I feel like a lot of media portrays cannibalism as either something gory and animalistic (such as TCM or My Bloody Valentine) or high-class and artsy (such as Hannibal or Fresh). Which is all well and good and fits what each piece of media is going for. But neither of those tones is what I’m going for with David. Cannibalism kind of has two very different but very important facets for him. There’s the actual selecting and hunting of victims, which is a vengeful, furious act targeting the predators who think themselves untouchable. Showing them that they’re not at the top of the metaphorical or literal food chain, in one of the most terrifying and dehumanizing ways possible. And then there’s the actual cooking and eating aspect, which is about comfort and satisfaction. Turning the selected wolf to the slaughter into something so unthreatening that it’s outright nourishing.
Not only does David get a supply of fresh meat to cook great food with, he gets the satisfaction of being judge, jury, and executioner.
#do u understand what i'm saying#oc: david richter#i love my self-righteous lil cannibal oc who thinks he's the normal good one for this#bb u are sick and twisted too just in a really different way <3#because of the. well. rather solitary nature of what he does. he never gets to share a home-cooked cannibalistic meal with anyone#he would probably cream himself if he got the chance to#<- said while i eyeball his final girl#ANYWAYS#ace rambles

Ways to love yourself more: according to your Venus sign 🐚
Image: Viggo Christian Frederik Vilhelm Pedersen.
Some recommendations for self-care and self love for you, lovelies. Take what resonates only 🩷.
Aries: express your needs and behaving as you want without damaging someone. Being rude don't take you anywhere, you feel hurt later. Enjoy your mobility more, dance, sports or more. Feel alive, do what makes you happy. Protect your body, now, jump!
Taurus: be reliable not only to others but also for yourself. Take things slowly with new people, but try to know others. Relationships are for two. Don't waste your potential procrastinating or being with people just because you invest them years. Paint or binge that new series.
Gemini: explore your mind and all that need for learning. Wear those styles and express your mind. Slow down, bb. Take your time. Stimulate your brain with those people who make you feel alive and understood. See others perspectives. Play board games with friends.
Cancer: Spend time with your home, family, and pets. Create a place call home under your own beliefs. Nurture yourself like a mother would do it, like you do it for your loved ones. Share your emotions and your emotional turmoil with someone who cares. Start a journal about whatever you want.
Leo: Live, laugh and cry. Wake up your inner child, and go play with them. Be the queen or king you are. Leave your ego behind for a moment. You can try again the next day. Buy those earrings and what make you happy with moderation. Take a moment and say love you to someone who deserves it. Also, eat that dessert.
Virgo: reaffirm your value without seeking approval from others. Be nice with yourself. Go and relax for a day. Do nothing,it is fine to rest. Find a new hobby where you can appreciate each stage from learning to mastering it. While doing this, try to accept you imperfections because you are worthy of love. Buy that new facial cream! And read that fanfiction book.
Libra: try to accept your natural beauty, not what society expects from you. Date yourself, take a nice coffee or tea. Wearing what you like for the sake of being honest to your essence. Appreciate solitude, the same way you care for partnerships.
Scorpio: learn from past mistakes by taking responsibility for it. Using those transformational gifts for better understanding of your human psyche. Watch that embarrassing movie that you love. Go ask your pet or some person a hug.
Sagittarius: try new things and discovering your humanity but welcom those fears you try to leave in the past. Instead of running away and seeking new knowledge, take a moment to appreciate your surroundings and your grow. Take a silly video of you and your pet or just ride a bicycle.
Capricorn: Spend time with your family, friends and yourself. Find a space in your agenda to be grateful for the people you love and care. Go and enjoy life, do soemthing that makes you feel alive: a simple walk around the park or sleeping 8hr is enough.
Aquarius: share your interests with someone who cares and listen to you. Learning more about different perspectives and ask for help when you need it. Watch that documentary you like, or create a blog where you share experiences with others.
Pisces: be grateful for what you have, people in your life and small moments. Watching that old t.v. show that make you happy when you were a kid. Asking your inner child to choose something random and do it. Wrote that fanfiction about your favorite pair in that t.v show, or just eat cereal watching animal videos.
