoulders between.
âShh, lift your ass,â he quickly chants, getting comfortable between your legs as his hands pry you open, âlet me taste my favorite pussy the way I want.â His devilish mouth is on you before you can register it, hot and instantly too much. Your puffy clit is laved in licks and sucks that hit the spot just right, and every nerve end fires in a way that no one else could ever accomplish. His hums and the brilliant glint of his eyes as he watches you tear up and moan, lifting your ass closer to his face as his tongue licks and fucks your dripping pussy. He laughs when eating you out so good your eyes cross, before latching his mouth around your overstimulated nub for real, and sucking the light out of your vision.
Your legs shake before youâre clenching them around his head with a long, high-pitches whimper and a string of moans that roll through your bodyâ and Satoru just keeps going, until youâre twitching and you try to push him away. Your breathing is rapid and shallow as you blink the black spots on your vision away and loosen the grip you have on his hair, but your legs still shake as he brushes his thumb over your pussy without pity. âThatâs one. Wanna see how many more I can get you to?â
âNo,â you immediately squeak, making his smug grin grow even wider. âI wanna⊠first, wanna have you- i-inside.â Admitting it is different than thinking it. And youâve thought it, too much to count- but it still heats your cheeks and ears upon seeing the way Satoruâs lashes flutter a little, and he pushes his pants down to take his flushed cock out.
âYeah? You want your uncle Satoruâs big cock inside you?â His hand wraps around his thick length with a little hiss, sliding his hand over the swollen, dark pink tip as you watch. âSay it properly, and Iâll give it to you.â You roll onto your side to yank your shirt up over your tits, and impatiently shake your ass as you whine out a noise that barely seems to register as you. But you canât help it. The buzz from your orgasm only made your belly hotter, slicking up your legs and ass and dripping for him- as he sits up on his knees so slide his pants down further.
âSatoru~ please.â His hand moves up and down a few times as he raises a brow, and knocks away your hand when you try to touch yourself. âPlease, please, puh-lease~â Your voice cracks when you lay back instead, and knead your tit as you try to pull him closer by wrapping your legs around him. âI want to have- uncle âToruâs cock. I want to have my own uncleâs cock, I love my uncle- and I want- to be his personal pussy to use~â Tears spring up in the corners of your eyes, so you close them. âNow please just put it in. Iâve waited long enough-â
A little chuckle breaks up your begging before he kisses you deep and greedily, and suddenly the hot head of his cock pushes up against your sopping entrance. âWant it so bad you gotta cry about it? Poor baby.â He just about pushes in the slightest bit, and takes a slow breath to stare into your eyes. Pretty. So fucking pretty, all of him. âSorry I made you wait. Uncle will fill this little niece's pussy up, donât worry.â Then he pushes in with a slow press on your tummy that makes you blink back tears, as his heavy, hot cock breaks you open a little further, along with your sanity.
