Uh, anyway, Shane is actually besties with Sam (he'd rather die than admit it though) and they constantly do things to spite Joja and Sam can actually get a good reaction from Shane with some of his jokes. Sam and him were kind of awkward at first, but after a while Sam saw him at the saloon one day and went "HEY!! MY BUDDY SHANE!! COME PLAY POOL WITH US!!" so loudly across the building that everyone turned to stare and Shane almost sped-walked out of the place out of embarrassment (he def stayed and played pool but kept his head down to avoid stares).

Sam constantly talks about funny things Shane does and Abigail and Sebastian are like, "??? The quiet, grumpy town drunk??" But after Sam dragged Shane into so many pool games, Shane loosened up and started a tournament with the old arcade games between the four of them (he kicks everyone's asses at it) and now Seb and Abbi are starting to get it.

There's a competition between him and Sam on who can steal the largest item at Joja without getting caught (Shane has the lead with the pizza he gave farmer)

After Shane stops drinking, Sam is adamant on getting Shane to like joja-cola with him (he's not winning, unfortunately)

One time, Sam bet Shane that he could drink a 12-pack of Joja-cola during one break at work and threw up everywhere from the crazy amount of carbination it has (Even though Shane cried actual tears from laughter, Sam still owed him a pizza because Morris made Shane clean it 😭)

Shane will leave Sam maple bars in his work locker when Sam is having a hard time with his family and denies that it was him (Sam knows) His excuse when caught is that he and Jaz prefer the other donuts in the pack

Shane SUCKS at comforting others, but Sam appreciates the awkward conversation because it just means his buddy is trying to be a good friend.

They both run a secret page that basically makes fun of Morris by posting bad photos or just making a meme out of him

Okay I have a hot take and a controversial opinion here; but I've seen a lot of people get upset over shipping Alastor with other characters due to the fact he's ace, and I totally get it- representation matters. But people shouldn't be getting mad over harmless shipping, especially when it ereases other asexual identities. Demisexuals exist. Asexuals who experience romantic attraction exist. Abrosexuals exist. We want representation too :')

It's a Grian doodle for my lab AU!

No one knows what happened to Grian.

He wasn't always like this, but no one remembers when exactly he changed. He was here one day, laughing and joking with his friends, and the next day he was gone. How long he was gone varies based on who you ask. Jimmy and Pearl say he was only gone for a few days. Bigb says he was gone for two weeks. Martyn claims it was more than a month.

No one else was there to remember the incident, it was a different time then. Martyn still had Netty, Grian still had Taurtis. The lab has changed a lot since then, and many new people were brought into the lab.

When Grian came back, something had clearly changed him. He had burn scars on the backs of his hands, almost like a brand. He barely blinks, he doesn't talk, he just stands there and stares at people. Mumbo and Scar have both tried to get him to talk, but he just looks at them with those purple eyes (had they always been purple? Mumbo hasn't known Grian long enough to remember. He should ask Martyn about it later).

The Watchers ignore him, which is weird because the Watchers don't ignore anyone. Everyone else is in calculated agony, creating food for the Watchers. But they avoid Grian.

Caspian has been updated as well as the update of Cliff and Coast(Coast has only been in unposted doodles before this, apologies for that). The three of them are now the Teal brothers, Cliff being the oldest and a half brother to the others while Caspian is the youngest, this can be seen through their sizes and amount of scales on their torsos.

Coast works for Akore, their uncle, along with Caspian, the both of them are working off their debt to him for the enchantments to have legs, but unlike Caspian who got the enchantment for Hana, his daughter, Coast is just doing it for his general interest in surface life after hearing about it from Caspian. Cliff on the other hand is a bit more distant from his brothers and lives further down the coast from Arcane Roost, possibly in Weeping Willow Strand but I'm not sure yet. He works as a fishermen and port guide due to his sea talents, primarily to provide, but also so he can save up for enchantments as well so he can better try and take care of his son Phinn.

My mind has wandered once again but I'm happy to have worked on designs and story again after so long, even if it's just these snippets.

Ok i finished the first page of that disney thing and I'm gonna post it here bc i want feedback (also it's literally fanart of this fanfic, i did not come up with this dialogue lmao)

first off i know this is formatted terribly lol, i have always drawn my self indulgent comics like this bc i normally draw on paper and it saves space, and since I'm not posting them, I'm never worried about readability, so i do apologise for how tiny the top row is (that's why i replaced my handwriting with text)

what i want to know is, are the pictures too small? is it annoying having to zoom in to read each panel? I'll change how i format the rest of the pages so they're easier to read and understand, but should i retroactively change this first page, too? Or is this format completely fine, and im overthinking things as per usual? any other feedback is welcome, too ;^^