Take care, love

✧ base secrets - the glass skin foundation routine ✧ (douyin-makeup series)
hey loves, mindy here from glowettee! i'm starting my douyin makeup journey and i'm literally so excited to spill all the tea about achieving the dreamyyyy glass skin base that douyin beauty girlies are known for ✨
first things first, skincare is everything. prep your face with a hydrating toner, followed by the tiniest drop of hyaluronic serum. pat don't rub - we're being super gentle with our skin today! then go in with a moisturizer that's lightweight but still gives that dewy glow.
here's the game-changing secret: mix a pearl-sized amount of liquid highlighter with your sunscreen. this creates this ethereal glow that looks so natural and dreamy. apply this all over and let it sink in for a few minutes.
for foundation, we're going super light. take your favorite lightweight foundation (bb creams work amazing too!) and mix it with a tiny drop of face oil. apply it in thin layers using a damp beauty sponge, focusing on the center of your face first. the key is building up slowly - we want our skin to look like skin, just prettier!
concealer is our bestie for spot-concealing only. use a tiny brush and dot it just where needed. for under eyes, apply in a triangle shape but blend super well - we don't want that heavy instagram concealer look.
finish with the lightest dusting of translucent powder just in the t-zone. the rest of your face should stay dewy and fresh! if you need more glow (and who doesn't?), take a dewy setting spray and press it into your skin with your palms.
the douyin base is really just about looking like you drink 8 glasses of water daily and get amazing sleep. it's giving "i woke up like this but better" energy ✨
stay tuned for part 2 where i'll dive into dreamy douyin eye makeup!
xoxo, mindy 🌸

all in my feels lately…how would the boys comfort their girls when they’re upset?
men are problem-solvers by nature, and the more pragmatic of our bunch (dain, aaric, and brennan) will want to try to fix / undo whatever it was that caused the upset. they’ll learn eventually that sometimes we just want to be listened to, and to repress the urge to fix it all until we’ve gotten it out of our system. and some things just can't be undone, even by a mender.
I see bodhi and liam being more physical and liking to comfort you through touch. and one of their hugs would cure me of all my ills. they're fine with dropping any and all plans for the rest of the day to cuddle or take a nap or just sit together while you each do your own thing (especially for Liam. he's happy as a clam just sitting next to you and whittling). but if you couldn't have the rest of the day off, or had to go do something, they'd still be by your side, holding your hand, etc.
ridoc and garrick are the more playful types, and know how to cut tension or lighten a mood (but they're both smart enough to know when their joking will cheer you up or when they need to be serious!) I could also see them being good at providing distractions as well. they’re taking you out to get ice cream (or whatever food you want) or making up some dumb game for you two to play.
and then sawyer — our sweet boy has been in his share of upsetting situations, and knows what you need to hear, because he wishes someone would have been there to tell him those things... (liz stop bringing up unbonded bb first year sawyer challenge: failed...) he’ll reassure you about the situation and that it’s gonna be okay in the end, or if it’s a more internal thing, then he’ll list off all the things he loves about you (while blushing super hard. he’s still shy despite the fact that y’all have been together for a while.)

cw: size kink, hand kink, horny rambling, body type headcanon for thoma, gn! reader alluded to as being shorter.
i can't stop thinking about big boyfie thoma + size differences. like he's so… tall ❤️ i've always kinda headcanon him as having a bit of a chubby/beefy body type. no defined muscles exactly, like the type of muscles you develop naturally when doing hard labor.
practically towering almost everyone, he's got those big, strong arms and hands, his fingers thick with callouses (i want them around my neck)
with how often he has to carry heavy luggages during work, no doubt he can easily manhandle you with those big paws 😍 pushing and pulling you into all kinds of different positions. what other things you got that's big, bb boy—
he'd be so reluctant to have sex with you at first, because what if he hurts you!! :(( cue sad golden retriever eyes.
but in actuality, the dork has been fantasizing about your first time with him ever since he first laid eyes on you. secretly having a size kink and goes wild whenever he gets reminded of how tiny you are compared to him.
sitting on his lap, all with a coy smile on your face? how dare you 🤨 internally, he'd be fighting for his life. even with something as innocent as holding hands, he'll end up a blushing mess.
i also just love the thought of sweet, innocent-looking guys going absolutely feral on their partners. it's just so 👋👋👋 you know??? (a,, are you seeing the vision, reader. im holding you by the collar of your shirt, im shaking you. can you see it—)
ahsjsks i'd let him decimate my 150cm ass. i have a few more ideas for big boye! thoma and they got me salivating, foaming at the mouth, shaking like a chihuahua. forgive me, cream-stew. expect me to go feral in your inbox a few more times.
