WOW I FINALLY FINISHED THIS SET. There were a lot of things I wanted to get right for them so I took some extra time but hopefully it was worth it! The guild for this set is Cobalt Heart- a guild with focus on maritime missions, lead by (of course) guildmaster Neptune. There was no other planet I could've picked for his namesake lol. They're the guild I jokingly call the most jockish, but some moreso than others. I really do hope I did all the characters justice, but if you wanna know more about the individual members, it's under the cut as usual!

Name Origin: The planet named for the god of the ocean

Pronouns: He/him

Weapon: Trident

Ethos (Power): Ocean wave (Control over water- stronger with sea water)

Flaw power is based on: Originally based on his overly relaxed go-with-the-flow nature, but since becoming a father and guildmaster he's matured, and his power grew from simple wave control to more powerful control over the ocean's water. Waves aren't always peaceful, but he's become someone who understands their power and the responsibility needed for it.

Notes: If it's unclear, the marks on his chest are meant to be top surgery tattoos, but in cool wave shapes!

About a month ago something happened with my swim instructor that apparently involved a very close call with a child in the pool, and she was never right after that. Nervous and jumpy and kept obsessively looking around at all the other swimmers. Two lessons ago, right after mine ended, she had a massive panic attack and had to be pulled out of the pool by the lifeguard. Last week she didn’t show up and I just had to go back home.

Now yesterday someone else from the org sent me an email saying my instructor is on indefinite leave and that tomorrow I’ll be starting with another new instructor (my third one in 6 1/2 months) . I’m really sad because I liked my second instructor a lot, and I’m worried for her. I think she was really traumatized. And nobody there really seemed to be taking it seriously (they were still loading her up with classes and kids). Typical American workplace to be honest

#swimming tag #I don’t know how to feel tbh. a lot of the girls I’ve interacted with there are really mean and callous #(the men aren’t any better but the email said it’s one of the women who’ll be taking over my lessons)#I actually did REALLY well at what was apparently our final lesson #I swam the length of the pool multiple times without ANY flotation device or holding on to anyone or anything #that wouldn’t have happened if my current instructor hadn’t been so patient and gentle with me #at first I thought we weren’t gonna work well together bc she was kind of skittish and Fluttershy-like lol-#-and kept being like ‘omg no don’t cry we can stop we can stop’ any time after she’d try to push me a little #but I eventually told her to just keep pushing me mo matter how much I cried lol #and it worked!#so…yeah #gonna be hard to start over…AGAIN :/

Question inspired by today's nyancave p3p stream, do you actually need a license to voice act in Brazil? Thought you might know because you live there

Well, not really a specific license for voice acting, you just need to be a registered actor the same way people need to be to perform in theater, television, movies and stuff

What you do absolutely need is a ton of nepotism though

#I'm very mean about the voice acting industry here okay because it feels extremely closed off and unaccessible to new voices #it's always the same idk fucking 15 people max dubbing every fucking thing from kids cartoons to thrillers to anime #it's so fucking frustrating #do you know how jarring it is that no matter which channel you turn to you'll Always be plagued by omg wait I know that voice #and then it'll turn out a character who showed up in the middle of a horror movie to have sex and die gruesomely is the same va as ladybug #I fucking hate it here so much #my friends love it because they get to treat the vas as celebrities and fandomize them and I don't like to yuck their yum but yes I do it's #bad #like artistically #video games branch out a little more? but then the issue is they're barely credited anywhere outside of the game's end credits itself 🙄#another example amethyst su was voiced by the dub director for the show and she would go on to give herself extra roles #as EVERY FUSION Amethyst was a part of even though that's the exact fucking opposite of the concept behind fusion in the first place #AAAaaaah #and the translation is also shit from time to time like I'm nostalgic for gf but they cut like half the fucking jokes and didn't even try #anyways I'm normal #a tag for asks #also i need to catch up the p3p streams #I was there for the 10 hours of watermelon game though lol

I’ve got two eggs ( sketches ) in my egg carton (my phone) but my anxiety levels are too high for me to take them out ( to show y’all ) cause I’m afraid I’ll break them ( it won’t be perfect )

the way that literally every aspect of the horse ranch expansion pack either was covered by/shouldve been included in a different pack. Lol.. horses shouldve been in pets or cottage living sheeps and goats shouldve been in cottage living the build style is cottage living and strangerville the clothing style is cottage living and strangerville likeee. the world is pretty but its also ely similar to some of the other worlds we have. and nectar making is a completely seperate skill from that juice skill or whatever. IDK

#the fact theyve managed to stretch out a Basic pets pack into like. 4 different packs basically. lord almighty.#cats and dogs + my first pet stuff + cottage living + horses literally all couldve been one pack. maybe not cottage living but likee. idk #obv soesnt rly matter 2 mebc Brother im not wasting money on this game ! im pirating it lol. but yk #i am also once again annoyed to see ppl being like omggg i hate how little is included in this its supposed to be an expansion pack...#but im buying anyways bc i lovee horses/i like the bb/i like the world/well i have every other pack #like im gonna be real kys. pirate it. this is the reason sims 5 is gonna be what it is. bc you guys will be like omg nooo this pack is so #bad AND STILL PAY FULLPRICE FOR THAT SHIT!!!#why would they put in any fucking effort into making a game playable or fun in any way when you ppl will pay them for shitting and smearinh #it on the wall #i also. like that theres more indigenous representation but also imo it feels kind of like. not at all fleshed out. i like the hairstyles i #like the townies but idk ... not rly my place 2 say im just like. sideeying it a little biy
