Happy Pride month! 🌈🏳️‍🌈

I spent a long time thinking about what to paint for this year until I saw a photo of flagstones covered in chalk art of various rainbows. It made me realize that the path to equality and a better tomorrow is paved slowly, step by step, and with love.

As pride month comes to a close...

it's important to remember that here on terf island, trans rights are actively being attacked, and our current government is too easily swayed by negative outside influence from prominent terfs and leaders of anti-trans movements. In light of this, I want to highlight a few UK-based trans charities that do amazing work thoughout the UK to help trans people and champion trans rights. Please donate to them if you have any money to spare.

The Good Law Project has a page listing a lot more charities that are either trans-led or trans-inclusive, including some charities specific to each country of the UK, if you want to check those out, too.

Mermaids - supporting transgender, non-binary and gender-diverse children and young people, as well as their families and professionals involved in their care.

TransActual - a national, trans led and run organisation focussed specifically on working for trans adults in the UK. Particular focus on healthcare and trans people’s legal protections.

Not A Phase - a trans-led, grassroots charity committed to uplifting and improving the lives of trans+ adults, through awareness campaigning, social projects and funding trans+ lead initiatives.

Gendered Intelligence - a trans-led organisation delivering a range of direct services, projects and activities to trans, non-binary, and gender questioning people, as well as a range of education, training and consultancy to organisations and individuals who are working to better their inclusive practices.

Beaumont Society - aims to promote understanding and acceptance of transgender issues, offering support to individuals and their families and advocating for dignity and respect for trans people in all aspects of life.

GIRES - a charity whose aim is to work to help the trans and gender non-conforming communities including those whose preferred expression is non-binary and non-gender. Operated by volunteers who give their time freely to support those struggling with gender expression.

I like to think that Nefarious and Courtney went on dates on Obani Draco and once word got out that they were dating they ended up on every supervillain weekly magazine cover for months

Supervillain Weekly sent their most annoying interviewer guy after their favourite poster boy to always stay on top of the newest gossip. said reporter follows Nef and Courtney EVERYWHERE and asks the most invasive questions just to get a reaction and squeeze every bit of info out of them. Courtney is used to insane reporters and deflects every question they ask but Nef starts tweaking after a while. Can't say that I blame him