also!! how's your health going? hope you're faring well 🥺 —🐾
🔞minors dni
warnings: afab reader, size kink, rough sex, vaginal fingering
// note: bestie I love these asks you are more than encouraged to keep going feral in here (no matter how long it takes me to reply... that's on me bc I'm lazy lol) this is so valid tho I'm kinda short too and size kink is so...🥰🥰
he starts out so soft and slow, stretching your wet pussy with one (1) single fingers, his hands shaking with the effort of restraining himself, not helped at all by the way you desperately beg him to fuck you already... but noooo you're so much smaller than him, the top of your head barely reaches his collarbones, his hands are so big he can completely encircle your ankles, and he thinks there's just no way his huge cock is gonna fit inside you :((
no matter how much you insist he still holds you down on your stomach, one big hand against the small of your back while the other one slowly pumps more fingers past your entrance, leaving so much of your juices gushing out and staining the bedsheets.
he scissors his two fingers before adding a third one, and you whine in frustration: you could already be bouncing on his fat cock but nope, he wants to be gentle :((
you're crying in equal parts pleasure and crumbling self restraint by the time he's done stretching you with four thick fingers and he's trying to replace them with his cock, gripping your hips with both hands and slowly pushing it inside your loose pussy. it's true that it's an incredible stretch but it feels so good!! you start begging again, this time for him to move and fuck you like he means it, and you're lucky this time: he seems unable to keep holding himself back, so yep, he starts pumping in and out of you at a ruthless pace, your poor pussy struggling to let him back in every time he pulls out completely before slamming right back inside. you just know your tummy is bulging out whenever the tip of his cock hits your cervix🥰
at some point, when he pulls out he doesn't push back inside so quickly: he rolls you on your back, manhandling you so easily it makes butterflies flutter in your belly, and hooks your legs on his shoulders, folding you in half. the position feels a lot better already, his cock hitting even deeper, but it's so embarrassing to be reminded of how short you are compared to him, you can't even see his flushed face as he fucks your brains out :((

Hiya honey💛 First, ABANB; 🫠❤️🔥 ruined but also healed my soul, thank you ily you deserve all the ice cream!
Quesstionnn thoooo, I’m still new to the A/B/O universe, would it be possible for one alphas rut to trigger the other’s? 🤔 Like Chan thought he had his under control, but this one is just so, aggressive and aromatic it causes Binnie and Innie to go into theirs?! Could Baby handle it?! Pleeeasse tell me your thoughts oh wise one ❤️❤️❤️
Hi babes! thank you for always supporting the story and being so nice to me 😭 can we get ice cream together instead? 🤗
im not sure about other abo universes or lore, but in my story i'm thinking that it would be possible for one alphas rut to trigger anothers. the first alpha would have to be putting out some crazy powerful pheromones and the other alphas would need to be within at least a few months away from their next rut, so like innie couldn't go into another one so quickly if chan went into his rn, ya know?
I would agree that if any one of them could cause the other two it would be chans. As the head alpha he naturally exudes the most dominance but when hes in a rut it is so much worse, the mean stink clogging up the house and also having baby around who is always putting out the sweetest scents especially since she's getting railed by chan? oh its a recipe for disaster.
i say disaster because an alpha in their rut does not share, not with anyone. rutting alphas are possessive and become incredibly aggressive towards any one who comes near their mate. having all three alphas rutting in the same house with the same girl is a terrrrrible idea that would only end badly for everyone 😰
thats why its so important for chan to leave to the safehouse during his rut. half the reason is because he is is extremely territorial in rut and the other half is so he doesn't set off the other two.
BUUUUUUT if they were able to share... baby would do her damn best to keep all three calm cool and satisfied 😎 tho lets be real it would be a STRUGGLE to be used so mercilessly by all three at the same time for days on end. she was exhausted after going through it with one can you imagine all three?? 💀💀
Thank you so so much for your question I hope this answers it enough! Love ya bb 💕

᱖ Guide to easy make up for beginners𐙚⋆.˚
Hi dear! I`m here to help you with beauty thinly and teach you basics in make up.
First of all, i want to say, that it`s totally normal to not know something or be kinda bad at. We all learn from the scratch and need to practice to becoming actually good at something.
⋆.˚ ᡣ𐭩 .𖥔˚
In this article i will give you step by step instruction and if it would be helpful, i can start writing more complex tutorials and guides.
So,
🎀 1.
𝜗୧ I always start with cleaning my face. My personal cleanser is Aesop. It`s gentle and works great for my skin, it also smells delicious.
💌 2.
