Spirit holds-

Spirt holds refer to the pocket dimension shinigami keep the spirits of their successful reaps, though the term garden would be appropriate considering who's sprit hold we are talking about.

Keeping In line with my Milo's generally older shojou asethetic I obviously had to give them a pretty little garden to hold their proud collection. "Deaths garden" as it's labeled spans on seemingly forever consistent of a mossy stone path and a elongated and curved gazebo like this but make it just a lil wonkey. Surrounding the gazebo is a extensive collection of various blooms from a variety of places and colors yet it never seems tackey or too much. I'll ramble about how it looks another time but let's get into the spirit munching stuff.

The spirit is extracted as the soul enters the soul plane milo does this with the passed in mind and silently tugs it out from the back around the heart-ish and wisps it away. But milo doesn't like eating their spirits all that much only doing so in a emergency. (shinigami eat spirits for two reasons; power or to lessen their greed.) They only eat them when the spirit is far to fragile to be in the hold or when the first greed of wanting the world's love sticks too their throat like a tacky burnt caramel.

Though spirits are also eaten for ceremonial reasons too (it's nowhere near finished but I wanna take inspiration from both Japanese and latin American/Mexican folklore and traditions to build up on the shinigami realm) like loss, birth, union, the will of the father and a bunch more stuff I'm currently researching to make accurate. But in general a spirit hold is either a fridge, trophy room or some mix of both depending on the shinigami, shinigami eat spirits to gain power, weakness of the spirit or due to something involving their wish but they also eat them for ceremonial reasons as well.

And to be specific shinigami can taste the C.O.D/the emotions behind the death each having a distinct taste depending on how sensitive they are too emotions.

"Okay, look." Danny sucked in a long breath. "I've thought about this long and hard, right? And you know, I really don't think I want to do this, soooo, now that I've come to that decision, we can just call this good, yeah?"

Sam scoffed. "Fat chance, Fenton. You're doing this whether you like it or not. Quit being such a baby."

"You just gotta relax!" Tucker said, clapping a hand on Danny's shoulder. "It's really not as bad as it seems."

"You're kidding, right? Please tell me you're kidding. This is, like, more dangerous than fighting Plasmius, the Ghost King, and - I don't know, Clockwork all at the same time!"

"Why would you be fighting Clockwork?"

"You do remember he tried to kill him the first time we met him?" Sam asked apathetically. "I'm getting tired of this. You've got one more chance before I come up there and manhandle you into doing this, ghost boy."

Danny balked, turning paler than normal. "You guys don't get it! I'm just -" He snapped his mouth shut as he realized he'd been about to spill something he very much did not want to spill.

Unfortunately for him, Tucker and Sam knew him too well. They stuck him each with their own look of suspicion. "You're just what?" Tucker asked.

But Danny didn't answer. Instead, he slouched in on himself, folding into a position Jazz would surely give him an earful of a lecture on the importance of good posture if she saw him like this. "It's nothing," he grumbled. "You two would just laugh."

Though he didn't see it, Tucker and Sam exchanged a look. Sam's face softened from utter irritation to mild disdain as she saw the pitiful puppy-dog face Tucker was giving her. Seriously? she asked with her eyes.

Yes, seriously! He needs this.

I don't want to coddle him!

It's not coddling, it's called supporting our boyfriend in his time of need.

Sam let loose a loud sigh. "We're not gonna laugh at you, Danny. If it really means that much to you."

Danny cast them a sidelong look. "Right. Because you sound so genuine about it."

"C'mon, you know she means it," Tucker prodded gently. "She's just being her sassy Sam self."

"Hey!"

"If there's something on your mind," he continued, ignoring Sam's protest, "we want to hear it. That's what we're here for."

"There's a reason we love you, dork," she said, a smile finally crossing her face as she punched Danny lightly in the arm.

Danny couldn't help but crack a tiny grin of his own. "You promise you won't laugh?"

"Mmm, within reason."

He sighed and somehow slouched into his seat further. "I'm... scared, alright? I'm scared of this."

Sam laughed.

Immediately, Danny whirled around to face her, eyes blazing. "You promised!"

"Sorry, sorry!" she said between giggles. "Okay, sorry. For real. But seriously, what's there to be scared of? It can't be any scarier than flying, and you do that all the time."

"It's way scarier than flying! At least when I'm flying I have control! How am I supposed to have control over this?"

"That's the point of practicing," Tucker said. "So that way you do have control. Like I said, it's really not that bad once you get the hang of it."

"You won't know till you try," Sam taunted in a sing-song voice.

