The barista sighs in annoyance "Ugh really, another one?" as wings erupt from my back, and pincers emerge from the area that was my face.
"New year, new me" I shriek in a twisted inhuman voice, snatching a horrified patron in my newly formed mouth, as I fly out the window.

Things To Do Before 2025🪩🦢🍾

Hey cutiesss!! Hope you all are having a wonderful holiday season! Here are a few things to do in the weekend before the new year to level up and start 2025 on the right foot!
Vision board
Digital or physical spend some time placing pictures from Pinterest that you want to represent your year of progress.
Deep clean your space
Starting fresh and clean with new organization and systems.
Go through your closet
Get rid of anything that doesn’t fit you or doesn’t suit your style.
Set up your planner and calendar
Make sure all important dates are on there and that you have a full calendar of fun activities come January.
Clear out your emails
Go through and make sure you have all your work done for 2024 and that you don’t take any into the new year.
Clear out your social media
Go through who you follow and unfollow anyone that no longer serves you in a positive light. Don’t follow anyone that makes you feel bad about anything.
Write goals
Write out attainable goals for the new year and the steps you must take to reach them.
Write out your habits and how you want them to change
I do this by going through my day and writing down my routine also by looking at my screen time to see what I do and when. Then I can understand how I spend my time and how I can use it more efficiently. Also adding habits that will help you reach your goals is the best way to achieve them.

I’ve been thinking a lot of some of the resolutions I would love to keep going into 2025.
Start doing things for me and doing things that make me happy.
Go to more concerts(bad omens, plot in you, etc) and have an absolute amazing time at Rockville.
Figure out a better writing/posting schedule. I feel like my stories are being severely effected because I can’t decide on what to work/post next.
Interact more on here. There are so many wonderful stories on here I have yet to read because my life is so chaotic. I would love to find time during the week to sit for an hour and read some stories on here.
Also find more time to read outside of fanfiction.
Unplug a bit more from social media. Just focus on what’s around me and breathe.
Try to stream more on twitch because I have a lot of fun with it.
Lighten up my work load. I feel like my mind is on so many different ideas/projects that I need to cut back beside its effecting my mental health.
Not care so much on how others see me when I know the kind of person I am. (Easier said than done but it’s a long process)
Keep my own peace and never let anyone try to destroy it again.
Take absolutely no shit from anyone.
It’s hard for me to keep resolutions so I’m hoping to keep up with it. I cannot wait to say peace out to this hell of a year in one week. Now enjoy this selfie no one asked for.

new year, new era💗💗I really wanted to do a glow up plan to become the best version of myself before 2024.
STYLE
• Change my hair color
• Make a clothing vision board
• Find your signature scent
SPACE
• Organize my room
• Get rid of clothes/objects I no longer use
• Organize my workstation, make it an environment pretty, fun and productive
• Make your bed for 21 days
• Keep your room clean for 21 days.
BODY
• Find a skin care routine, invest in great skin products.
• Find a workout plan that works for you and stay consistent for a month.
• Get at least 8 hours of sleep for 21 days
MIND
• Set boundaries with school or work, prioritize my mental health.
• journal in the morning for a week Every day for two weeks, write down 3 things you are grateful for
•Avoid social media in the morning
FINANCIAL
• Set a budget
• Learn to say no when it comes to spending money.
• Find inexpensive date ideas (picnic, baking, movie night, etc.)
• Take part of my salary and invest or keep it
• Don't buy things you don't have need
INTELLECTUAL
• Read a book this month (self-help books are the best)
• Learn a new skill (piano, painting, makeup, sports, etc.)
• Listen to a podcast while getting ready in the morning
SOCIAL
• Stay away from toxic people
• Spend an hour with a friend every day for a week
• Call a friend instead of texting them
FOOD
• Drink three bottles of water every day for 21 days.

how to balance your mind, body and soul during a hectic time

be aware of yourself
be aware when your mind, body or soul is going through something. whether its just stress from school or something greater, still be aware. if you are mentally stress then your body tends to suffer with it. ask yourself "am i well?" "how am i doing?" your body usually tells you if you are stressed by being more tired, body aching, your mind is cloudy, you tend to breakdown or want to breakdown randomly, you constantly feel like you are in fight mode. its okay to feel these things but you also want to do something about it. i know some of us are "stress addicts" because thats sometimes all we know. but connect with your body and be in tune in what you need.
some ways to help cope: jogging, running, walking, yoga, meditation, prayer, journaling, listening to up beat music, cleaning your space, taking a shower or bath.
know what you want
change happens in life whether we like it or not and that can be stressful. once you are aware your body is going through a crisis, plan. plan out your life around the situation and make goals in life related to that. sometimes its out of our control but you have control over the way you respond. make sure your goals are intentional and meaningful, once you do this your body and mind can connect to your soul and you can live a more intentional and healing life.
reflect on yourself and life
ask yourself questions "what do i want in life?" "what is my purpose?" "how can i live my life to fulfill that purpose?" its okay to not know. that gives you a reason to explore and try new things, things you think you won't like, TRY IT!! everyday live with purpose and attend to your mind, body and soul. if that means walking for 10 minutes, reading a page, journaling about how you feel then do it. i think some people underestimate these acts but dont think that spending hours on your phone and online, overthinking and complaining but do nothing about it is doing more harm.
lastly DISCONNECT
sometimes being on social media can alter our way of thinking. you see someone your own age have all these luxury cars, big house, designer things and think you are behind in life but half of the time its not real and if it is SO WHAT. you are on your own path of life and that is what matters. dont try to be like someone when you dont really know what they are going through. i guarantee you alot of famous people have everything and yet are still unhappy and live an empty life. focus on you and your own life always.
