Like you’re really out here superimposing your very popular, much fanworked blorbos who I frankly do not care about onto my rare, infrequently fanworked blorbos who I love dearly?? smh.

Again, it’s completely irrational, this is just a vent, never be afraid to do cool AUs. I’ve done the same thing and I definitely will do it again, sometimes when I’m in the throughs of hyperfixation I have to somehow connect a piece of media to the object of my hyperfixation in order to fully engage with it as well.

In such a weird position reading A Darker Shade of Magic because story-wise it's excellent and a fun magic time and I know if I read it physically I wouldn't have any issues and it would probs go into my excellent fantasy works category, but I'm listening to the audiobook and hating every second of it jesus christ I can't stand this narrator he sucks but since I spent a credit on it and it was over a year ago so I now can't return it, I'm pushing through it and oh boy. i LOVE the story but I'm having the absolute WORST time of it

and i just finished this other audiobook too where the story was good but very mediocre yet the narrator was really good and had such a pleasing voice. It's just. Baffling and amazing how much the performance elevates or ruins a work