Danny's eyes flickered back and forth between his partners. Tucker wore his heart on his sleeve often enough for him to know he meant his words. Sam preferred to hide behind a mask of indifference and righteous indignation, but she couldn't hide her true feelings from him after so many years.

"Fine," he grumbled, sitting up. "I'll try. And I'm sure I'll regret it."

Ten minutes later, the three sat with pale faces and clenched fists.

"How. Did you manage. To do that?" Sam whispered in bewilderment.

Danny's hands refused to let go of their hold. "I tried to tell you!"

Tucker shook visibly. "I thought you were exaggerating when you said you drive worse than your dad!"

"How could I possibly exaggerate that?"

Sam's poor little Impala sat perfectly nestled at an angle, straddled between two of the dumpsters behind the Nasty Burger. The little blob ghost clan who had claimed the dumpsters as their home had come out to investigate the commotion and were currently cuddling up to the three shell-shocked teens, chirping in an effort to calm them down.

"I want to know how you always forget you literally have the power to turn intangible!" Sam punctuated her statement with another punch to Danny's arm, this one harder than the last.

"Well, excuse me! I'd like to see you try to remember that sort of thing when you're in the heat of the moment!"

"I really can't believe that somehow, Danny Fenton is a worse driver than his dad," Tucker whistled, unfazed by the argument happening to his side.

Two of the blob ghosts, Jeff and Ketchup, glanced at each other from their spot squished against Danny's stomach before returning to their cuddle session. Nothing really out of the ordinary when these three were involved.

can be pretty hyperactive, forgets things regularly (even important things, forgot he turned into a heartless in kh1), distractable, later on he seems to have some problems with emotional dysregulation. hes constantly called lazy by his friends but as soon as hes doing something he likes he has all the energy in the world, and also tends to dismiss his own intelligence despite actually being pretty smart, both of which are things that i think are decently common with undiagnosed adhd

about my cat sith kin!

so I have confirmed as of now that I’m a catsith otherkin :3

I remember starting my life as a normal cat, normal black cat. I had a mate aswell, I’m unsure of his colors. anyway we lived outside in a small hole of a tree. One night he just snapped, he broke my neck with one bite and I was dead. Even though I was dead I still remember him eating out my heart. He left me there with a hole in my chest. I then remember being lifted into the sky, just a little above the tree line. Then an entity I couldn’t see spoke to me. It was telling me that I am to be the new “King of Cats” like the leader of the cat siths. Still unable to see the creature behind the voice, a stone heart came into my view, a pentagram carved on it.

after that I recall waking being larger, stronger, and braver. I had horns on my head and red sudductive eyes.

my human form is a pale women with long black hair and a perfect body shape. I’d eat the souls of men by sudducting them, then once the soul transports to me, I’d scratch either a pentagram or an upside down cross.

I believe that I can change whenever I want and unlimited times because of the fact that I was the “King”

Also when in transformation to the cat, it was like a werewolf, like slow and kinda painful.

Now we can get into how shinigami are formed in that post I say, "Milo is a romantic through and through sewn together with spilt tea, pressed flowers and lipstick marked letters." That list of items can be related to a general cliché of romance meaning that father grim could have possibly forseen the change of Milo's greed. I'll be honest the main inspiration for this whole idea was eggio's divinity au for Sampo from hsr. (pretty good read imo) but the way father grim goes about forming his shinigami is finding forgotten or unseen items, sounds, emotions, scents, ect ect from unseen times and planes that a line with the initial wish. That forms the body, "life" is given to the body from a piece of father grim himself. (hence his name the shinigami's are quite legit his kids) but a bunch of ideas and junk isn't enough to build the shinigami embryo those things need actual mass to latch onto to become a vessel that's where the excess flesh from the death seal comes in. (The first shinigami was made directly from father grims flesh meaning if something happened to him that "firstborn" would Inherit the name grim)

To sum it up a shinigami needs like 4 things to be formed

A wish/greed, crap that goes with that wish or the eventual change of that wish, a lil bit of papa grim, and the disconnected flesh of an existing shinigami.

11.favorite extracurricular activity? if it's in reference to school then band! i loved doing it in hs and would love to pick the tuba back up in college whenever i go. if we're talking about just hobbies, then probably taking care of my fish.

33.the last adventure you've been on? went downtown in my nearest metroplex to a punk show! i went with my roommates and boy was it an adventure lol. it was super cool though, and i'm excited to go back.

34.is there a song you know by heart? there's quite a few actually. i like to sing so it's kinda important that i know all the words to the song lmao. to name a few though; teenagers, masochism tango, confrontation, and the entire mitski discography. i also know the majority of mcr's discography.
