Hello! I wonder if you remember me..

It brings me so much joy to see your blog and subsequent AU grow this much, of course this is besides the tremendous growth I've seen with your art! I can still remember the days where you would make traditional art and held a giveaway for some watercolour polaroids...

I know the mysmes fandom is a bit past it's glory days, but I'm very happy to see blogs like yours that keep it alive :) I might not interact often, if at all sometimes, but I do truly wish you the best for the upcoming future, whether it be AU, fanart, or just your own personal life.

Perhaps it won't mean much from a tumblr anon, but you should be very proud of yourself, because I'm certainly proud of you and your blog!

i still have much to discover from Mystic Messenger; Another Story, DLC, etc… i’m glad i can contribute even when the community is small. i’ve met some pretty rad people because of this blog, and i hope we can all continue to share our silly little ideas for our funny anime boys.

as for AU stuff and my own spin-offs, this blog primarily runs on asks aside from my VERY RARE standalone arts. i encourage engagement! let me weave you a puzzle to solve!!! i’ll make you feel things along the way, i promise it will be fun <3

I saw this post and actually really really like parallels between Mims and Airk and the possible friendship they could have if they bonded over their shared traumas.

And like, ok, maybe a crack ship, but hear me out

- Long Rambly Thoughts on Mims -

What if Airk and Mims got together?

In stories like these, everyone is paired off and ends up with a happy kissy ending.

Elora breaking up with Airk and being destined for Graydon means that Airk is without his pair.

And Mims. Daughter of the Greatest Sorcerer and somewhat defacto leader of the Nelwyn while Willow is gone. Is sort of a princess.

She has this great potential for just as epic of a heroes journey as they other girls. Instead, she's just a side character. Just the thing that keeps Willow going.

Which is ok! Willow is and should be a central character. He needs motivation for his journey.

I just think.. that Mims deserves more.

Also, the point of the original Willow movie was to have a movie where a little person is the central character. Its Willow's name on the title and his journey that we follow.

Willow already had a love. And its unlikely the show will have a side plot of Willow finding love again. (Tho I would really love it if they did. Older widows still deserve love!)

And it just seems... like an untapped narrative to not have a little person romance.

Cause! Like! We dont get those! There may be a few stories out there that feature a little person romance. But its rare.

So how cool would it be to see Mims become a hero like her dad and then fall in love during some epic quest? Pretty cool it you ask me.

Now, back to Mims and Airk.

Im not saying they would work as a romantic pair. We haven't seen any interaction to see chemistry or anything.

But, if Mims wasn't a little person, then Airk getting with the only other princess in the party would be a given.

Anyways. Like I said, its a crack ship. They havnt even met.

I guess my real thesis is how I wish Mims was a more important character. And that she got to adventure too. It would add to the epic little person heroic adventure that is the Willow mythos. And I think really cool.
