isn't it wild that even though silver (and sebek!!) are canonically buff and strong, they're barely represented that way in-game? maybe the PE uniform cards depicted that well, but everything else just nerfs their god-given right to beefy glory... also people need to make more content of cheeky silver. it's canon. he's so blunt sometimes lol

I've drawn him a couple of times, just really little/in the background. but I should draw him more, I love this guy a lot! I have many, many thoughts about him and the way he parallels Silver...and also I think it is extremely funny that his ghost is stuck in a ring. especially considering where that ring has been for the last 16-ish years.

sorry i'm not done but how can you just drop this bombshell that malleus literally used to hate humans, that he'd refer to silver as "that thing" , that he thought lilia should've just dropped off the baby with some humans and move on with his life!!

and yet!! it was malleus who ordered the castle to have baby food delieverd to lilia's place for him, and it was malleus who'd sneak out whenever he could to come see silver and make sure lilia was taking care of him okay. and it was malleus who was so, so gentle teaching silver and sebek magic where lilia was so very crude

and after 17 years of malleus quietly loving him in his own modest way, it was ultimately the boy's tears - that thing's tears - that drove him to stop time and freeze the world over

So I wonder 🤔, what would lead Lilia to give Malleus such a look.

And then I recalled how Meleanor would sneak out.

So what if Malleus did the same? Without anyone knowing?

Meleanor had Lilia on her trail always.

But what about Mal? What if he snuck away without anyone knowing (we know he doesn’t have a problem with that now).

And the mayhem that caused?

The castle is in disarray looking for him. Lilia is called in and of course he’s worried and pissed off.

What do you mean you lost Malleus? What do you mean you can’t find him?

Inwardly, he’s frightened. What if something happened? There’s danger out in the world no matter how strong little Mal might be.

So he goes searching and he finds him.

I can just imagine his look then. The worry, the relief, but also, the stare he gives him when everything settles.

Little Malleus knows he messed up big time.
