what i love about princess tutu is that it's a media you really can't make into an au. like you cannot go "[other media] but princess tutu" because of just how much each character and point is like integral to the story. if you change duck to someone else and if you change mytho to someone else, it changes everything. to change the story is to change the glory and hope of it or something. like its fun to THINK ab but you cant actually go "omg imagine [media] but princess tutu!" without changing multiple things ab the story. drosselmeyer would live for it bc he's a freak for tragedy BUT as a reader it would stink yk
