Dnd Spells: Lightning Arrow

Lightning Arrow is a level 3 Transmutation spell unique to Ranger. Casting Time is a Bonus Action which you can take immediately after hitting or missing a target with a ranged attack using a weapon Range is Self Requires a Verbal and Somatic Component Duration is Instantaneous.

As your attack hits or misses the target the weapon or ammunition you're using transforms into a lightning bolt. Instead of taking any damage or other effects from the attack the target takes 4d8 Lightning damage on a hit or half as much damage on a miss. Each creature within 10 feet of the target then makes a Dexterity daving throw taking 2d8 Lightning damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one.

The weapon or ammunition then returns to its normal form.

Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot: The damage for both effects of the spell increases by 1d8 for each spell slot level above 3.

Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning Concept, 2011. AKA the Silver Arrow Concept, a retro-futuristic study for the Los Angeles Auto Show Design Challenge that drew inspiration from the Mercedes Silver Arrow race cars of the 1930s. Its roof was constructed of small pieces of lightweight magnetic squares that used Mag-Tech technology allowing them to either combine to form a targa-style hardtop, or retracted to convert the car into a roadster.

3.23 Builds in Review - This morning I continue my growing tradition of reviewing the outgoing Path of Exile league and the builds I created during Affliction.

Good Morning Folks! Yesterday was the official end of the Affliction League in Path of Exile and with it comes the quarterly job of shoving all of those “Remove Only” tabs under the bed. My strategy for the end of each league is to group all of those tabs into a folder named after that league so that I never have to deal with them again unless I am specifically fishing for an item.
