Today, russian airstrike killed three people and a dog who were just strolling down the street of Odesa.
Over 20 were injured.
Ironically, one of the (lightly) injured people is Serhii Kivalov, a former pro-russian politician, who in 2012 co-authored a bill that made russian to be essentially the state language in Ukraine. His castle is now on fire as a result of this strike. Yes, his castle. update: 5 people have been killed

On the night of July 23rd, russia attacked Odesa, a Ukrainian port city. The center of Odesa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The enemy is destroying historic buildings and lives. This night 19 people were wounded, 1 person was killed.
6 residential buildings, including apartment buildings, were destroyed. Two architectural monuments, a temple, were damaged. Dozens of cars were mutilated. Many buildings have broken windows, damaged roofs and facades.
Below you can see the photos before and after russian missile attack

Just remembered a Ukrainian teenager who was killed 2 years ago by a russian missile while he was running to let his elderly neighbors know about an air raid. Killed for having compassion for his community. For being kind.

Last fall, Terrell Jermaine Starr went to Odesa in southern Ukraine to ask chef Nika Lozovka how she keeps her restaurant running during Russai's war. She also talks about how Russian propaganda extended to Ukrainian cuisine, and how chefs in Ukraine are rediscovering their traditional dishes.

I don't get it either. Why my people must die when Russia has so much support? Because on its own there's no way Russians have numerous drones (Iran) and ballistic missiles which they shelled Odesa today. Where is justice? Make Russia pay!  Please keep spreading our voices and donate to our army and combat medics (savelife.in.ua, prytulafoundation.org, Serhii Sternenko, hospitallers.life, ptahy.vidchui.org and u24.gov.ua).

Odesa
russians targeted a neighborhood with apartment buildings & business activities. Eight people died and 18 injured - preliminary count, which, most likely, will raise when everyone is found.
One of the reasons russians occupied Crimea is to make it happen. They send intelligence gathering drones from there, then they send ballistic missiles.
They're not occupying parts of Ukraine because "it was russian lands" although they do justify it like that - Odesa is a city they often call russian, they claim to be getting revenge for the russians there; and they still kill those people they claim as theirs; because it was never about that, if war and occupation of parts of Donetska and Luhanska oblast since 2014 didn't give you a clue; it was but just to kill Ukrainians with more ease and convenience.