𝜗୧ Then, i use moisturizer to make my skin more fresh and juicy for the day, since i will cover and maybe even close my pores with make-up.
🦢 3.
𝜗୧ Usually after that i use colour corrector (i`m asian, so i use blue one, but if you have redness, you need green one)
🫧 4.
𝜗୧ Now we can use foundation or cushion (ts lighter in my opinion) You can even use BB cream, if that`s what you prefer. I use little product to make my look most natural and just enough to make my tone smooth.
🌷 5.
𝜗୧ My personal choice is to do brows first, eyes later. My brow routine is simple, i use clear brow gel and just brush them, add little colour by mixing black and dark brown colours of eyeshadow (or when i find good brow pencil, i use graphite colour one)
🩹 5.1
𝜗୧ For eyes, it all depends on your look. If you, for example, going for something neutral, you need nude colours (beige, brown, creamy) For me, i love pastel pink and it shows in my daily life too. I use light pinks or creamy pinks, almost like my blush, but less bright.
🩰 6.
𝜗୧ Now the blush. I love this step, it`s so meditative for me and i use LOTS of product. I prefer liquid blush, i can blend it well and correct colour, so i would get what i want today.
🌸 7.
𝜗୧ Finally, lips. I use a brush to paint my lips. It helps me achieve that "just kissed and my lips still plump" look. My advice is to look for lipstick that goes good with your blush, almost like it`s the same, but not the same colour.
~🎀🫧
Now you know how to do basic make-up! Hope this guide was easy to understand and follow, and it helped someone.
Let me know if you want me to write about something specific.
xoxo, bambi 𐙚๋࣭⭑⋅˚♡.

<previous chapter> < next chapter >
ACT 1.2
Choso settled comfortably into the worn leather couch at the back of the rehearsal studio, a sanctuary steeped in the history of his band. The painted brick walls were adorned with vibrant posters from past tours, framed album covers, and magazine features, each piece a testament to the journey that had shaped them. This intimate setting was the perfect backdrop for the wrap-up interviews that would weave throughout their documentary, marking the end of the Bleeding Heart tour and ushering in a new chapter for Gifted Curse.
The air was thick with a mix of anticipation, nostalgia, and a hint of anxiety as the bright studio lights cast a warm glow over him. With only a touch of BB cream and chapstick, his naturally bare face radiated authenticity. His freshly styled hair fell in layered waves, framing his features. Tiny silver hoops dangled from his ears, and modest Cuban link chains graced his neck, complementing the silver rings that adorned his fingers and the piercing in his nostril. The simple white v-neck shirt hugged his upper body just enough to hint at the impressive physique hidden beneath the fabric, a tapestry of ink peeking out from the edges. Expensive denim wrapped around his long legs—a testament to how drastically his life had changed over the past eight years, from stretching a family meal at Jay’s Chicken and Fries to making it last days, to now wearing $400 jeans. It was amusing how quickly life could transform.
But this was the Choso he wanted his fans to see: the man who had penned the songs that helped millions cope with their daily struggles, who poured his blood, sweat, and tears into reaching these heights.
As he waited for the production team to finish setting up, it was clear that many thoughts weighed heavily on his mind. You tilted your head, trying to catch his gaze, and for a moment, he remained lost in thought.
“Hey…” you called softly, breaking the silence. His distant look shifted as he focused on you, a hint of warmth flushing his cheeks.
“You okay?” you mouthed silently, and the corner of Choso’s mouth quirked into a bashful grin. You were distractingly stunning today, as you were every day. Your auburn curls, pressed straight, cascaded down into a sleek ponytail that fanned over your shoulder. The toffee-brown pantsuit you wore hugged your curves just enough to tease his memory of your body.
It was amusing to think that just over 2 years ago, you had been virtually a stranger after being apart for so long, just the woman who took on the challenge of helping his band tell their long-awaited story. Funny how things could change.
“Yeah, I’m good,” he replied with a nod, his gaze flickering past you to the bustling activity and low chatter behind the camera. Knowing him well enough to sense the façade, you glanced around the studio before lowering your voice to speak.
“Look... You don’t know me, and I don’t know you. This is just another interview, one of the hundreds you’ve done and will do in the future,” you said, trying to ignore the way Choso’s eyes traveled from your gaze to your lips and down your neckline. They snapped back to your face when you called his name, a playful yet firm note in your tone.
“Huh? Oh yeah... I know,” he responded, a smirk playing at the corners of his mouth. You shook your head, exasperated, just as a crew member stepped in front of him, slate in hand.