The smack when he bottoms out is a brief relief, before he pulls back and uses those strong legs to start really fucking into you, nose to nose. âLetting your own family fuck your greedy pussy like this, look at you. Iâm a bad influence, hm?â The weight of him, the brushing of his pelvic bone to your clit, the grip on your thigh and brushing of your tits and every brief brush of his lips over yours is enough to have that coil pull back so tight in your stomach too quickly. You dig your nails into his muscular back as each pap of his balls smacking against your slick-covered ass rings out in the room, and the white-haired man hums. âUncle Satoruâs your favorite, say it. That youâll beg for my cock until you go hoarse.â
He presses his nose to your temple, and pants against you- fucking with a rhythm thatâs taking the breath out of you. Youâre already going to cum again. âSay that you want uncle Satoruâs kids filling up your belly, ahg- go onâ mhm, that tight, t-tight fucking pussy.â
âYes, yes, I want my uncleâs cum inside! My favorite uncleâs ruining my pussy!â you squeak, and then cry out against his neck. âIâm gonna cum again, uncle âToru. G-gonna- agh-ughn- p-please donât stop.â The thrusts get even deeper if thatâs at all possible, lifting your one leg up to grind the head of his cock against your cervix with the position heâs got you in, and goes to cup your pussy. And even that slight touch is enough to have your vision going black and white, head blanking as another orgasm rolls over you and locks your leg around his hipsâ but the fucking doesnât stop even then. âAgh-mygodI-ah, ahgh-nh. Uncle Satoru.â
Itâs too much, youâre entirely too hot and sweat is rolling down your temple and his chest, but his cock still drives home over and over again like heâs willing to break you in half. You donât want him to ever stop. âHearing that filth coming out of your mouth- ugh, mhm, makes me want to keep fucking you forever. For eternity.â His waist bumps your overstimulated clit each time he bottoms out, ring of white around the base of his cock before he throws his head back and moans out your name. âYou canât ever let anyone know how much uncle Satoru loves fucking his little niece, okay? F-fuck. How much I love ruining that little attitude of yours.â
Your both knees are pushes to your shoulders as he moves up, pulling out just a second to fuck between the sloppy lips of your pussy. âBeen wanting to fuck you since you moved in. Canât help but get hard when youâre around. Bad uncle âToru, right?â The head of his cock is so swollen and flushed and dripping with your mixed juices, and he stares at you through narrowed, perfect eyes as he pushes back in and watches his cock disappear into the hot clutch of your pussy, swallowing it up like a whore. His lip is pulled between his teeth as he groans, and fucks harder and faster into you like youâre barely a toy. âBut I donât care. Uncleâs gonna fuck this pussy every day from now on. My pussy. Mine.â
You can feel him in your throat with the way he pounds your pussy until youâre raw, squeezing your throat between his long fingers as his heavy balls hit you. And his mouth covers yours, tongues back together and spit messily covering your chin by the end of it. You donât think eternity will be enough.
+
Thereâs some kind of failsafe inside every human, isnât there? And yours is simply malfunctioning at the wrong times.
The woman hanging off his arm is lovely. Mina, you think it is. Sheâs smart and pretty and accomplished, and her hair has that perfect commercial shine as it bounces around her shoulders. And Satoru is laying on the sweetness thick, from what you can make out between the giggles and shiny smiles. Underneath the obnoxious shades hiding his pearly gaze from direct view as he makes quick work of scanning the beach. It sits in your stomach with an uncomfortable rumble. Even though you know⊠Itâs for show. Itâs all just for show.
You do your best not to frown when he looks back over his shoulder for a second to drag his eyes over you. âWe should play beach volleyball!â
And a soft chuckle from the person by your side agrees when you canât be bothered to. âYou got it!â The blond is smart enough to give you a softly encouraging grin that makes you feel vindicated in your exasperation, before you stick up your own thumb. You have no intention of watching Satoru leave hot handprints all over her skin. The young man beside you clearly notices your hesitation, because he smoothes a palm down your spine to straighten you up a little, before blowing out a long breath that makes you smile. âYou donât have to if you donât want to. Iâll keep him busy if youâd rather lay in the shade for a little longer.â
Kenjiâs fingers softly brush along the small of your back, then teasingly slips them under the knot of your bikini, as his mouth comes to hover over your ear. âOr we could sneak away for a little bit andâŠâ
âAnd get caught for indecent exposure?â you giggle over your shoulder instead of letting him kiss you, and grab for one of the books that had gone untouched earlier in the day to tap it on his head. âWe canât,â you breathe with a smile, and watch as he takes that as a challenge. Really, youâre not one for fighting fire with fire. Thatâs Satoruâs play, and you donât have any intention of mistreating anyone. But ⊠the adoring gazes and personal attention does make the whole ordeal a lot easier to stomach. So easy even, that youâre down in the toasty sand with him above and your chest rising and falling rapidly for a few blissful seconds, before the volleyball hits the both of you on the sides.
