HEY HEY thanks so much for asking about my boy!! he is actually a human, but unfortunately his class is still a secret from my party so I’ll have to keep that under wraps for now 👀‼️ what I can tell you is this:

- he doesn’t really have any memories of his past

- he first started seeing magic after encountering fellow party members autry and sunless at the shop where he works (after rolling the campaign’s first nat 20 babey!!), and immediately fainted when seeing their true forms for the first time.

- the night after meeting the party, he had the first dream he can ever remember having, where he was on a battlefield holding a sword and overwhelmed by a feeling of loss and grief

- he is in possession of an ancient enchanted relic that, after bringing it to sunless to be identified, they discovered transforms into a sword. he of course dropped this sword on the ground immediately lol.

- he didn’t own a phone of his own (in his words, he didn’t have anyone to talk to), but party member aidyn gave him a nokia. he still hasn’t sent anything to the party’s groupchat yet, though.

I’ll be sure to give more updates on his adventures and lore (and relationships) as they come up!! session 4 is this weekend and I’m absolutely vibrating from excitement hhhhhh

19. Season one finale! Let me just reiterate that I hate Travis. Nat is right - he nearly died, everyone spent the night tripping balls, his brother is missing, and he’s STILL bitching and moaning about her not telling him every guy she slept with before him?

21. Yeah, yeah, that entrance to the reunion was simultaneously cool and corny as hell, I’m too lost in Melanie Lynsky’s glorious rack to care.

22. I feel like there’s significance to Lottie being called Lot occasionally (like from Bible), but I’m not well-versed enough in scripture plus I’m too sleepy to think of it right now. I wonder if the show will end with anyone turning into a pillar of salt.

24. To reiterate my position on doomed yuri, Misty and Jessica? That’s the stuff, babey.

I find it interesting that the three people at the little altar thingy are Lottie, Van, and Misty, aka a girl who’s implied to be severely mentally ill and completely unmedicated, a girl with a drunk mother who’s been hiding her budding sexuality for years, and a girl who’s so desperate to feel wanted she’s willing to poison someone who rejects her romantically and (as she believes, because black boxes don’t work like that) sabotage the group’s chances of rescue so she doesn’t have to feel like an outcast ever again. As in, three people who’d be very susceptible to suggestion, the desire to have have explanations for why bad things happen even though sometimes there just isn’t one, and a group dynamic?

26. Okay, season one over. Not bad, a little more interpersonal drama than I was anticipating, but ya know, not dreadful. I’ll watch the next season. Can’t wait for culty weirdness.
