Nope . Just don't like it. Apart from the animation of toothless and the light fury and the stark contrast to how toothless looked in the first movie and this one .

The plot choices just don't cut it for me , yeah I get the dragons gotta go the hidden world but man it could've been done so much more better without the horrible romantic subplot which honestly had a 10% emotional hold on me ... Like what???

You're using a generic rom-com trope for dragons to give the dragons motive and the story emotion??

You're telling hiccup who spent YeArS trying to uncover the secrets of dragonkind wouldn't in a heartbeat find the hidden world and kick ass to save toothless and keep dragons safe regardless?? We needed toothless and the light fury for what?

I mean wtf wasn't this whole franchise from the fuckin start about fRieNdShIP and bonding between humans and dragons being unbreakable???

I love httyd with all my heart. Truly my favourite animated movies ever. I have sobbed at every damn ending of the movies. I have watched all of them more timed than I'd like to admit .I will die fighting for it.

I am a daughter of television so I cannot count how many times I was in front of a tv through the years watching these series and how much I liked them. honestly the chapter of Tales from The Crypt about Santa or the one about the girl trapped in another dimension of the twilight zone left a mark on me.

i grew up in rural SE Asia. there were no street lights, so the nights were always pitch black and the stars were always visible. armies of trees separated the houses, but youll still hear faint yells of arguing couples.

street dogs would often howl. odd noises from the outside were always normal.

our neighbours would sometimes tell us of a “woman sweeping the leaves” in our front yard. my dad who owned a small shop would often hear “customers” knocking. in the middle of the night.