“Marker… check…” The loud clap of the slate echoed in the studio, marking the start of the interview. Choso straightened his posture slightly, turning his gaze back to you with practiced attentiveness.
Not that he had to pretend to be interested in looking at you—he could do that all day if he could.
“Okay…” you exhaled, gathering your thoughts.
“So tell me, what’s it like being you?” The question seemed straightforward at first, but the stiffened chuckle that escaped Choso revealed its complexity, hinting at the layers beneath the surface.
“Being me…Are you referring to Choso me or Chosen me?” He clicks his tongue, biting his lip thoughtfully as he weighs his response.
“Whoever wants to tell their story first” you shrug, leaning back comfortably in your chair. Choso’s lip catches between his teeth, his gaze getting caught lingering on your lips again.
“Do you want the long answer or the short one?”
“Long is usually preferred,” you reply with a playful smirk, borderline suggestively, encouraging him to dive deeper.
“But..If it helps, we can start from the beginning. Why don’t you tell me when the story of Gifted Curse starts with you?” Choso studies you intently, the amusement in his eyes gradually giving way to a more introspective gaze.
“Okay.” He smiles, a genuine warmth spreading across his face. He settles into his seat, preparing to take you and everyone present on a journey back to where it all began, ready to unravel the threads of his story and the band's ascent..
“Kamo! My office…”
The voice sliced through the heavy fog of sleep, jolting Choso awake with a stiff pat on his shoulder. His head snapped up from the desk, and he winced as an obnoxious ache rippled through his neck, a reminder of his impromptu midday nap. Drool stained his keyboard, a humiliating testament to his exhaustion.
As he blinked away the remnants of his slumber, the buzz of hundreds of telemarketers in their cubicles surged back into focus, a cacophony of voices blending into a monotonous drone. Choso rubbed his eyes, trying to shake off the lingering fatigue that clung to him like a damp blanket. He had sworn he would only rest his eyes for a moment, but the characters on his computer screen began to dance and swirl, blurring together in a dizzying haze. It was a miracle he had even made it in that day, to be honest.
But the sharp wake-up call from his manager, paired with the stern glare he caught as the man strode past his desk, sent a pang of regret through him. It was as if the glare alone had the power to cut through the exhaustion and remind him of the very real consequences of his choices. The thought of calling in sick flashed through his mind—a fleeting fantasy that now felt like a missed opportunity.
With a sigh, Choso pushed himself away from the desk, the chair creaking in protest. He smoothed down his wrinkled shirt and attempted to shake off the remnants of sleep, but the weight of his fatigue seemed to cling stubbornly.
Last night felt like a dream, reminiscent of countless others spent on stage, singing to a sea of adoring faces in a packed venue. The screech of sound equipment and the thrum of Toji and Suguru’s guitars still echoed in his ears. The He could still feel the adrenaline rush from performing, savoring the moment when the audience sang his lyrics back to him. It may have been just over 200 people, but it felt like a thousand.
Facing a 9-to-5 after a night like that felt like a punishment.
The fluorescent lights overhead hummed relentlessly, illuminating the dull gray walls of the office, a stark contrast to the swirling chaos in his mind. He glanced at the clock, the seconds ticking away like a countdown, and felt the familiar grip of anxiety tighten around him.
“Yeah, I’m coming,” he mumbled, trying to sound more awake than he felt as he trudged toward his manager’s office, the carpet beneath his feet a sea of muted colors that mirrored his mood. Each step felt heavier than the last, a reluctant march toward a confrontation he wasn’t sure he was ready for.
“Close the door.”
Choso leaned against the office doorframe, his dark brown hair haphazardly pulled into a low man bun, strands escaping like wisps of smoke. He looked like he had just rolled out of bed, and in a way, he had—having barely survived a late-night show run that had drained him of both energy and coherence. His white button-down shirt, crisp once but now crinkled from hours of stress, bore the faintest hints of coffee stains. The slender necktie hung loosely, as though it, too, had given up. His dark slacks could have used a steamer, the fabric still wrinkled from yesterday’s wear. But damn it, he was here, and in his mind, that amounted to something.
His gaze fell to the worn, stained carpet beneath his feet, the fibers a dull reminder of the countless hours spent in this place. He took a deep breath and stepped inside, the faint scent of stale coffee and printer ink filling his lungs. The office felt suffocating, the walls closing in as his heart raced with a mix of anxiety and resignation.