Your eyes snap over to the head of white hair when he clears his throat, and holds his hands up in mock apology. Serene, picture-perfect smile plastered on his handsome face. You click your tongue, and you canât hold back the angry echo of his name in your head as he walks up. âSorry, sorry, my bad! You guys coming or what?â This whole song and dance is justâ so frustrating. Despite your best effort to keep it in, a slight tick in your brow still makes its way onto your face.
âYou guys start without me,â you breathe after a few seconds of staring Satoru down, allowing Kenji to pull you up from the sand to dust you off. âIâm going to go grab the sunscreen and the coolers from the car.â Kenji makes an attempt to stand, but you wave it off in favor of putting some space between you and the tallest as his crystal eyes drill holes through you. âNo, I got it. Thanks though.â
By the time Satoruâs âgirlfriendâ walks up and slips underneath his arm, he raises a brow your way, and the glitter in his eyes makes you convinced that he knows just as well as you do. You do your best to ignore him â them, but you can still feel the sting of him appraising you through those stupid shades. Asshole. You swing your hips as you walk away, kicking up sand every time your slippers bounce up.
At least the short walk allows for a moment to cool off, and collect your thoughts. Thereâs no sense in getting fed up. Heâll just get home and start cracking jokes like always, pretending like he didnât do something wrong in the first place. Nevertheless, you allow yourself only a short sigh and admittance of defeat in the little game you play as you click the trunk closed again.
Before you turn and walk into a solid chest, almost scaring you skittering back against the hot surface of the car. Large hands descend on you, one to wrap around your waist and the other covering your mouth- before he leans down further into your space. âSo, so grumpy all the time.â Uncle Satoruâs rough handpalm slides down to grab a handful of your ass before he lowers his face to yours into a languid kiss, tongue tasting vaguely like strawberry as he drags it over yours with a hum. âStop trying to make me jealous.â
âIâmâ Iâm not! And âm not grumpy. I just donât want to see you,â you end up breathing out, wrapping your arms instinctively around his broad shoulders when those long fingers start toying with your pussy through the awfully flimsy fabric. âSatoruuu~â
His chuckle is matched with the impatient way he rubs two fingers up and down along your slit, and slides his other hand down your smooth stomach to start peeling it all off. âCall me uncle Satoru, câmon baby. You know what I like.â
You barely have a chance to place your hand over your mouth to keep quiet as he noses your bikini top out of the way to drag his pink tongue languidly over your puffy budâ and those baby blues find you through wispy, white lashes. âUncle âToru, unc-cle âRuâ Youâre gonna get us caught.â He sucks part of it into his mouth and leaves a mean mark with his teeth, before grinning.
âHmm. I donât care.â

lotus love
summary: who knew a festival miles away from home would help Miya confess his feelings.
with: Osamu Miya
warnings: friends to lovers, oblivious reader, tatoos, dear osamu is so patient i can't đ
fluff fluff fluff
Another road sign appears in your field of vision, a red â60â stamped on the painted wood making Osamu slow down while driving, a gentle wind now coming through the open window and running your skin. Itâs been almost three hours since you guys started the road trip to Kanagawa, and even though you enjoy watching the beautiful landscape sideways, your stomach is making a riot inside for food.
Being the copilot, you check out your current location on your phoneâs map, letting out a relieved sigh as you notice a small festival going on a few miles away.
This is it.
You hear him chuckling, having no idea that he actually heard that sigh along with your now pleased expression. âDid ya find our next stop?â
âLotus Festival, five kilometers away.â You answer him, scrolling through the eventâs pictures. âOooh, I found a yakitori stall there! Okay, we need to stop in this place.â Just imagining the seasoned grilled chicken skewered in a kushi makes your mouth drool faster than the carâs wheels.
âYou got it.â Osamu smiles, also liking the idea of filling his tummy to the brim with food. âBut, why Lotus?â
You search for the meaning on the web. âIt says that this festival happens in the blooming season, which represents the 'rejuvenation of loveâ, in a few cultures. Itâs most visited for old couples to rekindle their relationship, and singles searching for love. Itâs really sweetâŠâ You add, looking at some old married folks hugging each other. âBut itâs kinda weird? Like, imagine someone traveling there just to find love? What if they find nothing and return home with a broken heart and less than twenty bucks?â You ponder out loud.
