I love the idea of Reg being a secret pottymouth

Like most ppl think he’s this proper, kinda of stuck up guy raised in the House of Black who are too sophisticated to swear

But really whenever he’s alone, or with a few certain people, he swears like a trucker

So one day he’s in the potions room working on smth extracurricular, and James comes in cuz he has to make up a lesson

Reg happens to have just spilled smth, and James walks in to hear “shit, fuck, merlin’s motherfucking arse! This fucking jar…”

James just stands there for a moment, flabbergasted, before he bursts out laughing

Reg whips around and turns red, and ofc he threatens James and all that, but James is, for once, not the least bit threatened cuz Regulus looks way too cute when he’s blushing

It's so cool that potions are real and we can just buy them at actual stores. It's also really cool that we figured out how to dehydrate and shape them so that they be measured in perfectly even doses. Like wow I got a migraine about to knock me out? Eat Potion of Migraine Pain Relief (acetaminophen)!