“You were late again.” His boss’s voice cut through the haze, sharp and unyielding. He took a slow sip from his coffee mug, the steam curling like a phantom in the air. Choso’s shoulders tensed, the realization dawning upon him like a cold wave—he had hoped to slip past his manager’s gaze unnoticed during that phone conversation.
“I know. I’m sorry, Mr. Caruso,” he started, desperation creeping into his voice. “But I can explain. The train I took barely got me on the right side of town in time, and then—”
Choso froze as he caught sight of his manager’s raised hand, signaling for him to halt the elaborate excuse that was already forming in his mind. He sighed, feeling the weight of defeat settle heavily in his chest. His boss set his coffee aside and leaned back, massaging the bridge of his nose with fingers that seemed to carry the weight of the world.
“Have a seat, kid." He gestures toward the chair opposite his desk, and Choso reluctantly takes it. The moment he settles in, the words spill out before his brain can catch up.
"Mr. Caruso, please let me explain.."
But Mr. Caruso shakes his head, cutting him off as he pauses to scrawl something on a nearby legal pad.
"Don’t beg. It makes my head hurt. Here…"
“What’s this?” Choso asked, glancing down at the slip of paper his boss had slid across the desk.
“It’s the contact information for a friend of mine down at the temp agency. Give her a call, and she can get you in as a favor to me—hopefully somewhere better for you.”
Choso’s heart sank. “So, I’m fired?”
“If you want to use that word, yeah. I’m releasing you.” His boss’s tone softened slightly, but the firmness remained. “Look, you’re smart. You have a good work ethic. Your metrics are decent, and there are worse numbers from people on this floor that I could compare to yours to back you up. But every day, you come in here looking like a fucking zombie. Falling asleep at your desk, barely on time, barely making an effort to look human…”
Choso’s brow twitched at the remark, a flicker of resentment igniting within him, but he held his tongue. It was true that he hadn’t been himself lately. The late nights, the pressure—maybe it had all become too much.
“I know. I’m just… stretched kind of thin right now,” Choso replied, choosing his words carefully. He felt the weight of the moment pressing down on him, and this hardly seemed like the appropriate time to vent about his personal struggles. Judging by the look on his manager's face, he knew it would be pointless.
“Yeah, well… this isn’t a decision I want to make, but it’s out of my hands. The people above me have a strict attendance policy, regardless of performance, and they’ve been giving me an earful about it already.”
Choso nodded despondently, his brow knitting tightly as the implications of the words sank in.
“I understand,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper, the gravity of the situation settling like a stone in his stomach.
“Hey, how old are you, kid?”
“Uh, 20, sir,” he replied, surprised by the sudden shift in conversation.
“Twenty. Shit. I barely remember my twenties. I’ve been working since I was fourteen, and once you hop on that train of scratching and surviving, it’s hard to get off. Hard to chase after anything else.”
Choso remained silent, unsure of how to respond. The truth hung in the air between them, heavy and unspoken, like an uninvited guest.
“I don’t know what your life looks like outside of this place,” his boss continued, leaning back in his chair, eyes narrowing as he studied Choso. “But I can tell by the way you’re looking at me right now that it’s not aligned with where this train will take you. You’re still young—go chase something worthy while you still got it in you…”
The words resonated within Choso, echoing in the hollow space of his chest. He felt a flicker of something—was it hope? Fear? Perhaps both. It was a stark contrast to the drudgery that had become his everyday existence. He glanced at the clock on the wall, the hands ticking away, reminding him of the time slipping through his fingers like sand.
“Maybe you’re right,” he finally said, his voice steadier than he felt. “Maybe it’s time to figure things out.”
His boss nodded slowly, a hint of understanding in his gaze. “Just remember, life’s too short to spend it on a train that doesn’t take you where you want to go. You’ve got the rest of your life ahead of you. Don’t waste it.”
Choso swallowed hard, the weight of the conversation settling in. He looked up, meeting his manager’s eyes, feeling a strange sense of clarity begin to emerge from the fog of uncertainty that had enveloped him for so long.
“But… if I’m wrong…” he started, his voice barely a whisper.
“Give Linda a call,” his boss replied, the finality in his tone leaving no room for argument.
