He continued, unconciously echoing her own words. "Perhaps, but if you truly saw the faces of the Kindred, then someones fate was sealed that day, and even Gods quail before the Kindred's terrible might." He said, a grim smile quirking his lips.

Perhaps, somewhere in a far distance, across time and space and light and matter, there was the faintest echo of 'Stick!' coming from the mighty jaws of a creature to whom light and life and joy were fleeting, almost meaningless concepts.

"I understand how elements work, girl." Aatrox said, waving an irritated hand. "But the introduction of a new source of air would not cause any close to an explosion, it would simply allow the fire to rage slightly more than before." He was simplifying, of course. Fire was a constant companion in war, so Aatrox knew more about fire than most.

"Running would have made things worse as well, no?" Aatrox questioned. "You would have been tortured by your parents screams to come back and save them, instead you did the right thing, and tried to save them. That you made things worse is irrelevant, you tried. You were how old?" He questioned, Raschem laying a calming hand on his friends brow, trying to remind him of the days when he had spoken to those broken by Wars cruel embrace, trying to sift through the fractured remnants of a mind to find the mirror-bright pieces of personality that still shone through.
