I've seen an influx of claims that people are “demonizing” John or “turning him a villain” and I think that's an odd response to people calling out things he actually did.

It's almost like what he did was awful and he should be held accountable for it. His later growth does not just dissolve his past, especially a past that consists of abandonment and years of neglect.

The damage of his actions seems to be lost on a lot of you. Try picturing a single mother, now throw in the fact that she's 17, a former prostitute, living in a gang, and is a woman in the 1800s unable to make a safe and proper living.

John didn't do "some damage" he turned Abigail's world upside down. He left her alone with a baby to raise all by herself. I don't think many of you grasp the magnitude of that and the position that put Abigail in.

The death of the Wen Remnants was preventable.

All they would have needed was ONE clan to stand up for them against the others. One Clan to vocally go against the flow of the others. We know for a fact that until Wei Ying's invitation to Jin Ling's 100th day ceremony, everyone had left Wei Ying and the Remnants alone. If nothing else because they did not have the resources to stage a siege so soon after the sunshot campaign. There were months, even perhaps a year if you're being generous, of the Remnants thriving and making a living for themselves. All they would have needed was one clan to vouch for them and provide protection, and that would have been enough.

None of them did.

Politics is not and will never be a good reason to justify not helping people who desperately need it.

Love when the Justice League thinks Batman is a cryptid. This believe is only further enhanced by the face his sidekick, Robin, is clearly a shapeshifter, what with changing their height, hair style, skin tone, and even gender.

Batman clearly thinks that by having Robin look different every couple of years, it will show that they aren't cryptids like it would if Robin didn't age.

But the Justice League is too smart for that. They figured it out! But they are good friends (colleagues) and won't spill Batman's secret, but they will drop hints to him that they know, to show that they are smarter than he gives them credit for (they aren't.)

When the batkids learn that the league thinks this, they start periodically going to the Watchtower with Bruce, taking turns dressed up as Robin.

The League is surprised as Robin seems to prefer taking the form of a child, perhaps to have villains underestimate them? But they just assume Robin is trying out something new.

The batkids definitely tell eachother about what was said/happened as to further sell the act of Robin being a shapeshifter, because clearly it has to be the same person, Robin knows what happened, so it couldn't of been someone else dressed as Robin.

that's great buddy but don't go around thinking you're immune to this. if you're not looking for plagiarism, you likely won't notice it unless its egregiously obvious. hell, you've probably consumed plagiarized content without even realizing it. even hbomb pointed out that these people disguised what they presented pretty well as long as you didn't try and dig deeper. don't come away just thinking of this as a callout piece, take this as an important lesson about vetting your sources. if googling scripts in quotes was enough to expose the original, we should all start doing that shit!!