Choso stood there for a moment, the slip of paper crumpling slightly in his grip as he processed the weight of the conversation. It wasn’t just a dismissal; it was a chance. A chance to escape the suffocating confines of a job that had become a cage. With a heavy heart but a flicker of hope igniting within, he nodded slowly, turning on his heel to leave the office, the door closing behind him with a soft thud—an echo of a chapter ending, but perhaps, just perhaps, the beginning of something new
As Choso settled into his seat on the train, he felt a complex swirl of emotions wash over him. The rhythmic clatter of the vessel against the tracks provided a comforting backdrop, but beneath the surface, his heart raced with uncertainty. He had just been released from his job—a decision made with understanding and compassion by his boss, who recognized that sitting at a desk wasn't suited for someone like him.
Relief began to unfold within him, a softening of the tension that had built up over the weeks. The weight of the monotony, the endless spreadsheets, and the sterile office environment had felt suffocating, stifling the creative spirit that thrived in his core. He couldn’t help but smile slightly at the thought of stepping away from that life, a sense of freedom blooming in his chest. The acknowledgment that he was meant for something different, something more vibrant, felt like a small victory.
Yet, as the city blurred by outside the window, that relief was tinged with a sharp edge of anxiety. The future loomed ahead, uncertain and daunting, like the dark tunnel the train occasionally passed through. Questions swirled in his mind: What would he do next? How would he sustain himself while pursuing his passion? The thrill of newfound freedom was quickly clouded by the reality of financial responsibilities and the pressure to make something of himself in a city that thrived on hustle and ambition.
Choso leaned back in his seat, staring at the flickering lights of the tunnel as they passed. The faces of fellow passengers were a blur, each lost in their own thoughts, and he felt a momentary connection to their shared solitude. He was not alone in his uncertainties; they too were navigating their own paths through the chaos of life.
The scholar that was nose deep in a ancient world history book.
The older woman in scrubs ,resting her eyes as well as her bones.
The young couple huddled together, sharing eat buds and watching something on the small scaled phone screen.
The single mother with her slumbering toddler in her lap as she watched the city pass.
With a deep breath, Choso tried to steady his racing thoughts. He reminded himself that this was a chance to embrace his true self, to dive back into the music that had always called to him. But with that reminder came the fear of failure, of not measuring up to the expectations he had set for himself. Would he find success in the world he craved? Could he transform his passion into a sustainable career?
As the train continued its journey, he felt the pull of hope fighting against the weight of doubt, each emotion vying for dominance. He closed his eyes for a moment, allowing the rhythmic movement of the train to soothe him, and he envisioned a future where he was no longer confined, but free to explore the music that had always been his lifeline. The uncertainty was daunting, but perhaps it was also a canvas waiting to be painted with new possibilities.
“I met Cho back in like..2015ish? It had to be around then because my kid hadnt even been born yet and I was in a very weird place in my life..”

Being A Grunge Girl In A Clean Girl Summer
Hey Bestie! 💖 Let’s Talk Summer Makeup – How to Nail That Grungy Cool Look Even When It’s Hot!
Hey, babe! 🌸 Summer’s here, and while we’re all about those sunny days and beachy vibes, let’s be real – the heat can make our makeup game a little tricky. But don’t worry, I’ve got you covered! If you’re like me and want to rock that grungy, effortlessly cool look even when the temps are soaring, keep reading. I’m spilling all the tea on how to keep your makeup looking fab without melting away. 🖤🔥
Step 1: Prep Your Skin Like a Pro 🌞
First things first, babe – summer makeup is all about the base. To keep your look intact, start with a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated without feeling greasy. And don’t forget sunscreen! Choose a matte, oil-free SPF that won’t leave you looking shiny. Trust me, your future self will thank you!
Once your skin is prepped, apply a good primer. Go for one that’s mattifying and pore-filling to keep your skin smooth and your makeup in place, even on those sweltering days. A primer with a bit of a grip will help your makeup stay put longer, so you can slay all day without worrying about touch-ups.
Step 2: The Base – Keep It Light, Keep It Matte 🌿
When it comes to summer makeup, less is more. Go for a lightweight foundation or a tinted moisturizer with a matte finish. You want something that evens out your skin tone but still lets your natural glow shine through. If you’ve got a bit of redness or unevenness, a matte BB cream can be your best friend. It’s like a soft filter for your face – perfect for those grungy vibes without feeling heavy.
Got a few spots to cover? Use a full-coverage concealer, but only where you need it. Keep things light and breathable so your skin doesn’t feel suffocated in the heat.
Step 3: Grunge Eyes – Smoky, Smudgy, and Oh-So-Cool 🖤
Now for the fun part – those grungy eyes! Even in the summer heat, you can totally rock a smoky eye without it turning into a smudgy mess. Here’s how:
Eyeshadow Base: Start with an eyeshadow primer to keep everything in place. Choose one that’s sweat-proof to lock in your look.