âYeah, that sucks,â He mumbles, suddenly getting more interested in this festival. He turns to look at you, still paying attention to the empty road. âBut itâs not the end of the world. The love of your life might be right beside ya, right?â
âYeah, I guess.â Youâre too worried about the hypothetical heartbroken person to notice Osamuâs eyes lingering on you a tad longer before his shoulders slumped in defeat and his brown eyes return ahead.
Ten minutes later, and the âWelcome to Lotus Festival â banner appears, its spring colors matching the flowery environment. Itâs so beautiful, the greenish square full of lotus with different colors, bringing such a delicious aroma that it attracted several little birds on the way, drinking their nectar like theyâre in a feast.
Osamu parks his blue jeep alongside a truck, and together you both walk to the festival, leaving your bags behind and carrying only the essentials inside your purse â wallet, phones, some painkillers, and your small polaroid camera.
Thereâre a lot of stalls selling bouquets, natural lotions, hair accessories and floral jewelry, clothes, as well as food and beverage stalls. In the middle of the square, a white bandstand decorated with fairy lights and leaves, with mistletoe hanging in the center.
Thereâs so much to see, that you might be staying there for more than an hour's break.
But first things first, you carry the grey-haired man by hand through the festival, ignoring his confused questions until you finally found your target.
The smell of yakitori invades your nostrils and takes all of your self-control to not steal a bit from a kid who just got their steaming portion. You both look at each other for a second, hungry gaze in your eyes before you two run to the booth, money in hands and mouth begging for food.
âFour yakitoris for the couple.â The seller says evenly, handing you the warm skewers. Osamu forgets his food desire and gazes surprised at you, but youâre already devouring your grilled chicken like a starved lion.
ââŠThanks.â Hesitant, he doesnât correct the seller, handing him the money and moving away in your direction.
Did you really not hear what that guy said?
âMmmmm⊠this is heaven.â You hum in delight, savoring the good taste as you finish your first skewer in record time. You look at him more pleased than before. âThanks for the treat, âSamu. Choose whatever you want next, Iâm buying.â
He nods in agreement and decides to forget the matter, taking a bite of his yakitori.
He doesnât stop until itâs all gone.
You guys keep strolling, you buy some sweets for him while he treats you with a warm drink for the chilling weather, walking on the grass until a different booth catches your eye. On the sign, it shows that itâs a henna tattoo booth, choose one of the holiday models and you get a discount.
You get excited, having a new tattoo sounds super fun and it adds to the memories of this trip. And by the way Osamu is grinning down at you, he agrees with the idea as well.
Approaching the booth, you both look through the catalog, each model more beautiful than the other, making you undecided about the best.
âWe could do matching tattoos.â Osamu proposes, pointing at the matching models on the second catalog page.
You nod, looking through the sketches. âTheyâre all so beautiful⊠Iâll let you decide.â You donât usually trust him with those stylish things, but if you were to choose, youâd stay 30 minutes just gazing at them.
He hums for a moment, before pointing out at a beautiful Lotus sketch. âHow about this one?â
âRejuvenation of love. Itâs a great choice, lots of couples order this one.â The woman owner of the booth says, a small smirk plastered on her face; Your brows raise, and Osamu is nervous, expecting a possible rejection, but you surprise him with your reaction.Â
âThatâs so genius âSamu! That way, we wonât even forget about this festival!â
Both of them deadpan.
âGood luck buddy.â The artist mumbles close to him, patting his shoulder before guiding you both to your seats. Another missed shot.
As it was on the sign, about thirty minutes passed before the tattoos were finally done, a lotus flower now decorating the inside of your forearms. The woman even did a thin stalk in both, which when the two forearms joined, would connect the flowers into a single branch.
