The mirror is thus at once an object among others and an object different from all others, evanescent, fascinating. In and through the mirror, the traits of other objects in relationship to their spatial environment are brought together; the mirror is an object in space which informs us about space, which speaks of space. In some ways a kind of picture, the mirror too has a frame which specifies it, a frame that can be either emptied or filled. Into that space which is produced first by natural and later by social life the mirror introduces a truly dual spatiality; a space which is imaginary with respect to origin and separation, but also concrete and practical with respect to coexistence and differentiation.

there are no mirrors in barbie land, not in the beginning or in scenes when we see the car mirrors, which means the barbies don’t really know what they look like. barbie responds to a compliment with “thank you, i feel beautiful” and whenever else she’s talking about her appearance, it’s just about how she feels.

Damian Wayne hates mirrors.

Staring at a boy of 10 in front of him.

Danny can't stand mirrors.

His hand covers one of his eyes and imagines green one's staring back.

Damian finds mirrors unpleasant.

He smiles and wonders why it looks so unfamiliar on his face.

Danny can't help but stare at mirrors.

A smirk on his face. It looks familiar.

Damian longs to stare at mirrors.

Waiting for someone else to stare back.

Daniel waves goodbye to the mirror knowing he'll be back.

Promising to smile the next time he sees one.

Damian turns away from the mirror ready for the mission at hand. Knowing he will be back to see the ghost of a boy he left behind.

Music Stuff - several creators - 4t3 conversion - for @bomberrysims

Here's the first part of her (public) commission, a set of mesh edits and conversions for a nice music / recording studio. The Get Famous small screen and the floating microphone (floats at desk height, please use ALT to make it fit from any angle) are clutter, but all the other items are functional:

The Get Famous music station works as a Showtime turntable and requires it. Screens are backlit with fullbright shader for extra cool points. When in use, the sim will step in a platform that doesn't exist, but unfortunately that's part of the animation and not just a slot. Despite that, works fiiine

The @ravasheencc ring lights from their Get Famous add-ons work as mirrors, also have fullbright shader in the lamp area, and also have a slot for a camera, plant, whatever you want. The small one is a wall mirror (as Bomberry asked me to), the big one is a regular ground mirror

The @lulujarresims microphones also work as mirrors, but no slots. They're a tad higher poly, in the 3k range, though.

All of the items are recolorable even if partially - the music station is only really recolorable for the table and the desktop computer, really. They're the kind of stuff that aren't meant to be recolorable but goddamn it, everyone here knows how I am about this kind of stuff :P
