help I got into embroidery

I've finally finished my Dread Wolf tarot embroidery from Dragon Age Inquisition! Clocking in at 64 hours of work, it measures 11.5 X 19.5 cm and I've been chipping away it during my downtime at work. My fellow community council members on Dragon Age: The Veilguard may have been biased while helping me choose which character's card to do, but I'm so grateful they did because it was so much fun to work on, and so different from the previous ones.

This is my fourth large Dragon Age character card project, and the first one I started since I uprooted everything to train as a costumer. Having a portable yet elaborate project was comforting while travelling for new experiences.

Now, who's excited for the new game later this year?!

A gift for @makoredeyes based on their own artwork. They made the artwork for me to stream on my birthday last year and it's taken ever since to finish this. It was spawned from discussions of theoretical exo anatomy and LEDs represented as beads.

30 hours into the signup window …

and we are blowing past last year's (record-setting!) numbers. Can't hardly even see them in the rear view mirror …

Last year, at 29 hours we had 223 individual creators offering 312 auctions in 88 listed fandoms and 76 write-in fandoms.

This year? Well.

We have 354 individual creators offering 496 auctions in 106 listed fandoms and 124 write-in fandoms.

That's … amazing.

Just below them three orgs keep changing places - MECA, the Young Center, and Freedom to Read are neck and neck with their positions swapping (again!) AS WE'RE TYPING this post.