This is so meaningful, but Osamu isnât sure if it has the same meaning for you as it has for him. He thought his feelings would be clear as the sun's rays by now, but youâre still oblivious to them, he doesnât know what to do anymore. The hints arenât landing, and the wonder of whether you like him back or not is eating his brain alive, for a long time.
He can keep this trip friendly as planned, visiting Kanagawa for the day before returning to Shibuya as best friends. But thereâs a growing chance that someone else might get the shot that he wants so badly with you, and if he doesnât take this moment now, he might not have another one.
So after paying for the tattoos, he leads you to the white bandstand, wanting to âtake some picturesâ there. He waits for the right moment when no one is there, and takes you by the hand to the middle.
He doesnât let go of you.
âIs everything okay?â You notice the way heâs nibbling his lower lip with his canine, something he usually does to calm down. He takes a deep breath, gazing at your eyes with determination.
âI like you.â
Osamu never liked to stall, so itâs best to just rip off the bandage. He keeps a firm grip on your hand as your brows finally raise in realization. âI like you. I donât know when it started, and I donât really care, I just know that it will never stop. I canât stop wanting you. And I donât know if I didnât hit it right, or your pretty head is too oblivious to notice â Okay, sorry but you know itâs probably the second.â He chuckles, letting out the adrenaline from his pounding heart. ââŠIâm in love with you, _____.â
He recites as if they are the most important words to him, moving closer to you as he stares with passion at your shining, surprised orbs. He takes your face in his free hand, and his heart skips as you accept the caress, interlacing his fingers with yours while still speechless.
He doesnât need an answer to see that you feel the same.
He looks above to the ceiling for a moment, your eyes following and noticing that you both are right under the mistletoe. He grins down at you, one of his cheeky smiles that makes your heart throb in adoration.
âNot that I need one of those to kiss you, but since this is our firstââ He nuzzles his nose with yours, his skin gently grazing and soothing you. He whispers close, not taking his eyes off yours.
âCan I kiss you?â
Enchanted by his spell, you give him a small nod, granting him the freedom to lock his sultry lips with yours, making you forget everything else and focus only on the magical feeling of his passionate kiss, legs weakening and body resting inside his warm embrace.
You canât hear some people applauding you from afar, nor feel the present flower scent around the place. But the lingering thought of your tattoos brushing against each other doesnât leave your head anymore.
Rejuvenation of love. Lotus Festival is true to its word.
a/n: i confess, i love when boys are the one pining around.

All About Imbolc
Imbolc, also known as Imbolg, celebrated on February 1st, marks the halfway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox in early Ireland and Scotland, and also signified the beginning of the first signs of spring after all the harsh winter days. Originally a pagan holdiay in pre-Christian times, there is little in writing about the historic traditions and customs, although many historians believe it revolved around the Celtic Goddess Brigid, lambing season, and cleansing due to observed ancient poetry.
Brigid is a Goddess and daughter of the father-God of Ireland, Dagda. She is associated with quite a few things depending on the sources, but universally associated with wisdom and poetry. Other associations of hers are blacksmithing, protection, domesticated animals, childbirth, fire, and healing. She was also known as a protector of the home and the family.
Once Christianity arose, it is believed that the Goddess was syncretized with the Irish Saint Brigid by Christian monks due to the many overlapping associations. This caused Imbolc to quickly turn into St. Brigids Day and the next day into Candlemas with the rising Christian popularity, enmeshing the holiday associations together.
Today, many people have mixed the traditions and melded many associations from both religious and cultural history to celebrate their own unique way. Common ways to celebrate are making a Brigid's Cross, welcoming Brigid into the home, having a feast in her honor, cleaning the home and oneself, visiting a holy well, and in some parts of the world they still hold festivals and processions carrying a representation of Brigid. Many pagans nowadays are using associations of hers and their connection with nature to create their own ways to celebrate, however, and you can absolutely celebrate however you feel called to do so.