Matte Shadows: Stick with matte eyeshadows in earthy tones like browns, taupes, and even some deep plum or charcoal shades. Use a fluffy brush to blend the color onto your lids and into the crease for that effortlessly cool, lived-in look.
Smudge-Proof Liner: Go for a waterproof gel or pencil liner. Smudge it along your lash line, and if you’re feeling daring, add a bit to your lower lash line too. Use a small brush to soften the edges for that perfectly imperfect grunge vibe.
Mascara: Finish with a waterproof mascara that adds volume without clumping. If you’re really into the grunge look, apply a bit more on your lower lashes for that “I’ve been up all night, but I look fabulous” effect.
Step 4: Cheeky Vibes – Keep It Subtle but Edgy 🌹
For your cheeks, go for a soft, natural contour instead of heavy bronzing. Use a matte bronzer or contour powder to add some definition to your cheekbones, jawline, and forehead. Keep it subtle, but sharp enough to give you that edgy, sculpted look.
For blush, opt for a cream formula in a muted berry or dusty rose shade. Apply it with your fingers for a natural flush that blends seamlessly into your skin. Cream blushes are perfect for summer because they give you that dewy, fresh look without looking too powdered.
Step 5: Lips That Last – Bold, Dark, and Beautiful 💋
Now, let’s talk lips! Summer grunge is all about those deep, bold shades that scream confidence. Whether you’re into a classic matte lipstick or a long-lasting liquid formula, go for colors like deep burgundy, chocolate brown, or even a daring plum.
To make sure your lipstick stays put, start by lining your lips with a matching lip liner. Fill in your lips completely to create a base for your lipstick. Then, apply your chosen shade, and blot with a tissue. If you want that extra staying power, dust a little translucent powder over your lips before applying a second layer.
For a more low-key look, a tinted lip balm in a dark berry shade will give you that grungy vibe without feeling too heavy – perfect for those super hot days when you want to keep it chill.
Step 6: Set It and Forget It – Lock In Your Look 🔒
Finally, lock in all your hard work with a setting spray that’s designed to keep everything in place, even when you’re sweating it out in the summer heat. Go for a matte finish setting spray to keep any shine at bay and ensure your grungy look stays flawless all day (and night) long.
Final Thoughts, Babe: Grunge It Up, Summer Style 🌟
There you have it, bestie – the ultimate guide to keeping your makeup looking cool, grungy, and totally fabulous during the hot summer months. Remember, the key is to keep things lightweight and matte, with just enough edge to channel your inner rockstar. Whether you’re hitting the beach or heading to a summer concert, this look will have you feeling like the coolest babe around.
So, grab your makeup bag, turn up the volume on your fave grunge playlist, and let’s slay this summer together! 💋✨

Channeling Monica Bellucci's Timeless Elegance Through Makeup 💋
Flawless Skin Monica's complexion always glows with radiance. Achieve this by using a high-quality foundation or BB cream that matches your skin tone perfectly. A touch of highlighter on your cheekbones, brow bones, and the bridge of your nose will add a soft luminosity.
Defined Eyebrows Her brows are always perfectly groomed—defined but never overly dramatic. Use a brow pencil or powder that matches your hair colour to gently fill them in, then set them with a clear or tinted brow gel for a polished look.
Classic Eyeliner Monica often wears sleek black eyeliner, applied thinly along the upper lash line. For a bolder statement, you can slightly wing the liner out. Gel or liquid eyeliner is your best friend for this timeless look.
Soft Eyeshadow Keep the eyeshadow neutral, often with taupe or soft brown tones. Blend it into the crease to add depth without overpowering your eyes, keeping everything simple and understated.
Full, Lush Lashes Voluminous lashes are a must! Use a lengthening mascara to recreate Monica's lush lash look. For special occasions, consider adding false lashes for extra drama.
Classic Red or Nude Pink Lips While Monica is known for her bold red lips, she also wears neutral or natural shades for a softer, more understated look. Whether you choose a striking red or a nude, select a lipstick that complements your skin tone, and don’t forget to use lip liner for definition.
Subtle Contouring While not heavily contoured, Monica’s makeup includes just a touch to accentuate her natural beauty. Lightly contour under your cheekbones, along your jawline, and the sides of your nose for definition. Use a matte bronzer or contour powder for a soft, sculpted look.
