i miss zhongli so much :(( imagining coming home to zhongli after a mission that spanned for months. let's say he gave you some form of amulet infused with geo so he can somehow "locate" you but of course, seeing you home is much, much different.

you see zhongli and immediately hop into his arms, hugging him tight, not wanting to let him go. he chuckles as he rests his head on your neck while you bury your face in the crook of his neck. he mumbles a small, i missed you, and he presses a soft kiss on your temple.

he's warm to the touch, of course, because he's been brewing tea so you can have something warm in your stomach. he's laid out food for you and he'll run a bath before you rest. and that night, after your bath, he massages you until you fall asleep in his arms.
