Research for an au fic I’m working on: how would Azula act and behave in a modern setting? And I don’t mean re-imagine her character within a modern context and stories. This isn’t Azula, but she’s an overachieving American high schooler with strict and overbearing parents, or Azula, but she’s the soon-to-be CEO of her father’s multinational conglomerate based in Japan or something. No, I mean how would Azula as she is in canon, Fire nation princess and all, act and behave if you simply just took her from her world and plopped her into [insert current year you’re reading this]?

Hey so I'm curious, if y'all have ever thought about this reblog/tags/notes with your favorite spell casting sound (the little music notes/sounds that play as you cast a spell)

#y'all already know what my answer is LMAAOOOOO #like i think my second favorite is..... wow its hard #ice and death sound so pretty. im leaning towards death because of the night sounds and the rippling water/river noises #and also its just my aesthetic the fucking wet snarl at the end is so mecore #i also like the balance spell sound. it fucks #OKAY WAIT I ALSO LIKE THE STAR SPELL SOUND #the little magical plink at the end. it makes my autism happy #whoever composed the music/sounds for each spell deserves 1 billion dollars because they're so creative and pleasant #like the variety. shadow magic sounds warped/whisper like and balance ice life and storm are just pure music #also the different instruments for different magic schools!!?!?!? the horns for fire and the string instruments for life???? Watching a Winx Club video and huh, Mal from Descendants finally has another member in the 'our franchise slowly ignored our interest in art and creating it': Bloom.

#like GENERALLY even i forgot bloom was into art early on #but like thats literally cause the show never touched on it again beyond the early seasons #with them essentially speed running it out in favor of....i dunno...generic magical girl whose the lead #and also music #because we couldnt let musa be the one into music no no no they ALL need to be in a band and bloom lead singer #like reboot at least seems to be back to acknowledging it from looks of the animation test we got #aka bloom trying to draw getting frustrated- mood- and accidently setting fire to the paper when throwing it #so uh #theres that #though descendants at this rate has zero chance to return mal to being into art #since mal aint even coming back in stuff #and they basically made her also main character more as a personality and shit #with D3 showing her doing some spray painting but thats it really
