I've noticed people in the UK going wild for this song, after thinking only my family treated it like an anthem because we have one family member called Caroline. So now I am curious if it's just a UK thing, is it a Caroline thing or is it just a 'Sweet Caroline' thing?

I went to a family party, and this older lady really wanted to dance to a song she adored. But no one would. Except me. She didn't really know me that well, but she was thrilled to have someone who would dance with her.

She was the lady who cut the cake afterwards, and yes... My pieces where definitely noticeably bigger, and anyone who knows me knows just how much I love cake.

Family Party

I can recall a particularly bright summertime day

A big family party is held in the backyard    

Everyone had gathered around from near and far to this event

The happy sensation of fits of laughter heard all around
